Wow.... I ordered 2 burrito bowls with the Boo-rito special online for pickup in store. Even though the online platform told us that our bowls would be ready in 10 min, we arrived to find a mob of people waiting for their orders. Unfortunately, this Chipotle was understaffed and behind schedule. They stopped taking in walk-in customers. I am sympathetic towards the workers but the online Chipotle should not say an order is going to be ready in 10 min when in reality, people waited over an hour for their bowls. Needless to say we walked out. It was absolute chaos in there, workers were slow and there was no way to cancel the online order. So many people walked out frustrated. This place needs to up their wages or better prepare when they expect an influx of customers, and ensure the online platform is synced with the actual customer experience. Will never be ordering from Chipotle again.
I ordered a brisket quesadilla and walked home only to see they gave me a burrito bowl. I walked back and asked them if they wouldn’t mind just making the quesadilla. The cashier said no and then proceeded to laugh with his co-workers. I then said that I had paid for a quesadilla and would really appreciate it if they could just quickly make one. The cashier groaned and had his coworker remake it. I work in the food industry so I know how hard it is to to be a service worker. However, if you make a dish wrong you have to own it. The ticket very clearly said quesadilla. I don’t normally post reviews but the cashier was so rude that I felt inclined.
GOOD DEED ALERT at this Chipotle! I was at Chipotle 464 Park Avenue South buying my son a burrito. When we got up to the cashier to pay for the burrito I pulled out my Iphone thinking I could just pay with Apple Pay well not so fast they do not accept Apple Pay and I only had my phone with me :-/ They said sorry we do not accept Apple Pay and I said Oh ok sorry began to leave and feeling like a dummy, but the young woman cashier stopped me and said that is ok, We would be happy to take care of it for you and even offered a drink. So props and much love to the young woman working at Chipotle 464 Park Ave South around 5pm on June 30th :-)
My daughter and I went to this Chipotle location yesterday 12-10-19. The cashier had excellent customer service skills. Unfortunately the server’s weren’t. The food looked like it was just dumped to be served, the pink beans weren’t cooked, they were hard white rice wasn’t cooked. To top off the food was Cold. They had no means of heating food up, we took food home. Horrible!!!
I ordered from this location through seamless, the driver forgot half of my order and I thought there was no way to get it to me. Thankfully I got a call directly from this Park Ave Chipotle location stating the driver left my food behind and they personally brought it to me! 5 stars !!! I forgot the gentleman’s name who helped me out but so nice! Thanks so much!
Overcharged me for a burrito which is standard and refuse to give my regular price since I asked for extra cheese. What’s worse is the burrito tasted strange as if something was expired.Chipotle doesn’t charge extra for cheese?! Super rude staff, go to any other location.
Quickest Chipotle in town! Busy spot but you dont have to wait long. I only wish the manager will take into consideration the cleanliness of tables...Ive been here plenty times and I dine in all the time...but Ive never seen anyone come around to wipe tables clean... Chipotle, fix this please! Tip: the stairs lead to nowhere.
I stated in my survey that I did not report the problem. That is why I am taking this survey. The restaurant on Park Avenue and E. 31st St in NYC used to be my all time favorite Chipotle. The last two times, I have found it to be unclean. There was litter on the floors and the tables were not clean. The last time, the server placed my food on top of other food that had dropped on the counter. I am not sure I will go to this Chipotle again. Fortunately, I do have others in NYC, but just not in that particular area. I hope that someone does a quality control visit to the restaurant.
Quick eats. Lunch time is crowded and yet they get you in and out. 1st time eating Chipotle and they answered to me all my questions, all while taking the orders of those behind me at the same time. I dont know if was just that shift but I was greatly surprised. I will return to Chipotle again. Food was good. The line got too long and I didnt want to wait to get more food to go. So I left. The bathroom is definitely wheelchair accessible because its so huge.
This Chipotle is always packed around lunch time during the week days and fit the most part, the line moves pretty quickly. The space is clean with a lot of energy. Staff is friendly however you do notice you never get the full scoop of what you ask for. For example, you all for chicken and they scoop up an amount, spill some out and put that smaller portion in your meal. You pick up on this if you go to other Chipotle restaurants.You cant go wrong with a burrito bowl of any kind with summer guacamole.
Ive been to quite a few Chipotles, and I got the worst service here. I ordered online with plenty of time, and showed up exactly on time. My order was not ready, so they served the man in front of me, which was fine. But then I proceeded to watch them make what was a normal burrito bowl for him, only to find out upon opening mine that it was only half-full. They also gave him substantially more guacamole on top of his bowl than the full side that I was paying for. By the time I opened the bowl, I had already walked away from the counter and didnt want to make a scene. but to top it all off, the chips were totally stale as if theyve been sitting out for a day in the open. This is really inconsistent with other establishments that Ive been to, but even worse, was the tremendous inconsistency between two people working alongside one another. Very disappointing.
I ordered food and there was a fair skin gentleman work throwing food in the bowls like he didn’t wanna be there. Then the food was too salty I complained about it and the manager said that’s how the chicken is. I have eat chipotle for years and my experience with this store gave me a different outlook. I won’t eat again. Good luck for who want to go to this store on park ave they are very unprofessional.
Good service, food tastes good. But they need to learn how to make tacos. Taco Bell and Chipotle are competing with each other to make the worst tacos ever. But Bowls are good. They always have flavor. Tacos are Nasty; May be be good for anyone else but not for Mexicas. .
The service at chipotle has gone down and coming here confirmed it. The food was lukewarm, the employees serving the food were completely disinterested except for the cashier who was smiling and asking everyone how they were doing. Tables were messy, however, an employee came around to clean up the tables which was good. However, I dont see myself eating here or at any chipotle again. I hate being served with an attitude when I always make sure to smile and say thank you.
There is no rhyme nor reason as to the amount of meat given to each dish. There should be a fixed amount based on weight, size, etc. One employee was much more generous than the other, and I felt I was cheated. $10 plus is not inexpensive for a dish of rice, beans, etc. and very little meat. There should be so standard.
This place is usually good, but I just got tacos and they’re a mess. The girl mangled the burnt tortillas, put the chicken on before the rice, and put them in a bowl instead of tinfoil which makes it much harder to eat! The rice was a little hard too I couldn’t finish the last taco. Also I don’t think fake eyelashes are okay for food safety!
Terrible line service and portions. Asked for a tortilla on the side and whereas every other Chipotle folds the tortilla in some way (idrc how its folded), this girl straight out just crumbled it up and wrapped it in a ball of tin foil lolwtf.Came in December 3, Sunday night at 7p. Maybe thats why? Im sure this place might be great any other time, just definitely not the time I came here.
Terrible. Luke-warm, smelled like fake-smoke and had burnt bits. Steak was all gristle. Threw 80-90% of the bowl away after fishing out some pinto beans. Asked for an item on the side - it never made it to the bag. Asked for sour cream, it ended up sliding onto the counter, which the server then accidentally smeared all over the lid before sealing it up (not getting a new lid nor really even looking at the process). How far the giant has fallen.I used to love the pork burritos, but todays steak bowl was the nail in the coffin. Never again.
DO NOT COME HERE! The person making my bowl gave me such little portion of rice I can almost count the grains. I also was given half a big spoon of meat and when asked for more to fill up the whole bowl the response was “Extra chicken is more money”. I was upset knowing that little bit of meat is standard. Smh do not come here.
I have been going to chipotle for a while now all over the city, but is it just me? when I go to this location, I get very little portion of meat. I try to avoid this location just because of my bad streak of getting little portion. But they will load me up on rice and sour cream which I ask specifically for a small scoop. Whats up with that????
The service is horrible!!!! Ive gone back time and time again and I have the same complaint and always have to wind up throwing my food away - the rice is always undercooked and they overdo it with the onions and peppers... The chicken is also not cooked enough!!!! UGH another meal wasted today!
Not sure if is a new management or just the workers, but each time a go less food n if you tell them can you put a little more they give you a look like if they bought the food (no good device) I think for $11 dollar we should get enough for the price or lower your price .

