Food taste so good! One of the best on Long Island! Some days it’s busy but the food will not disappoint you.
First time visit and found the food and service extremely good. Ordered both a roast pork and a steak entree with different rice combos and found both entrees large (leftovers)and also tasty. Couldnt try any desserts because we were full. Will be back to try other dishes.

Wow. I recently moved to this are, normally dont go out because of whats going on.😓😓 But today I had to go to citibank. Saw a sign for a Dominican Restaurant Mi Casa went in and was greeted by the hostess. She gave me all the possible way that I could place an order. I ordered the oxtail this😋😋😋sooo delicious. Rice and peas, a small salad, black beans, 2 pieces of sweet plantain, and a good amount of oxtail. I also order a green tea. All of that for $13. 46. Excellent and great quality food. Definetly coming back.
Food is delicious and the waitstaff is attentive. Probably my favorite Dominican restaurant in town, I brought people who had never had Dominican food before here knowing its a good representation. Im sorry to hear that others have had less than stellar experiences here but Id still tell folks to at least try it.
This restaurant is clean and new. The service was okay. The food is GREAT. They serve huge portions for a low cost. The food is of quality and large quantity. I have been here several times for take up and dining in. They also have entertainment on some nights as well. Its definitely worth the trip for a nice meal away from the mile.
Mi Casa Dominican Restaurant is a great restaurant.The food there is excellent, The food is cooked very nicely. The service is good there.The stuffed lobster is excellent. I tried almost everything on that menu and it came out excellent. The staff is very friendly. My kids and family love the food there. The appetizers are really good(my kids eat all the bread).the desserts are delicious,(Tres leche cake is my favorite dessert).Ive been there many times! Ive enjoyed my stay and you should too!
They are STEALING FROM CUSTOMERS!!!!!I am so disgusted with this place. I went with my daughters, our food arrived and no utensils, no offer for water. The worst part was the check, I received my check for $43 and gave my card to be charged that amount and they came back charging me over $57 for additional food I did not order. After going back and forth with their mistake, they charged me additional service fee for the credit card in which was THEIR MISTAKE!!! I am so distrusted that I will file a formal complaint.. they should not be doing business like this, this is robbery!!! What they attempted to do was ILLEGAL!!! Everyone CHECK YOUR BILL!!! That night there were two other customers questioning their checks.
Came with my daughter for dinner at 7pm for Easter Sunday, not busy. The food was ok, the fried pork was dry and hard, they ran out of bread, no bug deal so they gave us salad..the customer service is not good. After we got our food the waitress never came to check on us. When I told her the pork was hard like a rock she insisted that the pork is supposed to be hard..I tapped the plate with it to tell her no it is not supposed to be hard like that unless SHE likes it like that..she gave us to go plate, left and waited another 20 minutes to get a check. She didnt even bother to ask if we wanted dessert. They need more training..
What a nice little place we come here every other month for dinner, the food is very good we really enjoy coming here tonight we had the ox tail dinner 1st plate was ox tails 2nd plate had a choice of white or yellow rice, red or black beans and plantains it also comes with a side salad. For those of you who just like appetizers the wings are very good and those of you who enjoy calamari rings p probably the best i have had very tender and not chewy, so come hungry and you will leave full you may even have a bag to take home.
Good food but for some reason the waitress would not substitute the tostones for the maduros.... she made me order a side of maduros.... and I had to throw the tostones away in the garbage because I just cant eat them.... all the money you spend here, youd think that customer satisfaction was a priority but I guess not....

The food here is really good. However today I got a slice of Dominican cake and it was horrible it tastes like it had been sitting out for two weeks. My suggestion ask when it was made before you order.
Great food but some traditional Latin dishes are not available. Like Pollo guisado the dishes are more presented in a decorative fashion with nice food designs to impress the eyes. Overhaul the food was hot it was good and the price was reasonable.
My first time here and the food great, good service and a lunch special that will know you out of this world with the price.
The food we ordered was perfection. This was our first time ordering a delivery from this place and I got to say it definitely wont be the last. First time neither one of us have something to complain about. The quesadilla was delicious and the breaded chicken omg it was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for great food that wont break the bank. We eat out 90% of the time and Mi Casa just became one of our Fav.
We came in for Mother’s Day the restaurant was not full there were 3 tables available.....we got seated and had to wait 30mins for a server to take our order after that it took 3hrs for our food to get to our table....the manager and the servers were arguing among each other very unprofessional....would not recommend to come on special days such as this
Been here so many times, lost count. Food never disappoints. Fantastic selection and fresh. Whether you choose dine-in or take out, the oxtail and pernil stands out. Staff is top notch and efficient. Food is delicious. I would give it 4 stars but Ive been there a few times and the customer service isnt so great the manager is very nice or owner he comes around and ask if were doing okay but the waitresses are alittle rude and not friendly .. Im Puerto Rican are you Puerto Rican food every day which is very similar to Dominican and when I go out I want to have some fun and for them to be hospitable I definitely wont be back.
The prices of the online menu are different from the menu in the restaurant. I went because the on line menu prices.The music is too loud. Loud. Loud.The service from the waitress not good at all. They are not pending if something else is need it.I like the food. Good job for the people in the kitchen👍👍👍
Restaurants need to understand that its not only about the quality of the food youre serving but customer service is just as important. This is the third time that I came here to order and its 1000+women employees behind the bar and none of them had the courtesy to take my order in a timely fashion. You’d think I came in there selling dvds or something. They’re looking at me as if I’m asking for money or for a job. And of course when another customer comes through the door (their people) they are all attentive and get right to it. Its not really nice and quite disappointing. I dont think I will be ordering from them again.

