We went to MedMen and the staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I myself have visited other medical marijuana stores in the area, and this store is the best!!! Adam and the Store Manager Kelsey were amazing. Kelsey spent a lot of time with us. She did a lot of teaching and answered our questions ( we had lots). I look forward to returning to MedMen in the near future. Thank you to the amazing staff! I would recommend this store to family as well as friends.
I would like to say thank you to the staff at MedMen. Even during the trying times we’re in I am still impressed by the level of customer service and support I received. I’ve come to appreciate the consistency within the products and lines available. Despite my first negative experience in over a year, the staff (with marvelous professionalism) assisted me with my issue to my more than complete satisfaction. I can say with tremendous confidence I will remain a satisfied customer.The environment is very clean and I feel as though the atmosphere and color scheme is very calm and relaxing. The staff is always courteous and warm. I have yet to have an interaction with staff by phone email or in person where I was at a loss for information. Very knowledgeable staff be it products lines or dosing information.Thank you again for your help and assistance and thank you for continued professionalism especially now!
This is a very professional, clean and secure dispensary. They are the only company in the area that carries a specific type of tasteless sublingual drops that work miracles without the taste, smell or burning sensation that I have experienced with other drops. Improvements could be made by providing transparent information in regards to which cannabis strains are used in which products, as I have reacted poorly to the Harmony drops and there is no way to find out what strain caused this. I have also learned to call in advance to see if they have the exact product that I am looking for in stock as they seem to run out of the “nighttime” drops often. Despite the kinks that need to be worked out, I prefer their products over other products and the staff are always compassionate, considerate and welcoming.
I had a very nice experience at the Buffalo Med Men a few weeks back. I am new to the Medical Marijuana field. Jamie a manager took a lot of time with me to get me up to par on all the new information. She was so friendly and very knowledgeable. I had such a great experience.
Had a great experience, they have a wonderful knowledgeable staff. I had a consultation answered questions and was given great recommendations. They have a clean atmosphere and they were attentive to my needs. I was able to leave with products that help with sleeping, pain management, and they have been spot on. Currently using sleep drops works quickly on smallest dosage. Highly recommend 10% off first purchase. Will be returning in the future to have them fill my prescription again
I just placed an order online, and one of the reps from Medmen called and told me that my certificate and card were expired. I must have told the woman ten times that I renewed my certificate on May 2nd, and that I had my new certificate in my possession. She insisted that I did not have a current registration on file, and kept repeating herself in telling me that I needed to register with the state. I told her again that I did, and then she told me she was canceling my order. I tried reasoning with her and begged her not to cancel my order, because the product I wanted was almost out of stock. I often have to wait for product to go on sale due to very limited income sources, and this item was on sale and I needed it. The woman from Medmen hung up on me, and she was beyond rude. I had contemplated reordering from them anyhow, because the last time I bought a sale item, it expired shortly after I purchased it...but Medmen never told me that it was about to expire when I ordered it. I would highly recommend another local dispensary, because this place is a joke.
This place was so much better than I expected! I had absolutely zero experience with any sort of marijuana before except research I had done online, and these guys were beyond helpful. I called ahead to make sure I could bring my 2-year old and they said absolutely. From the receptionists to the pharmacists, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The receptionist and who I assume were the security guys even played hide and seek with my daughter while I checked out and they were SO understanding that she was a bundle of energy who did not want to sit still. Will definitely be back!
Visited Med Men The staff were great helpful with information and the store was just like most dispensary’s I’ve been to NewYork State has heavy taxes and rules witch is fine it’s expensive to expensive and I’m willing to pay for what I need and expect to get what I pay for I purchased an 1/8th of flower figure it would be an 1/8th,right? but the entire package (the container you’re flower comes in) was 3.36 grams didn’t get what I paid for it was under weight by 2 grams pretty much got ripped off not happy about it they should sell proper weight for the price they charge .
