The only thing I didnt like was they had no ice cream. I dont know if it was that it was late and they were being lazy or they were just out. I find it hard to believe that a big place like this can allow running out of ice cream. Everything else was great. Even the employees were nice.
This is the worst McDonald’s burger I have ever bought through the Uber eat platform today. I bought four burgers. The fish burgers turned into dried fish burgers. The chicken buns were burnt and the soda was not even ordered with me. Same, this is the worst I have ever experienced, and I think the food is a bit stale, so I should report to the Health Bureau
Awesome place. Great service. The young lady in the drive thru was so cute and sweet. People went above and beyond. I asked for extra caramel and the young man went back inside to get it and wasnt rude about it. I really appreciate this place. Plus the drive thru is clutch cause I live in Brooklyn.
Went there this morning 7/16/22 .we ordered 2 big breakfast. Waited to get 2 big breakfast for 15 mins on line. No ketchup , no sugar , no butter , and no coffee sters. Very upsetting day. Im from nj and visiting the beach today. The people working there have no clue of whats going on in that place. And by the way the girl with the pink hair was very rude.
Went to this place today, and was very disappointed in the appearance of this newly renovated McDonalds. The interior of the dining room was a mess. The tables were dirty and strewn with garbage the seats and floors were dirty. The garbage cans were overflowing with garbage. And when brought to the managers attention, didnt seem to care much. I will be not going back to this place
Considering how busy it was when I went, my order was completed fairly quickly. I think I only waited 5 minutes in the store before they called for my order.Also - a big shoutout to the nice gentlemen in the store, I dont know your name, but this is the first mcdonalds where I was asked if I needed anything after I sat down. He was very professional and nice.First impression of this McDonalds was very good, way better than the other McDonalds on the Island that never packs ketchup with your fries or even adds napkins (and workers at that other location have attitude too).
If it werent for the horrible new setup Id give more stars. Seating is crowded. Only 1 register open to actually order. The other is for drive through. Not kid friendly anymore. No play place. A couple tables outside to sit but are usually filthy. Lines to the door. Literally you open the door & theres people waiting to order/waiting for food because of the horrible setup. kiosks are just in the way. Hardly anywhere to even stand when placing order or waiting for order. Chaos. Bring back the old mcdonalds where people actually enjoyed the expierence & had space. Terrible architecture inside. Was not thought about very good. They need another renovation to fix the renovation. Also the menu is now limited. No more chicken strips, salads, sundaes, peanuts, snack wraps, & who knows what else.
I bought a double quarter pounders from this place, but the patties were just the ones you get from a normal hamburger. It wasnt the quarter pounders patties. So basically it was just a mcdouble except I was charge $7.59. A mcdouble is only $3.09. This isnt even the first time that this has happen. CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE!
As a Wendy’s person I wanted to try the new Spicy Chicken McNuggets and mighty hot sauce and they was Fire!(pun intended) The food was hot&fresh and came quickly(ordered via app and curbside pickup). Friendly staff and the location has benches outside for outdoor dining. Just watch out for wasps apparently lol
Food is usually correct in the drive thru and in restaurant. Everything is hot when you get it. The fries are good but only if you eat them on the spot or the ride home. They quickly become a soggy mess. When it comes to delivery you can skip them. Quality is not the issue so far as getting the correct items is.
The drive thru was horrible and confusing. You drive up to pick up your food, and a employee walks over to your car to hand over your food. I knew that immediately that it wasnt my food he was giving me, because we Ordered several meals and drinks, and he tried to give us a small bag of food. When I asked where is the rest of the food, he said this was it. I said no, and showed him my pending credit card charge and he said hold on a minute and walked off. He mixed up the order and gave our food to the car in front that drove away. Check before you drive off.
Ordered multiple items , staff added 2 extra sandwiches to my order and I didnt order them , I knew price was high but was in rush to get back to hospital for my sick mother . When I called the store they just kept hanging up on me. Was charge 16.80 extra never going back qnd emailed corporate lets see if they care about their 40 year customer
Was there 7 am coffee on app. 99 cents. Wm mngr said tevhnocal issue no jot voffee . I tried iced coffee. She said no ice coffee. I never saw mcd so bad at 7 am horrible broke down i ordered before coffee saussge egg ncmuf. It was warm then hot cold. Like not cooked right. I like rpoached rgg snd cut out yellow was spread onside white part. And sandwich was mot hot for long. This mcd lousy.broke down worst
They were cooking so slow i got to watch an entire episode of breaking bad, one of them even threatened to spit in my food cause i asked could they hurry up, i couldn’t sit in the drive thru so long. i eventually waited it out and was met with rude attitude all around. never going back
The new set up is horrible! No space, 1 register (other is for drive through when the 1 in back breaks). Who ever agreed to rebuild this building & redesign it this way is beyond me. & not kid friendly at all anymore. Not even adult friendly. Use to be cool, warm, inviting, fun. Now its cold, dreadful, no room for the lines or people to order & pick up their food. They also cut down the menu alot, no more chicken selects, snack wraps, salads, peanuts & I dont know what else.
