Meerkat removed an infestation of carpenter ants about 3 years ago. I joined their quarterly maintenance program and have not had another problem.Secondly, we have dealt with mice on and off over several years. I had used other pest control companies(two different) with temporary results. Meerkat took over when the mice returned and I have not seen a mouse since they handled the problem. I highly recommend.
We did not appreciate the fact that we had a bat get into our house! However, we very much appreciated the prompt response and professional service provided by the Meerkat folks. They were at the house ASAP and took care of business…no more bats! Thank you very much!
Where to begin? Starting with the staff answering my calls. Every time I called, someone answered promptly, were courteous and followed through with my request. I sent an email with audio/video of the raccoons in my house and they responded accordingly. The pest control technicians were on time, professional, thoughtful and even informative. We used Meerkat for bat eviction in our eaves, they are a very professional company and you get what you pay for with them! They have a wonderful team of people, and working with Andrew and Cody was a great experience. They went above and beyond to seal every little gap, crack or hole to ensure that the bats wouldn’t be back. They use humane and safe techniques to evict the bats that include one way doors at their main entries, where the bats can safely leave at their own will but are unable re-enter, finding new shelter elsewhere. I am extremely satisfied with our eaves being bat free and I can not recommend them enough!! Thank you Meerkat!!
We had a terrible mouse problem in our rural house that went unresolved after years of pest control service by competitors. We hired Meerkat almost two years ago. They sealed the space between the foundation and the siding and from that time until now there has not been a single mouse. Rather than just putting down traps, Meerkats solution was to keep the mice from getting in. We could not be more pleased. There are 4 service calls during the year to protect against seasonal pests. They are thorough and professional. We highly recommend Meerkat for your pest control issues.
Wonderful professionals (so sorry - dark hair but name slipped my mind) at my house to get rid of bats. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and super through. Even went a step beyond to seal up a small oops left by AC team. And everyone communicates so well!

The technician was courteous, knowledgeable, on time and able to explain what he was trying to do - locate and remove an in ground hornet nest. However, he was not provided with the proper protective clothing by Meerkat. He was not willing to try to dig up the nest without a full bee suit to protect him. I understood his difficulty.The problem was not resolved.
They set traps for mice in the attic but did not find any. They sealed all entrances around the perimeter of the house and sprayed to remove urine trails. They also disinfected the attic and installed a rodent guard under the siding at the back of the house. It is a little early to know if their efforts are successful but so far so good.
We are thrilled to have found Meerkat to solve our mouse problem. So many to show appreciation to. For starters, Nate, project manager inspected who explained to us our options, Dalton who took time to explain the chemicals they used to spray and set traps. To Rick who is in sales who picked up the phone after billing dept was closed for the day. The women who answered the phone who were always polite and helpful. Also Brayden, Operations manager who communicated with email for any any questions or concerns! Finally today, we had the Exclusion System done by D. Cole and K. Williams and they did an amazing job! I would like to share a very positive experience with Meerkat that exceeded my expectations. Each person I spoke with was consistently helpful and put my mind at ease Our technicians were Lynn and Dan who in my experience were amazing,respectful,polite, neat and truly an Employers dreamWe had rodent activity in our attic which was very disturbing. My first call was to Meerkat as I have seen them in our neighborhood and our neighbor stated they fixed her squirrel issue with ease.Aiden arrived on time and introduced himself. He was polite, professional and very vested in his knowledge. He was proud of his companys achievements. He was a great listener before responding. He went into the attic through a small opening in the closet, came down with pictures to let us know it was mice, NOT bats, squirrels or rats. He gave us a few options of how they would rid us of them. I immediately signed a contract which is something I never do.I had forgot I had 3 other estimates from other companies the following day. I politely emailed Meerkat to please hold off and I would give them my final decision the following day which remained in the parameters of their cancellation policy. I of course chose Meerkat even though they were a little higher in price. You just cant beat integrity, 3 year guarantee, work ethic and unmatched service. Cutting corners was NOT an option for usHere are some of the deal breakers with other companies!) have to sign a contract and give a cc before a tech could come out to access the situation....wow2) Another company would only gtd 1 year, and pay a monthly fee of between $70 and $80 He was not sure and didnt seem much interested..wow3) The third company said they only have 1 year gtd as well and it is not necessary to do the inside garage wall that is linked the living space. He said I should go with the 3 year contract which did NOT involve his company. You dont have to tell me twice as MEERKAT was a hands down decision.
Meerkat employees are punctual, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I would recommend this company to anyone who needed assistance with pest control. Steve Bishop was my sales rep and was truthful and trustworthy. Rich Okesson was the service tech. He was so helpful, patient, and kind and took a lot of time to answer all of my many questions. He was very thorough and knowledgeable.
Tanner & Shawn were a great duo. They worked quickly and did an A+ job trapping/fencing out a woodchuck, as well as squirrels on my roof. Most people would be afraid to climb up, but they didn’t hesitate. Highly recommend!
I want to thank Evan and Nick for all of their help with our red squirrel problem. They are very hard working, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They have gone above and beyond over the past few weeks to try to solve the problem. Evan was even nice enough to come out on a Saturday after hearing that we had an issue. He has been in communication with me after each visit, sending pictures of the work that was completed. Carpenter ant infestation up in attic within foam insulation. First dosing killed numerous ants in colony. Both technicians were friendly, efficient and informative. Follow-up in 7 days. So far am very satisfied.
I was concerned about a bug issue in January and it turned out to be nothing but the company was super responsive. The person who answered the phone listened to me and was very attentive to detail and my worries. They sent Aiden out right out away and he did a thorough inspection and was honest with me and didn’t try to push me into a service that I didn’t really need. Fast forward to today — I called the company again because I’m noticing some seasonal bugs (wasps, ants) coming out and I wanted to see what my treatment options were. They sent Aiden again who was very patient with my questions, informative, kind, and did a thorough inspection again. I hate bugs!!!!! Thank you for being understanding and helpful.
Have been using their services quarterly for years — professional, always show up when they say they will, and come back for a free retreat should the first one not quite get the job done. We’ve had carpenter bees, carpenter ants, and a wasp nest over the years and all have been dealt with effectively.

