Despite Ford CEO Jim Farley publicly denouncing the practice of price gouging, this dealer is still doing it. MSRP is 31K, actual price is 46K. Its exactly what you would expect from that stereotypical sleezy used car dealership, trying to take advantage of people through dishonest sales. Ill wait 5 months and pay sticker, or even a little over sticker. but 50% over the cars actual value is egregious.
Metro Ford got me in for a NYS inspection at a moment’s notice. At first glance it was a fairly standard experience - quick, easy check-in and they provided timely updates on my vehicle’s progress. Where they excelled, in my opinion, was in the level and detail of service provided. I appreciated the video the technician texted me detailing the inspection process. I was able to see who completed the inspection, information about his industry experience, and I was even given the option to have my car appraised for trade in. Most importantly, I could see with my own eyes that my car’s systems are in good working order. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles here from now on!We liked them so much we purchased a new vehicle from them when I totaled mine a few months after I shared this review. They’ve serviced both our vehicles - including a collision repair - many times since and every time is a breeze!
Sales people are great but when it comes to servicing your vehicle they dont stand behind it. bought a truck from them a month later before we even made the first payment started having issues with it wanted me to use the warranty on it wanted to charge me a co-payment want you to start using your warranty before you make your first payment not real happy with the quality of service people in the service center are rude will never go back !
The Staff was great - True the people are great - they sell cars they have to be. But they charged a crazy amount for labor to replace the starter on my 2015 F150, $600 in labor, $100 in parts. Ive done a few starters - it takes about an hour laying on your belly in the driveway. Then when I went to pick it up the truck, it was dead and needed a jump, they left the lights on ... they couldnt find jumper cables. The people said they we sorry and again they are nice. but to have to jump your own pretty new truck in the dealer parking lot, then pay 700bucks - thats a hard pill to swallow
Best experience at a dealership considering the last time i bought a car from a dealership they sold me a lemon.. but here they are on top of everything. Sales Associate AJ is top notch dude, takes care of his customers. Highly recommend this place for your vehicle purchase.
Spoke directly to the mechanic that worked on my vehicle, roger. He was very helpful and explained exactly what I would need to fix my car and how much it would cost as well as how long it would take. My car was ready before he said it would be and it cost less than what we had discussed. Very happy with my experience here. Will definitely be taking my car here again and would highly recommend it to anyone who is weary of dealerships.
I had an 8AM appointment to get an oil change, tire rotation, NY inspection, plus a recall issue taken care of. I was all checked in within 5 minutes of arriving, I was updated on the status of the work both electronically as well by the service department. The work was done very quickly and at a price that was far lower than of I’d have gone to one of the oil change places in the area. Overall I am pleased, but one thing I wish they would do is include a car wash, many other local dealerships have done that and it is such a great perk!
The manager tried every trick in the book to nickel and dime the transaction. Then they were supposed to pay off the last 2 payments on my previous lease. They took so long to do so and fought me over it until they did, the lease company turned me in to creditors and my credit dropped 100 points. Easily the worst experience in my 25 years of dealing with dealerships.
Made an online appointment to have several things done on my car, when I dropped it off the prices they quoted me were insane! I opted not to have it detailed for $200, but left it for an inspection and to diagnose a problem I was with the shocks. Failed inspection due to bad brakes, and was told nothing was wrong with the shocks. The price on the brakes was too high so I ended up picking it up with no work done, but still had to pay $75.They wont be seeing me again, I will drive a little further to find someone I feel I can trust.
I am disgusted with the deceitful and unethical business practices of Metro Ford. I valued my trade with their online program, they sent me an email with an offer that I was accepting of. After the test drive I was willing to make the purchase. They came back with the trade offer of $12K less than what they sent in the email! The truck was immaculate and had no issues or accident history. I also had multiple offers and knew ball park what to expect. I can understand a few thousand dollars of wiggle room but not $12K. I spoke to their manager and he said he could not explain why there was such a gross discrepancy in price. He compared my valuation as a Covid vaccine failure saying that 99% of the people have good results and I was the one that was not. Fortunately I went to Coggins Ford in Bennington VT and they offered over most evaluations. I purchased the vehicle on the spot from Coggins Ford!
Definitely will NEVER do BUSINESS with them. Walked in and got DAN as a salesperson. He was on his phone the entire time, ignorant and unprofessional. Worst customer service Ive ever had. If you want to sale a vehicle, dont be on your phone the entire time and be ignorant. Will NEVER BE BACK.
Used car purchase (or lack of) - remotely agreed on a trade in price and purchase price. to late in the day to close on a vehicle. scheduled to come close on the vehicle the next day. before we arrive Yvonne replies that its being sold. negotiations and setting up a time to buy in person means nothing to metro ford. typical used car dealership. doesnt honor a verbal/digital agreement but rather sells to whoever is there now.
I just leased my second truck from Metro Ford and it was the easiest auto purchase/lease I have experienced in thirty years of buying/leasing cars. Nicole was very professional and understood I was not interested in spending alot of time on this, so she worked to provide the best deal up front and expedited the process. I highly recommend.
