The registration was a little awkward taking photos and filling out questions on phone in the freezing cold but all together I was waiting for less than an hour which was not bad at all the staff is very respectful and Courteous. They came out of building every 5-10 minutes calling patients inside and making sure everyone is registered. Great experience do not let long line Intimidate you.
MedRite was awesome! I was in NY on business and was not feeling well, from the time I walked in to leaving the front desk staff, MA & Doctor were very friendly and took great care of me.The facility is very clean and the registration process is very easy, my RX was sent to the CVS right on the same steer and that was a breeze as well. Their care really made a difference, especially while being out of town, feeling sick and not knowing where to go for good care 💯
I almost never leave reviews but my trip to medrite was just so outstandingly pleasant i just had to! Eva and Daniel were sooo sweet and took care of me so lovingly. I had to go in for an extremely infected tattoo and Eva was the first person who sees it and doesn’t go silent and the “ewww” look which i received from another nurse who popped in LOL but eva took one look at it and was ever so empathetic m, and disclosed a similar situation that she had gone through too. She immediately put me at ease and sent me home with more than enough gauze for my poor arm :’) I was having a really rough week and this just lifted me up. Thank you so much Medrite!
Travelled from the UK to New York and needed a COVID PCR test before boarding cruise ship. MedRite, based on 42nd street, were a 20 minute walk from our hotel so very convenient. The staff were very professional and courteous. Although there was a bit of a hiccup with my husbands test they made sure that it was redone and results provided very quickly.Would absolutely recommend MedRite and would definitely use again if in New York. Thanks so much to everyone at MedRite 42nd Street, New York city !!
Long line up but worth the wait. You get your results quick no matter what one you go in for. My fiancée and I had a rapid pcr done because of being scammed through an nyc pop up tent. We did pay a lot but had to get home. The young lady at the front desk (I forget her name) who would direct the line was so kind and understanding to us. She realized we were so stressed with a flight to catch in 6 hours and still no pcr results… she told us to go eat and come back and she will have our papers printed. Low and behold she did and we made it back home. Thank you again, I will be recommending MedRite for pcr testing for travellers!
I dropped by while I was in NYC to get my PCR test to fly. The staff were super polite and helped me through the process. The line isn’t too long, I just registered online to save me some time and got my results via text so I didn’t have to worry. Any issues, you could always call in, they are super nice and efficient. I made all my siblings and friends go here as well since I had a great experience.
Needed a rapid antigen test for work - Had my results within the hour. No deep nasal swab, I was really nervous but this test is nothing compared to the deep one, so no need to stress! $100 with insurance, 225 out of pocket. I went Sunday 10/4 at 1:40pm. I was one of 3 ppl on line, waited about 10 minutes, then another 5-10 to get called in. Test took maybe 2 minutes. Place is clean, staff was really friendly and helpful. I registered the night before but scan the barcode on the door for a FULL registration which youll need to do also. Clean bathroom too. Very happy I chose this location! They call you with your results, and then send the email fyi.
Its unfair for the already registered clients to have to wait in line & watch those who are just submitting their credentials to go ahead of the line that goes all the way to 10th Ave .Its been 3 hours waiting on the COVID testing line already without seeing anyone and Ive been registered since July to this Medrite.Really unfair
I understand they are busy and didn’t mind the 1.5 hour wait to get tested but i took a rapid test 24 hours ago and still have not received the results. I call and they say the results are in but they can’t see them and i need to either wait (they have no idea how long) or walk back over to the clinic to get a print out. I’m sick and probably positive and they are telling me to go outside and expose other people. Insane! Go somewhere else for your rapids because here, it’s definitely not rapid
Very efficient and organized process to get folks tested for the rapid or PCR test (whether you are a walk-in or have an appointment). Even under pressure, the staff maintained their cool, patience, professionalism in a very compassionate and dignified manner.Thank you everyone for your services is such a very challenging time we are all experiencing.
Very long line I have been waiting 1hour and thirty minutes for a D.O.T. The covid 19 is moving faster about 45 minutes. They have someone coming out every 20 mins. Its very cold to be standing outside. Make sure you layer up. They dont seem to take into consideration that it freezing outside .
I was on a work trip and wasnt feeling well so decided to play it safe and get tested for COVID before flying home the next day. I found MedRite on Google Maps, quickly pre-registered, and once I arrived I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I had my results texted to me less than two hours later.
Yesterday, I waited 4 hours under the rain in line to get tested for my flight (PCR), which was in 2 days. They initially said it’d take 36 to 72 hrs and asked me to call the lab to accelerate it. Now, after 24 hrs, called the lab and lab even doesn’t have my name registered in their system yet and now they say it takes 3-5 days (2 days more than expected). That means i have to go somewhere else and get tested again and pay $250 to have the result in 2 hrs to make it to my flight. While I value the effort the staff are taking during this busy time and I am really thankful to them, I strongly believe that the management is inefficient, incompetent, and irresponsible; they are obviously understaffed and disorganized, putting a heavy load on the staff shoulders and making customers frustrated. An update on this comment: I NEVER RECEIVED THE TEST RESULTS !!!
I had such an incredibly positive experience at MedRite Urgent Care at the Mid-Town West facility. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Specifically, Sierra, who went above and beyond in fielding my questions and making sure I understood exactly what was happening at all times. I would highly recommend coming here for any and all medical needs.
We went to Medrite Midtown West on 2nd of Jan 2022 and lining up about 5hours to get tested. We came at 8:45am and got tested at 2:00pm. We are family of 4 and we did both PCR antigen and PCR RT. We got the result for the PCR antigen very quick, but never recevied the PCR RT result eventhough we tried to come to the clinic again and was informed to raise our issue to their email, we contact them via live chat, but never resolved until now. They say the result can took 72hrs, but we never received it untill now. We need the PCR RT for the international flight and we decided to pay another test in JFK airport which only need 1.5hour to get the result. Not recommended to come to Medrite. Very disappointing.
After waiting for 2 hours for a rapid test, i never received my results. its now been over 16 hours after my test and i still have not received them. i put myself on the call back list, sent 2 missing result forms through the website, and got no calls or emails back. i only could chat with the online live chat and i was always told that my results were not finalized.Update a week later - I never received the results even after following up with support team multiple times, so I’m guessing my test was lost.
Very nice, professional and friendly environment! Every day they are seeing a lot of patienrs, but everything goes fast and smoothly. Ive been there several times, and last time had to come at the end of the day.Jaclyn was working at the front desk alone, it was still very busy. But she handled it so professional and with patience. It was very pleasant experience!
Let me start by saying I had the most pleasant experience, I remember my Medical Assistant who took care of me Monday, March 28,2022 @approximately between 10-11am but sorry to say I forgot her name so pleasent and nice and did her job well she told me today was her last day and its a shame because shes what patients need Caring, Understanding, and very Knowledgeable I hope she continues her professional I just want to say MED RITE THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU GET A FIVE STARS FROM ME ⭐⭐⭐🌟⭐😉
This MedRite Urgent care is amazing, I got here at 11:20, finished the electronic paperwork by 11:30, they called my name immediately and had me tested within 5 mins, the doctor saw me by 11:45 and then they did my labs and Im out the door by 12. Honestly the fastest and most professional urgent care experience Ive ever had.