Very long queues very long delays! I order one product and receive a completely different one, or I don’t teach the product at all! is this dude in the photo your boss? why does it constantly stick out on the phone - it never works! Why is such a worker needed? awful just awful nobody works just sticking around in phones
The customer service is horrible!! I was going in drive through and first they got my order messed up, the when they finally gave it to me correctly there were no chicken nuggets! (I ordered happy meal by the way) also employees were fooling around and not taking their job seriously. Never going back to this one ever again! Also i want to mention, that with my happy meal came a apple juice which I said no too but they tossed in there anyway. I hate this

Combo: Steak and Pit Pork -the steak was PERFECT to my likings, and the Pit Pork was a different kind of taste that I was not expecting as such it was gone quickly because it was so satisfying to the tastebuds. I swear every single time Ive ever been to this McDonalds they always mess something up and forget half my order it cant ever be one good complete order I dont know who is working back there but come on literally my order was the easiest thing in the world nuggets and ranch it says it on the receipt theyre not even trying back there and they want more than than minimum wage please are you kidding i work In customer service Ik its bad but the food is good if they would ever get my order right
I often get fape in this store, I never walk in, they hire a lot of teenagers to work here, it is inevitable that they will make mistakes, you cant buy fape after twelve oclock PM, their service attitude is not bad, the children will still be there when the epidemic begins, they were passing food to guests at lane, imagine if my son was standing there I would be patient and forgiving.
The new McDonalds has a sleek and clean environment. It was very clean and definitely a upgrade from the previous McDonald. Huge parking lot and 24 hr opening. However I went around 11pm at night. The orders were very unorganized, it could be because they just opened ? Didnt have enough staff? There is lots of delivery service being picked up and people that ordered were waiting an excess of 20 to 30 mins for their order. I used the kiosk to place my order bc after waiting 5 mins for someone I stopped waiting. The food was hot, nuggets were crunchy and tasty. I just think they need to be more organized when taking orders and serving them. My review is withing the first week of opening. This may change after they get better.
The drive through was a bit packed, so we ordered mobile and walked in - it was considerably quicker.Do note that bathrooms (all have signs of single occupancy) are locked without a sign that you need to go and request it to be unlocked, where a person walks over to unlock, then requests to let them know that its free, so they can lock it.They should have a sign, request to unlock vs standing and waiting till someone supposedly is in comes out.... bad system.Ps the chicken nuggets were good😉
They always get the order wrong, no matter how simple it is. It could be two things ordered and they’ll get it wrong, forget something, or just pretend you don’t exist. They never serve shakes for some reason and the burgers taste spoiled or like they sat out and got microwaved until they finally sold. The chicken nuggets taste like oil, the buns are dry.And none of the employees understand how the app works and they’re allergic to giving refunds for their own mistakes. I placed a mobile order to save time and ended up standing around for 30 minutes while the crew in the back ignored me trying to politely get their attention. I guess I should have started snapping my fingers or something because ‘excuse me?’ wasn’t working.I’m out a good $20 on a meal because they told me I was lying about my order and they couldn’t find my order number. I didn’t realise I had to screen record my entire order process, but if I knew I was going to be put on the stand for some fast food… maybe I would have.
Today 03/20/2022.The staff dont understand what the customer would like.The name of the dishes was3 hotcakes & sausage.I ordered 1, but get check for 3 dishes.5.39*3=16.17.I try to decide this situation and refund my money,but I cant.And the head manager delayed this dishes from monitor and menu.It s not fair
Waiting is not long for picking up. Mostly disappointing is that I ordered Happy Meal 1 Chocolate kid milk , a hamburger, 2 small side fries , a toy including in Happy Meal. What I got a hamburger, a toy , a small Fries. Missing chocolate kid milk and missing 1 side small fries. My little brother asked. Extremely careful in order you might been missing some food you order.
Time for a real world review once again. People giving extra stars because of the “1950s-60s” theme inside, clearly haven’t left Staten Island in a long time and that isn’t a compliment in any way shape or form. The service is quick but the quality, even for fast food, is pretty hit or miss and most of the time it’s more of a miss. I didn’t ask for “light tartar sauce” or “light cheese” and yet I get a quarter of a slice of cheese? C’mon. And 2 spit sized squirts of sauce. Not even hot when I ate it but more of a room temperature, if your room had a window open, and that room was in Fairbanks Alaska. 3 stars for the cleanliness and the speed of the drive through.