Shout out to AJ and Robby at MetroFord Schenectady for how awesome they were yesterday! Went in telling them I wanted a sedan and what ones I was looking at. AJ helped me pick out the one that was in my price range and was extremely patient while answering all of my questions.Robby was just as patient with me and helped me figure out what warranties I could afford and keep me within my price range for my vehicle. He didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need and was just as patient with me while I randomly asked questions.I highly recommend that if anyone is thinking of getting a vehicle to make the trip to Metro Ford in Schenectady. They treat you like a person there and not like just another sale.
I purchased a brand new 2020 Ford F-350 Tremor and dealt with Bill Marincic in the finance Dept. The buying process couldn’t have been any simpler. After having the truck for only 6 days I heard a noise coming from the transmission. I contacted Bill and he said get it into a Ford dealership ASAP! I had travelled 2 hours away to buy the truck from Metro. I told Bill I would rather have them look at it and he said no problem ! When do you want to bring it in ? They set me up with a loaner 2021 Ford Explorer sport. Then I was introduced to Jerry Dariano who is the service manager: Jerry told me we will thoroughly check your truck out and get back to you . So after 2 days I speak to Jerry and Ford ends up telling them it is normal. Jerry agreed with me that the noise was not normal and had his techs drop the pan . When they dropped the pan they noticed metal shaving in the pan! A new transmission was ordered and installed . Total time the truck was there was only 10 days! I wanted to thank both Bill and Jerry for really going the extra mile! It made the 2 hour trip well worth it! Metro Ford should be proud to have these two gentleman on their management team! If your in the market for a new truck , car or SUV make the trip you won’t be disappointed!
I bought a used 2013 Ford Explorer from metro ford October of 2019. I waited to fill out this review in case something happened. Well something did, my d/s rear brake wore down to metal on metal. Called up got me in at 8:00 am and I was out by 10 am Roger was the man I talked to in the service dept. Everything was covered under warranty. He keep me informed on the status of my truck. He was very professional and I would highly recommend him and his team. Thank you!!
I called metro Ford on a vehicle they had listed . Told them my situation that I had gone through in the last year with my fathers passing and my credit criteria, they furthermore told me it was not an issue with down payment . They ran my credit and told me all they needed to see 5 thousand a month in bank deposits within the last 90 days which I showed them , the next day they proceeded to call me telling me they needed even more tax information after sending them all the required documentation they had asked for, they Ran my credit further and knocked it down into the 500s range again after building it back up from becoming in debt from a family member passing . I spoke to a finance manager named Bill that was condescending towards me about how my credit situation was. It’s sad how a dealership can treat some one this way after being told the circumstances of the situation I was in and the finance manager treating me so poorly, Maybe he should worry about how to treats customers instead with his 300 thousand a year job and for walking around the dealership drinking coffee thinking he owns the place with the demo vehicle they let him drive yearly ! I’m sure I could show them a thing or too .
Just traded a 2014 Ford F150 for a new model. Worked with Robert Sangelo for an excellent experience. Great communication, much better than any dealership I have been to in the past. Robert got me in and out when I went to pick up the new F150!. I would definitely recommend Rob and Metro Ford to my family and friends.
I had the awesome pleasure of working with Jenn. My boyfriend bought a car from her at the beginning of this year and we waited for the right car to come in and for the right timing. We found the perfect vehicle for a safe second family ca . Jenn made time for me to come in and didnt leave until I was all se . She was awesome to work with and finance worked their butts off for me! Thanks for everything, cant wait to upgrade in a couple of years!
Truck shop service is terrible. Scheduled an appointment to have my truck serviced on a Friday only to be told that they might be able to look at it on Monday. Went there Monday to speak to Rob the truck shop manager only to be given an attitude and interrupt me to ask if I wanted to reschedule or not. Very unprofessional and I’ll never return.
Our truck broke down in Albany on our trip to Plaski on a Friday afternoon. We were towing our new Rv . We have a 350 super duty diesel 2015, with 57,000 miles and the water pump needed to replaced. Ugh We were told that there is a two week back log. Rob was able to get our truck in to be repaired by Tuesday morning.Thank you Metro service for getting us back on the road.Having to replace a water pump at 57,000 mile is Crazy! Very disappointed with Ford!!!
The service is very good and willing to pay attention to things that you want done, the Bodywork is exceptional and gets it right the first time and will often do very minor work at a very low price. If you like very good performance cars you can find them here, and some of the trucks that you can buy and use them until you get bored with it and it still keeps on working. Be aware that things that people are looking for are going to pay at very close to the top price sometimes higher than the sticker price. Cars that are regularly findable AR available at reasonable discounts. If you really want just exactly what you want and nothing more that you have to pay for, they will order the car from the specifications you provide if you are willing to wait for four to eight weeks depending on what the car is. If you want to drop off a car for service in the morning you can almost always get either a drive to work or a temporary car for the day. If you make an appointment they will let you get in and by the time you have coffee you will probably get minor things like oil change or yearly inspection done and get you back out when they say they will.