Arrived at 9:30 on January 3 to get a PCR test for an international flight. After waiting over three hours outside, in below-freezing temperatures, and following a system so convoluted that it made sense only to the management, I was finally tested. I felt weirdly fortunate, because they came outside at that very moment to announce that they had no more test kits, which left several dozen frozen, aggravated people in an even worse situation. I paid 225 dollars in order to receive my results in three hours. Medrite processed the payment with my bank in less than 5 minutes, yet 7 hours have passed, and I have no results. Ive called Medrite and the other lab they told me to contact if I didnt receive anything. They told me I wasnt in their database. So, now my flight is in jeopardy. I cant check in, nor can I cancel, because I dont know if I can fly.. I cant book housing in my destination or in NY. I am also 225 poorer. (Which is a criminal sum to charge for less than 5 minutes of actual contact with staff, especially when they dont even process your test). I acknowledge that these are difficult times, however, businesses do not have the right to treat clients this way, and price-gouge on top of it. Absolutely shameful.
Fast and efficient staff. Went into the office to get tested for the flu and covid. Nina and Kristy helped me get settled while trying to maintain the crowd. Franky the medical assistant and Danny the PA were super helpful. I wanted to get my flu shot that day, but because my symptoms were bad I was advised to wait. I felt good about my decision and was told I could come back once I felt better and my tests came out negative. My PCR came back super fast and I was able to get an email of my negative result so I could go back to work.
First, you have to go with an open mind and Patience. My daughter and I went to MedRite just before and after thanksgiving. The lines were long but moved fast. Once inside the staff was very fast and Professional. The facility was bright and very clean. Once We were tested and done. The staff Notified us within 20 to 30 minutes.
Went for a COVID shot and was advised they do not accept walk-ins after waiting over one hour on line. The NYC vaccine site indicated walk ins are available, and the Medrite site does not mention requirements for a reservation. Saving grace is at least the staff were pleasant about it.
So I visited Medirite yesterday I wasn’t feeling well and I went there last min in hopes of seeing a doctor and my expectations were fulfilled beyond what I expected the staff is very professional and fast pace working they tackled the problem came up with a resolution , I was in and out in under 10 mins , I enjoyed my visit .!!!
Quick and efficient Covid testing. Other than a slight confusion as to which line to stand in, after the wait, got me in and quickly did the test. 3 hours later, got a text with the results. (Yes, lines are long, but they are everywhere right now.)Everyone working was polite and nice even though many of the customers, not so much.
I wish there was a zero stars option for the group of people working here during my visit. I arrived well before their closing hour, but was immediately turned down because, we arent seeing any more patients today, our provider has already seen over 400 today. Yes, that was the answer I received from a Healthcare professional. Clearly providing the care New Yorkers need is NOT their priority. Instead, it sounds like the doctor was too tired from being busy. Get a clue...its a pandemic and you signed up for this. The
Lack of queue management meant people were cutting the line saying they registered online (when it didn’t matter if you registered online you still had to wait on the same line - that’s what the security guard said). They use Empire City Laboratories (Brooklyn), and my COVID test took 5 days. No idea why it took 3 days to deliver the specimen, and another 2 for the lab to run it (acceptable). The lab said they didn’t have my mobile number so they couldn’t send me the results (I called MedRite to confirm my info previously). I’m going with CityMD next time.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE!Website set up to allow bookings, reserved time slot for covid test then when you turn up the line is >2hours long and the fact I hav a reservation makes no difference.....A reputable place would remove the option to reserve spaces when theyre fully booked. They also proudly state a wait time on their site but when you get there and ask people at the front of the queue theyve been waiting 3-4 times that length. The use of false advertising to lure people quite far out of town is deceptive and now Im expected to either wait 2 hours in line of endanger my family by not getting tested. Its too late now to go elsewhere without a similarly long wait time.
I received my vaccinations here back in August and it was a great experience but I came here again almost 2 weeks ago all the way from NJ where I live because it is really difficult to get appts or its just plain ridiculous that some places are charging you for these Covid tests, and I stood on an extremely long line from before 2:00 and finally walked out of there at 6:20pm. It also happened to be one of the coldest days of the week and I was shaking and felt like my toes were frost bitten. It was really sad to stand on a line for so long and then even after you registered, filled out your document for the covid test you still had to go back outside and wait even longer to be called again. One of the saddest things I heard was when one of the nice ladies working there said let a few people inside to sit down and the man at the front desk said no let them stay outside because he dont want to catch Covid. How sad and unprofessional was that to say? and believe me none of us want to catch Covid but its really hard not to these days smh. I will still go there but I think they need a better system to speed things along. Everyone stood on the same line, it didnt matter if it was your first time, you didnt live in the country, or you had an appt. Everyone had to suffer!!!
I came there in a real emergency situation, but they dont care. They just shut the door in front of a patient who needed urgent care, the lady told me come at 8am tomorrow. I hope the owner of this establishment reads this - you made a perfect business for making money, but you dont care about people. Very sad.
I understand that this time of the year is the busiest season with a lot of people trying to get COVID-19 tests for their holiday plans, but I can’t believe I’m still waiting for rapid test result even though it’s been over 26 hours since I visited this center (28 hours including 1.5-2hr wait time). When I called the center last night after 5 hours have passed, they told me that I should expect to receive the result by next morning. I called them again today at noon, and this time they said that they’ll send the results by EOD today, but I still haven’t received a single text or email from them. What’s the point of getting a rapid test if the results aren’t going to be available quickly? I’m not gonna bother trying to call them again since that itself has 20-40min wait due to call volume…
Got two Covid Tests done here, the nurse, Sierra, was nothing short of amazing and made the whole process super smooth and made sure everything was handled professionally and answered all my questions. The office space was fine and front desk was helpful as well. Highly recommended. Quick turnaround time as well.
Got here on Sunday around 12pm. There was a little wait maybe 15-20 min for the first line to re-register after doing so online. Then when that line is up, you get to the receptionist and sign a form then you are told to wait on the 2nd line. That line was another wait maybe 10 min and then you are let inside the building to wait for testing. Maybe 10 min. And then the swab for COVID. Medical staff was pretty awesome.
A couple of hours ago, I learned that I was exposed to COVID this past weekend. While I feel fine, I wanted to get a rapid test done ASAP.I arrived during their operating hours and was informed that they are not taking any more patients today. I informed them of my exposed status, and they did not seem to care in the least. For an urgent care center, they dont seem to give af about anyone but themselves getting home. I did not receive any care nor was it urgent. Perhaps they should change their name to MedWrong We Dont Care.
The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the front desk people are a bit abrupt. Feels sad not to give all stars because the real people, the doctors and nurses are just amazing. So caring and responsive. If the front desk would just improve their behavior just a bit it would be perfect!