By far the worst one Ive been too. Took me 25 mins just to drive thru and when at the window 3 people were on their phones. They never include sauces. Always have to check the bag before you leave,they will always forget something. Go to the Wendys a few blocks away. They are faster.

They are not so great as how they were one year ago their way of making to their burgers now is putting like less toppings,and they can get you sometimes the wrong order,all though it does seem to get crowded after 2:30 during the week. Their prices also got higher for example for 1 Big Mac with a medium fries and a medium soda it was almost 11 dollars.
This place has changed a lot since the remodel. I was really hoping they would have kept it the way it was, it was one of the nicest McDonalds left with the old-school records in the wall and the cool fifties style. Now it looks like every depressive Store out there and the service is terrible. Ive been there several times and even tho the workers are friendly they have gotten the order wrong and didnt even get condiments, napkins or utensils.
They tore down the old, and the remake is terrible. No space. Lines are a mess. 1 person working the ONE*** register. The other register is for drive through im told. This is the new design? Dont fix what aint broke. Went today on Halloween & they said they werent taking any more orders inside, only drive threw. I had my 2 young daughters in stroller. They even told 1 man even if you order online you still have to pick it up through the drive through. Very unorganized. Always check your bag before you lesve because 9/10 you are missing something, something incorrect & hardly ever give napkins. This place use to be kid friendly, but not anymore. No play place, space is extremely limited. The new layout of this place is really terrible..also they still never got back chicken strips, so even the menu isnt what it should be. & when they dont feel like making McCafe items they say were not doing that. & seating area outside is usually a mess & filthy.
This was my first time stopping in since they remodeled/rebuilt. The drive-thru line was long, so my wife and I went inside to order for take-out. The line was short, the cashier was pleasant/professional, and our Order was up pretty quick. The Quarter pounder was amazing, and the chicken nuggets were actually hot. The only reason Im giving 4 out of 5 stars is not really for a negative; but, the A/C inside was Super cold. Almost felt like being in a Hospital Emergency room. Hey ... some people would probably give them 6 stars for that arctic feel. All in all, We recommend this location.
Absolutely horrible customer service , I Was missing a lot of food, the fries were ice cold, and the tall manager with the slight accent and big forehead was very , and I say very rude to me . I dont recommend this McDonalds. Go to the one on Richmond they actually make your food right and respect your special requests on orders.
Sick and tired of this McDonalds. Something clearly needs to be done and I have a feeling the workers arent completely at fault. No matter what time or day I go through the drive-thru I have to wait 5 minutes before anyone takes my order, then they forget to do the 2 for $5 deal for breakfast sandwiches, and to top it all off they ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS, mess up my order. Every single time I order Mcmuffins with sausage egg and cheese and ALWAYS just get sausage and cheese instead. Extremely infuriating to do business with this location, theyre lucky theyre the only ones left on Hylan. Absolutely terrible, I would avoid this location at all costs and suggest driving another 10 minutes or however long it takes to a different location.
Twice this happened to me, I ordered a ICED MOCHA LATTE, and they give some caramel latte the first time and when they remake it they gave me the same exact drink telling me they can’t not make it without caramel. Where does the word caramel come up in ICED MOCHA LATTE???
Now this is the McDonalds I always go to. Never really have a problem. But I go there I order four hamburgers with extra pickles. I go all the way home, and take a bite of my hamburger and Im like what, And I look and there was no burger I got four hamburgers with no meat just pickles. No thats what the most ridiculous thing Ive ever seen in my life. And depending on the day you go they can be all nasty the employees in there, or they can be nice. Make sure you check everything before you leave.
The line was confusing because if you have mobile order, you still have to wait to get to the payment window instead of just go the other window to pick up the order. And the employee seems upset coz we didnt stop at the first window and went to the second window instead (to avoid the line) and told us that we messed up peoples order
I ORDERED 2 CHEESEBURGER MEAL, AND ASKED FOR NO PICKLES, THEY GAVE ME 2 BURGERS WITHOUT THE BURGERS. BEFORE TODAY I ALWAYS LOVED THIS PLACE. BUT HOW DO YOU FORGET THE MEAT. ITS ONE THING TO FORGET A ITEM. BUT YOU. HAVE TO BE REAL DUMB TO FORGET THE BEEF PART OF THE BURGER.
Overall, for a McDonalds restaurant its actually very good, I would have to say its very well run and organized even the drive thru.....as far as the food and drinks are concerned if you get your food hot its really good...parking lot can sometimes be a real headache especially on a Friday night.....