I came in today not knowing what I was walking into. I was greeted at the door, and was signed in immediately. Everyone was very polite and attentive. I had a lot of questions, and have to say, they were really patient with me. Thank you! The staff answered all of my questions, and I have a better understanding on how this all works. Yup! I even asked about their knowledge or education. There were employees that have some medical background, and everyone receives a good amount of on site training, and receives new updates on the products. The on site Pharmacist fills my script for me, and the whole process took maybe a half hour.Thank you for all your help!Judi
As a new patient I was impressed with the friendly staff and personal one to one meeting with the pharmacist willing to answer any questions you had. I did not have this experience at the Pharma location where I did not even talk to a pharmacist and felt more like just a number. I was happy to see MedMen does NOT use alcohol in their tinctures and their prices are a little cheaper. I dont use the vaping method so I cannot comment on the issues others seem to be having with that. They dont seem to have as many ratio options but I am hopeful to get some good results from what was dispensed. From what Ive seen so far its a good place with a nice staff.
LACK OF CONSISTENCY I have to write this for my roommate due to the past 2 days of Med Men giving her such anxiety, so my friend goes to this location quite a bit, spends over 500 dollars a month with this company, never had an issue. Skip to this week. Received numerous phone calls that the pens would be in, came all the way out there to be told that would have to contact doctor, whole story seemed sketchy because you should be aloud a refill especially during COVID-19, offered other pens but not the direct strain. Doctor finally called, called today, and what do you know they are totally out of the pens. All this for nothing. Doctor was contacted and today they knew they were in the total wrong. Basic story; this company is not constant. Ive heard from other people the pens die. They look like a total rip off for only being .3. Women on the phone was so mean to my friend who needs her medication to basically live that she had to call off work 2 days in a row due to this companies negligence. Take your business somewhere else, they never know when they are getting stock, the pens dont last long for the price, seeing what my friend went through will also make me switch away from MedMen. They get their products when they are out (usually out, was out personally for me without the COVID19 even being a factor) I feel so bad for anyone who really needs their meds and playing phone tag and driving back and forth. Ive personally have visited their location in LA, and let me assure you, this location is NOTHING like that. The employees even exposed personally to myself how the pens are made in China, their disposal ones. Very very inconstant location, speaking on my friends behalf that a company shouldnt be playing with someones meds, not even knowing when they are even going to restock. Save your time, go to Verilife, they get most of their products from there anyway. Especially during a pandemic? How absolutely terrible. Better off honestly going to Verilife, & Medmen will also tell you they receive their products from there. Super confusing and misleading! Terrible customer service too they hung up on me before after calling due to their disposable pen dying on me within just going to the mall...... sorry if this was super long but I cant put into words how absolutely disgusted hearing from my friend all this, and just throwing my personal experience on top, visit Medmen in LA not this location!
This place is terrible. Obviously made by people more interested in the money that either the medical aspect or providing good products. More expensive than the other shops. No delivery service. No ability to call in a refill for quick pick up. Poorly educated staff. Rude staff. Smallest product selection of the dispensaries in Buffalo.The only thing they have going for them is a flashy storefront and later hours than the other dispensaries.I purchased a tincture that was too weak to provide a benefit. Most tinctures Ive seen before are 10 times as potent.The disposable pens provide way less product than advertised. I was told 30 doses but got around 10-15.They have very small selection. Despite all other dispensaries in the state having access to vape cartridges, this place says they have no vendor and dont know when they will be getting a new one.Recently I got into a discussion with the staff regarding the comparative effects of THC and CBD. I was astounded to hear the bizarre information being given by the staff. When I expressed that I think they might have the information backward they said they worked there so they knew best.What a complete waste of time. I may go back for a sale, but this place has lost my business otherwise.
Tried calling the store multiple times to actually see how this works as Im new to using dispensaries in NY. And they never answer the phone. With some of these reviews stating the tanks dont work and with them not answering I dont know if I would even come here.Edit: I did go there eventually due to it being the closest place to where I was. Unfortunately it wasn’t very good at all. They only had a handful of products and i am only interested in the vape pens and they only had a few that were no more than 40 hits for 60 bucks. I personally wouldn’t go here again. Not to mention they didn’t accept card at that moment and I had to go to the ATM inside of there to pay. It just wasn’t a good experience what so ever.