Not very friendly for people who are just sick and need to see a doctor. I’ve had to wait in line for 2 hrs to then go inside 3 mins to get registered even though I registered online, then I was told I had to wait AGAIN outside in line.I’m pretty sure any doctor would be telling me not to be sitting outside in the cold with my sickness- but guess what…. I haven’t been able to see a doctor, and the 2nd line has not moved in 40mins to go in to get medical help.
Stood in rain and cold for over 2.5 hours (which is fine), for a RAPID test. Its ok that the results maybe delayed by a couple of hours... however, I did not receive my result till............67 hours later!!!! And Im not able to open the attachment to see result anyway because they use the type of Zip files which is recognized as malware and blocked by most malware detectors.
Went for Covid Testing arrived 10 minutes before 8am, and there were a couple of people already ahead. The staff works super fast and with care. I was in and out within 5 minutes once I got to the front of the line. Definitely recommend it more than CityMD!! Thank you guys!!!
I have been to different locations and it was mostly good. This week I have tried getting vaccine twice, but due to unqualified stuff was sent back both times. I stopped by in the morning to check if I need to make an appointment and was told, I dont and I can come back anytime before 6PM. Once I got there lady at the reception told me I should have made an apointment and I need to come back next day. I made an apointment next day on Medrite website, once I got there same person told me I should have made an apointment on NYC Heath and now they are out of the doses. While I told her she didnt tell me that the day before the only said there is nothing she can do. This is very upsetting as I had to make changes to my work schedule twice, I lost time and still didnt to get a shot due to incompetence of the staff. Medrite needs to teach their team how to do their jobs and how to comunicate with the patients
Did the online registration and booked a 3pm time slot before I showed up for my PCR test at the clinic. The online wait times are fairly accurate for the most part, I waited about 25 minutes as stated on the site. The test itself was quick, easy (less than 2mins) and I was told to get my patient code from the front desk (though Im not exactly sure what the purpose was). I had to call the next morning (8am) to get my results and have them email it to me for my flight back to Canada. Overall fairly straightforward process to get a free PCR test for air travel.
It was disappointing, I spent 225$ for a rapid PCR test for a flight, they told me they would email me the results, I kindly expressed my urgency and gave my info to 2 front desk persons. Unfortunately no one got back to me on the results. When I called, no ones picked up. Wasted money and no refund :(. Very sad.
Walked in on a Monday night to get a rapid test and was told to register online so I did. I confirmed with the front desk that my registration all showed up. They confirmed it, told me to fill out the rapid test form and to wait in the waiting area. I was called in to get my test done, which took literally 20 seconds. I called the next day because I hadn’t gotten my results. Both times I called, the call center couldn’t get in touch with this clinic. I called again the next day and was finally told the clinic didn’t have me in their system at all. This is such a mess. I will never go here again.
This place is AWFUL, go anywhere else but here. You get tested here (if you’re lucky), they never update your results on their portal. Instead you have to go through a long wait on hold over the phone to get someone to send you results— They could be open and with one hour left of business and will turn you away because they want to have a clear path to go home early. These workers are awful and don’t care about you if you’re in need. No one forced anyone to work here but they decide and make the choice to be nasty to people that show up in need of testing— or help for that matter. Shame on them.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I sent my elderly parents to this clinic to get some vaccines a few days ago and until this day they have been raving about the front desk girl lesly and how much she helped them , my parents do not speak English and she translated and helped with all the paperwork . I feel at ease knowing my parents are in the hands of true professionals and I dont have to take time off work to assist them , Thank you medrite team .
I love the fast and friendly service! From the receptionist to the nurses/medical assistants, the staff at MedRite are really friendly and make you feel comfortable. I needed to get a medical exam and Dr. Platzman was really friendly and made my entire experience much better than most places I have been to in the city. I would highly recommend!
The facility was spotless, the young lady at the front desk was helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. The young lady inside the office where the test was taken (Eula) and the young man who took my test were equally wonderful and put me at ease right away. Everyone in the facility was professional yet personable. I would recommend MedRite Urgent Care without hesitation.
I popped in without an appointment for a test for travel purposes. All the gals right from the reception to the nurse were extremely professional and friendly.I’m definitely coming over with some gifts the next time I’m in NewYork.Keep up the great work and attitude ladies !
I had an appointment at 3.00 PM for my second vaccination. When I came I told a reason of my visit and front desk lady asked me to complete registration. In 30 min of waiting they asked me about a reason of my TESTING! I explained that I needed to get my vaccine, not COVID test. They gave me another form to fill and sent to waiting area again. I lost almost an hour for 1 minute procedure!
A welcoming and expeditious experience. From the front desk staff to the doctors, the team at MedRite Urgent Care was a pleasure to interact with. I had my medical exam for permanent residency done here, with the help of Dr. Michael Platzman who is a civil surgeon. The visits were quick and straightforward, and throughout the entire process I felt well-treated and informed. The test results came back within a week, beating expectations (usually takes a week or longer). Thank you for making this experience so smooth.
Everyone that worked there was very friendly and very helpful and extremely patient which I really needed and appreciated. I was called in and seen quite quickly too, which I also appreciated. Test results were sent to me on time with no delay all on schedule since I was waiting for 2 different test results. . I was really and completely impressed.
Kind, patient, efficient service from caregivers who retained their humor and humanityI wrote that previously. After my 3rd visit I still give them a rave! Nice, kind and patient workers, even with lines out the door in two directions. AND ALSO very efficient! So wonderful to get both!Best Urgent Care in the area.
Stay away if you value your time and health. They lost my Covid test some weeks ago (literally). Today went in for a Covid booster and, despite call center confirming otherwise, was informed once there in line that they wont provide. The lack of competence and teamwork at this company is staggering. I could have spent the time and effort (and money) elsewhere and instead no test results and no vaccine. Criminal incompetence.
I got a PCR test here before travelling back to Canada. It was free, which seemed unbelievable because other clinics were charging $175 usd for 24 hour PCR tests. I had my 18 hour test within 24 hours (at the 18 hour mark the clinic was closed), and I had no issue with the documentation. The staff are friendly and the clinic is run efficiently. My only complaint was the inaccurate phone wait times when waiting to speak to someone to get my result. Would recommend to anyone travelling back to Canada.
If you plan to come here, go else where. It’s sad that you have to wait to been seen by medical “professionals”. I’m sure everyone else’s experience is different, but today mine is beyond annoyed. I’ve been here since 9:45am for a 10am appointment. It’s now 12:11pm and I’m still waiting to be seen. I will never come here voluntary and EMPLOYERS please do not schedule your employees to been seen here!!!!!
They are the worst. The doctor saw me for 5 minutes in a rush. He didnt listen to my symptoms but only asked me a few questions. And later I got a $400 bill. Definitely the worst doctor Ive ever seen in my life. Dont go if youd like someone to take your sickness seriously!