How do you take a great mc donald and rebuild it to probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had. 1 when you go in There are 2 registers and a fee confusing kiosks . 2 you cant see your food being made. 3 they got rid of the play place. Before the rebuild it was warm and inviting now it feels cold. Bottom line we dont go anymore We go to Wendys.
Ordered and pick up at curbside. Wait for 20+mins and the food still doesn’t come. So, I went in to the restaurant and see my food done already, but no one bring them outside. The food of course cold already!2)I ordered 2 happy meal for my kids and want to switch the same for my kids in case they were fighting. Back to McDonald’s and ask the front desk lady.( pink hair). We don’t have a chance to talk to her yet, She saw my daughter holding the toys and just tell us the toys were sold out! No more toys to switch. Excuse me, Rude and ridiculous!
1star is generous ordered a big breakfast I go to register in drive through she said big breakfast with hot cakes I said no. I didn’t ask for hot cakes ok she said I’ll give you a dollar back pick up food look in bag I said why is there a English muffin? It comes wit a biscuit. The food was good but I cant believe they have the employees outside working in this heat. They didnt even at least give them water bottles. I feel if you want employees to work well then you need to take care of them so they help your business better by taking care of the customers. I really felt bad for them. I dont understand how hard it is to put sauce in the bag when nuggets are ordered. Every single time Ive gone here, the sauces are missing. Sometimes its even straws and napkins that are missing. If its once then mistakes are understandable but its every single time!!!!
Upon entering I was immediately harassed by the security guard while waiting for my wife to order. He proceeded to follow me around and then referred to me as sir though im very clearly a woman amd they messed up my order. Mr. Rosario Iraci, I assure you I will never be back. Lets recap I walked in was harassed and embarrassed and I relieved someone elses order. Id give less stars but its not an option.
This is the second time this month my order was not correct or complete. My mom was there about 45 minutes ago and somehow they forgot 3 orders of my nuggets but It was not convenient to check before coming home because I had a pretty large order. And whenever I try to call it says “ all circuits are busy.”
If I wanted a Stale burger for my daughter and I , we would of went to a jersey rest stop that’s Insane at 6pm rush hour dinner time ? stale 🍞 & Burger was horrible as well & I never complain I mean it’s McDonald’s but wow this is wasn’t kewl at all & when I said something she made a face as if I was trying to get something for free so I threw it all out and my daughter & I went to Wendy’s !!!!!
It seems a little hectic now that staff actually hand off your food to you instead of waiting like the old system. Staff are very polite and respectful. Dine-in is now compact than what it used to be. Service was a 10 min wait but what stuck out to me was the quality of the food! It was a shocker to see fresh ingredients and fresh meat in my quarter pounder.
Idk why theyre trying to be so fancy. Its McDonalds. Everything is more expensive than it was, they got rid of snack wraps, and the old inside was sooooooo much better than the remodeled version.And oh yeah, my friend and I had to wait 20mins for our fast food. I havent been there in years, and needless to say I probably wont be going back anytime soon. Bad experience overall, minus the company of my friend.We ate in the outside area which was also filthy.Giving it 3 stars is honestly pretty generous now that Im really thinking about it.
Place went way downhill since the remodel. Ordered from doordash, my whole order of fries were missing (however, another reviewer found a dead fly in their fries, so maybe this was a blessing in disguise). I will never understand how a place known for its fries forgets to include fries in their orders. Unfortunately there isn’t another McDonald’s around otherwise I would never come to this location again.
Thinking about going here gave me anxiety whenever my friends or family wanted food. I gave it a few chances since the rebuild. I am seriously never coming here again last time. I literally have tried it 5 times after the rebuild and am always waiting over 20 mins after I placed my order. This is McDonald’s come on get your act together. Change management and post it with a banner maybe you’ll get my business here again. Just be ready for long waits for food they are not with the McDonald’s program. Worst service at any McDonald’s across the US I have visited.Everything but my nuggets were cold.
I was very upset!! I went there with my little brother.As we were waiting I had my brother sit at the table by the door, until we got our food to leave.when they the manager calls my number she rudely tells me you cant eat her.which I reply Were not just waiting for our food.She then rolls her eyes and says here take your order.I then ask for a cup holder because I had three large drinks.She says very nasty well we dont have them they stopped making them.Now I know it sounds like Im being petty but she was very Nasty and unprofessional, and thats not cool..
