It was an amazing experience with metropolitan caterers !!! Special thanks to Mr.Rajiv who took care of everything. He even took out time to meet with us on three separate occasions to assist and make everything perfect for our special night. It was our third family party with metropolitan and we have booked another event this coming summer!!
Chose this venue for a 50th B-day celebration. Venue is beautiful, food was delicious from the cocktail hour to the dinner! Service was great, and Rekha, the owner was a delight to work with - very accomodating, helpful and flexible. You wont regret booking this place for your event. This place also has a restaurant, and the food is awesome too!
I really appreciate Rehka for making my GCHS class banquet a dream come true. The students and staff enjoyed themselves, and had many memorable moments. I definitely recommend Metropolitan Caterers services, and will be using their services in the near future.

My wife and I hosted a wedding for our daughter and son-in-law. We could not have been happier with the venue we selected. Melissa was very professional, and so supportive, she exceeded our every expectation . The venue was exceptionally clean, the food got rave reviews and the staff was very attentive. A great time was had by all, thank you Metropolitan.
Rekha and Raj are two amazing people. So I had my daughters 5th birthday here yesterday and let me just say it went AMAZING!!! Rekha was very responsive. She is very nice, kind and very considerate. She made sure all our needs were met. She made sure I have a staff member helping me all through out the party.My decorator was given more than enough time to decorate the space. Raj and rekha were extremely nice.The staff is amazing and very very helpful.I am so glad I booked this place for my daughters 5th birthday. Rekha and Raj made sure all of our guest had an amazing time. I felt like it was my own place. They’re both down to earth people. Loved loved loved both of them. Very very welcoming people.The space they have is so beautiful. It’s perfect for wedding, birthday parties. It has a parking lot.
I am a charter bus driver with M and V Limo and had the pleasure to drive guests to a wedding there a few days ago. It was the first an only time the management offered me dinner while I waited for the wedding to end Well the food I was served was exquisite and delicious. Obviously it is run by very caring people. I appreciate the gesture and would consider this venue for my own daughters wedding Thank you for being so considerate. It very very rarely happens
Setup good. But Food was utterly USELESS. For the first time I left my food plate 80% unfinished.Ice cream and Gulab jamun was good.
I hosted a 200 people private party at my house two weeks ago, they helped with catering and all the decor I needed. The food is really good quality and very tasty from all my guests review. I have to say that it is worth very much. Especially the service and decorations really beyond my expectations. Good experience with good vibes work with them👍
We recently had our son and daughters graduation party here. We received so many compliments on the venue and the food from our guests. We found Rekha very easy to work with and she always made herself available to answer any questions that we had during the planning process. I would recommend this venue for your future event.
Easy to see right off of Pratt Avenue servicing Glen Cove and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Valet parking is available. Great for Weddings Anniversary, Sweet 16 Party. Etc. Nice staff. Clean facilities with a wheelchair accessible entrance. Reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back.Thank you to the owner for responding. I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The venue was beautiful, the food looked and tasted great, and the service was outstanding. I had the crab cake, bone-in pork steak and a margarita. Everything I tasted had a perfect balance of textures and a great mix of different flavors. I had a lovely conversation with some of the owners and got a nice, quick tour of their venue. It was a memorable experience and I will certainly come back!
What a amazing venue Raj has set forth for my husband and I. We just got married here and I cant recommend it enough. My husband and I got married on October 2nd. Our family and friends could not stop talking about the venue especially cocktail hour. Each and everyone of his staff were so delightful to our family. Everyone was so friendly and gracious, from the bottom of our hearts Saydul and I would like to say thank you so much for making our wedding day so amazing and the best day of our lives! It really was like a dream come true, and everything was perfect. I cant tell you how many people said what a beautiful setting Ever After is. Rehka and her husband were beyond phenomenal! I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to have at least one event here! They were incredibly helpful and made sure every detail was perfect and exactly how I wanted it. Everyone was so professional and made sure the whole night went smoothly - it took such a big relieve off of the families that way we were able to focus on the guests.
My son took me there on Mother’s Day for brunch. It started with very warm welcome by the greeter, the ambiance was nice. Super friendly staff. The food was fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious. Loved it.
On Valentines Day we dined at the metropolitan restaurant inside the metropolitan catering hall on Pratt blvd in Glen Cove. Their food was amazing and the service was 5 stars. They have a great selection of bar drinks. All of their food was meticulously plated and their Valentines Day Prix fixe menu had a good selection.They are enforcing social distancing by keeping the tables separated. Sanitizer is readily available and the entire staff is wearing masks. Patrons are required to wear masks as well. Please see The photos of our food selections because words cannot do it justice! The food was delicious and we look forward to going back again and again! Recommend the metropolitan restaurant highly!
Attended a wedding today. The venue is gorgeous. But the ac was working or they didnt turn it on. I went to the staff 2 times and asked for them to check it. The first time she said they did turn it on and told me it wasnt on. The second time. They said it was kn but obvious wasnt! With covid and elderly and children.. it should have been cooler. My hushand had to leave with my 4 year old and sit in the courtyard because my son was getting so hot and uncomfortable.I wish the owners paid more attention to the ac situation today especially since it was 90+ degrees.
Thank you to the owners and staff at the Metropolitan Caterers for saving our wedding day. We had a bad experience with our original wedding venue due to COVID-19 and were forced to find another venue 2 weeks before our wedding day. Luckily, we found the Metropolitan who was willing to work with us and accommodate us even with all the chaos of the pandemic. Truly a management team that treats you like family. They did exactly what we had asked for/what they had promised and more. They kept the line of communication clear at all times, took care of all logistics, and often reminded us to enjoy the days leading up to the wedding. On our wedding day, they were there for our full event and made sure our families were taken care of. Seriously, they went above and beyond for us.What I appreciated about this venue was their emphasis on safety and commitment to following state safety guidelines during the pandemic - something many banquet halls were overlooking. Even with state rules changing just days before the wedding, the management team apologized but stayed firm on the new rules for our party. We gladly obliged to avoid any trouble.I honestly could not have found a better place to have my wedding and wish I had found them sooner. I would highly recommend having your next party here. Thank you to the Metropolitan for saving our wedding!
I felt the need of letting the world know how extraordinary this place is! Raj and Rekha are the NICEST and MOST professional people we could have chosen to work with on our special day. The Metropolitan is just the best choice to get married in Long Island. The variety of delicious food in their menu, the beautiful decorations, and the environment itself made all our guests fall in love with the place. I think the pictures speak of themselves. The Metropolitan was the closest to perfection you can get. I was originally booked with a different venue and chose to cancel due to some management issues. When I met John he was a breath of fresh air. He was so good I thought he was too good to be true but let me tell you, he’s the real deal. I loved working with him and everything was so convenient. My guests were raving about the food and abundance of it all night. I’ve even had comments of it being the best food they’ve ever had. My maitre’d, Barbara was on it!! She coordinated everything and all of my things that I brought with me to set up beautifully. Maritza was my bridal attendant. She was with me the majority of the time but went missing once in a while when I could’ve used help but nothing crazy.If you’re booked here you’re in great hands! If you’re still looking for a venue check this place out!!
Beautiful wedding venue for a large wedding. The MC and DJ that the venue reccimends are amazing! Had an amazing time at my brothers wedding. Food is delicious!
The venue is exquisite. Super clean and very classy. The staff is amazing. Very attentive to all your needs. The food is outstanding. The band that evening was called “Acoustic Overlook” and they were fantastic too.
The Metropolitan was the perfect place for our wedding reception. We could not believe how beautiful everything look inside the venue for the night of the party. The food was on another level of good as it was absolutely amazing. I would recommend to anyone who is looking to use this venue, include the greasy bar at the end of the night because it put the cherry on top of an unbelievable party. John is a great guy who will go beyond measures to make sure the day is great for you. If I could give more then 5 stars I would!
If there is one catering hall on Long Island that is overlooked, it is The Metropolitan in Glen Cove, but it shouldn’t be. Everyone should check out this place before choosing your wedding venue. This single-event venue has style, elegance and is reasonably priced. The building has unique architectural characteristics that combine a classic and modern feel, great for on-site ceremonies and photographic moments. The staff, in particular the Director John Casale, was endlessly accommodating from the first tour to the day after the wedding. He had answers and suggestions for every question and concern we had leading up to the big day. The food by far is the best we have eaten at a Long Island affair and our guests cannot stop raving about it! The wedding went so smoothly that we got to fully enjoy every aspect of the day, which we will be forever grateful for.
Went for a wedding with wife and baby. There were no ramps for the stroller. They had no changing tables in both restrooms. They asked guests to exit the building after ceremony and walk around outside to access the cocktail lounge.On the flip side; staff were friendly, food was good, and I got a workout carrying the stroller up and down the stairs.

