This park can be reached from the Erie Canal trail or by car off Winton right by 590. There are asphalt paths that lead to baseball and soccer fields, a childrens playground, and tennis courts. Bathrooms are available too. Then there is a trail that leads you through a wooded, marshy area. You should be on the lookout for the many American Bluebird boxes. Paths are welcome to dogs on a leash.
The eastern half of the park is cut fields, with a lot of the area marked off for a variety of sports. In the western half, there are some nice trails going through the woods and some undeveloped fields (except for the trails). If youre looking for a longer walk, the park also has access to the Erie Canal Heritage Trail as well.Since most of the park is open field, and not covered by trees or pavilions, make sure youre prepared to be out in the sun most of the time when visiting.
Annual Town of Brighton 4th of July Fun & Fireworks. Always a good time, rain or shine, to enjoy the evening with plenty of fun, food, music and of course the fireworks spectacular! Brighton Police and Fire departments on hand for safety and directing traffic at close. Plenty of parking but also very friendly for bikers and walkers coming off the Canal.

2020-05-30Nicely manicured fields. 2 baseball fields and a softball field. Theres a nice clean brick building as a restroom. A lot of parking spaces. Theres also a hidden tennis court behind the trees.

2019-05-21Mud! My gosh, its been a swamp there for weeks going on months. Drainage issue maybe, but its nasty. The restrooms are usually open which is nice, they have some small bleachers that have an obscured view of the field by the yellow bumper on top of the fence. Its just ok at best, unpleasant if its rained in the past 3 months.

2021-07-18Cute little playground (all new since may 2021) baseball, lacrosse & soccer played here... Has hiking trail and connection to the Erie Canal and a tennis court. Plenty of parking and a good place to catch the fireworks during the Fourth of July celebration. There are bathrooms there but open only during late spring til end of summer season and possible only open during game times...but may be open all the time through the good weather.

2019-04-13My workplace is adjacent to the park. This is a typical town park, with several soccer fields and several very nice youth-only baseball fields. There is also a decent playground for young children. There are several short woodland hiking trails that connect to the Erie canal. Overall, a nice place for a picnic or to take the young children for some fresh air. No pavilions, but there is a nice restroom building.

2018-04-27Great outdoor area. Playground for children comfortable with climbing (no swings though). Wooded nature trail through wooded area (a bit difficult with strollers). Multiple recreational fields look to be well maintained. Access to and from the canal path. Restrooms available on site.

2021-04-27Directions on google dont take you to parking....the only place is found was an office building parking lot that backs up to the park. Nice little park! Nice path to walk on / bike on too!

2018-09-24Enjoyable walk. This park has much to offer anyone who attends. There is a soccer field and a baseball field. There is also path that leads up to the canal or wanders through the woods. The paths are very well maintained.