This location really went downhill since the remodel. The place is half the size and because of that the place is completely packed and overcrowded. The food is only so so.Edit: I would give it zero stars if I could but I cant. These guys are constantly forgetting food in the bag, their food is undercooked or over salted and the staff there is just completely unfriendly and refuses to fix any mistake they make. This place has been open for almost 7 months you would think theyd know what theyre doing
Two stars for the friendly staff. We try to place an order in the drive through but we waited over 10 mins and the line wasnt moving so we decided to park and go inside. Our oder was placed at 9:57pm and after a 30 min wait finally our number is called . Piece of advice check your order before you leave even sandwiches that are close if you asked for special instructions , unfortunately we didnt do so and got half our order wrong plus cold fries. I truly hope they better at following directions and making sure customers get what they pay for.
Post renovation review. Went in to get some food to go. Now there are kiosk where you place your order and have the option to pay by credit card. Navigating the screen was a bit confusing at first, and I no longer saw things that were on the old menu (20 piece nugget?). Anyway, got through it but felt rushed as the place was starting to get busy. When youre done, the machine is supposed to spit out your ticket with your number which they will call when your foods ready. My number didnt come out, but I saw a receipt jammed in the machine. I was able to get it out, and it was the prior order from whoever was in front of me. After, that I was able to fish my receipt out. I waited for about 5 minutes for my food (1130am). While I waited, there was much confusion behind the counter, and a couple of people complaining. One said their food wasnt hot, and another said I want the manager now, its been 15 minutes since I ordered. The crew seemed overwhelmed and unsure what to do. The layout seemed a bit cramped as well and the waiting area for food had me feeling clostrophobic. Who thought it this design and sold it to you?? I preferred the old layout more. My food was good, a bit to salty though(both fries and double quarter pounder), and my order was complete. Seems there are a few kinks to work out, as its only be reopened a little more than a week. I didnt receive ketchup for my fries, and Im not sure if thats another option at the kiosk or not? Overall good experience, and it will probably improve once the crew gets used to their routine.
Honestly this remodeled McDonalds is not only aesthetically pleasing in terms of the general atmosphere inside but the employees are extremely nice although they are clearly overworked in such a packed environment because the McDonalds ordering section inside is extremely small while the eating section is quite large. Check yo bag before you wreck yo bag. Always forgetting SOMETHING or some kind of mistake. Problem is I think too many hands on deck on the orders themselves (instead of multiple people @ the front actually taking the orders; very limited space w/ new design & lines quickly to the door) Their extra register, the 2nd one, i was told is used incase the drive threw one malfunctions, cause it does often...)}, so everyone thinks the bags gotta be right since so many dif. People are helping to prepare order. They get Sealed up when it is a third party delivery & sent out, without double triple checking bags like they absolutely should & need to according to order placed. Also they usually never provide straws w/ orders to go via doordash, etc. Some of the workers are very nice, friendly, kind, you can tell they work hard. Some, eh. But they need to really get it together w/ packing orders properly. New design also stinks in many ways. Lines sometimes all the way to the door. Theyre were 3 registers created but onky 2 are used (usually onky q used). Because the 3rd is incase drive threw register breaks down like it normally does I was told). No play area, not that much seating. No construction needs to be reconstructed again lol. And workers need to really check bags check bags check bags until they are 100% correct with all required items before putting 3 big stickers on them to seal shut!! Get your pens out and check off items since
Out of all the McDonalds I been to I like this one the best. They are always crowded but they always have plenty of workers and service is pleasant and fast. Place is constantly being cleaned. I also love the decor. Its very old fashion. They have a nice playroom that my kids enjoy and an outdoor eating area!
Incredibly unprofessional and unsanitary during a pandemic. I go through the drive through and order food. I drive up to the pay window and paid but I cant get to the pick up window because there is a person standing in the lane. I pull up a little and my food is handed to HIM and he turns and hands it to me. No social distancing. Absolutely no reason for him to be handed my food to turn and hand it to me. Were in a pandemic and the less people handling food the better. He didnt even hand it to me on a tray. He took it in his hand, turned around and gave it to me. WHen i asked the supervisor about this, PRAVEED said you know a lot of people handle your food anyway and then hung up. When they tore it down, they should have left it down.
The best Macdonalds in town. You would never regret being there. The customer service is fantastic. Very friendly and caring people work here.They always show so much love for my kids and every other kid Ive seen around; they are always giving out free stuff to the kids and they also care so much about their safety.They care about adults too; they love seniors so much, I have not seen any senior that did not become a constant customer.This place is always clean, especially the bathroom.Something amazing happened here to me sometime ago. My daughters cell phone was taken by a passers-by, who came in just to use the bathroom. The manager and all the staffs went out of their way to help is get the phone back. They did above and beyond expectation, searching through video recordings and questioning workers and guests until this person was identified; now thats what I call customer appreciation.I miss going here with my kids. Weve not been here in a long time because we moved away from the neighborhood after my children graduated from the elementary and middle schools close by. Our schedules are so tight now we hardly ever have time to go out of our regular rout which is in opposite direction.Going in right after school is always a good time for kids to eat and play together. The best slide and play pen is here!