We just celebrated our 25th anniversary at the Metropolitan. It was one of the nicest experiences ever. From the start to the end, we found the staff to be courteous, friendly, efficient, and awesome. Leena & Jay Narang take such good care of every detail. We left feeling so happy! John, the manager did an outstanding job helping us plan and prepare for this special day. Barbara was wonderful to us and took such good care of the guests. Everyone had a great time and left so happy! I am so glad we chose the Metropolitan and would recommend this place to everyone for any event! Its elegant, classy, and the food is amazing! I think my husband and I enjoyed this celebration more than our wedding, 25 years ago...
Attended a wedding, seating was very tight , food was ok ,nothing extra special, very clean . Line for the bar to get a drink was long ,15 minutes to get a drink, bartenders were pleasant to deal with when you got to them, all in all had a good time
Attended a wedding reception at the metropolitan last week and it was wonderful..beautiful building, great staff and very nice venue. The appetizer tables, dinner and desserts were very well displayed and tasted amazing. I enjoyed the entire five hours I was there. Thank you for such a lovely celebration.
We were at this venue this past weekend for an event and let me tell you how blown away we were. The staff was on point, clean room, great food and the venue was breathtaking. This is a true Gem you need to go check out for your next event....
Had the most amazing food and drink, amazing wedding this evening.. but the damn valet lost my car key! Luckily I had a spare to get home, but I hope they make good on their promise to replace the $150 key from my car dealer.
The establishment was very well decorated and organized. The food was excellent, service and staff very were very accommodating.Only negative was the congestion of guest in the upper cocktail area.Strong 4 of 5 stars here.