Food is decent and the environment is fun if youre looking for something to do during the late weekend hours. Kareoke and other events make it a place to check out once in a while . Did not try the food so cannot comment on that.

Totally agree about these thieves. Man who took toldmy phone order quoted me a price that was $20 more than there web site. He said that was the old menu. I said cancel the order. Make sure you check the bill!

Love this place. Food was tasty. Huge portions and price was fair. It is clean and play nice music. They are open until midnight and their entrees are reasonable!
So ordered some monfongo like its simple enough cant get messed up.....Well I was wrong! It was soooo dry even with the miniscule amount of sauce they give you I was searching for the tequila I was drinking just to wash it down. Next I ordered a chicharron like they really cant mess that up. Again I was wrong, I have pieces of chopped pork on the side that again was drier than the Sahara. Called the restaurant to ask whats up their response I have to specify if I want it on the inside or the outside.What?! If that was an option why not have it on the menu when ordering online. So instead of eating a meal to suck up some of this alcohol Im eating lettuce with some ranch dressing, even my very greedy pug walked away from it after having a bite of the dry pork. Le Sigh.

Food is terrifyingly tasteless for a Dominican restaurant. I had to use some ketchup to get a few more bites in of my mofongo, which was a huge red flag to me. I should have returned to the kitchen but I didnt as I was with family and didnt want to disturb dinner like that. Mom said her fish was tasteless too. Also my morir soñando was basically just the milk poured into the glass. And the prices!! Wow. Even Sabor Dominicano is better.
1st- Mi CASA Never have my order right. There has been times I have to call several times in order for someone to pick up the phone.2ndly -which always annoys me most I have to tell over the background music( and a bit of a pmaguage barrier at times) when calling in my orderIt would have been 3.5 stars possibly 4 If they would improve on the above items.3rd -The food is not bad but at times it can be extremely salty but I continue to support in hopes that they will read this review and upgrade their mediocre customer service.Hope this helps

Puddle of oil under my chicken and the whole entree was room temperature. The attentiveness of the waitresses was abysmal. Either walking in and out aimlessly, throwing silverware in the back or just sitting at the bar.For some reason she was surprised when we had to call her over for the check. As if she had forgotten she’s supposed to be working.

I called to placed an order for the other day and the person that picked up the phone was so rude that she made me feel like i didnt know what i was ordering. She sounded like she didnt want to take the order and was rushing me thru the phone. Meanwhile, i was still trying to hold my self from saying something, she still keep ok giving me an attitude. The owner is nasty rude too. Wont be coming back here... Costumer service is a must and if a place cant provide you that, they clearly dont care about you.
Horrible service, my waistress name was Cristina and I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service. They gave me a drink I did not order and when I told her that’s not what I wanted she was unbothered and didn’t offer to fix her mistake, I had to pay for a drink I didn’t touch I’m lactose intolerant and the drink she gave me had milk. They didn’t give us any water so I just had to eat my food with no drink period. They didn’t give us any utensils, we had to ask for it. They didn’t give us any bread or anything to wait for the food. By the time I got my food I was so annoyed that I just couldn’t enjoy it.

Best Dominican Food around ! Some of the best stuff I’ve tried, - Churrasco steak is amazing and worth the price ! Also the Mofongo... the traditional and the shrimp option . Piece of heaven !

2021-11-29Today was my first time going to this restaurant and omg it was amazing!!! One of the best natural Dominican juices I’ve ever had and the food tasted like little drops of heaven. The service was amazing our waitress was super nice and caring at all times even offered us coffee after, I will definitely be returning and I hope you guys keep up the great work and service we saw today.

2021-11-17Amazing food. The staff is very friendly. I love this Dominican restaurant so much that I got at least once a week. Love the food so much. Here is a picture of one of my favorites the Bandeja Quisqueyana for 2. My other favorite is the bandeja típica. Delicious and so much food for 2 that there is always a lot left to take home.

2020-03-18Since moving to the area I have been here twice and I can honestly say it’s one of my favorite restaurants already! Everything was so fresh and delicious, I can’t wait to go back! I don’t speak Spanish so my boyfriend orders for me and the waitresses were really fast and attentive. The atmosphere is comfortable and it’s not so loud that you can’t have a conversation. Fabulous!! 🔥

2022-04-12Because they don’t assist you if your not they culture I was standing at the bar for 20 they have bad service online with Uber eats and door dash I will never come back again because of the service you have to be Dominican for them to help you I will be communicating this to the town because I pay taxes and I’m person of the community and will not let a restaurant treat the people of the community this was

2021-07-18Took a long time to place my take out order after I walked in. Maybe I’m too polite by simply standing there. Maybe it’s cuz I’m not local looking enough. Either way, service needs a step up. Food was good, not great. Especially for the price. Maybe I had high expectations of this place meeting up to the standard I have from places in Corona or Jackson Heights. This fell short. Still, if you’re simply looking for some Dominican food, I guess it’ll do.