I called Meercat because of all their TV commercials & their 24 hr answering service. They couldnt come asap but several days later. After inspection, Hector came for the applications & Dan & Lyn came for the trim I ordered. All three guys professional, polite & on time when they were expected. Meercat, your guys are great!!!
I am not a customer of meerkat pest control but I was stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire with 2 children in the car. Then out of the blue a meerkat van pulled up to assist me. These awesome gentleman named Dwitt and Kerry showed up and assisted me in changing my tire. They were more then happy to help and didnt even ask for a dime in return. They were quick because they were on the clock but they did my tire in 10 minutes flat and smiled the whole time knowing that they helped me in time of need considering I had to go to a appointment for my little one. This company has to be one of the best pest control business there is considering they werent worried about helping someone in need. 1000000 out of 10. Diwt is the best exterminator in the business! Just bought a house and needed a fast eviction of some pesky Carpenter Ants. Dwit and his partner Showed up on time, EXTREMELY professional, and all around the nicest people you’ll meet. I’ll refer meerkat to everyone because of these two gents. And if you’re wondering, they did a great job and rooted out our ant issue.

Devon removed the bee hive quickly and professionally. He is polite and nice and spontaneously found a leaking place while he cleaned the cobwebs around our house.
I called Meerkat to remove a raccoon that decided to take up residence (and give birth!) in our chimney. There was an initial misunderstanding or schedule mix up, but project manager Joe (I cannot remember his last name) made it right, and the very friendly tech came out the next day to install the trap on top of the chimney. The following day, Field Manager Mark Sheline came out to inspect the trap. Unfortunately, mama raccoon didnt venture out of the chimney, so Mark had to use some tricks to get her into the trap so he could safely remove the days-old babies. Afterwards, he cleaned up the mess left by the raccoons and installed a cap on the chimney. My wife said Mark worked diligently for a couple hours, and she had nothing but praise for him. Theres been no rustling or squeaking coming from our chimney for the past week, and were very thankful to Mark and Meerkat. Everyone we spoke with throughout the process was very friendly, respectful, and professional; wed certainly call Meerkat again for future pest services.

Hana was able to identify what was in my home and walk me through her assessment and recommendations in a way I can understand. We use Meerkat for year round insect maintenance/inspection, they are always exceptional. Kind, very professional, respectful, and happy to answer any questions. We found out in our last inspection that there was an issue with bats. Initial inspection was done by Chris Roman. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done and how they would be handling it. He was really kind, professional and addressed our questions. The initial service was done by Lynn and Evan and they were great! When I saw their work I was blown away. It was left looking brand new - and the whole area was spotless. They both were really professional and did an incredible job. The last part of the job was handled by Matt and Chris and they were also incredible. So professional, answered all our questions, and left everything absolutely spotless. If you are looking for pest control/help with wildlife, I would recommend Meerkat to everyone with confidence. They always handle everything so professionally, and are always very courteous. When we moved to our new house, there was many spiders and other insects. The situation was in a way that my wife was thinking to sell the house and buy new one. A colleague advised me to call Meerkat Pest Control. After 3 months l, there was no insect at house. They are doing their job very well. Just they are a little bit expensive.
Excellent service. The technicians are friendly, hard-working and responsive. They explain things well, and seem really to care that the customer has a good result. During a rain and windstorm, they worked without interruption both inside and outside of the house.