We came to this urgent care to get covid testing prior to camp start for my 7 year old daughter and my 5 year old son. Fast turnaround which is important, young kids aren’t great at waiting for anything. Unfortunately nasal swabs for 5 year olds has proven to be rather challenging and traumatizing especially for my son…however the nurse/assistant who was there was incredibly patient and caring…she really calmed him down and talked him through it. I am so grateful for this and cannot recommend this clinic highly enough.
The staff is really nice! Once I was in everything took about 5 minutes. However, they dont have a portal, and if you miss their call they do not follow up with an email. You will have to wait 2-3 hrs to get tested, which is understandable considering the times we are in, but having to wait 3 hours on hold on the phone is not okay especially because they literally tell you that they will email you.City MD is much more organized, NYC health hospitals also super organized, this is not your go to UC, UNLESS you have no other resort. But seriously the staff is SO nice, so patient, in a good mood despite likely working long shifts.
The absolute best team working here! Incredibly attentive, accomadating, and overall very kind and helpful! I got my results sooner than expected, and was super comfortable the whole time! The girls even provided a sign so I may double park while getting tested! Will always come to this location for all my testing needs :)
The entire team of receptionists, schedulers and test administrators was totally friendly, courteous and considerate. It was my first visit and I’ll definitely return. Francesca was especially nice and explained things very carefully for me. Fast and easy results - everyone was very professional, even going out of their way to assist folks in the waiting area with further questions. Thank you!
The people at this location were so fast and efficient, but most of all they very kind to me when I came in last night. I was able to get tested within 30 mins of my arrival. IThe staff was very kind, and helpful despite me being nervous and inexperienced with the whole process. The clinic was very clean and organized. I was able to get the results of my rapid test within an hour via an app. I would definitely return here again for testing, though I pray I never need to!
Went in this morning for a “rapid” test. Staff was incredibly efficient, kept everything moving, kept people separated, sanitized. The male nurse who did my test was exceptionally kind, warm and friendly and somehow managed to make the experience not dreadful and I walked out laughing. For what these women and men go through daily, I truly applaud them all for doing it with a friendly smile and good attitude. Thank you for making it all so easy!
During the same day I had a appointment at RITE-AID for my appointment at 9:00am they was not offering any 100 dollars for taking the shot so I canceled my appointment and went to MEDRITE URGENT CARE on 10-14-21 the same day as a walk-in, nice clean place, people friendly located at 521 west 42nd st New York. Talking with the doctor didn’t even feel the shot, he said I’m done.
Not only did you lie about my colleagues’ fit mask testing, you made up a story about having a respirator that doesn’t exist with falsified documentation. I hope you do not do this type of false documentation with your more sick patients that require actual medical attention. This is a very serious matter & I expect to be contacted by a medical director for this company otherwise I will follow through with a lawsuit. Thank you. This is ridiculous that I am having difficulty obtaining my own healthcare information because of HIPPA violations according to the staff members.
The Workers are very Nice. I was in and out , No more than 30 minutes. I did Rapid Covid Testing, Results in minutes.Go early in the morning, they open at 9am. I was second in line. The Lady came out within minutes after opening and took everyone Id to speed up the process. They have an App on the Door to scan so you can check-in before your seen. Very Professional, Efficient, and Friendly.
I do not know how this place got any good reviews. I went this morning at 9am. I had shortness of breath and chest pains yet did not get seen for 1 hour. All staff is very condescending, none seem to care. After getting diagnosed with upper respiratory infection and told prescription would be ordered, I am left to find my way out of the maze and I keep asking who will know to send the prescription ACROSS THE STREET TO THE CVS PHARMACY. Yes, yes yes I am told, here is your paperwork, go to the CVS Pharmacy. I go to CVS, no one knows anything about a prescription. I get an email from Duane Reade Pharmacy telling me my Insurance info is wrong. I look at my Medrite paperwork and the prescription was sent to Duane Reade, 2 blocks away and CLOSED UNTIL MONDAY! I then call Medrite to explain what happened and they assure me an urgent expedition will be ordered to CVS. This is at 11am. I just called CVS (1pm) and they have no prescription! I call Medrite yet again. Much more condescending staff tell me it will be expedited to CVS, tell me how wonderful I am, etc.. I am told to call CVS in 1 hour to see if the prescription is there. I can only hope. This is NOT a place to go if you are truly sick. Maybe if you want a Covid test but I wouldn’t even trust that from this experience.
I was extremely impressed with how clean the facility was. I was treated with super nice and the lady who checked me in and went above and beyond to find my paperwork that the job was supposed to send beforehand. The RN Darnell was super professional and polite. Even the Doctor was nice and humorous. This was really the best experience I’ve had in an urgent care or doctors office period for that matter. Usually you feel like you are cattle and being rushed. Not here they explain every step and work quickly and efficiently. Wonderful job!
Just got serviced pretty fast and in a friendly way by Marcos and Sierra. I noticed that the staff has gotten better. In the past I have had to deal with rude and loud staff members who clearly did not belong here. Glad things are improving. I will be going here many more times in the future.Update: I recommend going here after 6:30 PM. There will be almost no line.Got my COVID PCR and anti-body test results back in just 3 days.
Do not get any vaccine with this company!!! I definitely will not again I called numerous times in regards to having my information corrected so that I can pull up the excelsior pass on my phone also to have my first dose of the COVID Vaccine reported and no one calls back. What type of place is this very ghetto I’ll be reporting this place to the State Official Department.Update: Ms Burke did a wonderful Job making sure that she addressed my issue until I saw results keep up the wonderful work Ms Burke as for the rest of the staff at Medrite take a big page from Ms Burke’s Book!
Long wait due to Thanksgiving rush - arrived at 3pm and left a bit after 5pm. Total time outside was 2 hours...dress warm! It was very organized inside. I got a PCR and rapid test. I logged into the portal a few hours after the test and my rapid result was already there. Staff were all nice, even the line expediter/manager who probably has a toughest job!
Most horrible emergency center I ever been too . Very rude & disgusting people working here . They should be shut down . They use the police station across the street to carry out anybody who wants to be treated better or complains about the service here . I wasted 3 days in total & still haven’t got what I needed done . I only made it in the door once & got turned away all 3 times ! So much miscommunication in the staff . System needs to be updated as well . If I could give ZERO Stars I would !
Amazing caring staff, super fast specially for Covid Tests. Healthcare is definitely not great in the US in general but these guys at Med Rite make your experience so much better. They care and seem to like their jobs. Thank you all. Next time I need urgent doctor I’ll go to you. Nowhere else!
Highly pleased with the Medical services received at Medrite. Staff was friendly and professional. Wait was minimal. I was seen and treated in under an hour. Definitely a great alternative to busy clinics/ER. Highly recommend it and wouldnt hesitate to use their services again.
I went in for pre-op testing It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had in an Urgent care. They were awesome fast and very efficient. But their nurse Eva is an asset to this office. I would wholeheartedly feel at ease referring anyone to this office. Thank for the best care and experience. Eva my hat goes off to you . I salute you because your truly an mvp.
