The place is nice and clean. But the girl that handle my results was very unprofessional telling me in front of everyone outside my results. I also was on the line from 8:15 útil 11:45 to have a COVID test. Once your inside it only takes like 5 minutes I don’t understand why the line takes so long to move.
The Girls were Friendly and polite but I didn’t like that the Doctor confused my daughter with a man just because she had a cap on. He didn’t apologized and then said her name and kept on like she didn’t hear him but she did. They need to look at their chart before they approach a patient. 😡
They leave before their closing time like they close at 5 and it’s 3:40 and they not seeing anymore patients for testing and their is no patients inside what so ever. Mind you I had pre registered. Today Jan 4 the same thing I was told to pre register that the last registration was at 6:15 so I make the line with my two kids and then at 5:57 they come outside and tell us we not gonna be seen that they was done for today but they close at 8. That’s is very unprofessional and they need to comunícate with their staff so everyone can be on the same page especially with this super cold weather.
Worst experience ever!!! They made me do an online application to get tested at a certain time just to not been seen. Made an appt at 7:01 , when i arrived the lady said they’ve already seen 150 people which is there max for the day. Unbelievable!! Waste of time (they don’t close until 8)
I walked in at 6 pm the receptionist immediately try to turn me away. Mind you they close at 8pm. As I was getting ready to leave she accepted a girl that walked in by herself. She assumed that because I have two kids I would of taken more time. After she saw that I saw her accepting that patient she decided to take me in. As Im filling out the paperwork she asks me for my sons insurance card. She claims that I need my primary and I didnt have the card. Im a medical assistant and i know that if the pt doesnt have her insurance card you can look it up in the portal. But she didnt even bother just made my whole experience really bad. They need better personnel that want to work. And not pick and choose who they want to accept. Terrible.
Came across this place via Google search cause I needed some rapid bloodwork that I admit I procrastinated on & while I didn’t pay attention to the reviews it was the location & time they open for service, that instantly made me request for an appointment. It was 4:43pm when I called to schedule & although it’s “walk in” I made myself an appointment for 8am. They texted me the “registration & sign in” link which I completed while on the phone with their representative, ITS THAT EASY. following morning, I got there a lil late (blame my procrastination) I was able to “Sign in” using the link they texted me while waiting outside (they only let 6ppl in at a time), I was seen within the next 10min. I was out the door the following 25min & I was able to make it to work ON TIME & pick up my results in time for the deadline. ¡mega win for me!. highly recommend this place, the girls there were knowledgeable, genuine, nice and caring. Hope everyone’s experience is just as swift as mine was.
Workers don’t care about doing their job correctly. They Had over 30 people standing outside in the heat waiting for covid tests. The waiting room was completely empty !!! After waiting in the heat for over an hour I asked the receptionist if there was a specific time that the covid tests were administered and her response was “No I ’m by myself so you just have to wait” keep in mind there was not a single patient in the facility ! We sat outside for hours watching everyone leave including lab coat wearing workers. It wasn’t until several other people started complaining for her to finally start doing her job and let patients in. This should not be a covid testing center as the workers clearly don’t want to do their job and test patients for covid. A waste of people’s time !!
I had a good experience here. You can register on ur phone while ur waiting in line. The wait was like 15 -20 mins. everyone seemed friendly and like they were doing their absolute best. Haven’t had to come here for anything truly urgent (just COVID test) but i did have a good experience coming here
My wife had recently gone to the MedRite Dyckman location to get her COVID-19 vaccine. She returned to this location approximately 3 days later, with concerns regarding COVID like symptoms, and she wanted some reassurance that she was going to be fine. The provider working that day was Sharon Ramjattan, PA, and my wife had a horrendous experience with her. She did not address her concerns and instead disregarded her completely, and even called her patient number 3. She did not take my wife serious and assumed she could not speak English. It was disheartening to see my wife come home distraught from her experience and still concerned about her health before she returned to work. I wanted to write this review to ensure that if you need serious help or want to ensure that you are in good health. Then do not consider going to this MedRite location. I have not gone to other Medrite locations but steer clear of this site if you take your health seriously.