Ever since this McDonalds was redone its kind of hit-or-miss. Sometimes the food is hot and sometimes it is lukewarm. The staff that work that are really awesome. Theyre double drive-thru line moved pretty quickly. The only thing that is a downer is they stop serving breakfast 24 hours a day. Im guessing this is due to Covid.
Hello fellow McDonald’s lovers! I would like to report the horrible treatment I received at the McDonald’s located on Hylan blvd and midland ave on Staten Island. Now, all Staten islanders know this is the place to go when they are craving a midnight snack or an early morning hash brown! However this has greatly changed for myself! I went there around 530am Friday 02/08/19 to get my coffee before work. Not only was I ignored by every person working that shift the man leaving to take out the trash flipped me the middle finger when I asked if they were open. On top of that all I was not just being ignored but there was an employee smoking pot right outside the front doors! Now let me just say I don’t care what you do on your own time but when you are at work that is not the time nor the place. I am a disgusted, unhappy customer and I will continue to tell my story! Get it together people there are many hardworking people that would be happy to take your job! I will be writing a letter to corporate and I will you in touch with the manager! Hope their cruelty was worth it because I was not the person to disrespect!
I tried this place 3 times . Two of the three times they got the order wrong. All 3 times the food was not fresh. I been eating McDonald’s for 37 years in over 10 states and in other countries. This by far is the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever eaten in . I’m am so disappointed with this place that I believe I will no longer eat here nor any other McDonalds again.
Nice seafood place with decent menu for see food lovers all you can eat served at your table you order m and they keep coming. Wait time is long although the space is large so I was not sure it was a staffing issue. Also they take time to prepare the food so plan your re order accordingly . It is pricier than most other buffet by margin but the food is worth itP.S. Lobster is NOT on the buffet menu and is ordered separately. Ironic!
This place is great. For the people complaining, you obviously never worked a day in fast food. These people work hard to get you your food and should be treated with some respect. the drive through with 2 lanes, you are supposed to merge!! its not that difficult to understand. have some decency when posting a review! No playplace? big deal! Fast food restaurants are just that... fast FOOD not playplaces. I go here often, sure sometimes they dont seem as fast but theyre new!! One stars and 2 stars?? Thats a joke of a review. if something is wrong with your order check it, more than likely they will replace it for you. Love this place.
New post 2/5/20 was hoping for better results came in today for lunch everything was still cold pre-made prior to order being placed very very dissatisfied with the new system very dirty as far as touching the screen to place your order very confusing not user-friendly at all packed to the gills dont know what the people are coming in here for really amazing it was a great McDonalds prior to the change. This was my Past post 1 year ago Just had lunch I dont go to McDonalds often very surprised excellent ! The food was fresh ,staff was good, Im shocked has to be the best McDonalds on Staten Island !
The boy working outside at drive thru handing people their food refused to wear his mask. He had it pulled down. I watched as several cars pulled up. I asked another worker to please tell him he must wear his mask. He pulled up and then took right down. When I pulled up I told him. He was arrogant and not complying. Pulled it up for me and took it right down. This was at 2:30 in the afternoon. I hope the manager can tell him right now, it’s the law. Have seen many complaints about this at that McDonalds.
Just went in to McDonalds this morning Amber the manager was so nasty unbelievable They really need to change their staff or get rid of people that do not deal with the public wellvery nasty overcharge me $6dollars never gave me back the money that they charged me for stuff that I did not get so ridiculous this McDonalds is unbelievable I would never go there again
Today we visited the new McDonalds, after the renowation, and were very disappointed. Is much smaller than the old McDonalds who was at this place. There is no playground anymore, and is sorely lacking. Even my daughter, who is 6 years old and who was really looking forward to the opening of the new McDonalds, was disappointed. Two stars only for polite staff. We used to come here every week, now we will not come here anymore.
