Horrific with wait times...they should close one entrance because cars cut other cars its horrible!!! Update Jan 30, 2022,,,,forgot that this is the worst McDonalds...Cold cheeseburgers and a water tasting ice tea...go back and complain and the workers start acting ghetto...this is become a trash place...i will never go back here...not to mention they messed up the replacement order with no ketchup on the burgers...smh!!!
This McDonalds at Forest & Broadway committed a host of offenses (skip to end for most egregious one):5. All the hand sanitizer dispensers were empty.4. Very long wait for simple order: two six-piece nuggets & two small fries.3. When my number (262) is called and I work my way through crowd to get to counter, the employee is only holding my receipt, no food. He gives receipt to different employee and leaves. Why call my number if food isnt ready?2. When food did finally come, there was sweet n sour dipping sauces. I wanted a spicy dipping sauce, but was never asked.1. When I tasted the fries. Unacceptable! Had I not been intermittent fasting and hungry, I wouldve returned the fries. The one advantage of a crowded long wait time McDonalds is that all fries should be fresh & piping hot.
This McDonald’s location denied to complete my order and stated that supposedly “the voice that came through the system was automatic” which is complete BS. Even though they’re open, according to their online page, the rude workers completely disregarded my order as a customer and wouldn’t help us with the service needed. Horrible service!!!!
I wish I could give no stars. I went inside to order Chicken McNuggets and waited almost 15 minutes. To add to the wait, the Manager was screaming at one of her employees in front of the customers because he helped another employee put in an order on his kiosk. No supervisor should talk to an employee in front of customers the way this Manager did. I will never visit this McDonalds again.
Standard mcdonalds except for the fact that at night they cant follow a basic task like when ordering a double quarter pounder and doesnt even include the double that you paid for and it even says it on the box. ask for no ketchup? theyll slather it all over. pay for extra bacon and all? wont put it in. above all, didnt even give a receipt but it still says it on the boxes. there have been countless times, almost EVERY single time that ive ordered from here in the drive-thru, that they always mess up an order and do not give me what i paid for and its getting so exhausting. i understand this happens in fast food but when its been almost ten times in this past month as its the nearest place for me at night, whoevers working the night shifts really need to pay attention on what people order or just quit their job.
Welp. My food was given to another patron and then regiven to me.I literally watched the bag of food get opened and passed back to the worker. Dont expect for anything different, I bet noone even pays attention to the people who help pay their bills.When I pulled up next I asked her to make my food fresh while she lied in my face telling me I didnt see her give it to someone else first.The manager asked her and she finally admitted the food had been touched.By this time were done. You cant even be trusted with the truth!
I don’t like this McDonald’s because i pay for my food online to pick up Then my brother went to pick up the pick up but the girl said that they could not receive the order and told my brother to cancel it and in the online order application he could not cancel and they deducted my money that I supposedly paid. I ordered my food but they could not receive the order that I supposedly asked for it nasty this should correct those who are working dont buy more here
I went today at 9:15 and ordered coffee and I could not get it because the machine was broken!! How can that be. My family and I were very disappointed. I am passing this on to the rest of my family and friends. I really hope you fix that machine. Thank you for reading this. Feel free to write back to me.
Horrible service never have I waited so long for just my order to be taken cashier proceed to pick up his phone and leave from the front of the store he didnt notify anyone that he was leaving and I waited almost another 15 mins before I asked another employee that was taking orders for drive thru orders in the front registers if someone was going to come work the register and they had someone come start taking orders for the customers in the store I then started waiting for my order that was taken wrong because I had asked for two orders of apple slices and cashier only rang one up when I finally received my order there no napkins in the bag this is the worst experience I have every experienced in this location Im am ashamed to say I have worked at this location but it was never this bad also need to add that multiple employees working on orders for mobile pick ups and delivery was so disorganized
Consistently lousy customer service through grubhub delivery! Always items missing from my orders. Complete waste of time ordering through grubhub. Apparently lazy workers dont double check bagged orders before passing them off to grubhub. Not grubhubs fault for this...