Bats were not only in our home, but actually in our living spaces. It’s a dangerous and unnerving situation that needed to be dealt with immediately. In the Utica area I found no reputable businesses providing bat remediation services. Having lived in the Albany area, I was familiar with Meerkat and contacted them.They said they absolutely provide services in the Utica area and sent a technician in short order. He inspected our home and asked questions, determining how the bats were entering the house and the living spaces. An appointment was scheduled within just a few days with a crew to do the work. After their work we had no more problems! Leveraging their warrantee, we paid a small inspection fee a few years later for them to check things over again and address any issues.A great company to work with. Very responsive, knowledgeable, and reasonable prices. I’d use them again and I highly recommend them.
Ive always been very pleased with the professionalism, clarity, and friendliness of the Meerkat folks who have helped us in the past, and today was no exception. The serviceman (Dalton) from Meerkat was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He was very caring and even helped repair a loose board that was beyond our reach, which the wasps were using to get in. Would definitely use them again, and have been using them for over 5 years. This extermination service is excellent and allows us to live a decent quality of life, bug, pest, and rodent free.
We have occasional mice problems in the basement. Our neighbor mentioned to us that he had mice nests in his basement so his rodent problems were quite serious. Adam was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about services provided. He inspected the work that Meerkat did for us in 2018 when we had an infestation of mice. We had seen a critter in the garage and on the roof and wanted to make sure they were not getting in again. I called initially because chipmunks were invading our newly remodeled home we JUST moved into. They took care of that issue PDQ (pretty darn quick) and then I noticed the carpenter bees. They had to come out again because the rain interrupted one of the treatments. Always professional, always polite, and they always work quickly and efficiently. We have used Meerkat for several years (4 seasons plan) and have been very pleased. The folks at Meerkat are courteous and show up when they’re supposed to. Even better, we have not had any rodent or bug issues. We live in a wooded area and our primary concern has always been mice getting into the house but pleased to say that we haven’t had any issues!

I could go on forever about the positive experience I had with Meerkat. I called in the morning and by the afternoon we had someone out to look at the house. Our inspector spent 2+ hours making sure he checked everything and all concerns were met. Every other person that came out was so polite and they did an amazing job.

I have nothing but good things to say about Meerkat. My house is a second home, which we were not at, when a squirrel showed up inside on my Ring camera. I called the office and spoke to Michael. He was extremely helpful and professional. That was on a Wednesday morning. By Wednesday afternoon Greg was there to inspect the house. He kept me updated on what needed to be done and what my options were. He went out of his way and never pushed the most expensive things I could do to protect my home. By the next day Jason was there taking care of the inside and keeping me informed periodically. Tanner and Mike worked on the outside all day in very cold temperatures to fortify my house. I also could see that on the Ring camera and was very impressed with their work ethic. Because this was a big job with other issues that arose I had to call Mark the Field Manager on two Sundays. He could not have been nicer or more helpful. During that week I called and emailed Lauren numerous times and, like everyone else I dealt with, she went out of her way to help me all the while being extremely pleasant. To say their customer service is exceptional is an understatement. I am very grateful that I decided to contract them to do quarterly inspections.

When we moved into this house, the previous owners had discontinued pest control. Consequently, we had bats, flying squirrels, mice and carpenter bees. Weve been able to discuss various options and approaches to our different challenges in a rural lifestyle as we settled on the services best suited for us. We also like that they are a local family owned business and all their technicians have building trade expertise. They have always arrived during the scheduled visit window and always call us when they are on their way - we appreciate that dependability.
We had a family of squirrels nesting in our attic space at our house and needed Meerkat to come to get rid of them before they caused even more damage. They were FABULOUS! They were able to get us on their schedule within a day, were right on time, I got regular calls about follow-up. Zero complaints in any way! The people who came out both to assess the issue and install the traps/do take away were kind, they answered my questions. Basically just a great experience all around!