Was at the Quick Lane getting my oil change and NYS vehicle inspection done. Very courteous and service was completed in a timely manner. Clean waiting area or you can drop off your vehicle. Did purchase my 2016 Ford Escape from Metro Ford and was very satisfied with the experience
They will give you NO INFORMATION over the phone. They want you to go there. Even after we went there and discussed a purchase, they wouldnt give us any information the next day when we called to ask more questions. They wanted us to drive 40 miles back to them. We ended up getting a vehicle from Browns Ford in Johnstown. Just go to Browns in the first place. Save yourself the hassle.
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Just based on their Service Department alone. We purchased my wifes 2014 Explorer vehicle from Metro Ford with less than 30,000 miles on it. The dealer bent over backwards to get us happy to sign all the paperwork and extended warranty and buy the vehicle. After all said and done, Service has been a complete nightmare. Worst service dealer I have ever been to. Make an appointment, they dont call you with any status updates and even if you appointment is first in the morning, by 3pm they are still working on it and you have to call to find out. After your car is done you end up coming back 2-3 times to fix something else their mechanics messed up in the process of fixing the original problem and then they try to charge you for it. I have all the paperwork to prove it. I have been told every excuse under the sun at this place. oh sorry were short staffed today, oh sorry your service adviser left for the day, etc etc. I will never buy another vehicle from this dealer and I am changing dealerships to get my service done. I give them the benefit of the doubt every time but every single time is a absolute horrible experience. I had every hope I would be purchasing my next truck here. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!
I have never enjoyed shopping for cars in the past - but my last experience at Metro Ford was truly a good one. I think it was because the Saleswoman that helped me was on my level. I never felt like she was pushing me into anything, I felt very comfortable and she spent many hours on multiple days as I looked at cars. If your in the market for a new ride im telling you - ask for Nicole Bellanger!! After days of looking at cars I purchased a car from Metro Ford. Thank you Nicole!!! I love my new ride :)
I want to thank Gary and all the staff in Metro Fords body shop. They have done an outstanding job on a brand new truck I got from another dealer that was damaged. No difference in paint color or sheen whatsoever. They know what they are doing and I will definitely go to them should I need them again.
I have had the worst experience , there was a recall on the car bought from metro ford and was told I don’t know what I’m talking about and it’s not their problem, my car my issues, it’s a 2014 Ford Escape and it’s pretty new their has always been some kind of issue, engine issue recall issues , since I got it . Metro ford staff does not care. Troy in service has told me I bought the car it’s my issue not theirs although it’s a recall, bad experience and the car has multiple problems. Bad place to go to get a car !! bad customer service.
We had a great experience at Metro Ford. We bought a used vehicle there and our Salesman Anthony was very attentive to all of our requests. My Husband can be very demanding and Anthony took it all in stride! We were treated well, all our questions were answered and we were kept informed during the whole process. Every purchase should be this easy. We will definitely visit them again!!
Even though I didnt get the issue resolved, the team at the Service Center did work with me and made sure while my car was getting fixed I had transportation. They isolated the problem and worked with me on many levels. Will be back again for sure. Jay was especially understanding and great to work with.
Worked on my Takata air bag recall. Left parts in my vehicle and now getting warning lights and notifications that passenger air bag is not working. Warning light says to remove items from around passenger seat. Never said that EVER before. Took them all day and they couldnt get it right!?
Great sales people and excellent communication. I visited the first day after informing the internet sales guy that I wanted to test drive a particular Dodge Challenger. I drove 1.5 hours and when I got there the car was near the front doors waiting for me to get right in. After a nice greeting from my main sales lady, I was test driving within 10 minutes. When we returned from the drive, I was there less than an hour before being approved for a price I felt was very fair given the quality of vehicle. I went back 3 days later to pick up the car. And even on that day, I was there about an hour. No delays, or B.S. like you get with a lot of dealerships. No pressures on buying extended warranties or other add-ons. For once, the finance guy and sales lady were strait forward and genuine. Very rare these days. I will return the next time Im in the market for another vehicle. Highly recommended!!
Was looking at a car sold here someone else bought it. Confused yet I would be. Katie from Metro Ford reached out to me about my interest in a Subaru on the lot. I ended up buying elsewhere and she reached out to me after my purchase to congratulate me. She was very personable and lit up my day. I will definitely be doing business with these people in the future! I recommend anyone looking to take a peek at some vehicles to do it here 🤙
While I ultimately chose a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee over a new Sport Explorer, I must say my experience with Metro Ford was extremely positive ! I had not driven an Explorer and Metro Ford was more than gracious in selecting a vehicle to test drive. I found the Explorer to be an excellent vehicle. Darlene, my sales person, was delightful to work with and is a perfect match for either an experienced or novice car buyer. She helped me understand the options available and searched the inventory of all Ford dealerships to find an exact match to my choices.I would without reservation recommend you seeing Darlene at Metro Ford if you are considering a Ford product. I went during a weekday and found it to be a pleasant experience.