I used to be very happy and felt comfortable at the MedMen store when it was located further down Main St. I thought that the flow of picking up my medication worked well and it was all-together an enjoyable stop in my day. The employees were/are friendly and there to help and even if there was a backup, you could rest comfortably while waiting for your prescription.However, I just do not understand the need for the layout of the new store. As I commented when I first saw it, it is indeed very close in style and layout to their California locations now, yet MedMen failed to realize that NY and CA have two very different uses for their store. One state has passed marijuana for recreational use and our state has not.There is no need for multiple Apple tables, as I call them, to display the same five products. There are no waiting room seats or anywhere to sit comfortably while you wait for your prescription.The entire store is now decorated in merchandise that has nothing to do with medicinal marijuana, which I understand you want to promote your brand, but again--we are a medicinal state, not recreational (or at least, not yet) and the clientele here have different needs.Theres no room for privacy, which we did have at the old location and that was nice because you could chat with the pharmacist about what is working for you and whats not. I am less inclined to do so out in the general public where others could hear my conditions.And the check-in at the door? Its literally next to the door, which means if theres more than one customer, they are awkwardly crowded near large glass doors that I dont think make much sense in Buffalo, NY come winter time.Also, it has now been a good handful of times that Ive made the drive out only to find out that the NY state system is down. No, this is not MedMens fault--but I fail to believe that with the numerous emails I receive from the company or their place on WeedMaps, that there is nowhere they could post this information for their customers. So, if you go here, always call ahead of time and hope someone picks up.As for the employees, theyre usually great. The store move itself hasnt changed that. I used to see the same faces at the old location and now I feel like I do not see them anymore (especially the pharmacists, who were always so sweet and nice).I wish MedMen had thought of these large differences before adapting their brand layout to Buffalo, NY and its current needs.
Stopped by today , Saturday, at 1 pm and as I walk in ,two pharmacists I’ve dealt with before we’re walking out .Little did I know NOW as of this week the place closes for lunch !!I ended up having to wait another hour to pick up less than I wanted because your supply is terrible.In the future I guess I’ll plan better but you don’t even have the fact you close at lunch mentioned in your front door hours posting !!!Your product is good and staff excellentBut your stock supply is terrible and management of dispensary SUCKS ....There is no reason I can get a better selection ,None at all ....Just remember, the customers now will refer the future customersAND WITH RECREATIONAL COMINGThat means lots of future referrals
Easy check in and pharmacist consultation. It was a relaxed atmosphere.Best products around, Columbia Care wishes it could be like MedMen, as a returning patient I felt like if they knew me for ever. Amazing Service! The staff is super cool and educated, overall a good experience. Product variety is vast and prices are similar to Columbia Care, but, the quantity is bigger & the quality is better. I have visited Columbia Care and do not recommend it, their products are being diluted more than they say, the amount of alcohol in my medicine from my last purchase was so high it burned my gums badly. I rather take the 1hr and a half trip to MEDMEN IN BUFFALO NY! THANKS MEDMEN 😊
This place used to be patient focused and have a decent selection.Not sure when the company decided to stop focusing on the patient.New place feels like an apple store or a fish tank. No privacy. No regard for HIPAA.I also never received a response to my request as to why this company removed all menus for what they have available.Who is going to waste hours showing up here to find out they are out of all products?
I really like the friendly caring atmosphere at MedMen. They really take the time to make sure you understand everything before you walk out the door. They have the products I like, oil, not tincture. They have changed my life by getting me off so many medicines that werent great for me with the medical marijuana.