I was impressed and thankful with the service at Medrite urgent care. I needed a test before traveling and was able to access this resource without a long wait and in a clean and pleasant environment. All the medical and reception staff were lovely! I didn’t need to wait to receive the test results, they called me promptly exactly as they had said they would.Thank you so much!
The line was long but understandable considering the spike in cases and the holiday. I got there for 7:40am and was inside by 9:00am. Cindy made the experience incredible! Super fast and efficient. Was able to get rapid test, regular PCR, and antibody test in about 15 minutes. I had my rapid results posted to the portal in about 30 min.
Didnt get vaccine when my last visit as they dont have stock of jenssen vaccine which i preferred but got my pcr test twice without any hustle...the staffs in the clinic inside are well mannered and warmth with a smile on their face that is delighted specially if your a visitor of the country......just pls improve those on the front desk :) to be more polite, more accomodating and keep a smile on their face. Thank you. Youve got 5 overall.
Terrible customer service. Spent over 10 minutes registering online for a 550pm time slot. Get there at 5:46 and they say they are full and short handed and cant take anyone else. Not stated of course when filling out their lengthy paperwork to pre-register that u wont be seen if they want to close and are short staffed. Unprofessional attitude from check-in girl.
Scheduled an at home vaccine appt in august 14th at 1:30 pm…they show up 6 hours later no phone call no text to let me know they weren’t going to make it in time. Second dose scheduled for 09/04 at 10:00 am, called out of work for this appt…..no one shows up. Call the company they never put in the appt now I have to take off of work another day for the rescheduled appt. DO BETTER
I wasnt the patient the person I came with was. The staff was unprofessional and borderline ghetto. The girl who seemed to be working the door with all the tattoos across her neck and chest was the worst of them all. She placed my friends ID on the counter and never said a word. Mind you we had to wait outside till it was her turn and multiple people walked by and made stops at the desk before leaving. They made everyone stand outside except people getting covid testing. The people getting covid testing were all able to walk in and sit in the waiting area. Absolutely worst place in my opinion.
Very friendly, organized, well staffed, clean, great doctors, and efficient! I love it here when I need care and you will too! They do everything and walk-ins are especially convenient for all of NYC. Doctors are amazing and they get you in and out in no time! Looking for a place to meet your Urgent Care needs or even get same day test results for CoVid-19, then look no further this is the place to go! Thank you MedRite Urgent Care!
Everyone who works here has an excellent attitude. I’ve been there twice in the past few weeks for COVID testing and they were efficient and friendly both times. A physician’s assistant even took the time to meet with me which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend.
Had a great experience of being helped here. It’s always annoying when you have to check in with your health and have to search out for expertise to guide you back to a healthy normal or answer any health related unknowns that you might have. I rarely have good experience in the health system here in the USA but this place was clean, quick, patient with my queries and satisfied with the health plan I got from the doctor.
I have to give it 5 star. Getting covid test shouldn’t be a luxury now and MedRite does make it simple for everyone. I have seen clinics who claim they accept walk in but still require people to come in early to get their number. I have also seen other clinics that charge you for tests despite insurance coverage. The “free” and convenient testing offered by MedRite just made my life so much easier.Big shoutout to the staff there. They are working under risk and overtime and there was barely any complaint. The staff was super supportive and would address your concern immediately if you had any. I can’t expect more at this time.
Don’t waste your time with MedRite. You’d do better to go to literally ANY other urgent care. They feign helpfulness, but the front desk staff are unhelpful and will not let the doctors know when you call for your test result. They will also actively avoid answering your calls. Not only is this completely unacceptable from a patient care perspective, it is downright dangerous. The entire front desk staff should be replaced at this location. 100% do not recommendUpdate: I reached out to their VP of operations to voice my complaints. He ensured that a provider reached out to me promptly and I was able to share my feedback with them for the office manager to address. Updating review to 3 stars.Update: I’m updating my review to 5 stars because Nina, the office manager, has gone above and beyond to rectify this situation and ensure that any questions or concerns I had about billing and insurance issues were addressed. She is dedicated to making things right and ensuring her office is top notch! Thank you Nina!
First time at this location, didn’t wait long. Got signed up and got seen within 30 mins. I got 2 COVID-19 tests the rapid test and PCR test at the same time. Also wanted to see the doctor for some symptoms I had see her right away. She put me at ease, asset me right away. Also, just if anyone want to know they usually have a few vaccines left over at the end of the day and instead of them going to waste you can get them there. To be super honest, out of all the medical places I have been to this is the first one that felt like I wasn’t being rushed out, and they were super professional.
Husband and I got our covid tests here, was super quick and easy and the ladies there were super nice. Only thing was my husband is slightly older than me so they questioned his age (which was perfectly fine because they needed to make sure the system was correct) and when I told the age they had was correct they changed it anyways so he couldn’t log into the portal
Only giving this review because Ms Farah Pascal was so lovely and I think she deserves her flowers. I went back in Feb for my CDL medical and she made the whole process go by smoothly with a smile on her face the whole time. The whole team was great but she stood out because she was very personable. Thank you for all you do Ms. Pascal
Poorly organized- but I tried to give the benefit of the doubt due to how swamped urgent cares are right now. Positive was that the staff was really nice, but I waited almost 4 hours for a pre-employment physical. Half of that time was spent actually in an exam room, where throughout the day multiple workers came in and asked who I was/why I was there. Then, I had one of the most unprofessional physicians do my physical. It took all of 5 seconds and he rudely asked me, Are you tired? (I still dont know why he asked me that)- to which I responded, Yes, Ive been here for 4 hours. The medical assistant who helped me was nice, and again, most likely swamped, but geez. Any kind of update would have been appreciated throughout the day, just to know where I was at on timing.
My partner and I need COVID tests before traveling, and MedRite was the only place that guaranteed 24 hour turnaround on PCR testing. My partners results came through as promised; mine, however, got lost in transit. (I suspect that the outside lab fouled the specimen somehow while logging it in, and covered by denying they ever received it.) But I went back and they made sure that it was handled properly and followed up aggressively with the lab, then called me the next morning to make sure Id gotten the results. Much appreciated!
I was required to take a pre employment drug screening at this facility. The gentleman at the front desk was great. Even though it was almost closing time and there were a few people in the waiting room, he interacted with everyone with courtesy and respect. His personality was very enthusiastic and contagious. The facility is very clean and the process was fast and simple.
UPDATE: I ended up having to go back in person and they got me my results right away and were very apologetic. Still concerned about the phones not going though to someone in the office though. You will never be able to get in contact with anyone in the office unless you physically go in person. I went yesterday for a rapid COVID test and after telling them I would sit and wait for the results, was urged to leave and get my results via the online portal. I waited hours and it was never posted. The next day, still never posted so I tried calling and the automatic message just talks you in circles. This is so disappointing because I did have a good experience in the office, but it is so hard to get in touch about what was supposed to be a 15 minute rapid test result.