Since 2016 we have purchased 7 vehicles from Metro Fords. 6 where brand new and 1 was a courtesy car. Each visit we have had to Metro has always been exceptional. They are very conscientious about customer service and treat each person as an individual not just a sale. Thank you as always for your dedication to customer satisfaction.
Three weeks of having my vehicle, having it towed twice, and then I finally get it back and it has damage and the dealership claims they didnt do it!!?? I have had nothing but electrical issues with this car from Metro and they havent been able to fix it yet. Bought it with less than 8K miles on it. The service manager has been nice enough to deal with but they cant fix an issue that is causing a serious hazard to drive with my wife and 2 young kids in the car. Avoid Metro Ford.
I was ready to get a new car. The team at Metro Ford helped me find a great one. They took the time to answer all my questions about financing, including questions about purchasing vs. leasing and the various protection plans available. The body shop was able to get me in right away to install some new mud flaps, too.
I went to a few dealerships to explore my options and this dealership was the least aggressive and didnt put a ton of pressure on you. I dealt with Tony Simone, Dave & JT, they were great when it came to service and negotiating. They all kept their cool when things like insurance were making things difficult and handled everything very professionally. I highly recommend this dealership to any & everyone!!
I am very disgusted and dissatisfied with the service department. I had a recall on my car i bought from the dealership. I made an appointment for the recall, waited in tge waiting area for 2 hours for my car to find out months later that the recall was never done because of parts. Which i was never informed about when my car was giving back. This matter needs to be looked at and address.
If someone were to ask me where to buy a new or used car, I would send them to Metro. The personal service I received was fantastic. I purchased my van almost two years ago and the salesman I had still sends me little notes. He called me today to wish me a Happy Birthday. Kevin you are the best.
When i first purchased my certified F150, the manual said the jack fr the vehicle was under the small rear seat and it wasnt there. I complained in my last review about the missing jack. Metro ordered me a new jack and one of the service mechanics questioned the jack being missing. He showed me it is behind the small rear seat not under it. So in short, Metro wasnt to blame for the missing jack, Ford Motor company was to blame because the manual is out of date.Metro Ford is the best dealer in the tri-city area and is the only one I will go to for service and new vehicles. Ive been dealing with them for over 30 years and cant say enough about their service, friendliness and customer service. Joe Shanks is the best salesman they have. He is knowledgeable and customer oriented. My last review of them was short because of the jack issue. I was wrong. I rate this dealership as above excellent in all categories. Ive constantly recommend them to everyone I meet. To me going to Metro Ford is like going home to visit old friends
We were honest in the condition of our trade in - fair at best. We still established a deal and when we came to pick up our new car and drop off our trade in they almost canceled the deal! Also - the used car we bought had a dent which they promised to repair. They did end up reneging on that and we are handling the repair ourselves. This place is seriously lacking in professionalism and integrity. Will never buy a car there again and will not take the car for repairs.
Do not buy from metro!! Worst experience ever!! Ran my credit with about 10 banks and my credit score suffered. I was told financing was through ford credit. Nothing but lies from the salesman. I also notice that some of the positive reviews are employees of metro ford. Extremely unprofessional sales and financing staff. If I could give 0 stars I would. Plenty of other places to do business especially when spending almost 60000 for a truck.
Horrible customer service. I called on Monday to have a minor issue with my truck looked at and they said to bring it Thursday. I asked if I should make an appointment and they told me that wouldnt be necessary. I showed up Thursday morning ~9am to drop off my truck for the day and explained to them that Im in from out of town and would need my truck back by end of day. They told me they were busy but it shouldnt be a problem. I called at 3pm and they hadnt even looked at my truck and told me that I could leave it another day or come pick it. I opted to pick it because once again I explained to them I was in from out of town. Guy at the service desk just didnt seem to care and told me they were still backed up from Wednesday. I have no problem with a shop being busy but they wasted my time when I could have simply taken it somewhere else. Would never recommend these guys to anyone.
I did a lot of online research before going in to Metro Ford to look at a used vehicle. They are about an hour and a half from where I live, and I set up an appointment online with Sara who got back to me quickly. I was helped by Jenn Gifford in sales when I arrived, who was easy to talk to, no pressure, and if she didnt know the answer to one of my questions she found someone who did and was very responsive. There were three small dents on the left side that their body department took care of before I picked up the vehicle, and the pick-up process was seamless. I did have a hard time getting ahold of the financial person, who was supposed to check interest rates and call me back. After leaving her numerous voicemails with no response I finally got ahold of her on her cell. I ended up financing through my bank as it was a better rate, more direct, and less hassle. Overall I love the vehicle, it was competitively priced considering mileage and that it is certified used (much better than what was offered at the dealerships local to my area), and Jenn made the experience super easy and fun! Worth the drive to buy a car at Metro Ford.
I would stop by from time to time to see the so called sales events and view the used car inventory. I really need to say they must have the worst sales team ever. I say this because if you want to speak with anyone you will have to wait until the sales associates are done with their own personal conversations. That is what happened to me the other day. Not only that but if you dont look a certain way they might not give you the time of day. At least thats the impression I had when visiting this dealership. Dont get me wrong there are a few good sale people that are more than willing to assist you but hope you are lucky enough to find one. I really feel this dealership needs an overhaul on its staff and costumer relations. This review is based on my own experience yours may be better I hope.