So, I went in with a UTI and was prescribed Bactrim. I came back in because I’d developed a fever and a rash. Turns out I have a sulfa allergy, and even though they prescribed it, they didn’t explore that or even notify me it was a possible reaction to the drug. They gave me a rapid covid test and when it was negative, they sent me home. I took another dose of the medication which spiked my fever and worsened the rash. I truly feel that’s complete negligence on their part. Two years earlier, I’d gone in saying I was pretty sure I had an ear infection. They said ‘nope’ and sent me home. Two hours later my eardrum ruptured and I had to seek treatment with a specialist who confirmed it was an ear infection and asked who had told me it was not.Basically, you’re better off not seeking any medical assistance at all over going to them.I called the number they provided in the response below within an hour of their reply. Left a message with all of my contact information. It’s been over a week and I have not received a call back. So… the below response is to make them appear as if they are responsive. They’re not.
In year 2021 Ive gone to Medrite Dyckman several times for covid tests. On Saturday Dec. 11, 2021, I went to see a doctor for the first time. I was seen right away by a doctor and was given a prescription and she explained to me what to do in lay terms. Everytime I go to this facility all the staffs are very nice, very professional and caring. Thank you Medrite Dyckman.
I had my flu vaccine administered last year. Quick, efficient, friendly staff. I am happy to see the dentist office is open again. I liked the old dentist that was at this location, the new dentist seems nice, I need to return for a follow up will update my review after my next appointment.
Terrible service. The information posted online is incorrect. The information provided when you call the service number is incorrect. They do not offer 3 hour PCR tests here. The pre-visit check in feature with waiting times does not apply to this location. I arrived and have been waiting over an hour with a half dozen people still ahead.Do not come here.
I have been to the walk-in urgent care located on dyckman st. In Manhattan several times. For myself and also my 3 year old. We both have primary care doctors. But when either of us need to be seen immediately and it’s not serious enough to go to the ER. Medrite is the next best thing. Both me and my daughter were seen by Dr. Sharon on different occasions. On my visit I went in with a bad allergic reaction, where I had very bad rashes covering my body. Yes I’ve been to the ER and a dermatologist before going to urgent care. And wasn’t getting the help I needed. When I was seen by Dr. Sharon my skin looked crazy, I was so self conscious and embarrassed. Also my self esteem was so low by this point.Dr. Sharon came in to the room and not one time during my visit did she make me feel uncomfortable or less than a person. She actually took time to listen to what was going on. She also had empathy for my situation And was the only doctor that after taking and doing the things she prescribed and suggested. I finally got real results. And my skin is 100 times better and is healing. I’m not sure what was going to happen to my skin if I wasn’t seen by her. She’s definitely a doctor that cares about her patients. And of course she gave the same attention to my daughter when she was seen by her.Let’s not the amazing Staff that work within Medrite as well. From the moment you step inside your Greeted by a welcoming receptionist, triaged by amazingly kind medical assistants🙂 everyone there are truly helpful and kind.I recommend all of my family and friends also anyone who’s reading this to definitely visit medrite in your time of need. You will definitely get the help and attention you need.Thank you dyckman st. Medrite I truly appreciate y’all😁🤗
I have been here a few times and I agree with some of the other feedback that a little more training goes a long way. I was given only verbal instructions as to what to do about the Covid testing results with no paperwork. I called the facility to get the name of the website for results and I was given the wrong website (this may have been a misunderstanding because of the receptionist accent but still.) I do have to give credit to customer service, they were able to give me all the info I needed to get my results. Besides that, the long lines for Covid testing are true but honestly that cant be helped. The ladies inside are willing to answer any questions and make you feel at ease. One of the ladies did so well when my youngest was afraid of the test. I do like the staff because they have been very nice each time Ive been there.