The value menu was not clearly listed and the prices were hard to read on the drive thru board. Ended up ordering a 10 piece nuggets not realizing they charge 5 dollars when they have a 1 dollar 4 piece nuggets, the math doesnt add up, you save money by making them waste packaging, it doesnt make sense in this more environmentally aware climate (I guess its on par with the white houses view on the environment though). On top of that my sweet tea was warm, I now remember why I barely go to McDonalds anymore.
Every time you go to this place, theyre mainly, concerned with filling uber eats, grub hub.instead of concentrating on customers who are waiting for their orders who are already in the store. Its a nice place the owners are friendly and the place is clean, they just need to get more help or pay more attention to the customers inside the store as well as out going orders.
Food was hot and fresh. The drive thru line moved pretty quickly and I had no issues with giving my order. The cashier was very polite and repeated my whole long order to confirm it was right and suggested a way to make it cheaper by ordering a special . I appreciated that very much. Thanks for the great service.
This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to by far. Despite giving them about 3 tries they failed every time. The French fries always look old and taste like cardboard. The chicken nuggets look old and tasted very unusual. The Apple Pies I got were seriously expired to the point that the inside turned stale. The customer service here is poor as well, there are a bunch of teenage employee just in the back eating ice cream and laughing. Serious changes need to be made here; avoid at all costs
I’ve gotten into the habit of writing reviews because I find it brings awareness to the restaurant about certain things. This review couldn’t wait and had to be written immediately so I pulled my car over.While waiting in the driveway for 7mins for someone to take my order, I witnessed two RATS fighting over a piece of meat in broad daylight! This happened on the grass right in front of my car! Now can you imagine what that does to a person and their appetite AND what this says about the establishment itself! I had to drive right through without stopping because it’s not like they took my order anyway. Can you imagine what it must be like in the dark?! There must be rodents everywhere!This is really unacceptable and isn’t something to be taken lightly. If the outside of this establishment is like this, can you imagine what it’s like inside when the lights are out?All of this counts. One little incident like this can really affect business. Cleanliness is so vital to a fast food place. When was the last time this establishment was under review?
Its amazing how these guys and girls(mainly) work!!This is a repeating job. They dont get bored because they cant stop at this Franchise. There times, things works like a dream others is like the car wont start and everyone is stuck which most of the times the job of the manager to look ahead instead of being a firefighters after things got f*up. Why should all soda machines would run out of syrup? Ice, mistake one flavour for the other? At the same time?They have 2 for the public and one dedicated for the car window.The one for the window is always good but since there is no one checking these machines they go bad all the time.Well, enough of machines, what makes McDs happy is that the food is the same like a big franchise is supposed do.The workers here except one ARE the best. Well trained.
We brought our grandson for lunch and ordered him a happy meal, when I asked if they had a different toy a staff member was very rude when she responded no, that us all we have. I understand it was busy at the time and the staff seemed overwhelmed but that is no excuse for rudeness. Will not return here, and will reccomend to family and friends to avoid it as well.
This restaurant just reopened after being rebuilt from the ground up.Everything is about a thousand times better but it was before the rebuild. The dining area is open and airy with lots of windows and sunlight. The staff is very friendly and attentive and helpful. The food is delivered fresh and warm most of the time, which wasnt the case before.
Ok service ..we were served pretty quick..the only exception was when the worker used the same cloth for about 7 or 8 tables without rinsing or changing the rag..and she still left food particles at the ends she couldnt reach. For a change I dined in... when school is in session its usually crowded, noisy, and messy.. My mcnuggets were too hard as well
Should be called slow food instead of fast food. They havent compensated for multiple ways orders come in: online orders and the new kiosks. I heard them say they were out of multiple sauces BBQ and sweet and sour. And their new floors were sticky and filthy. I was expecting a lot more with all the new store upgrades but someone in hiring needs to reevaluate their needs and staff the place properly.