2021-08-19I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!Every bride is nervous about the details of her big day, the loose ends coming together, and the vision of her dream wedding being orchestrated smoothly. From start to finish, our coordinator, Raj could not have been more helpful, encouraging, and knowledgeable. He shared our own enthusiasm in planning our day, was consistent and prompt and went above and beyond our expectations.The staff was over accommodating and welcoming to all guests. The venue for all of our events were spectacularly designed with elaborate decor specific to our requests. Our needs of a classy yet traditional wedding was not only met but exceeded. The wedding process was made affordable and lighthearted!We selected a wide variety of food options from several cultures and every guest said the food was sensational. Our guests also loved both the vegetarian and meat selections!The week after our wedding, my husband and I went back to sit with and properly thank Raj for all the care and dedication he put into making a masterpiece out of our day.Thank you for giving us our dream wedding!

2021-11-06Our wedding went way better than expected! Raj and Rekha are extremely kind and treated us like family. We had both a Christian ceremony and reception; the team at Metropolitan worked diligently to make sure everything went above our expectations and they delivered. We had a Venetian table full of desserts and our guests are still talking about it a month after the wedding. The food was amazing too! I couldn’t imagine the wedding anywhere else. Alana and I are truly grateful for Raj’s help and for making this experience and unforgettable one!

2021-07-10Best day of my life. My wedding day was beyond perfect thanks to Melissa, Barbara, Iracelis and the rest of the staff. They coordinated everything so beautiful. Melissa literally held our hand throughout the pandemic, keeping us uodated with mask mandates etc. They were amazingly flexible when we had to reschedule our wedding. The food was 10/10 the drinks were amazing as well. We had the whole premises to ourselves for the wedding. I 1000% recommend this place.

2021-09-09Place is very great , with an outdoor dinning area along with banquet hall .I was there for a party . Food is very tasty . Everything is well organised and hospitality is outstanding . While I was putting food on plate , my fork fell on floor, I continued taking food , to my amaze the owner of the place come to me have me a new fork. She noticed it which is unusual.Very disciplined about timing as they put the starter and dinner at time

2022-06-13It’s way over due for me to review metropolitan.We had our daughter Sassy 17 on may 7th and it was my best decision to do it here then most of other Indian caterer’s. Everything was over the top. We had almost 200 people and no flaws at all. Food , decor , service all great. Raj made us feel like family and I am very appreciative for that. If I could I would give them 100 stars. Again Thank you Raj and entire metropolitan staff for making our event so memorable.

2022-05-24The owners Raj and Rekha made our wedding reservation at the Metropolitan truly amazing. They went out of their way to provide excellent service and accommodate us. The decorations were beyond our expectations and truly exceptional. Although our event was postponed because of Covid the admin was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place for weddings and more. We will definitely do our future events at the Metropolitan.

2022-02-08Where do I begin? This place is BEAUTIFUL and the staff goes above and beyond. The owners Rajeev and Rekha are the sweetest and the most accommodating individuals. They went above and beyond for my event and made everything more than perfect!I was speechless when I walked into my event, the decor, table setting, food, and staff were amazing and I have nothing but really nice things to say. I highly recommend this establishment for all events. They have different size halls so Metropolitan can accommodate different size parties.10/10; absolutely amazing, hands down the best venue I have dealt with!

2021-06-28Attended the ladies sangeet party last Wednesday. Its beautiful place to have parties. They are checking the temperature for all guests. Ballroom and cocktails hall is good. Staff is helpful and nice.The reason i gave four star is for the following reasons, 1st, They dont have soap in the mens room and party just started and they are ran off it. no one checked earlier. I requested to staff and they took more than 40 minutes to fix it.2nd, bartender girl was not professional, They must listen to the guest and then make drinks, its not their choice how to make it.jShe messed up my drink, when i told about that, she very rudely made the another one.

2022-04-25Food was absolutely INCREDIBLE... We had a business meeting over dinner and the staff and service was very professional. Highly recommend this gem! Located in the heart of Glen Cove, NY.Will definitely be back for a lot more!