Went to get a covid test. Had to wait three days for results which is fine. They instructed me to come back three days later to pick up the results. This should have been done in an email but I agreed. I arrived at the designated time and they instructed me to wait outside in the rain for my results. It took a half an hour to get results that should have been emailed. (Edit in response to owner response): No papers were given after my test was taken. I was simply told to return Monday at 4:30 for results. Perhaps some better employee training is in order. Thanks for the response, however.
Appointment IS NOT required! The line today was about 50 people, all the way around the corner. I waited about 3 hours in line. The staff is pretty efficient and friendly,EDIT: (-they- -are- -just- -understaffed-). The capacity of this facility is not designed to handle that many patients based on the reply.5 stars for the staff,EDIT: *3* stars for the organization and the website.
0 for 2. 1st visit arrived 30 minutes before close and was turned away for flu shot. 2nd time - I called the main medrite number to confirm I could get a covid test and they said go ahead. I asked to confirm and they forwarded my call to the clinic, no one picked up. I arrived at the center and they tell me theyve stopped testing for the day (150 minutes before closing) because its a holiday - good friday. Meanwhile there is no one there so not sure why they didnt answer the phone. Also, good friday?! Never againGitty is never there, tried calling 4 times. Also, no one knows when she will be in. They messed that up too
None of the process for a COVID test and getting results was thoroughly explained. Also, the woman giving my test had her lunch out on the table (next to all the equipment). When I received a text asking for my feedback the next day, I sent my review directly (instead of posting it online). About an hour or so later, I got a very rude call back addressing the review. When I shared a small piece of what I understood about the process after doing my own research at home, they said “How did you know that if you didn’t understand the process”. While the experience was quick, they were rude and unsanitary.
Don’t give a no star because I can’t. My daughter had to wait about three hours although she stated several times that it was not COVID related. We understand that you are understaffed but being rude is not necessary! They turned away a teacher, patients needing urgent care but a young couple comes in and Miss sunshine comes out.I guess my daughter was the wrong nationality.Hopefully we won’t have to go back.
Okay, so why have a phone number and a website if there is no way of reaching someone at this clinic? All I need is to reach out to someone so that they can provide me with details on testing results, but when you make it so difficult to follow-up on something, or when its so hard for a patient / customer to reach a human, thats a red-flag.
Hours of operation need to be updated online and in the voice recording when you call. As of 6:30pm today (6/24) the hours are M-F 9am -7pm. I got to the clinic at 6:39pm and the doors were locked. A woman at reception motioned that they were closed. At a time like this having the correct information is very important. I left work an hour early in order to make it in time before they closed(7pm). Going out of my way to go to this clinic is also potentially exposing me to the virus, had I know they were closed at 6 or 5 pm (information is still very unclear) I wouldn’t have gone there at all. After I walked away, I called the number on here and a woman said they closed at 6 and the sign was on the door. I let her know this need to be updated online because not everyone will know what’s posted on the door if you don’t walk through here. We’re in a pandemic, we have to depend more on information online than physical signs at clinic 20 minutes away that you don’t walk by. Furthermore there were multiple signs on the doors and it looks like maybe it closes at 5pm. Whoever answered the phone didn’t care that the information online is incorrect and not her problem to update. She just repeated that there was a sign on the door and was hurrying to hang up that I barely got her to confirm opening hours. So along with updating the info on your hours maybe train your staff to have better bedside manners with potential patients as well
Dont go here. My wife and I waited 2.5 hours for a test, with only 20 people in line in front of us and we only got halfway to the front before we had to leave. When we asked why it was taking so long they said it was because they were part urgent care, part dentist and part testing and they could only allow 6 people in the office at one time.
The girls at the front desk super nice, they got me in quickly. The Dr I saw was very nice super efficent, listened to my needs and made sure I was comfortable. It was a very clean and comfortable environment. Definitely recommend going here rather than Presbyterian emergency room.