Service takes too long, the new system doesnt work. They want you to put your order in on the computer to save time but it doesnt. You have 20 people standing around waiting on food. They should go back to the old way. It takes too long. I was waiting on a fish meal for 20 minutes. Thats ridiculous. Stay away
This is probably the worse run McDonalds I ever been in! They literally take the word fast out of fast food. 3 registers but only 1 is opened and when they opened a 2nd one to accommodate a difficult customer on the first one the 2nd one only takes cash. Me and 8 ppl behind me stood there like freaking statues for 15 minutes until the customer in front of me was done and afterwards the cashier just leaves the register and doesnt come back. Me and the 2 guys behind me had to yell out at the manager to ask them if they were ever going man the credit card line again before they finally got a clue.
I went there a few weeks ago, they had absolutely no soda or iced tea. They had two drink machines, one iced tea and one soda. The soda machine had at least 10 different sodas for selection. They said the soda machine and iced tea machine was empty, not out of order but empty. All they had was bottled water for sale and the bottled water there was way too expensive. If I can remember correctly the bottled water was $1.75. Never going there again unless absolutely needed.
Dont go here. They fixed it up and made it look nice but the service still sucks! Even the manager doesnt have a clue. During my last visit, I ordered from the kiosk which werent working properly and were out of receipt paper. My order duplicated and I spoke to an employee who couldnt help me. I then told the manager and she said she would refund me. I waited for 30 minutes and she brings me both orders and I had to explain to her once again that I just wanted a refund for the duplicate order. I also told her that someone needed to shut off the kiosk or put a sign that it is out of order and she didnt. About 5 more people came in and used it after me and had issue. You would think they would do something then, but they didnt. I sat and ate my food and watched customer after customer make the same mistake and she never put up a sign or turned off the kiosk. Part of my order was a kids meal for my daughter and I was suppose to have a yogurt but they gave me apples. When we went to the table another customer told me they said they were out of apples so they gave her daughter yogurt but yet they gave me apples when I wanted yogurt.Ive never been to this location and not have my ordered messed up. The employees to the manger need better training and learn how to prioritize tasks so things run smoothly.
This McDonalds has to be one of the worst ones Ive ever been too. Went there for lunch last week went through drive thru they gave me wrong order. Then I go again today using drive-thru after waiting for about 20 mins they finally tell me they do not have fries. So even if I wanted too turn around I couldnt because of the line of cars behind me and in front of me. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Do yourself a favor if your hungry and pass by this McDonalds keep driving theres another one further down the road.....
Today I odered burgers fries etc.l, before I went to work. Store is at 803 Forest Ave, Staten Island, NY. Anyway, my wife opens her regular cheeseburger and a full bite was already taken out of it. Meaning someone in the store took a bite and wrapped it up and gave it to my atcthe drive through. I wont trust this place ever again.
Food is as expected, but the drive thru is packed at any time of day, with cars trying to enter the one-lane drive thru from two entrances. Great if you have time to kill, or just want to watch adults argue over who was first. While the drive thru doesnt exactly keep to the whole fast food experience, the employees here are very kind and accommodating.
I honestly can’t give this place a decent review. A while back McDonalds corporate came down and said they were promising to increase the speed of Drive Thru service. Many restaurants from then on up until now have kept true to that. This McDonalds can have you sitting in their drive thru quite some time. The maximum time I spent in that Drive Thru was around 15 minutes and no I am not exaggerating. On average I am In The Drive Thru between 6 to 8 minutes. That’s not to say there have been times that I am in an out but those times are few and far between.The absolute worst though is the sheer amount of times they are not accepting Credit/Debit cards and only cash. I get it, there are times when the POS goes down, but at this location it seems to happen far too much. Even more frustrating is that they do not tell you they are not accepting Card until AFTER you get to the Speaker to place the order and already have a number of cars behind you simply because they are moving so slow.Honestly it is a McDonalds that needs some serious re-evaluation and some serious help. Granted it has prime location and is incredibly popular but that doesn’t make it any better. I don’t come here all too often but I’ve come enough times before I decide to make an evaluation and write a review and unfortunately I have a consistent bad experience and this rating reflects that.