Meerkat did a great job. Lauren, the designated Project Manager, was timely and courteous. Adam, who laid down the traps and did the sanitizing, went out of his way to do a thorough job. Tanner and Neil who sealed up the house were meticulous and did an outstanding job. Adam, Tanner and Neil did all the work and were really great guys. Mark, the field manager was very helpful. James, a supervisor and a very smart man, came out to the house and inspected all the work that was done to make it sure it met their high standards. All the people mentioned above were friendly, punctual, professional and great to deal with. I highly recommend the Meerkat Team.
All staff respectful and seem to be well prepared for their assignment. They always came within the time period. They answered Quwstions and explained what their follow up would be. They called each time to set up the visit at a time convenient to me. The job was recently completed so the jury is out on whether or not the mice are gone (so far no mice) a situation that never ocurred with Terminex who never stopped the mice from returning.
These folks are terrific. Weve had a mice problem for years and had previously been with Orkin who would put down a lot of baits, but could never find the source of the problem. The Meerkat team did a really comprehensive review, found the problem and sealed the house up completely. Our house is all concrete and not typical and they had no problem identifying the issues particular to our house. Very professional and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

Worked with Meerkat Pest Control to remove a family of squirrels located in the fascia board of my home. Everyone included (Scheduling Coordinator/Project Manager/ on-site pest control crew) were very professional and completed the job in a timely manner; start to finish. A special thank you to Richie for extending an extra helping hand to ensure the pests were removed. The first trap implemented didnt go as expected. Without hesitation during the next visit, another team member swapped the trap for a one-way exit which allowed the pests to flee the area successfully. I had a problem with yellow jackets in my roof, they started to nest inside the siding, very annoying and scary. Meerkat guys responded on time, they came couple of times, sprayed on the roof and surrounding areas, and the problem is finally gone. I definitely recommend their services.

They responded so fast and they came out and took care of all of the crazy wildlife that we had trying to live in our house (groundhogs, mice and two kinds of squirrels). I discovered I had bats in my attic when they started flying around in my house. I called them on a Thursday, they came promptly on Friday, and came to do the work on Monday, and completed it. Amazing service, especially wonderful when you have bats in your house!
We contacted Meerkat for help in getting rid of mice. From the initial call through several house visits to evaluate, set traps, follow-up, etc. we were very pleased by the curteous and professional service we received. We also like very much that they provide a warranty for their work. I highly recommend this company.
All the folks from Meerkat were pleasant to deal with and easy to talk to. They did a good job of inspecting the house and pointing out the signs of the mouse infestation and described the different choices we had in taking care of the problem. We were very happy with how the installation and trapping was done. They showed up on time for all three scheduled visits. So far we are no longer hearing the sounds of tiny feet scurrying above the ceiling.
I am very impressed with the service we have received from Meerkat. About 3 months ago we had an issue with squirrels in both mine and our neighbors attic (townhouse). Meerkat agreed to charge one fee for both units which i did not expect. They set up their traps and within a few days the squirrels were no more. A few days ago my neighbor heard something scurrying around in the attic again. I called Meerkat to let them know and within a few hours they had gotten back to me and scheduled another field visit. Ben, who was at our house the first time, showed up and did another full roof inspection to check for squirrel entry points. He then went into my neighbors attic and set up traps for possible mice. He also gave me a few traps to set up in my attic just in case (even though we had not seen or heard anything in our unit). There was no mention of any fee for this follow up visit and they have scheduled someone to come out again in a few days to check the traps. Everything was taken care of under the 6 month warranty. Whenever they have come to the house they have been more then patient with any questions we have and they have always been very friendly. I highly recommend these guys.

We highly recommend Meerkat pest control. We had a serious carpenter ant and carpenter bee issue at our home. During our initial appointment the service technician took extra time to explain the process. We ended up purchasing the year plan which gave us an initial treatment and four subsequent treatments. The technicians are very nice and were very receptive with an additional issues that we had. We did have one hiccup on a visit, a technician showed up and left before the scheduled appointment. It was simply a miscommunication on both ends and they came back out the following day and treated. I would recommend this company.

The team was professional, communicative and prompt with the initial trapping and sealing work, but when the squirrels continued to get into the attic, they eventually just gave up. Not exactly the guarantee that I thought I was paying (too much) good money for and Ive since hired a small business pest control company to get it done right.Needless to say, Ive given up on Meerkat for both pest removal and their four-season pest protection services and would not recommend their services.

I wish there were 10 stars to rate Meerkat, because after my experience, they deserve it!Long story short.. As I was preparing for guests to arrive Thanksgiving week, I had a problem with yellow jackets in my spare guest room. Unknown how they were getting in, I tried bee spray for two days, but they were still entering somehow. I needed to get rid of this problem prior to the arriving guests. A friend utilized Meerkat previously and recommended I call them. So I did call Meerkat the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I explained my dilemma, they assured me they would come to evaluate the issue, and provide a treatment. Much to my surprise, a few short hours later a technician arrived at my home, inspected the room in question and did a treatment. It WORKED! No more bee’s!Based on the customer service I experienced on the phone and the polite and knowledgeable technician that provided the service, Meerkat will get any future business of mine, and I’ll recommend them to friends and business associates.Thanks Meerkat you made a stressful situation a simple walk in the park!