Not very happy I bought a 2016 Ford F150 with the Ecoboost and because the staff at Metro Ford took their time getting my registration for Vermont done I wasnt able to get the truck inspected and now it shows codes that prevent it from being able to be inspected in Vermontand when I traveled all the way down there on Saturday I was told there was nothing they could do for me on a vehicle that cost me $20,000 dollars that I have just sitting in my yard as an ornament. Would not recommend this dealership for the purchase of any vehicle I feel I got ripped off for $20,000 dollars this is my work vehicle and they were told this when it was purchased. I have never been so dissatisfied with a dealership in my whole life and will never buy another vehicle there.
Just bought a new car ....Ford Fusion Hybrid. We have been going to Metro Ford since 1985! Want to thank A.J. for being a big help and so patient. Also J.T. was also great. Want to give a shout out to Michelle, who although was not a part of this deal, has always been fantastic in the past!!
I just leased a 2014 Ford Fusion SE from Metro Ford and I couldnt be more pleased. I worked mainly with Dan, who was a great salesman; very friendly, genuine, and he worked hard to get a price that would fit my budget. The other members of the staff with whom I worked were equally as interested in working with me in order to be certain that I understood everything about my car, its features, etc. As my first purchasing experience it was certainly very positive, and I would absolutely recommend Metro Ford.
Excellent service and cooperation, especially from Dan Ketchum who was more than willing to compromise with pricing and financing. My experience was hassle free, quick, and I was able to walk away with a car that I loved. If youre looking for a dealership that knows what theyre doing, Metro Ford is the place to go.
I was in several months ago (late August, early September I believe), and had an experience which still sticks with me. Reference cars salesman, who also happens to be rude. After finding a competitive ad on their website for a Ford Explorer, I went in hoping to purchase it at advertised price, and get a wash on my trade in (which I owed about $2k on, KBB valued it at about $3k). I called ahead, but the salesmen I spoke with was working on closing a deal with another a couple, so he handed me off to a younger gentleman. The younger gentleman did a great job of giving me a test drive, talking to me, etc., but got off duty before he could finish the sale. I was then kept waiting for about 1.5 hours (constant promises of soon, have some tea, soon...).When I finally got to speak with the sales rep, we hammered out a deal, with him constantly complaining about his coworkers and blaming the computer systems for any trouble he had. He went to get the final forms (now about 2.5 hours from when i walked into the dealership), then came back and send he couldnt sell me the advertised car. Instead, he tried to upgrade me to the next model, for a mere $2k price difference. At this point, having been treated poorly, and now being exposed to predatory sales tactics, I felt no desire to do business with the man, and left.
Called dealership to make sure a truck listed on the site was still available. was told it was. Drove an hour to look at the vehicle. When we arrived we were told that the vehicle was available but the keys were locked in a cabinet that they could not access. Wasted an afternoon. This is the reason I hate car dealers - always lying never give you a straight answer. We walked in and it took nearly an hour before we were actually looking at anything and discovered that the truck we want to look at was not actually available. How is it that this industry remains unchanged in customer service. I do not recommend this dealership. I should send them a bill for my wasted time.
Had been looking to purchase new explorer for a short time. Went into see Kevin R last week. Found the vehicle I was looking for. Kevin was very knowledgeable about that vehicle and others Ive purchased in the past. Would recommend him to friends and family for certain.Great people skills, kept things moving but with no pressure. Good experience as in the past.Have always had a good experience with the service department as well.
My husband and I just traded in our jeep for a Ford Explorer. A little miscommunication at first but I can say everyone got us taken care of Dave and Bill were exceptional! Got us in and out when we went to pick up our new Explorer! Have to mention Katie she was also great!
I purchased a 2013 f150 a few months ago when I Went to look at truck I noticed a few things (issues w truck fog lights cracked they put new ones in the passenger side taillight had moisture inside the said they would reseal it (never did) still has moisture inside the mirrors are power fold they told me to bring it in would look at it see what the issue was they told me it was the motors inside and that to replace en was expensive and they won’t fix em I have to deal with it I was sold xtended warranty wouldn’t ya know the mirrors aren’t covered even though it’s bumper to bumper warranty when my wife called after speaking to ford customer service (metro ford) the salesman joe wouldn’t answer his phone she talked to another person they were rude saying it was our problem the owner of the dealership refused to fix the mirrors we were told it wasn’t important to have the power fold mirrors we spent $24,000 on this truck and they refuse to fix the mirrors that’s fine I will continue to fight this so that’s why I writing this to make others aware of this problem not good customer service I will not be a repeat customer and you shouldn’t either
When I arrived at my appointment to have front brakes replaced and my trailer inspected I was told by Troy that things were backed up and they would get to me as soon as possible. The work was still completed in a reasonable amount of time while I read my paper and had coffee. Thanks
I visited here 3 or 4 times, and I found the people at the service are really terrible - they never helped me.Episode1 : I have a recalled Ford vehicle and asked them about the parts to replace, but they didnt have it then. So they told me that theyll send a letter when its available. It was 1 year ago, and I still havent receive anything from them.Episode2 : My car had a wrench light, so I asked them how to reset it. They answered Get an oil change. I told them I already did that just before the visit. Then, they said that my car is old and a wrench light doesnt mean Need an oil change but its a kind of transmission problem or another problem and you cant reset it blah blah blah...The wrench light went off after we left the shop. They always say irresponsible things in an unconcerned tone. They never worry about my car even if its a recall one. I always feel that they want me to go away. I always feel Im exposed to racism.