Last 4 times I ordered either in person or by Grubhub my order was missing or incorrect. Trying to call is useless because every time I called there is no ring and goes straight to “all circuits are busy, try your call later”. Paying almost $29 in delivery fees and I have to go back myself to get the food. Ridiculous
Well the verdict is out. The work is done and the only plus I have for it is it looks new and clean. The praise ends there. I have been coming here since I was a child I am 41 now. In my opinion they destroyed that McDonalds. Its one of if not the busiest on Staten Island and whoever designed it did a very poor job. Although they claim it only has 7 less seats the dining room is way to small. It made me feel like I was on a rush hour 4 train. The area up front to order has the same if not worse feel. A second floor would have made sense and if that wasnt possible due to building codes and such then the dining room and front counter area should have been made much larger. The parking lot is just as much of a mess. The drive through line cuts right through and because of it you can get stuck in your spot for an eternity. They have 2 drive through ordering stations but for some odd reason people seem to be treating it as though it is only one further delaying and causing congestion in the parking lot. My experience was so bad I believe ordering it via Uber Eats is actually a better option despite the insane upcharge to do so. Unfortunately I will not be going back there. The McDonalds in Greenridge plaza is a much better choice and at least I will not be reminded of being stuck on an over packed 4 Train.
Kids play area so dirty!! Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in ages! The floor is filthy. Inside the tunnel slide is full of dirt and trash. So disappointed! Do not joke when it comes to kids! If you can’t maintain a play area properly then you shouldn’t have one! You cannot invite kids to play in an unsanitary place! This is totally unacceptable!!
I placed an order on 5/31/20 at 10:30 pm for a fish sandwich. The bread was like a rock. Literally you could knock on it and even throw it. It looks like the bread is old as hell. Disgusted. I have video to prove it. Will be forwarding it to the health department hoping they get investigated for selling unsanitary food!!!
My daughter asked me to pick her up the Crispy Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich Combo. She really liked it. I had a Quarter Pounder with cheese which was overly: greasy and salty. I did not like the texture of the burger and it gave me indigestion. I figured a newly rebuilt McDonalds from the ground up with a new grill would be worth trying. I was truly disappointed. I used to like McDonalds burgers alot. Ill give them another chance down the road, but this did not meet my expectations. Everyone has to decide for themselves.
I ordered a large coffee and when i went to the window to pick it up i asked her if it had milk and an equal in it?.... She said I ordered black. i asked her to please give me some creamers and she asked for the coffee back and put milk in it and handed it back....I asked her if it was light and she said that was all the machine dispenses.The coffee was not far up from black.The worst cup of coffee Ive ever had.
Horrible.... I ordered $65 worth of food and received burnt burgers, soggy fries, and I asked for extra bbq sauce and received none. I ordered 20 nuggets and had nothing to dip them in. Cheese looked old. Ughh Nasty is all I can say. I will be by tommorow to speak to a supervisor as no one is answering the phone.
Horrible experience. There were barely any items available on the menu, and when I got up to the pay window they told me they only take cash. Then they just stared at me when I told them I only had a card. Very unhelpful and it’s ridiculous that a chain as large as McDonald’s doesn’t take debit cards. If I could give zero stars I would.
Late night Friday, those workers were being bombarded and they did quite well. After reminding them about 4x about my order they still dropped the ball. But they were swamped, and they did try. No 5 stars this time. But overall a clean place and the workers this note were really hustling...give those folks some hours and some Benefits!
I am very happy that this McDonalds reopened in a beautiful environment. Dined here with the children today and felt their service was very good and respected. Recalling that I was discriminated by Burger King employees in tysens ln a year ago, it is even warmer here, and I will come to this McDonalds for dinner soon.
Very good place. Decent, great 50s theme inside. Kids friendly, except for the out of control school kids. Very busy always. Family peaceful on weekends. And the workers work very hard. They deserve alot of credit and praise for their customer service and patience. Best McDonalds on Staten Island besides the one by the Outerbridge crossing.
The place & management is nice, Roy was the manager on duty. However the kids that come from after school are horrible. Their behavior and filthy mouths were out of control.... I was there with my daughters, 3&5 years old, and they physically fought and drinks and Ice were thrown around. We got wet.I think they should ban the misbehaved kids and let the people who really want to enjoy a meal do it in peace
I had my daughter’s birthday party here today and it was amazing (surpassed my expectations for a McDonald’s party) Everything Went smooth and my baby girl had a great time.Thank you Selena you were a awesome hostess, your face paint was on point!! Food is good when they actually get your order correct lazy employees and no communication even though they consider this place to be a team working place theirs gaps od communication some staff arw friendly others have very bad attitude drive thru can be a pain when your waiting 20m on a fri night finally get to the menu and the icecream machine is turned off ! And its always turned off by a certain time never fails if it is on they screw up your icecream
It was Thursday morning I k into McDonalds to use only the restroom the place was full of school kids that I walked into the bathroom there was urine all over the toilet seat todays kids are really dirty they have no morals and they have no decent upbringing. I also would like to correct McDonalds when they tell you that the chicken McNuggets are white meat thats false its white processed meat
Did the drive through..got the wrong order..in fact it was not included in the order at all..was charged lots for what we did not get....mind you..at the cashier we reiterated our order, but still did not get..the grandkids were extremely disappointed..in fact one did not get his order at all..never returning there again..