Excellent customer service with a knowledgeable staff. They have their own products and also carry some of pharmaCannis products. Some of their products are a little cheaper than the other dispensers as well. Highly recommended if you have your medical marijuana prescription
The staff are so friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the front desk are always so kind and welcoming. The location is clean and modern and I feel secure and safe.As for the different forms of medication... the oils are 100% pure....no additives... and I like having the ability to get a sativa blend because I dont feel fatigue but it gives me good pain relief and quiets my muscle Fasciculations. I recently purchased the new Awake Vape pen and my only complaint is it doesnt last very long. I use the oil 3x a day and use the vape for breakthrough pain and twitches. I am still learning what dose will be effective and although its expensive... I hope to see the prices come down or insurance companies and comp carriers made to pay for it like any other form of medication.... And these issues are not the fault of the manufacturer. These laws and regulations need to be changed in order to allow more people the ability to have access to this amazing miracle plant. It is the only medication I have tried (and they tried many on me) that actually Quiets my twitching and spasticity.... And its because of companies and the people producing these medications against all odds... That I finally have the ability to get relief without horrible side effects.I will continue to support this industry and this group of people at Medmen. The quality of their products is great. Looking forward to more options, lower prices and progressive changes to the restrictive laws in NY.Thanks for all your help MedMen!!
The personnel are all very professional and friendly. The oils are the clearest and the best I have ever used. They do have issues with their pens but whenever I had a problem they were more than willing to rectify the situation. Thank-you to everyone at the S. Union Rd. location! Keep up the good work.👍🏻
The absolute worst experience ever. I have been there no less than 5 times and have only walked out with product ONCE. i show up, their credit card machine is broke, i show up, they are out of product, i show up and they have some kind of lame excuse EVERY SINGLE TIME. they are SO RUDE! You got this guy at the front desk who cops an attitude with you every time you go in. Asks if you have an appointment - you have 2 people sitting in your lobby.Last time I went, i walk in, he says have you been here before, I say yes, and then he says - oh well i have to tell you we are out of this and this, no wait, i think we are out of that and that, and so i ask, well what the mg dosage of this product, and he says and i quote i dont know dude Im a cop, just sit down and ill have a pharmacist talk with you. first of all, im not your DUDE, you may call me Mr. Ferrari, sir, or Chris. Second of all, i DO NOT like the idea of an undercover cop sitting at the front desk - all he does is talk with some other asshat aimlessly walking around the lobby wearing a suit like he is important. Let me clue you guys in - youre not fooling anyone with the suit - you have a toxic environment that is not friendly and you have sick patients looking for medication - be professional, i dont want to listen to you gossip with your coworkers while Im sitting to meet with someone.So anyways, i get in there to the pharmacist, and they say - oh well we are out of this this this and this (completely different than what the cop at the front desk told me.) This is where i snapped. i told them that every time i come in i leave empty handed. and the girl was just like - oh well - its a blessing we get to even do this. and i said no its not a blessing, its a law now - youre a business and youve been open a year and a half and there is absolutely no excuse to have your dispensary running like this. she shrugged her shoulders. some old guy in a lab coat said - we wish it would run a little more smoothly here. SO RUN IT SMOOTHLY! medmen is why i am not renewing my card for a second year.I can assume that every other location is probably awesome and nice, but the staff at this one, are just awful. just plain awful. really terrible vibe from this place.do yourself a favor and go to pharmacannis - they ALWAYS have product, and everyone there is SO NICE and they really take their time to answer questions - they are not pretentious or dressed in suits like a bunch of douche canoes. much better vibe - feels like a professional environment, not like medmen.
I LOVED the upgrade from the original location. The original location was like visiting Men in Black head quarters. This new location was lovely. I felt like it was shopping for jewelry the way the tables where set up. The ladies where ABSOLUTELY the sweetest. Esp Sonnie. She’s the cutest. I was babbling (as you can see) lol and she was so patient, entertained my “crazy” and laughed at my corny jokes lol. But the entire vibe was GREAT! 💕
They are always out of stuff and have a very small selection and do not carry vape cartridges only pens. Verilife is way better as they carry a wide selection of products and vape cartridges. Vape cartridges are only available by MedMen in Florida which makes no sense to me at all and I dont see how they stay in business with being out of everything and having very little to offer.