Very rarely do I stay and eat here. I always take my order to go. Sticky tables, rickety seats, and homeless people with mental health issues make it difficult for you to enjoy your meal. While Im sympathetic when it comes to the homeless something needs to be done about them harassing customers.
Fast in and out drive thru.. unless theres a line then skip it... there can be 4, 5, 6 cars waiting to order then 3 or 4 cars waiting to pay n pick up. Parking is available but only holds about 20 cars and maneuvers can be difficult. Otherwise the staff is pleasant and efficient.
Very slow service. Drive through hours are wrong. They are supposed to be open until 1am according to google but we got in line at 12am behind a few cars. Came to order and said they were closed. Very inconsiderate of people’s times. At least post a notice so people don’t line up to order only to drive to the window to hear they are closed.
I always come to this McDonalds because I live not too far away but I recently visited with my brother and my dad and the staff was super friendly and fast, a worker striked up a nice conversation with us and the food was amazing. They renovated and its really nice and clean now and the best part, the food, was fresh and exactly what youd expect from Mickey Ds . Pleasure coming here.
An adequate Mcdonalds. Food is usually good and service is decent. Wait times can be a bit long though and can get pretty packed during peak hours since IS 27 is right next to it so be prepared to deal with some obnoxious school kids during dismissal (1-3pm). Nasir the manager is very nice however and a hard working fellow so please give this man a raise and some vacation time.Drive-thru is inconveniently narrow and densely packed so its not well suited to fit both drive thru and parking customers through the drive thru entrance. As a tip, if youre parking your car for dine-in I highly recommend only entering through the Broadway entrance than using the Forest ave entrance.Itll save you from dealing with being stuck on a drive thru line when you really just want to park.
This McDonalds is ok but it is always really busy and the drive thru takes forever. There is also 2 entrances to 1 drive thru which makes things confusing and gets people angry. They need to step it up a little. Its also a really tight squeeze through the drive thru and some vehicles wont even make it.
Came at 11:55pm and they were closed. The hours are suppose to be open till 1am on Sunday. Waited in the drive through for 5min and no one answered. The lights inside were off as well. Not the first time they close 1-2hrs ahead of the time listed on the site. They also dont offer sauce for chicken nuggets. You have to ask for it.
Workers are disgusting in there, never get the order right! I asked for a McMuffin without egg and they gave me egg. I then returned it saying you put egg on it and my son is allergic to egg. The guy told me sorry nothing I could do and shrugged his shoulders. They should get paid nothing, forget about raising minimum wage
Had to order twice and charged twice too with Uber eats brought to the wrong address I was charge twice I’m trying to call this McDonald’s McDonald’s to see if they can work something out with me being that the first order was left on the wrong address by Uber eats I had changed old address on my profile and was texting with the driver and he said OK he will bring it to my current address and he did not and left it at the old address I was tracking the driver and saw him at the old address immediately texted him and told him you’re at the wrong address we texted before you say you were bringing to the current address otherwise I would’ve canceled the order and he took a picture while he was still in front of the house and walked away even though I was telling him he was at the old address way before he left McDonald’s they don’t pick up the phone it’s busy for a hour I feelLike they left it off the hook so they don’t have to deal with customers
It was a Doordash delivery. A few of the items were wrong. Doordash and McDonalds did the typical finger pointing, but based on other experience I bet the problem was not McDonalds. Its very close, so I checked the directions just to see why the dasher took a circuitous route. I couldnt figure it out. As for the place itself, Ive been there before, its a decent McDonalds and stays open late.