Meerkat is really a great company. They helped us for bats and bees in the past and have always been excellent to deal with. Theyve even gone above and beyond to help us out with the bees. The first time I had an issue I had only ever heard of cats eye so I called them first. They tried to up sell me and were very pushy. I was glad when I found out about Meerkat because they were so much better to deal with and had much better pricing. You really cant go wrong with them. Good people work there.
We had issues with carpenter ants so we decided to contact Meerkat. The technician came out, assessed our home and yard, provided clear and concise information on what was found and our options. Now we have them come out every 90 days to service our yard and home. The best part was, they determined the source of the carpenter ants and treated that area as well (a tree right by our fence). No more carpenter ant problems! I highly recommend Meerkat, they are professional and fair.

We bought a home in Albany in August 2019 and despite having a home inspection, we discovered that there were undetected pests (field mice, carpenter ants and small ants). Meerkat has been treating for the ants since August 2019. They have done the treatments in a timely fashion and we havent had any trouble since. They were also able to immediately identify the entry point for the mice and repaired it. We have not had a mice issue since that initial service. In addition, they were able to trench under our porch and humanely evict a skunk that had taken up residence there! Thanks to their trenching, the skunk has moved on to find an easier place to make its home. The pricing is reasonable for the subscription service and their responsiveness and professionalism has been reliable and reassuring.
Meerkat did a great job of getting rid of mice in my home. They set traps, put a metal guard around the base of my house and came back to inspect. They all were very professional and timely.
We called Meerkat when my wife and I first bought our home. We were having an issue with box elder bugs and those really small ants. When We called meerkat, they came over for a free evaluation. Their price was a little steep but we went with them and we are glad that we did. We have been happy with their services and the technicians are always really nice and knowledgeable. They always arrive within the time window given, always take their time and address any concerns they have and always recommend other services and products for more protection. We have had no issues with the pests returning since their visit. We now have a service plan with them for quarterly visits. Highly recommended.

One of the best things about the company was that I dealt with the same 3 or 4 people at my property and in their office. First word that comes to mind is fantastic! Then awesome, trustworthy, knowledgeable, diligent! We had super bionic squirrels in our attic that laughed at all of our home remedies. Called a pest control company in Kingston that barely looked the place over, stuck his head in the attic and said we had mice and gave us a ridiculous contract to sign. Thank God we called Meerkat for a second opinion. They went up in the attic and gave a thorough inspection, agreed it was squirrels, sealed off the holes and started the eviction process almost immediately. Had 1 squirrel that was a real outlaw and refused to leave and Meerkat just kept coming out and adjusting their equipment until even this guy was history. Absolutely fantastic customer service!!! Despite a few bumps in the road which were not company’s fault, Meerkat has been great to work with. They have been out multiple times to address any issues and concerns. Johnny and his team were very friendly. They answered any questions I had and explained what they were going to be doing each day they came out. They never rushed to get the job done! They made sure it was done right! Field manager Mark came out and was extremely friendly and accommodating! He made sure everything was done properly and was even on the ladder helping his guys work! We fell into Meerkat after being long and loyal customers of CatsEye Pest Control. When CatsEye sold to Terminix, we were disappointed to lose our technician Ryan in the transition. Its not the quality of the business. Its the quality of the comments. No one on these reviews have stated whether their problems of rats, squirrels, bat, etc. had been solved. Just that Meerkat came, they were professional, and thats it. That doesnt tell me anything.
Working with Meerkat has been so easy! We just bought our first house and in cleaning out found tons of mouse droppings and carpenter ants...not exactly what you want to see within the first days of owning a home.We contacted Meerkat and Mike got back to us quickly with great information to help us set up an inspection. We had a problem with box elder bugs, which were swarming on the front of our house in the fall, after which they evidently wintered in our walls with occasional bugs entering the house. Meerkat diagnosed this correctly and although I was not crazy about the solution of treating the house three times a year-- a bit expensive-- it worked and almost certainly was necessary. Meerkat responded professionally and promptly when needed, for example returning to respray when we still saw bugs after a treatment. Very professional outfit and they know what theyre doing.
Called Meerkat Pest Removal to help a bat problem. No meerkats showed up, only some guy who claimed he was a professional. Very disappointed. I don’t have bats anymore, but I never got the company of a meerkat either.