Faulty pre loaded pens, the cartridges dont pull right either. I wont be back. I called the store and they said I could return the items, but the chick Destiney on the phone also said sometimes the preloaded pen batteries dont work um okay, sounds like a KNOWN issue that you are now wasting my time and gas money to return to the store. What world are you living in where you think you will retain a customer who spends so much on your product only to have NONE of the items work similar to anything they have had at another positive dispensary. I will not return to med men, store looks nice and all but I care about the product. You are selling items with known issues and LEAVING IT ON YOUR CUSTOMERS TO DO QUALITY CONTROL RETURNS. Shame on you.
Bought a pen, I used it probably 3-4 times and now it wont work at all. I called the store and was given the option of driving back up to buffalo (45 min away) for them to look at the pen and see if they can fix it and may or may not give me a replacement. I think $81 for a small cartridge should work until the medicine is gone. So now Im out the money and dont have the extra $80 to go to another place and get more. New York needs to do some serious work with their products and dispensaries.

Id say average wait time is around 10-15 minutes. (Hours: 10AM-6PM/6-Days a Week.) Very Private; You Go in a Separate, Individual Room; Door Closed, While You Go Over Your Options. This Place has an Actual- Cannabis Pharmacist, White-Coat, that Knows a lot about the Products. And How They Work in your Body, with the Current Meds You Take. Also They Have Excellent Knowledge On: Dosages; Titration; the Best Ways & Times of The Day to Take the Marijuana Products- As it Relates to the Condition Youre Taking Them For. They Dont try to Up-Sell you on anything in your consultation. Prices Are A Lot Cheaper When it Comes to the Pill Form, anything in Capsules! And on all Other Forms- Fair, in Relation to a Controlled Marketplace. Better Product Variety than: The Other 2 Local Places. The Purchasing & Buying of your Products is Very Nice & Quick, they also have an ATM in the office. I think you can use your debit card, with the pin # box only. Im pretty sure NO credit cards or checks, obviously cash is welcome. They will call or email you when a product comes in, if youre waiting for one. All Staff Are Very Kind! I Like That They Have 3 Different Areas Where There Are Shelfs Of: Swag, Vaporizers, CBD-Like Candy & Stuff, Sunglasses, Nice Stuff to Buy. I love their stuff but just like every other dispensary in Nys they charge double what California would charge it’s not right because they actually get them really cheap that’s why I stopped shopping there but I do love the staff and their products but they just charge too much do research before shopping there, there are other dispensaries around that sell the same products for cheaper
I was diagnosed with ptsd anxiety and didnt want totake medicines that have side effects and are addictive , my doctor wroteme a script snd i was able to get my medical marijuana license , i go to med men for cbd oil , you go into the biulding and give them your car license and medical marijuana card , they check your doctors script for what you are able to get for your condition you can pick outwhat product you want , a pharmacist sits down with you and explains the different products and how to use them and how much to take , they are very pleasant, informative andtake all the time youneed to understand the way the products work, you wait in a waiting roomand they call you to window to pick up and pay for your order, there are several gaurds watching over rooms due to the seriousness of the product and keep the place safe due to the factits a state run medical dispensary, the producti am using is an oil called wellness it works well to stop my anxiety symptoms and helps keep me calm and sleep well , no medications and great sleep , healing fast! Dont g ive up on products take a week or two to really start kicking in ! Itsa fantastic professionally run place and they take the time to help you
Felt more like visiting local holding center than a dispensary. Cold atmosphere and little to no pharmacist guidance when it comes to helping you decide which mixture would best suit your bodys needs. If you know about Cannabis and know the products this is your place. If you are new to this legal treatment I would travel a little more north near UB for a friendly, educating, safe with one on one counseling and employees who care.
Do not waste your time with this company. Ive been there 4 times and walked away empty handed now each time for several reasons including they dont have the product available. They dont return phone calls and I have zeroIdea why an appointment is necessary there is never any customers there. They probably hate the place too. I plan to be on medical marijuana for life. They just lost a ton of money from me. I will not be back.