Horrible customer service /Rude front desk staffI came here to getCov 19 tested with my daughter, the wait was over an hour luckily I had a coat and warm shoes on. They were informing people on the line to fill outThe intake sheet only if you didn’t have a recordSo I filled out myDaughters and not mine becuase I had a record already. I observed The ladyWith blond brownish hair put our paper Clíp behindtwo other clips I found itWeird but decided atThe time to not question her organization.( side note they were informing people of they didn’t have an insurance information available you hadTo pay 125.00 out of pocket ( I guess they don’t follow the rule ofFree cov19 testing in nyc ) . However when we we finally got inside they were allowingfive people per rollCall however there was moreThen five people in the waiting area , once inside we were asked to sit down on available seats . A ladyWith black hair and glasses In the front began calling three people at a time To go back and getTested , This is when I observed that the third person she called was a lady who was two people behind me, The gentleman who was in front of the ladyAs well looked confusedAnd asked the lady with the black hair and glasses (front desk staff) when is he going next because he was in front and if they need identification the lady disregarded his question and asked for his ID and informed him he’ll be calledShorty . At this moment I stood up and was already behindThe guy waiting to address this matter and I know the front desk lady could seeMe waiting behind him (it’s a small waiting area) once she was done with the guy she didn’tEven ask how can I help you , onceI approached the desk she said you can take a seatAs well ma’am you’ll be called shortly, I said really I’m confused because I have over an hour waiting on line in the cold and the lady you called was behind meAnd the gentlemen. Her reply was I alreadyCalled her in I’m not going to tell her to come back out , I followed up and told her this is really rude and unorganized and to be more considerate of how people are outside in the cold waiting, in the end she never apologized and asked for me to sit down and I will be called shortly . I was so furious but I was withMy daughter so I took a few breaths in and out to relax and not go off .HORRIBLE Customer ServiceRude StaffWill Definitely be goingTo a different urgentCare in case of emergencies or any further cov19 testing
Terrible! My dad had a medical emergency, we just went into because the door was open and he almost passed out at the street, two nurses came out and one of them start yelling us NO NO go out we are closed, we said the door was open and my dad has an emergency please can you just check his blood preassure, the nurse or what ever that person is, said NO NO we dont have doctors. You dont need at doctor if you have the blood pressure machine, just help us or call 911. My phone wasnt working at that moment. People like her doesnt deserve a job at this place and not even close to a medical facilites if your door is open and you have phone, or a blood pressure machines you can help!!!!
Stood on a short line outside medrite at 3:38 pm to be exact, was admitted to a empty clinic 1 hr and 15 minutes later. The waiting area was empty the whole 1 hr & 15 minutes I waited outside. After finally being admitted inside my boyfriend still had to wait in the waiting area. Which is fine but to wait another hr!? That’s ridiculous! Then a lady asked what was his name, she was confused and didn’t even find his records. Then finally she has him sit in a room and says “ oh here is your name, no wonder noone called you” like what!!! How disorganized is this place. & no I ain’t done, then he is still in the room waiting while the doctor takes another client saying “ let me take care of you, I know you been waiting for a while” again what!! This client was in the back of the line, we had came in first. After, another client that was behind the line was being taken care of by the doctor. Is currently 6:33 pm & now is that he is taking care of my boyfriend. I dont believe this is the doctors fault because he is just following the order of the names that is given by the receptionist . The girls are just very disorganized & they will answer with an attitude when you ask a question regarding the wait and fairness of him being here prior everyone else. I asked “why is the doctor taking care of them when we came first” she answered “idk who put him in there” i think these girls are beefing one another and they have no communication with one another which causes disorganization. This is a business not just any business but an urgent care. After walking out the clinic I hear a pregnant lady complaining about the same thing we went thru. She said “ I’m pregnant ya make wait outside for an hr, then wait inside and have a bunch of ppl go ahead of me” that confirms I wasn’t crazy these receptionist needs to get it together & be more professional & organize!!! This was at the medrite in dyckman. Also, I just read a couple reviews saying that some people had walked in before closing hours and were told that they were not taking more patients for the day, I see a reply that security cameras were watched & they saw ppl were being taken care off! Thats a lie because I heard it happend today as well. The clinic supposedly close at 7pm, people were walking in around 5ish & were told they werent taking more clients for the day. IF YA DO SEE THE CAMERA JUST KNOW THE PPL INSIDE WERE THE ONES WAITING OUTSIDE FOR MA LONG, how about ya see if new clients were waiting outside or being taken care off cause thats bs ya lying.