2022-05-30I always order online so when I go there its always ready. One thing they can improve on is giving fast customers service.When I go there I sometimes have to wait 4/5 mins for online teams to get me my food ( even though its ready). But the cashier could easily help people out when there is no people in line. But she just stand there and talk to her co worker.This is not a complaint but this is what they can work on. So customers can get get their food faster and not have to wait longer. Otherwise everything else is good ☺️ 👍

2022-08-04I had a traumatic childhood experience here once. After that, I vowed I would never go back here again. Anyway, I was about 9/10 years old and I ordered a kids meal. They didn’t have the usual container so they put the food in the small containers that they use for sides. I was pretty unhappy as a shy 10 year old and wanted to step up for myself. So I went back into the store and said I was “unhappy” with the serving size that they provided me. The employees laughed at me and said that it was the same. By then I was extremely embarrassed because everyone was laughing at me.So I went home almost on the verge of tears and I realized that it was not the same amount of food that they usually give.Permanently scarred 10 year old

2022-08-18Not a good chipotle. New woman started working few weeks ago and she gives the smallest portions of any chipotle I’ve been to. At least 25% less by weight for the same bowl. Not returning to this location

2022-08-10I sat through a 20 minute line thanks to some very slow staff. Upon finally ordering my bowl, the staff gave me the smallest portions I have ever seen at a chipotle location. Certainly will not be returning.

2022-08-04No toilet for customers as required by law having 20 seats or more. Poor service and the place to dine in is not comfortable. Not recommended to dine in by the public customers.

2022-02-14I’ve been to this place a few times. I’ve ordered only twice and the food was not good. Rice hard, food cold, etc. So I decided to maybe go in person and order. As soon as I walked in the whole store smelled like they mopped with a dirty mop. Very musty which shouldve made me turn around but I said, “let me give this location one more chance”. Ordered my food which was quick and left. When I got back to work, the food was once again cold with hard rice. The chicken was burned on the outside and had a lot of fatty pieces I had to spit out. I couldn’t even finish it. I don’t know if it’s the time (evening) or what! Will not be attending this Chipotle again.

2019-04-07I excellent service on Sunday mornings and mid day! I can’t speak on weekdays. The food fresh and very generous, I love it I definitely will come here soften on Sundays.

2017-01-30I fell in love with chipotles consistently fresh and tasty, yet affordable, food years ago in Denver. As a veggie, I was ecstatic when they added sofritas (spiced tofu) to the menu. NYC however gives them stiff competition. I stopped in here while feeling hungry and nostalgic only to be shocked at the register.I can get a healthy salad and a glass at several places nearby for a similar price point, but Ill also get a much better dining experience, with wifi. The seating is dominated by cafe tables with stools. Chipotle, is it so hard to put coat and purse hooks underneath? Most ppl have to appropriate another stool for these necessities.