Waited on the drive thru line more than 5 minutes just for 1 coffee which now they charge $1.62 when inside the sign says any drink for $1.00(plus tax). I used to pay $1.09. The McDonalds on Forest Ave and Richmond Ave still charge the lower price. Why not the one on Broadway and Forest Ave?

.Since my last review they have updated this location and im very impressed with the new look... too bad its the same lame slow dead speed..I just spent 14 mins in drive thru.. reach the pick up window only to watch the girls laughing and drinking what seems like coffee..then apologize for the wait time... sorry I couldnt give half Star.
The food is not that bad but the bathroom is disgusting and the dining area is ok but it could be better I honestly cant stand going there because of the people and am not talking about the staff am talking about the customers a lot of young kids with nasty mouths smh
Most nastiest food I had from the McDonald’s on forest ave in Staten Island I ordered from DoorDash yesterday and my burgers were undercooked my chicken sandwich’s were nasty too they put some type of mayonnaise on it which I don’t think it was mayonnaise it left a nasty taste in ur mouth
On Forest and Broadway the McDonalds this morning the girl was very rude she didnt make my iced coffee the way it should have been made and she just was not in the mood to help customers she dropped my sandwich out the window before I had a chance to grab it she gave me another one or was it nice about it at all

2022-04-28The food here is always decent and the staff always try to help, but this McDonalds is usually the prime destination of local fistfights. Local school kids are always fighting with each other and with staff, so sometimes they will even break glass windows and doors. When I was a kid my scooter was stolen from the front of the store as well.The staff have always done their best though, so I have a lot of respect for them! If you are going inside to order, the computers to place orders are usually all broken due to vandalism, so you will need to order at the front instead.

2022-04-30Avoid this McDonalds, I had never had an issue with any food business. Placed an order with the McDonalds app and got charged for it. When ready to pick up my order they Claim it never processed even after I showed them my bank account that I did get charge and the McDonalds app. Went back the following day to talk to a supervisor. She was rude and told me its my bank not McDonalds. When contacting my bank they told me the merchant process the payment so I walk out with no food and my money. Thank you McDonalds for losing a customer for life for under $20.

2022-04-18Very rude about me not wanting 2 wait 4 my food in the parking lot but at the window where Im suppose 2 wait!! I had 2 call number posted ( Erica) the owner I imagine 2 help with situation , they were really harassing me about moving talking about they r asking nicely! They even asked if I wanted my money back! They said I had a big order n it takes time I ordered 2 happy meals a nugget bundle n a cheeseburger n a small fries n 2 drinks! Go figure 🤔 They told me call Erica she would tell me the same bit she didnt she straightened them out!! They apologized but at that point I was so over it!!! I had already waited on line over 15min with only 4 cars in front of me n no cars behind me!!! Go figure 🤔 🙄 never again!

2022-06-09This McDonald’s is one of the dirtiest, most disgusting places I’ve very been too. First, the workers had music playing so loud that they were yelling at each other instead of just turning the music off. Second, the way they would speak to each other is like they were talking outside to there friends; cursing and in each other face. Third, No manager anywhere. Fourth, Garbage was on the tables and floors, and not one worker would clean it. Fifth, young teens are selling drugs inside and out of the bathroom doing transactions. Six, I managed to see all these things while I waited 7 mins for someone to take a simple order of three cookies. Corporate needs to do something about this McDonalds, an fire every worker in this establishment.

2022-03-04It’s ironic bc every owner/operator knows to up the staff during high peak periods but this one. Do not go here!!!!! They shut the lobby down all day and if you are going in store between 2-4 you have to order using mobile. I have called corporate bc they do not follow the standard Golden Arches rules at all. What I will say is the crew is amazing. Great hospitality- but after waiting an hour for your order that just does not cut it

2022-02-27In my opinion, this McDonalds on Arthur Kill Rd and Richmond Ave is the best one on SI. I have been to others, but this ones food is always hot and they are very courteous!!