Update: 01/20/2020 first visite After rénovation. The place looks smaller now and NO Play place for kids 😠 👎 1 star...My old review with 4 stars: I like the place because it offers a indoor play place for kids and I believe its the only one in the island with a playplace.As of 11/11/2019 store closed for redesign.
The workers are rude and unprofessional. They are a bunch of stuck up snobs who talk about their personal lives on the floor in front of the customers. I really dont care about whos brother is coming to the job to knock out another employee. It is disgusting. Also there is way too much salt and pepper in their food. Thanks for the poor and unsatisfying experience.
I went there yesterday night, the order was missing items, once highlighted on pickup window they told me to pull up in front spot 1 and wait . After 15 minutes they delivered the pack saying it’s complete, when we left saw that it’s still missing two items and the lady told a lie.

2022-07-14It is a McDonald’s. It has a drive-through. It has those machines that take your order instead of you having to wait for a cashier to take your order. Those machines work effectively. When you use them you get your order in a reasonable time period. This McDonald’s is clean. There is nothing objectionable about this McDonald’s.

2022-06-19First time eating since renovation.It is nice but why does it feels smaller?I do love the kiosk.Staff seems a little snobbish/doesn’t smile or look :(I wish they’d keep tables and surroundings clean since it’s not many tables and small place.Didn’t wait too long but since I entered my table number for dine-in thought it’ll come to my table but apparently not :( so our food was sitting for idk how many minutes :( I now know to wait by the pick up area since they really don’t serve on the table smh.I saw they have shakes/frappe’s I’m glad their machines working :)

2022-01-30It’s sucks. It’s a mess. Didn’t pack the order right. It missed out one burger and it takes them 45 mins to place the missing item. It’s ridiculous! Will never come back to this place. Please check your order before leaving.

2022-03-20Tired of spending top dollar at this McDonalds in the drive thru to go home and be disappointed. Sometimes no hamburgers in the buns Sometimes nothing in the egg mcmuffin except a English muffin. Wrong orders or coffee grounds in the coffee not even a little, an obnoxious amount in both regular and iced coffee. I understand fast food. But there needs to be someone to check the orders as they go out. I hate to complain but its not fair we are all paying for this food. Please try to correct these issues with staff. Thank You!

2022-07-30When to the drive through for and only got a 6 piece kids meal for my daughter. When I checked the box there was no toy so we asked for one and they laughed at us then gave us a toy. After we drove away I started to give my daughter some of the fries and she asked for chicken nugget. When I opens the box we only got 3 nuggets. Happy meals offer 4 or 6 piece nugget option so we did even get a 4 piece. I am more upset that we were charged for something we didn’t get and we had to run home to feed her anyway because she didn’t get enough after we spent money to get lunch since we were doing errands

2022-05-13The quality of the food is always high, or basically what you would expect from any McDonald’s, it’s just that they are typically pretty slow at this location. Of course, I recognize that this is not their fault, as there are a humongous number of GrubHub or seamless type orders that they have to fulfill, and I’ve never seen their drive-through not be packed. Plus, the staff is generally super friendly, and definitely helpful.

2022-07-31Went there two days in a row and ordered the same thing both times; and both orders they forgot apart of the item that I paid extra for. I understand rush- but it wasnt so busy that they couldnt clearly read the same order two days in a row and it being the same staff both times. I had to take my item to the counter both times for them to fix it. If I am paying extra for extra- I better get extra.

2022-07-15It’s my favorite McDonald’s in Staten Island. But dear management/owner could you please fix the issue with the mobile orders. It’s been happening for almost a year now. They always tell me that my payment didn’t go through so I end up paying at the window. And a few minutes later the app sends me a receipt. I think I double pay everytime so I avoid using the app here. Please fix this. Thank you

2022-05-25Getting worse and worse. The drive thru now closes at 9m. Sometimes only one is operational.Sundaes dont exist and Frappe are a Crappe Shoot because they barely have them as well.Trying to avoid the headache of walking in I used the app with curbside pickup but 2 times they What I ordered wasnt available even though the app lets me make the order.Pro Tip McDonalds: If you dont have something available dont let customers buy it.It would be so bad if you could easily obtain a refund but that is an exercise in frustration. One Manager did it for me easily but on another day the manager said that its impossible and that I needed to cancel the order. Meanwhile the order says it was filled and didnt let me get my money back.From FAST Food to SLOW motion and a bad MOOD.Get it together McDonalds. These issues can be easily fixed.