I have never purchase a vehicle from them and never will after the terrible experience I have had with the so called service department. It is worth the trip to go to Latham Ford they actually know how to treat people. After several attempts to have my 2013 focus fixed from a recall they tried to blame the issue on me not there lack of knowledge on how to fix the problem. So Ford motors recommend I go elsewhere.
First time customer at Metro Service department and very disappointed. They are way overbooked. My F150 went in for two recalls, one was fixed the other wasn’t. Can’t open the doors in the cold so a problem at this time of year. They scheduled an appointment for me a month out, and then said it wasn’t in the book and I had to reschedule again !!Also brought it in for a grinding noise which they said they fixed .... and less than 3 weeks it’s back!!!
Came in to look, didnt expect to buy anything yet. Then Keith Neddo spent a few hours go over the van options we settled on the van on the showroom floor this is the third vehicle and I have purchased at Metro Ford. Highly recommend Keith and Metro Ford. Great experience. Sean Fennelly
I would like to say thanks for such a high quality of repairs that have been done to my service truck. Tech Mark Greene does top shelf work and while doing the repairs he takes the time to show me whats wrong and the options I have for the repairs. This is a very refreshing change for me. Being responsible for the upkeep of my service rig this kind of professional service will keep me returning to Metro Ford. Fix it once, fix it right. Thanks Mark you ROCK!Ed Slater
Found two F150s I was interested in, both advertised for around $45,500. I called and explained to Lynn(sales manager I think)that I wanted to lease and again had them double check the price, which was again confirmed at around $45,500. Drove to the dealership, which is just under 2 hours away from my home. They treat me great and I pick the truck I want. Well, the price is now over $55,000. They claim that none of the discounts apply to leasing, only a retail purchase. Absolute WASTE OF TIME. Either they are very dishonest or they are just horrible at their jobs. Either way, I would NEVER recommend this place.
Dishonest time wasters...will never use again. We called ahead to see if Metro interested to purchase a Ford Fusion that belonged to my deceased father in law that had been serviced by them. They asked us to come in, and after waiting and allowing them to look at car, dishonest sales agent with target range paper at her desk told us that they don’t really buy cars like that...that she did not want to insult us, but could probably get her manager to approve $500 or $600 (for a car appraised at $2500 by car max and Carvana). We left, went down the road to Tower Auto where we sold the car for $2500 an hour later. The punch line is agent called me back the next day to tell me she was interested in car after all, and was surprised to hear I’d already sold it. What goes around comes around, and I don’t do business with people who lack integrity. Deal with people you can trust.
5 stars is not enough for the staff at Metro Ford. A year ago my wife and I decided it was time to upgrade to a newer vehicle. Our financial status was not the best and chose a pre-owned vehicle. After searching the Web and multiple recommendations, we found ourselves in the showroom of Metro Ford. There, we were greeted by the friendly staff. An older gentleman by the name of Joe, helped us in finding the vehicle that was best for us, one we could afford and we were comfortable with. We have 3 children, so something roomy was a must. We chose the ford edge. Through the process Joe did all that he could to ensure we were choosing the right vehicle. We were not swayed or pressured and felt right at home.Today, we purchased another vehicle from metro ford, a ford explorer, because of how simple and comforting the first experience was. This experience was just as great as the last. A fella by the name of Joe Amash was in on helping us find a vehicle this time around. Once again, we did not feel pressured or swayed in buying something we didnt want. Joe was fantastic. The explorer we were interested seemed to be out of our reach financially. Joe worked his magic and fought to ensure the delivery of the vehicle. He didnt give up on us or for us. Thats what great salesmen do.Going to an auto dealership can be quite frightening. Most places will pressure you and sway your decisions. Possibly, making you purchase a vehicle that is not right for you. The staff at metro ford did the exact opposite. From the finance dept., to the salesmen, to the secretarys, these folks are top notch . I will not go anywhere else.
Kevin Russo and Dave woods gave my husband and I a great deal when we came to see them after our 2012 Ford fusion got totaled they help get us into another Ford fusion with no money down they are truly angels and there to help in so many ways..This is the second time we dealt with Kevin he is truly a friend.. go see Kevin and Dave at metro Ford u wont be sorry....Jill an Richard saxby
This was my first visit for an oil change and minor work. Service staff greeted me at the door and took care of me right away. All work was completed within 90minutes and I even had time for a coffee and donut. The waiting area was modern, clean and very inviting. You can relax in a cozy soft cushion chair or sit at high-top table where you can have coffee or do work on your laptop or tablet. And if you want there is a large screen TV to watch to pass your time away.As a previous customer of another dealership, I would definitely recommend Metro Ford Service to anyone who asked.