Loved it 🤣. The girls in staff are really fast and straight forward no wasting time. The place is hard to see but being the only business in corner under Dyckman 🚉 station for 1 train 🚃 shouldnt be too hard to find.PS : Thank You for putting up with horrible winter ❄️🥶 and plague in that little tent 🎪⛺ to help us . You guys rock
I had a great experience here! As a healthcare professional (unknown to staff), they were knowledgeable, friendly and quick. I didn’t wait around. They were helpful and interested in finding a solution. The PA was a very brilliant professional young lady. I will definitely go back for any urgent issues. Thank you
This was a horrible and poor experience. I think the office needs to rethink protocol as I basically heard what I was there to be examined for spoken out in the waiting room floor repeatedly. The nurse also asked what was wrong with me and then let cutting me off. Do you not want me to explain my symptoms? My wait was also over 1.5 hours and when they didn’t have a tool needed to complete my exam, they tried to convince me I don’t need to go through with it. Why? Because it save them time? But what about my health? Given this exercise I can’t see myself being a regular here.
I went in with my fiancé to get the Covid swab test. I was a little surprised at the number of people admitted to the waiting room but it was by no means packed. Wait time once paperwork was filled out was only about 30 minutes. Time to receive the test was only about 5 minutes for each of us. All of the staff members we interacted with were very kind and professional.
Had to come on here & give them a review. The service was outstanding! Ardiana & Aury are great at their job. Very professional & extremely helpful. Any questions I had, they were ready & willing to answer without a doubt or hesitation. Definitely will go back for any future health needs.__AC
Very helpful and competent staff. Problem is that the need for social distancing and high demand for Covid testing meant a wait of 90 min ouside in intense heat to get tested. You should make appointments for Covid testing and have adequate staffing to accommodate demand.
I went in to have an X-ray of my arm, because I had gotten into an accident. Checked online it says X-rays available. When you walk in the door there is a HUGE SIGN that states X-ray come in. Only to find out that they dont have an X-ray Technician. Thats false advertising and I should report it to the better business bureau. Waste of time and money getting there just to be disappointment. Would not recommend anyone waste there time.
The staff are kind. But the receptionist isn’t wearing a mask. There’s no attempt to enforce social distancing. Patients sit in the waiting room with masks not covering their noses. There is no hand sanitizer. Common items (clipboards and pens) are not sanitized between people. For a place offering covid and antibody testing this is worrying. There’s no excuse for this.
Horrible experience by the front Desk, and it is too bad because I been there before, but today , as soon that I walk in, I say good morning, to the girls in the front desk, never have a respond back, I say again , good morning , they don’t even responded, I say to them I want to do the Covid test for my mom and my son, very Rude they responde “you have to do the line” of course I know I need to do the line I just came inside for if I need to field out a form or any paper work, I don’t think is any reason to be disrespectful or Rude with the people, as a front Desk the most important it is to provide the most amazing experience to the patients because ,we don’t have to pay for the personal problems that they may be carried.