After moving into my new home in July 2019, I realized that I had a field mouse problem. Meerkat came out to my house in September 2019 and did a trap and seal. The men that came to my home were very polite, knowledgeable and efficient! They explained to me everything that they were doing and why. My husband and I recently had an issue with grey squirrels located in the wall between the first and second floor of our home. We were unsure who to call and then remembered an ad we saw on tv for Meercat. We called and within 1 day Rich came out and met with us to go over our options. He was very friendly, professional, and helpful. He explained the situation and treatment plan thoroughly. Due to our situation, multiple service visits were required to ensure all of the squirrels were trapped. Traps were placed and the access points were sealed. Rich recommended we call a tree removal service to come to help remove the easy access for the squirrels to prevent further damage to our home as we live in a wooded area. The whole process was so easy- they called to schedule the service and the technicians sent a report after every visit. I like the fact that the initial inspector who recommends the solution will walk you through physically and show you their work at completion. After the initial service to our property in early May we followed Meerkats recommendation and had more extensive preventative treatment of ourproperty completed, and we are delighted with the results. Rich negotiated a contract we were pleased with, and Victor and DWitt arrived the following Thursday to then spend the afternoon completing the soil injections around the entire perimeter of our house and other preventative measures to protect against carpenter ants. The results of the latter service were immediate, eliminating any evidence of carpenter ants around our property. We are confident the termite activity in our garage will be eliminated over the next three months, which is the amount of time it was explained is required to be completely effective. As I closely observed Victors and DWitts work, it was really first rate and thorough.And the level of technical expertise, clear explanations, as well as thorough work is greatly appreciated. After we noticed swarmers on the edge of our garage Meerkat installed termite monitoring bait traps around our property as the first stage in a system that can identify the presence of termites and then be used to exterminate them. After I discovered the presence of termite activity in our garage Meerkat investigated and recommended soil injections around the perimeter of my garage to eliminate subterranean termites that are doing the damage. The soil treatment injections are due to be completed in the next few days. One of the best things about working with Meerkat is the customer service -- its personnel quickly responds to phone calls and schedules service calls promptly, and all our questions are answered to our satisfaction on the phone and during service calls to our property. Rich, Joe, and Victor have always been friendly and eager to explain any parts of the process being used to eliminate our termite problem. Going forward I expect this quality and level of service to continue and for the termites to be eliminated efficiently. I will post other reviews as the work continues.

They handled the pest issue and I highly recommend them. From Patrick taking the call, to Devlin who dispatched the workers, both Ben and Corey came back to check the space, and they showed me their work, and believe me it was thorough. Ive even taken the initiative to have some additional work done with them due to their professionalism. First class service.

Meerkat came out and assessed our situation, why what was being done wasn’t working, and what we could do differently. We signed up with them that day and haven’t had a mouse since. I called them originally to take care of a flying squirrel problem, they did such a good job I signed up for their quarterly service and have been with them ever since. The service is exceptional, from the office to the technicians. If I have any problems between quarterly visits all I have to do is call and theyre on it.I was out of town for my winter service last month and my driveway ( 400 long and steep) was snowed in and gate locked. The tech carried his equipment up the driveway and performed the service.Exceptional service and excellent value.
I did a ton of research on different companies before deciding to call Meerkat and I am certain I made the best decision. Rich did the initial inspection on my home and quickly identified the problems and clearly explained to me what work they would be doing to rid my home of birds and carpenter bees. He was friendly and wasnt pushy. Andrew and Tyler have been the technicians coming to my home to complete the work and they have been great as well. I am unable to be home when they come out, but they call every time and explain what theyre going to be doing before they get started. We have used Meerkat on two previous occasions. First, squirrels had set up a walnut-husking party in our garage attic and Meerkat thoroughly cleaned the mess and installed barriers at potential entrance points. On the second occasion, they properly diagnosed critters in the walls as flying squirrels and successfully resolved that problem. In both cases, their expertise was significant, they efficiently and professionally completed the work, and we had no further problems.