Im an ASE master tech had a strange 4.6 question called and asked if I could pick a techs brain quickly about an issue I was having with a 4.6 block. Most other dealers would have given the standard we dont have a tech available but you can speak to a service advisor. Yeah ok... well these guys put me on with a knowledgeable tech familiar with the architecture I was working on. Within 30 seconds I had my answer and was able to save precious time. While I may not buy a new vehicle ever, I advise everyone I know to shop metro Ford. Also medium and heavy parts staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful as well. Im a Ford guy and always have been, always will be.
For the most part their used vehicle are good quality however, they over price their vehicles and refuse to budge. At the same time they will offer you below the lowest value on a trade in. I recently attempted to purchase a used vehicle from them offering the high KBB and NADA value for the purchase and the mid range trade value. More than a fair offer that works in their favor, they refused. I declined being I refuse to be ripped off. If money is no object go ahead and shop Metro Ford. If you are looking for a fair deal, look elsewhere.
Sold my wife a vehicle that was already sold, wouldnt make it right, sold her a second vehicle and low and behold that was sold also, mind you the financing was done and everything. Credit score suffers for absolutely no reason and they feel no remorse for the whole situation.
Horrible service department. They forgot to put my dipstick back in causing oil to go everywhere and then told me mistakes happen, on a separate occasion they forgot to put the bolts in my breaks which could have got jammed and caused me to flip my truck. Customer service is equally as bad. They do not want to do any warranty work and when they have to they do it half-assed. They sold me a lemon and refuse to give me my money back which is against the law.
I just leased a Ford F-150 from Metro Ford, and the transaction was quite positive. Overall I was impressed and pleased with my experience as a customer. Everyone I talked to and met with was friendly, courteous, knowledgable, informative, and attentive. Despite the renovations going on, the business ran smoothly and I was able to pick my truck up very quickly. Ultimately I believe I had an easy, fair and painless transaction. 4/5 stars for two reasons: one - the F-150 selection was limited (in my opinion), although they did say quite a few more were on their way, and two- the sitting area where my acquisition was negotiated and transacted was too public for my taste. I would have preferred a little more privacy - it was too easy to overhear other customers discussing their finances. However, if I understood things correctly this may be addressed by the renovations the dealership is undergoing.
Josh Sawyer, Michelle Hamel and Will in the service department exceeded my expectations when it came to buying my used truck. Quickest and easiest experience ever. Josh was awesome from the moment he saw me looking at the trucks and helped me choose the perfect F250! I feel he got me the best deal possible and made all repairs and met all requests I made prior and after purchasing the truck. He even helped me move kid car seats to the new truck....thats service!!! Recommend any of these helpful people and the dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle!! Thanks everyone at Metro Ford!!!!
Absolutely horrible, first off every vehicle is marked up and they argue and insult you and try to change your perspective meanwhile the salesmen have no knowledge of the cars they are selling and even admit it. Secondly the service department will charge faulty diagnosis charges when they incorrectly diagnosed the issue and when i returned they found it was something else covered under warrenty then refuse to give back original fee.
I own a 2012 Ford focus SE, its had numerous recalls. The main one is the transmission, it has had two computer flashes after that didnt work it was suppose to be replaced. I was never notified from Metro ford. I emailed metro and nothing but Crickets. October 15 2019 Jerry called me stating ford would cover some of it and metro would cover some. I would be responsible for $500 of recall work. there is a Class action suit against ford..This car is not good the transmission slips..I was told to make an appt to get it taken care of it. Now its a hole new song. Btw Jerry was rude and hung up on me. Horrendous business.
Had my Ford F3 50 King Ranch checked out I thought I had front end problems they told me track bar and right side ball joint was bad I just had front and work done on it thay gave me a price I went and put new tires on it and asked that tire dealer how much they wanted to fix it they could not find nothing wrong with it Took it back to the Ford dealer told them about it they checked it out again and awls it needed was a front and alignment confronted them about it and they blew me off then they tried to charge me a half hour again to check out the front end to confirm there was nothing wrong with it that they are re-checked out that there was nothing wrong with it if you deal with them get a second opinion I may be from out of town but when I have new parts put on and somethings wrong and they want to replace the same parts it aint right I think third con artist and rip offs thats just my personal opinion
If you are looking for a car and want a great deal go see Aj!! He will actually listen to what you want and try to find the best match at the best price instead of trying to stick you in the most expensive vehicle just to make money off of you!! Dave W in finance is amazing as well, he will look around for the best possible rate he can find you and makes the process so simple. The staff and customer service at metro ford is unbeatable!!