Was skeptical at first and could not be happier! Went in for a rapid test and antibody blood draw for work. Took LITERALLY 3 minutes. The staff was so friendly and fast. There is even a free water cooler with nice tasting water if you like. They called me with covid results 24 hours later. Keep in mind this was all completley free. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
A great expérience! Everyone is nice and smiling despite the people waiting and the situation with COViD-19.Everyone from outside, the front desk, doctor and nurses.Special thanks to Francesca who were very helpful and understand for the different paperwork I had to fill out and give to the doctor.Again, a smile on every faces! It feels great so thank you all!
I went for rapid covid test yesterday. Results take 20-30 minutes. They did not contact me yesterday. They still haven’t contacted me today and it’s 10am. I called for the results and was caller number 19. I waited a little over 30 minutes and I was only caller 12 after that wait. I did not have another hour to wait on the phone. On a happy note, the staff was nice. I still don’t have my results sadly.
Great experience! I went to Med rite located on 42nd St. near 11th Ave. because my regular doctor was not available. Upon arrival I filled out some short paperwork and then received a quick and easy COVID-19 test. After receiving the good news within ten minutes that my test result was negative. I signed up for a Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccination scheduled for April 15. I’m very glad that they opened up close to my home and will be using their medical services again in the future.
This was my first time visiting here. I was in and out within 20 minutes. The medical assistant Cindy was very skilled in drawing my blood. I have had horrible experiences before with blood draws at the CityMD a few blocks away. I would highly reccommend MedRite if you get nervous around needles or blood. I would come back here if needed.
I went to see Dr. Platzman, he was amazing, very kind and caring. The place is clean and staff very friendly, I didn’t even wait 10 minutes, they’re very organized.Dr. Platzman had the courtesy of calling in for mu results and follow up appointment was also very prompt. They make all the process very easy for the patient.I would recommend MedRite and Dr. Platzman in a heartbeat!!
Was able to pre-register online & get on line online. Not crowded anymore. Not a long wait inside. Just a bit confusing & unclear instructions once i got there. Not good communication from the front end. Maybe its the masks the dividers & the blasting tv but i really wasnt sure i was in the mix properly till i was called. Fast results too. Overall a good experience
Absolutely wonderful! The staff here are so patient. It’s so organized and you can make your appointment online! I highly recommend you do that and arrive 20 minutes before your appointment. When I was there two people came in, late and not very pleasant and the staff handled the situation professionally. I’m fortunate to have this facility in the area. Thank you w42nd street team! You guys are rockstars. 10+ rating from me & my son.
Me and my wife did the online registration for 12.11pm, we wait more than an hour, at last I went to the front desk and they tell me they didn’t have any registration on my name because the online registration wasn’t working. It’s been 24 hours from the test and We don’t have the PCR results, and I have to go to the airport in 3 hours.
I highly recommend this urgent care. Everyone on the staff from the clerks to the nurses and medical doctors are skilled, kind and efficient. Everyone really listens to you and do their best to help you. I feel lucky that they are in my neighborhood, just a block and a half away.
Was seen very quickly, paperwork and process were straightforward, and most importantly, the medical guidance I received from the PA, Paige, that I needed to urgently see an opthamologist and referral to Mount Sinai eye hospital, may have saved the vision in my right eye. Very grateful for the tremendous care at MedRite, and by Paige.
The person at front desk was awesome. She got me in and out quickly. The guy with the color hair made me feel very comfortable. The xtray tech very welcoming, and the Dr was also very helpful, and informative. He stayed until I was done with the procedure. They were fantastic. Thanks,Marcia
The staff at midtown west is wonderful and so helpful. My 7yrs old daughter is severely autistic and nonverbal. First a staff helped us to get paperwork to fill out so I can keep my place in line. The 3 other staff helped me to get her to take the covid test. The easy way would be just telling me they cant help us.
So I initially called this place to book in an urgent appointment and although the doctor was leaving the lady said if we can get there in 15 mins she can see me. No issues with that and in fact I was very happy as I was in urgent need of a medicine. I also inquired how much the cost would be and I was told between $125-$180 due to not having insurance. I made my way in and was merely greeting by a consultant and starting filling out the forms. I asked again to confirm the cost which I was told $125 without insurance, but when I was asked to pay before the appointment and went to do so in cash, I was told the cost would be $300!!! The consultant quickly responded that my insurance would claim it back after I had just said I did not have insurance.I said that they’ve just quoted me $125 and he rudely said fine it’s $125. Was that just a test to see if I’d pay that amount ? What I don’t get is how quickly he could drop the amount again. So I agreed to that price and handed money and needed change which they couldn’t find.I waited on the seat and out came a few people from another door and a lovely lady who was very apologetic asked me to come through to another part of the facility. Turns out I had come through the wrong door. What a completely different atmosphere it was, the doctor was great and so were the staff I was treated and actually had to remind them I needed to pay which was the complete opposite of my initial experience. If it was a separate association I would rate them 5 starts but unfortunately they are joined. It’s still a bit confusing but I still can’t get that first experience out of my mind. Maybe it’s because I’m travelling from overseas? Who knows but beware
My job has a contract with this Medrite and I was taken here after my accident on February 20. I was able to jump to the front of the line although people were waiting. A malfunctioning steel gate hit me in the face at work. I was bleeding and I needed to be checked out. I initally thought I needed stitches. I was out of work for a bit and I needed to complete a follow up before I could go back to work. The doctor is only in on certain days so I was not seen on March 3 when I visited. I was released to go back to work on March 5 and told the lump under my skin was not an orbital fracture but would take 4 to 6 weeks to do down. All good news but then I could not get paperwork completed for my disability claim in order to be paid for my time off. I have a separate disability policy in addition to any claim via my company. Medrite has refused to fill out the paperwork and they have been giving me the run around since March 5. Finally today, March 16, they said they will absolutely not fill out the form that I left on site on March 5 and that I also sent to them by email.Dr. Platzman refused to complete the form (which is for a physican) after my follow up on March 5 and said Daniel Bakman who initially saw me on 2/20 needed to complete the form, although Bakman is not a physician. I went to Medrite three times now to get this paperwork and at one point was told that I needed to call Bakman to get the form completed.I do not know if the paperwork that I have from my visits (and that was resent to me via email) will be sufficient so I can be paid for my time out of work. Its been a frustrating experience and I have time scheduled with my union rep to terminate the contract with MedRite.
Horrible place to work !! Offered me full time employment only to laid me off few months later !! Low pay for all the work they had me doing!! During this role I was a medical assistant , a driver , and unfortunately a mechanic !! Had to change the car tires due to getting a flat tire . Only good for experience
This was by far the most efficient and friendly Covid testing center around. I’m hesitant to say so, since it will soon be overcrowded. But word is bound to get out anyway. I got in and out very rapidly. The city needs many more places like this help us safely combat this virus. Other facilities should use them as a model. If it were always this easy to get tested, more people would do it and more frequently! Knowledge is essential to controlling this thing. And rapid testing is the first step.