Today was my mothers funeral and we were in a procession to the cemetery and a meerkat guy wouldnt let me go the funeral director stopped asked him dont you see the procession, the guy said fk you and drove on 23b towards green Street in Hudson. People are showing no signs of respect and I think it shows poorly on meerkat company. I would Never hire them, and wouldnt recommend them. Not professional.
We initially called Meerkat for a mole infestation in our backyard. They were at our house the next day and we able to do so after hours to work around our rather inflexible schedules. In the process of assessing for moles, Joe also noticed a section of siding that must have recently fallen off our garage and stayed late in to the evening to inspect the attic, finding a squirrel and mouse infestation in the process. They did a significant amount of work over the following month. Their service was great and technicians were fantastic (and dog friendly). We could not be happier with their service. After a bad experience with another company who were unable to actually get rid of the carpenter bees in my garage I called Meerkat. Not only did they resolve the issue on the first visit, they are friendly, knowledgeable, and they show up when they say they will. We have since signed a quarterly contract for pest control. We having been using Meerkat for a few months now and I have been extremely impressed. If you are looking for a pest control company, Meerkat is the one to call! We have had many problems with flying squirrels over the years and had tried other companies which never totally solved our problem. Meerkat is a company that stands behind their work. When you have an appointment with them they keep it and come on time. Rich, the inspector is very knowlegable and professional. He does a great job explaining what needs to be done and why. He also made sure that we received the service we need as quickly as possible. Our flying squrirrel problem was finally solved! So do your yourself a favor, and just them first. They know what they are doing! And they do what they need to do really well!
Company does a great job with carpenter ants and spiders! We had a bad ant issue last August and ever since we started services we dont get issues anymore. The office staff is pretty flexible with scheduling which is nice because I rarely can keep the original appointment time they give me! They never have a problem fitting me in when I have a conflict !
The front office/woman who answered my call was incredibly kind, and the man who came out to examine and give a quote was great—kind and knowledgeable. We didn’t end up needing exterminator services for our problem (carpenter bees in a utility pole at the rental we’re moving from soon) and he was totally open and honest about it.

Bought our first house and on our first day in it we started hearing scratching in the walls behind the chimney. Called Meerkat due to the numerous positive reviews. The guy who came out was extremely thorough and found the problem was flying squirrels and how & where they were getting in. We had the house sealed and trapped by Meerkat. Havent had any issues with rodents since.In these first months owning a house Ive had to make many service type calls for various work. Meerkat has been the most professional, on-time, and easy to work with by far.
I never write reviews or testimonials but in this case, Rich Stazio and John, Jesse, and Nick of his Meerkat team really deserve to be praised. Im co-owner of a six-unit apartment building in Troy and have had problems on two separate occasions with squirrels and rodents...not anymore. Right from the first phone call to Patrick to the last shake of the hand, quality of workmanship and customer service has been their priority. They do what they say, and in a very timely manner. I especially liked their personal touch which meant taking time when each phase of the job was completed to talk on a one-to-one basis. Great job guys!
Meerkat came out to look into what turned out to be a minor mouse issue in our attic. They came within 2 days of calling. every one of the service people who came was right on time when they said theyd be here, always super nice and explained everything they saw and did. Happy to be continuing to work with them for ongoing maintenance and bug spraying.
Excellent service. Very quick response time, friendly staff. I had originally called another company to help me with a carpenter ant situation, but they were unable to get to me for another week. Meerkat was prompt in responding to our needs. The raccoon and babies evacuated before traps were needed. They adjusted our contract and were extremely professional and helpful. I will definitely call them again when and if the time comes
I am extremely happy with the amazing service I received. Very appointment was on time and extremely nice they were caring and explained everything they were doing. Quick, polite, efficient, and effective. When we called Meerkat with persistent pests in our walls and attic, they came out right away for a consultation. Upon agreeing to proceed with their treatment process, Meerkat scheduled the team to come out within days. The team was always polite while on-site at our house. We have now been nearly 3 weeks without any sign (or sound) of mice/pests. While we havent had the need to, Meerkat has stressed many times that if our mice issue comes back, theyll return to make sure everything is remedied.

I have an older multi-family home and found a mice problem. I called 3 pest companies for estimates. Meerkat was fast to respond with an immediate consultation around my already hectic schedule and were there that night. The pricing was great and because I am a bug (no pun intended) I had them quote my home, multi-bay detached garage and yard. Problem solved, mice removed, entry point found and sealed in no time. That was a little over 2 years ago and now I have them come quarterly for preventative maintenance of mice as well as well general bug/rodent. Not one issue since. They always provide excellent and friendly service. Technician has gone out of their way to get in touch with me to ensure they can get access to rear of property, which they otherwise couldnt because we have a townhouse. We use them as a preventative measure every quarter and have never had any problems with what we treat for, though my neighbors, who arent clients, have had multiple issues. Money well spent as far as Im concerned.