Ive been to this place because it is closer to my house but I didnt like it at all! today my mom went there, the place was basically empty and the receptionist asked her to wait outside in a very rude way!! Also she was like that she couldnt find my mom in the system because she wrote the wrong date of birth, thats why probably she couldnt find my mom in the system as I have her results with the wrong date of birth! so I dont know why they ask to give them the Id and insurance card if they are gonna write patient information wrong
Inefficiency, excessively long waits, misinformation by the door staff, this Center lacks staff for the number of people who require attention. People standing for more than two hours against a wall filthy with vomit and the smell of urine .. It is a shame when we compare this with the services in communities in areas of central and southern Manhattan. If you can find another option ... I recommend it.

2022-05-12I’ve gone to this MedRite location for rapid and PCR COVID tests multiple times. They are reliable and efficient. Medical and administrative staff are competent and professional.Having previously gone in the early afternoon after work when there was always a line, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I went for a PCR test midday yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved that I was in and out quickly. Likewise, I got my result, which I need for an acting gig, in a little more than 24 hours. They have my enthusiastic recommendation!

2022-07-09I love this place. I’ve been here twice and each time I got the care I needed. They’re very friendly and professional. I had an issue with a prescription and they fixed it immediately. Will always go here even if the wait time is long it’s usually not as bad as they say.

2022-05-2545 minutes wait to be told there’s no X-ray technician, when clearly stated that the reason of the visit was an injured finger. No manners, No communication skills from the staff just straight rudeness. Do better!

2022-01-15I have used their services for Covid-19 testing, and my experiences have been extremely positive. Yes, I once had to wait for two hours in the cold, but this is not their fault; they simply cannot accommodate more patients inside during such busy times. Not only was the actual testing process excellent, but the results have been delivered on time, or even unexpectedly early.

2022-01-04Ive been to this place 3 times for covid and covid antibody testing since the pandemic began. Within 2 months all three visits, I receive a call from someone claiming to be the MedRite billing department (3 separate times). This person says they dont have my insurance on file and ask me to provide the information over the phone. I declined to give info and went directly to the clinic. The staff at the clinic said they already have my insurance on file and it was not someone in their office. Besides that, they were completely disinterested in the fact someone had my name, phone number, and the dates I visited the clinic. Its very unsettling.I think theyve either been hacked or one of their staff is leaking patient information to run an insurance scam. Please be very careful if you receive that phone call because the clinic will not assist you. I wont be returning to this clinic for any reason. The clinic itself and the service is adequate. The lines for covid testing are horrendous. How long does it take to swab nostril?P.S. As many of their clients are exclusively Spanish speaking and will not see this review, please translate and share this with your family and friends.

2022-01-11Friendly and clean. No loud music playing so you can hear the Nurses questions clearly. Incredibly patient with the long lines to get Covid tested and I for one am extremely grateful they are there for my neighborhood

2021-12-30Please dont waste your time going here. I waited in line for 5 HOURS in the freezing cold to do a test that takes less than 10 min. Did both rapid and PCR. I understand the demand for covid tests in NYC at this time and Im aware that lines are long at many clinics, but 5 hours is ridiculous. Two of my friends did tests at other locations at the same time as me and waited in line for an hour and a half max.To top it off, I did the test on Thursday (12/23) morning and still havent gotten my PCR (its been one week). Went to the clinic to ask about it and they said theyre so backed up that they dont know when to expect results. Now imagine my frustration when Im relying on those results to go back to work and have to miss another week of work due to this (with no sick pay). I ended up going downtown to get tested again and waited in line for only 15 min.The ladies at the front are nice. But the clinic is lacking efficiency. I will never even think about going back here.

2022-01-08Miscommunication between call-center and site. When I called, they were explicit that they continue to take patients until 8PM. But when I arrived by 6:49 PM, they rejected me because it was after 6:45 PM. They said they stop taking patients at 6:45 PM when they turn off their systems and clean-up.With the lack of flexibility and the inconsistency, I find they were just trigger-happy to wrap up and get home at the expense of patients. However, if it is a genuine cut-off time, it should be consistent between call-center and site - 0 excuse. For the wellness of your patients, get organized. I would have finished work and gone earlier had the call-center informed me differently. I really needed to be seen.