The location was easy to get to, clean and spacious. The wait time was very short. The assistant and the doctor were nice and welcoming.I felt listened to, cared for and they were attentive to my concerns. Instead of blowing me off and telling me all is well its just a rash from some allergy. They ran some tests in house and sent blood work to a lab. Thankfully, they took my symptoms seriously because I found I had an infection and who knows what the blood test would have revealed. Prescription was made to treat the internal and physical issues. This place cost me less and did so much more for me than a private practice on the upper west side.
I’m now on hold for 17 minutes after being hung up on. I’m not calling to make a manicure appointment. I’m calling to inquire about covid testing but staff refuses to speak with anyone and simply puts folks like me on hold. If they can’t speak with a person how can they boast of a medical professional providing immediate assistance? They’re hardly quick and efficient as I’m still waiting to speak with a human being after being on hold for 22 minutes.
MedRite Urgent Care is my go to for wonderful health care. I’ve been to this location twice in the past year and each time I was seen in less than five minutes (and even on a Sunday). The doctors are compassionate, knowledgeable, personal, and take the time to make sure you know what the issue is and how they would like to treat you. Each time, they told me to come back if I did not feel better in the next few days. I recommend MedRite Urgent care to anyone living or visiting nearby!
I had an excellent experience here, and would recommend it to anyone. On a Monday evening, I had practically no wait. The entire process, including getting a tetanus shot and getting my prescription filled across the street, was less than 20 minutes. Plus, every member of the staff was warm and polite. Two extra bonuses: this place is open after 8pm, which almost none of the other urgent care clinics are, and the medical director is a long-time ER doc who seems very invested in quality care.
My 14 yo daughter and I were on a trip, staying in Times Square, when she fell ill. I was dreading having to go to an urgent care in Manhattan but the experience was fantastic. We were in and out really quickly, and the staff was incredibly professional and friendly. Saif made the process simple from check in to check out; Felix made my daughter feel comfortable; and Aviva did a great job diagnosing/prescribing. The antibiotics were sent to the Duane Reade on the corner and we got them very fast. We were seeing Dear Evan Hansen at 8PM so time was tight but we made it in plenty of time thanks to the fantastic staff -- considering we arrived at 6:30 PM and were finished WITH antibiotics by 7:20 PM, I consider it almost a miracle. Would definitely visit again. Thanks to everyone who helped us.
Be aware! If you get a PCR test, this place is not for you. I’ve been waiting for result over 48 hours. But a friend of mine who took a PCR at hospital on the same day already received the result(about 24 hours). This place want to charge insurance $$$$ and really don’t care about patients. Rapid tests seem okay, but it’s not reliable. There is a reason why this place has NO LINE.
In the first half of March I called to book an appointment for a Health Certificate with Immigration purpose. Because I needed it absolutely by the 7th of April, I wanted to be sure to have it in time. They assured me I would have in one week, even if it was the beginning of the pandemic, so I chose them over other places and did the visit. After one week I called them, and they told me they got the results from the lab, but they couldnt schedule an appointment for the forms, and they delayed a few days. The following time Ive been told to call again one week, because the doctor was still out of the office. When i called again, after a long wait I insisted to talk with the manager, because they were unable to provide me informations. She told me doctor was unavailable for at least one month because of pandemic, so i should have to wait. I was a little annoyed, and she didnt even let me talk or complain (i needed the certificate urgently), cutting me out and raising her voice. From that moment i called other times and between rudeness and lack of informations I waited over 3 months. The last time I spoke to Mina (the manager), in mid June, she was again really rude and basically blaming me because I asking my documents during an emergency period, like if i was unrespectful for the people dying, and she told me I would get them probably in July. And after she made me wait 30 minutes on the phone she even yelled at me when i started complaining, and when i let her notice she didnt even apologize. This is not a way to treat a customer, if you are right or not. - and she was not from my point of view.Health certificate its really a simple thing..I finally managed to have a refund and I went somewhere else. I got the results and the signed form in one week.By the way the new doctor had to make me a vaccine shot they forgot - which means Immigration commission could have postponed my application because didnt have that vaccination..
I am an RN, so I an very familiar with medical facilities. I went to MedRite for medical clearance in order to start a specific program. Initially it looked like it would be quick, but then became more complicated due to my medical history. The staff was incredibly accommodating, very patient and willing to work with me, and very friendly. The facility was clean and quiet. I would definitely recommend this facility to others as well as return there myself.
Candidly, I went into this place with pretty low expectations figuring it would be very “Times Square” crazy, but they beyond exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff were kind and helpful, as was the nurse, and the doctor saw me quickly and was informative as well as helpful (giving me my first dose of an antibiotic because all the nearby pharmacies were already closed). I will happily return here!
Update: I contacted the billing department and wanted an explanation of why I was charged as out-of-network and they’ve been ignoring my email. Billing dept. is literally incompetent and unprofessionalI had better service at CityMD and recommend walking the two blocks to go see them instead——-Nothing like receiving a bill of over $100 after they consistently told me they took my insurance...Not only was I charged as out-of-network, they charged me under a provider that we didn’t even see
Great service and was called within a timely manner. Felix (MA) was amazing with my 4yr old son. He showed compassion and made my son feel at ease before and after giving him vaccines. Felix made this office visit a positive and great experience for my son and I. Highly recommend this Urgent Care to others.
I received an email with my covid test record but it needs a PASSWORD to open that I have no idea about. So I called them but it took me ONE HOUR just to jump from call #10 to #5. I don’t have 2 hours to wait to get picked up omg.So now I have no idea what my result is still. On a happy note all the nurses / staff there on site have been very efficient and nice
I was super impressed with everything up until I actually was called into the back. I got there at 915 and was inside by about 1030 on a Saturday. Then the tech called me by the wrong first name several times from waiting room into testing room. The girl who swabbed me didn’t know what she was doing and kept asking the other tech what to do. I was later called and told my rapid had come back as a positive covid test. But then 2 hours after that, was called again and informed I was flu positive, not covid positive. The organization from this standpoint left me extremely uneasy. I’m now going to another testing facility tomorrow to verify I am negative because of the lack of accuracy I dealt with today. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I informed several people I was positive just to have to tell them all I’m not sure again. That’s not okay. This is not a time to be this disorganized.

2021-12-11Never felt the need to review anywhere before my HORRIBLE experience at this MedRite Urgent Care. I was there at 9:10am when the supposedly opened at 9am. There was a line half-way down the block. It moved at a snails pace. Only once did someone come out to offer anyone information. They said something about their “provider” not being there. Who knows what the hell that meant? Finally got in to get my test at 10:30am. After which, I was told by the women administering the test I could get a print out of my test in 10 minutes (30 minutes via the patient portal). In order to do that however I had to talk to someone at the front desk, but the front desk had managed to let 9 people (I counted) clumped in together. I wasn’t going to stand there indoors at a COVID testing facility and wait for a result.I waited outside. There was a woman who was miserable creating a barrier for people to wait in line outside… I asked her what do I do if I’m waiting for a printout… she said “wait here” and somehow she’ll magically come find me???The chaos continued with too many people at the desk. After 20minutes I decided to use the patient portal to get results.2hours later still no result. They said 30 in the office!!!!!How does anyone in this city expect people to get tested when they need to if this is how our city’s urgent cares are run. Pathetic. Will never go here again.