Everyone from the customer service manager Amber, customer representative Michael to the inspector Jake--to the technicians Russell and Matt--to the operations manager James was very polite, knowledgeable and professional. My mouse problem was solved in a very organized timely way. My house has been sealed up where there were gaps so mice cannot enter . Every visit was well organized and on time. Needed to have the professionals at Meerkat come out for some rodent issues that were too big to handle on my own. The entire staff from the office personnel to the pest control technicians that come to the location are great. The are all very friendly, professional and care about their customer. My husband Erik and I just came back to our Glenmont home from a long vacation, and we found dead wasps all over the house AND a HUGE wasp hive inside our kitchen pantry, all inside the house -- unbelievable! Needless to say, we were very upset and scared, too! Just imagine all these wasps and a large hive INSIDE your house! We googled for possible company to call, and we were very fortunate to choose Meerkat Pest Control. The service was fast, very professional, and everything you would hope for from a reliable business. We called Meerkat about noon on Tuesday, November 17, and Jake, a representative, came to our house right away. He was very professional, polite, and most importantly in a situation like this, very reassuring. In a few hours a person who did the actual removal of the hive, Russ, came and in about an hour the hive and the wasps were gone! We were very grateful and relieved. The entire process from our call to finish took just a few hours. The work was done very professionally, all the mess was cleaned up, there was no bad smell from the chemicals that were used to kill the wasps, the hive was removed entirely and the hole in the pantry ceiling was patched with a tape (we now have to find a handyman to fix the sheet rock ceiling -- but this is not a companys job). We highly recommend this company if you have a pest problem, especially anything connected with wasps etc. And we are sure they will do a good job on other pests, too.
I had dealt with a mouse problem in my basement for the 2 1/2 years that I have resided in my home. I met with a rep from Meerkat in the fall and he presented me with options to deal with my problem. We were very pleased with Meerkat Pest Control and Critter Removal. The whole experience was a positive. Rich, Meerkat Inspector was very Knowledgeable in explaining about mice, bats and flying squirrels. He answered all our questions regarding the work that it would occur to seal up our house. The two man crew that performed the work were very professional and showed up when they said they would. If I have any further needs for pest control, Meerkat will be the company I call.
Meerkat is dedicated to finding the solution to your nuisance wildlife. It started with a few bats in the attic and since then we have hired them to take care of all our insect and pest control every year. If you have any problems after treatment, they follow through on their agreement. Great competent service!
Called Meerkat for a carpenter ant issue. Their response time was very quick and our initial inspection was very thorough. We decided to go with the interior and exterior service and just had our 2nd application about a week ago. I am still seeing ants inside my home, but I am hopeful that they go away once we give the application the allotted time to work. One thing I would recommend is that the tech call when he is about 15 minutes away from the customers house. I planned to be there for the second exterior application between the 3-5pm range they gave but the application was already done by about 2:45pm. Prices are steep, but hopefully it takes care of the issue.
Excellent service from start to finish. Fair price . Furthermore, the staff were all knowledgeable, professional, courteous and communicated each step of the process clearly. I live in a country setting and I have never been successful at keeping the mice out permanently. In 3 visits, Meerkat solved my problem. They clearly take pride in their work and it shows in everything they do.
I had an emergency with small bees invading my home. I was pretty hysterical and called meerkat. The contact lady was so sympathetic and reassuring and in about one and a half hour a young man Ryan was at my door. He was amazing and went above and beyond to fix my problem. I will be using meerkat from now on.

2022-06-21Had a brand new beautiful deck installed and we are in love with it...unfortunately so are those damn carpenter bees. These things were a nonstop battle on my old deck, and I wasnt about to let this brand new deck get swiss cheesed, not after the money I spent getting this thing on. Meerkat Pest Control did two treatments in early June and we have seen a MASSIVE improvement in the amount of carpenter bees around the deck. Weve been warned that its going to take multiple treatments every so often to stay on top of it. Decided to get a quarterly treatment plan to do just that. I think with a brand new deck like this, its well worth it. If these treatments are as effective as the first couple then Im fine with spending the money!

2022-06-01All of the specialized teams were very good and made me feel comfortable about their work . The appointments were timely and everyone knowledgeable and they explained everything very well. I felt comfortable with them in my home with my animals and when I was not there. They were excellent at cleaning up as well .they removed all of the insulation from my crawl space and had to take it out my front door! I would recommend them to anyone. You get what you pay for and peace of mind is a large part of that .

2022-05-23I paid for service that I was told would be done within a few days. They then said it’s not possible and it will be pushed out. I was assured by the seller that he would make it happen.The representative was courteous but I was not happy that it would take longer than desired and stated.The company did their best to make the house safe for my family until they could get the whole project done. I appreciated the efforts.