The vap pens definitely have less hits per pen. But the quality of the product is 10 times better in my eyes then pharmacannis. Lots of people complain about the small amount of oil but a true veteran cannabis consumer knows when it comes to the medical benefit quality is much more important then quantity. I went to pharmacannis for quite some time once I went to medmen never went back. But I do think the vap pen cost us contact little excessive. A reasonable price should be closers to 60.00$
I got a sleep vape pen today and I was wondering if anyone can give me an answer. When I opened my my pen the cartridge is only half full is that right? Also I was putting back in the plastic tube it case with and the bottom lights up when inserting it, I put the plug back on plastic tube and when the vape cig moves up and down in it the light comes on, like I’m hitting it. So my concern is, is the vape pen burning inside the plastic tube it comes in, because it would be burning my oil and running out my battery. Any advice is great. If someone from medmen could answer this that’d be great!!!
Ive been very happy with this location in general, however at this writing, on a Monday, their flower inventory consists of only 4 products as compared with the inventory at the Syracuse location is much better and complete as usual.So theyre essentially OOB today in the flower category.Very puzzling.

2022-04-15I always find very helpful people to manage my MMJ needs. Store manager Kelsey was willing to spend time with me to discuss the amazing staff. Most recently I met with Matthew and Alida. Always willing to assist, answer questions and guide me step by step on the NYS Office of Cannabis Management glitches. I always look forward to seeing Jessica when I am in the dispensary. She is a wealth of information. Nice clean dispensary however we need a location in the southern tier.*wink wink *nudge nudge 😊

2022-02-05Excellent product availability and knowledge of products from salespeople. The pharmacist lacks understanding of what people need. I was purchasing to show my grandfather (the patient) this medicine and clear up the huge stigma around cannabis. I bought isolate, mints, and topicals. I realize he won’t use all of these as we’re looking for the right medicine. When it came to raw bud, she asked me a slew of questions in regards to him smoking it. I felt like a criminal for my first experience here. There are multiple ways to use raw cannabis I explained. The point was simply exposure. To show him where the medical cannabis comes from. I explained that he won’t try any of it if he can’t see where it comes from. He was firm and stubborn on that fact.Prior to this one and only experience, cannabis helped with my aging grandfather and his wellness. This one experience has prevented him from using cannabis again.

I called MedMen & spoke to customer representative Miss Kelly .She was very patient & clearly explained how I might be able to make it work again . She told me to call her back if it didn’t . I followed her instructions& now it’s working l Hooray ! Miss Kelly is a great asset to MedMen Buffalo & I would like to request a pay raise for Miss Kelly .

2021-10-29I cannot speak highly enough about the customer service at this place! Every single employee is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, informative and just know their stuff! My most recent visit I had the privilege of being greeted and checked in by a Michael C. who immediately found my profile and made suggestions and informed me of the specials/sales/promotions that they had going on and for how long. Every question I asked was answered in a way that made me feel like I was speaking to someone who knew what they were talking about and explained anything I didnt know about or had further questions on completely. Upon checking out, I was taken care of by a lovely young woman, Jessica N. Jess was so patient with me, as I did have a few more questions during my transaction! She was extremely kind, considerate, helpful and just made me feel very confident in my prescription purchase. I was having a not-so-great day before stopping into MedMen and because of the amazing and friendly staff, mainly Michael and Jessica, I left in a much better mood! They may just be doing their job, but for people like me, it means more than they may know. Thank you again Michael & Jess and every single one of the MedMen staff.

2022-01-27Decided to stop in and pick up. Presented ID and MMJ card, placed my first ever order with them and waited.Now apparently after the wait of 10 minutes or so, the pharmacist proceeds to let an employee know I have hit my limit and cannot be sold what I need, only what they want to sell me based on their arbitrary limit (This has never been an issue at Verilife over the course of having my card and using their services). Mind you, the state of NY allows me a 60 day supply, but med men does not. The pharmacist also had her own wisecrack about how flower in the NY program is for vaporization only, as there was a stack of branded lighters sitting at the register to purchase.I made my purchase of what they would allow to take advantage of the 20% off first timer deal, however I wouldnt bother stepping foot in here again even if they work out their discrepancy between the state limits and their own. The pharmacist should also probably get hip to the current guidelines released by the OCM.Take the drive to Verilife instead.