2021-12-26I have been a patient here for about 2 years and I really appreciate the staff because they always make sure each patient is taken care of. For the last year and a half so many patients have been there. The wait is long but your concerns are addressed in a professional manner. The medical assistant’ and Doctors are so friendly, kind and easy to talk with. I am thankful for the care I receive each time I have a medical concern. Thank you all again for your hard work, patience, care and joy!WarmlyJP

2022-01-03Medrite urgent care is a circus! I waiter for over 5 hours in the freezing cold to be covid tested. Despite that, I remained super patient. That is until I watched countless people who arrived well after me be seen before me. In fact, I was only seen after I made a fuss about it in order to pacify me. Once inside, I learned that there was no order to how people were being called in and that staff were moving at a leisurely pace completely disconnected from the reality that there was a mob of desperate freezing people outside waiting to be tested, many or which were visibly unwell or in danger of missing their flights. This urgent care is operated so poorly that frankly I feel it ethically necessary to report it to the appropriate health care authorities as a matter of public health. To add, while I received my results right away, a friend who was tested at the same time has not received his results over 12 hours later.

2022-07-07I had to get a dog bite stitched up and the physician saw me was excellent. Great bedside manners, explained the procedure thoroughly and made me feel at ease while I was still in a state of shock. The front desk staff were very friendly and kind. The clinic was also very clean and offered hand sanitizer everywhere. I never had to wait longer than 5minutes to be seen.My only negative point was that the nursing staff was hit or miss.

2022-07-26Ive been to many other urgent care offices in the area and they are definitely the most thorough and friendly. Katherine Bond was very attentive and ordered blood work and an ekg which I didnt even know urgent care centers could do. She seemed genuinely interest in making sure that everything is normal instead of just stating go to your primary care doctor which is what I get most of the time.

2022-04-11Staff i was greeted by are friendly almost feels as if everyone is a neighborhood friend makes you feel comfortable. I can tell they all have a bond like family what a work place should really be about. I was greeted with kindness by front desk i popped in for quick questions and concerns and was helped on the spot . Will be stopping by soon once my insurance is all set 😂.

2022-04-01I fell and broke my left foot, and it was so painful! I couldnt put any weight on my left leg, so was hopping around in a lot of pain. I came to Medrite and they were so nice, responsive, and helpful, that it literally made the pain less - without medication! From the moment I walked in, front-desk staff was amazing. I didnt catch the gentlemans name (he has glasses and a shaved head), but he was so understanding, and had someone get me a wheelchair ASAP bc I was literally hopping on one foot. It was super-easy to register, and I got seen almost immediately (waited < 5 minutes).Dr. Nuwabie (sp?) was my doctor and he is one of the smartest, nicest, and most-professional doctors I have met! I wish he could be my primary care physician. He explained very clearly, thoughtfully, and concisely what was wrong with my foot, and how to best have it heal. He gave a few different recommendations and things to watch out for, and then read my x-rays (the x-ray process was very fast as well!). Foot fractures are notoriously difficult to read, so he then got a radiologists second opinion. Very responsible and kind of him.Eva was the nurse who helped me get around to and from the x-ray room, and get my crutches fitted. She is just incredible! She took my height and weight, then came back with brand-new crutches that fit perfectly. She watched me use them, gave me some corrections, and was wonderfully patient and kind. She gave me so much peace of mind during a very stressful time. She is smart, knowledgeable, and has awesome bedside manner.Thank you MedRite. I wish you could be my primary care physicians office! Next time I have an issue (I hope in a very long time!), I will see you again. In the meantime, anyone who is suffering from an acute ailment - go to MedRite!

2022-04-08Horrible experience with them. They’re very irresponsible and unprofessional. I went there twice for antigen covid test. First time when I when there, they lost my samples and I wasn’t able to get the results even though I’ve waited for two hours to take the test. Second time I visited, they didn’t stop chatting even I was there for help so I needed to wait for the receptionist. When I talked to the receptionist finally, I found out the covid test isn’t free anymore. I asked him there is any way to find out if my insurance covers it before I take the test but what he kept saying was sign for the documents which said I’ll have a responsibility for $125 payment for the test if my insurance company doesnt. He already had my insurance card so I asked him if he can make a phone call for me. He was just laughing at me. There was no any patient besides me, they were just chatting each other, if he doesn’t help their patients, what he’s there for? I eventually gave up and left. I will never ever go back to the place again.

2022-06-22For anyone considering coming to this location, please note it is true that the staff and doctor are very nice and theres nothing wrong with the care provided when you are there. However, they have the worst after-visit care Ive ever seen. Actually, it would have been better if its the worst after-visit care because that means at least I would have received something. When I left, the doctor very nicely told me to call him if my condition does not get better within a few days and emphasized that a few times. From the conversation, the expectation is clear that I will be speaking with him to discuss next steps. Since I wasnt getting any better, I called every. single. day. I go through the long process of listening to their automatic menu selection, give all my information to someone, get told someone will call me back, and then no one ever calls me back. I repeat the same process the next day.Fast forward over a week of calling everyday, I refused to receive a call back and finally got through to someone (and got hung up on and had to call again). It was not my doctor but someone who has no knowledge of my condition and the only thing she can tell me is to go in to the office to be seen again. Basically, to go through the same thing I went through the first time I came in and maybe more tests. I asked to speak to the doctor I saw because hes the one who knows my condition and the mutual understanding was that its a clear condition and only a matter of how to control the symptoms. I was told that after care is different and unless you go in, its basically impossible to be able to speak to the doctor you saw. She can try but hinted there is no way I will be able to speak to the doctor and no way someone will call me back.First, dont promise something when you know you cant deliver because that is deception. It could be that the doctor I saw would have also asked me to do more tests, but I should hear it from him. Second, if I have a much more serious condition, this inability to get a hold of anyone for a week after calling everyday would have caused me serious danger, especially for people self-paying and cant drop hundreds at every casual follow up visit.

2022-04-23Staff is lovely but they forget to tell you a lot. I was told to either fill out a form to sign in or scan the code on the wall. I scanned the code. After completing, the app said I was signed in. after waiting longer than expected, I noticed people getting called that just sat down. I asked the front desk if something went wrong with my sign-in. They asked me if I told someone that I was done. the app doesn’t actually sign you in. The rest went smoothly. Then I get a text that tells me that my test results were available to download. I was given to use my phone number or email and birthday. It wouldn’t take my phone number. The date field is set at today’s date. You can’t input the date, you have to scroll back one month at a time. After several hundred clicks, I made it to 1956, just six years shy went it timed out and returned to today. Really annoying!