I normally take my car here and have been since about 2007...this last time I visited the receptionist was very rude and did something that I didnt like at all...which is why they have received only 3 stars...***You can do a million great things in this world and the world will still remember you for the one negative***
Do not buy here! Purchasing the vehicle was the easy part, though even that had its complications. The first salesmen Keith tried to place me in several vehicles I could not afford before I requested a new sales representative. As a first time car buyer I feel I was taken advantage of with payments of $365 a month at 19% interest on a $14,000 car. Post purchase is where metro drops the ball bad, the salesmen Anthony assured me my first oil change was free and any questions I have call him. Every time I called Anthony was off work, so I left a voicemail and never heard back. I purchased a premium 2 year warranty with the vehicle, a few weeks after my purchase I noticed an intermittent starting problem with the vehicle and when I called to schedule a service appointment they informed me they do not schedule appointments you just bring the vehicle in and wait to have it looked at with no idea how long it will take to have your vehicle inspected. I have recently went on the website to schedule an appointment to have my vehicle repaired, because it is offered on their website. The website states you will hear from a service tech within 48 hrs, 4 days later I have not heard from them. I feel like Ive been robbed and will never return to this dealership to purchase a car again.
Walked in today looking to lease a car and left with a new 2016 Ford Fusion! Ryan Rocheleau helped me find a car I liked and made sure it was at the best price possible! Couldnt have asked for a better salesman, super nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new car.
I just leased another Focus from Metro. Joe Shanks was great and JT went above and beyond to get the deal done and at a price point I was comfortable with. I would recommend Metro for all your automobile needs, from sales to service they strive to provide 100% customer satisfaction.Very pleased with my experience. Thanks!!!
Love my car but I paid for environmental protection coat and the car was hot mess when I picked it up so I believe all they did was spray small amount on and never buffed it in and dealership gave me two practically full bottles of ecp that was leftover. The cost is $899.00 for ecp, do not waste your money. I said no to ecp and the finance guy Bill , talked me into it. I have called regarding some issues and never got a call back. Also my sales guy was terrible, I had to drive new car to back of lot and pick up another vehicle I was interested in to test drive and was told what I did was against policy. I was there for 6 hours and almost walked out. Good thing I like my vehicle because Ill never every go back to metro again.
I was recently in a car accident and had a lot of front end damage. I had my 2008 Focus towed over to Metro Fords auto body shop for repairs. Carey, Gina and the rest of the staff made it such a wonderful experience. They handled everything for me from dealing with the insurance company to having the auto repair shop fix the tire rod and suspension. They also kept me well informed of the progress. When my car was finished they even had the inside cleaned for me. My car looks just like it did when I drove it off the lot the day I bought it. I would HIGHLY recommend Metro Fords auto body and the vehicle repair shop to everyone. I am one happy customer.

2022-06-07It was a great experience. From making the initial appointment with Janice who handled it very nicely. When I arrived Jay was very professional and detailed in discussing the problem and what the remedies were. Kept me updated through the process and I didnt have to guess about when I would get the car back. My experiences with Metro have always been good

2022-05-13Awesome service as always. Metro ford never disappoints me!! I dropped off my vehicle as scheduled. I asked if at all possible I could have my car back before my kids got out of school. The mechanic which was helping said it might be close but they would try. They went above and beyond to get my car back ASAP. Keep up the great work.

2022-04-16If a zero was allowed Id go with that. Went to the dealership twice and finally put a deposit down on a 21 f150 that was in transit. This was November around Thanksgiving 2021. Was told Id have it soon. Weeks go by and they tell me they dont know where it is. This goes on for 5 months. Leaving messages with no return calls and getting the run around each time. They finally said they lost the truck which means they sold it probably. We asked if they had any trucks on the lot or incoming they could work a deal on. Sales manager said he would look into it because they want our business but it wasnt likely. Never got a return phone call which wasnt a surprise. Gonna be taking my business elsewhere after wasting 5 months of my time. Thanks Metro!!

2022-03-03Had a recall on my car called to confirm how long it would take was told 2-3 hours. Right off the bat the young girl had a terrible attitude and was waiting 4 hours to be told they will be needing another 2 to fix a different recall I was never even told about. Asked for rental car girl rudely said there was no more rentals to give. Should have been upfront about the wait and was the girl was super unprofessional and miserable. My advice, don’t go there. Waste of time

2022-03-28My service rep Don and my tech Mike were great! Tech came out in the waiting lounge and talked to me personally about my truck. Advisor was great. Shared a story about his pet kangaroo.

2022-06-07I was interested in a Ford Maverick. They were marking it up 7 -10k over MSRP. So I went to keeler and put a deposit on a Mercedes new for about the same price at MSRP. Greed is not helping the inflation in this country.Sales people were very nice.

2022-06-19I hung around the show room for about 20 minutes with all the sales workers all sitting at their desks before anyone gave me the time of day. After that, they were actually pretty helpful and gave me the information I was looking for on the vehicle I am interested in purchasing.

2022-06-02The two stars are for JT in the finance office. He was a pleasure to work with. He was very personable and patient.Disappointed otherwise. Would not recommend purchasing a vehicle at this dealership.
