Not so great experience on my visit to this location. The wait was long for no good reason considering how many employees they had working at the time. Not to mention that someone was sent on a break while there were so many ppl waiting. The attitude of the young lady helping me wasn’t pleasant at all. She seem pretty irritated by my questions concerning my purchases.
I love the location it has a big selection of phones. However the people that work at the store are very disrespectfull. They are talking and laughing to each other while taking care of costumers I wanted to upgrade my phone and had questions, but when I told them i wasnt going to buy a phone for the moment, i was told to wait for another worker to takecare of me. What? If you buy a phone they be helpfull. I have notice changes simillar to this since 2 years ago.
This store is really shady. Spent 30 minutes instore with representative and manager? to look through my phone to see it is over 90 days which I think violates my privacy, than call my mobile provider if my account is over 90 days. I can accept all this but why did the rep say its mandatory insurance on the phone? I also find out they added nameid for the iphone which doesnt even work for the iphone???I should have walked out but you spend 15 minutes waiting them to verify your account and port the number to say, insurance is required; What can you do?!???!
Well , I do have a lot to say . If you EVER find yourself at the MetroPCS on 115th St. and Lexington Ave BUYER BEWARE. Make sure that you record your entire encounter because when it comes to taking your money they will promise you the world and hide behind the lies! Make sure you understand that youre getting a refurbished phone and believe you me, the workers push the additional insurance on these phones and you know WHY ?? Well I will tell you BECAUSE THEY ARE SO SO DEFECTIVE AND MOST BREAK ONCE YOU HAVE THEM CONNECTED ! The store on 115th St. Im not sure is a Corporate Store and if it is SHAME ON YOU !! I WILL SAY THIS ... THANK YOU TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. They do the best job and offer wonderful help and if it were not to them Kudos to Brian , one of the CS guys , I dont know what troubles these store would have. I have learned from experience and I hope when and if you do decide to go to a MetroPCS store , dont go to the one I went to . If you do make sure your on top of your game. ... Good luck
Quite frankly, considering my wife and I have had problems with every device ever sold to us from this concern, my theory is there is a gold, virtually trouble-free standard that is going to cost you some money. And then, there are places like M/PCS, that has managed to imperfectly clone the essential technology with similar looking devices offering cheaper, troublesome, knockoff-like performance. The facial expressions of Oh-another-one-of-those, Custserv reps are such that these on-going problems are expected and unsurprising. In 3 of the most recent attempts, I was unable to get the manager to simply acknowledge the new cell I had purchased for my wife, was an inferior discontinued model far worse than the troublesome model that was stolen. A turn-over in staff and store renovation has made stating my case coherently absolutely impossible.I cannot wait to get my hands on a normal fully-functional cell from a reputable
Horrible experience, Non experience Cellphone, Traded in phone Office did not have own WiFi used employee Phone, I lost important Data because inexperienced Tecs in addition I was Charged for a phone never worked, I still have issues with new ZTE in which was not setup, the Staff was argumentive and lack of support and insulting to me and they mislead me. After multiple visits and cell calls for Assistance on Products TOTAL DISSATISFIED WILL BE CHSNGING CARRIERS NEXT BILLING! I WOUKD LIKE A REFUND! IN ADDITION I DID NOT RECEIVE TOTAL REFUND OF CELL PHONE PARTS AND THE BOX. I LOST DATA AND I LOST MONEY NOT HAVING ANY COPIES.
My phone had dropped out of my hand the day my husband died in the glass broke because the so-called manager said there was no glass protectors which it was his mistake there was so I had to get a second phone and I got screwed for it when it should have only been $25 they charge me for a whole setup and lied about prices and didnt want to download phone numbers or nothing else and it was their fault at all they had to do is go and look in the back and find a glass protector but they were too lazy I swear this is the truth I would swear it in a court of law which Im thinking about it because you Services changed uptown I have helped you help stop the lawsuit for you guys and I thank you for the free battery but to be so lazy not to look

2020-11-28I understand Metro is trying to keep cost down. Cutting back on employees salaries is one to cut cost.Metro must realise that they cut salaries they will not be able to hire responsible, educated Adults to work as Managers, especially as night Managers.By doing this Metro is cutting their own throats.Metro customers and service members are not receiving the service they are paying for.Whenever customers dont feel they are receiving the Customer care they are paying for. They will definitely switch cell phone providers.Metro needs to hire Adult managers that know how to treat their clients in a more Professional way.

2016-01-26This Corporate MetroPCS Store was very helpful! I was at this location about 2 weeks ago regarding information of my current phone issues. I had purchased my phone from an Authorized Dealer store. The employee I spoke with on the day of my visit is named Chris. He was very helpful and informative regarding my questions and inquiries of my phone issues. Chris even went as far as reaching out to the store that I purchased phone from to speak with the store manager. Even though he was unable to reach that stores manager (employees there claimed there was no manager at store and were unable to provide their store managers contact info), he was still able to direct me to the appropriate process to help with my phone problem. The wait time was no more than 15 minutes to be assisted at this corporate store. This store is without a doubt reliable and they sell only certified MetroPCS phones. Fortunately, unlike many Authorized Dealer stores, this corporate store stands behind the products they sell and honor the manufacturers warranty that comes with the phones they sell. Also unlike Authorized Dealer stores, this business is not out to get your money but rather to assist you any way they can regardless of getting money or not from you. This is the experience I had when assisted by MetroPCS employee Chris. My sincere advise is to go to stores like this one (NOT Authorized Dealers) if you want quality customer service and a reliable and decent overall transaction of all of your MetroPCS needs and services.

2020-10-03Mario, the Retail Associate Manager, is a awesome guy. Hes made my transactions simple and enjoyable. Ill be grateful when my original store on 125th and Adam Clayton Powell (7th Avenue) reopens.
