The food was ok but the service is horrible. Chicarrones de pollo sin hueso (crispy chicken with no bones) was delicious but needed a thicker batter for the crunch.

Terrible service, I placed an order and instead of informing me that they didnt have the product they left me sitting for an hour before telling me that they went out to buy the ingredients to make the dish. When I asked for a refund they refused to give it to me and kept pleading for me to wait and it went on until the food arrived. After the food arrived Ive been annoyed enough that I just took it only for the food to not be well done, the proportions of the patty to the bun was less than half and the fries were beyond soggy and mashed. I just threw out the food and left.

They gave me rice that had hard and soft pieces in it, then they gave me the incorrect order. This is why I should always check my order before I leave an establishment. Although the order was wrong I wouldnt have mind it but come on dont give the burnt hard a** rice highly disappointed. I wont be returning.
I called to order a simple delivery, the lady on the phone could not understand my order and messed it all up. I asked for two avocado salads, which is recommended on their menu. I was charged for two whole avocados which was never sent with my order. When I called back, I was told that I paid for avocados and not for the salad. When I advised her that I did not receive even the avocados with my order I received a very rude earful; and not even an apology for her confusion. The woman that I spoke with was incredibly rude and yelled at me the entire conversation. Needless to say, I will never order from this establishment again!!
Bring Back All The Old Recipes. Because Whatever That Is You Guys Are Making Now Is Nasty And Not Appetizing. The Beans Taste Sweet And Not Savory At All Plus They Have All This Unnecessary Stuff In It That They Never Had. The Chicken Doesn’t Taste The Same And Neither Does The Chicharrón. Maybe 2/3 Year Ago I Would’ve Recommended This Place To Everyone But Now Not So Much! Save Your Money!
I have ordered from the restaurant on seamless, I ordered the Combo 3 and a Fried Pork Mofongo for my family of 4. The ETA was 1 hour from the time we ordered, which was at 3:30 pm. At the time the order was supposed to arrive. We called the restaurant and they gave us little to no information about our order. We called multiple times between the times we ordered to the time it actually arrived, the phone line was busy and when they picked up, they said that the delivery is on its way and that was it. The order came 3 hours after we ordered. The food was delicious but the order of beans, that comes with the combo, had more sauce than actual beans. Also the salad, that also included in the combo, was more of a personal salad than an actual platter, wasn’t enough for the four of us. And they also gave us the wrong 2 liter soda. Other than that, the food was delicious, we finished dinner with clean plates. But it wasn’t worth the 3 hour wait.

Omg. I had a flight and was starting. Came across this dominican restaurant. We stopped here, service was amazing, staff was very attentive a d the FOOD!!!!. I ordered white rice, chicken stew with peas, my wife ordered green banana with chicken, and my mother and law Rice and peaswith pepper steak. A side of sweet plantains and advocado salad. Everything was so amazing to taste. The price was very friendly as well!!!! Will return if were ever in the area for sure. 😊
Food is usually good. The wait time to put in your order in always long. They move very slow and customer service is horrible. I went there yesterday and wanted to try the cheesecake. I noticed the package didnt have an expiration date. When I look more closely at the cheesecake there was mold on it. I went back and tried to tell them discreetly. They lady just rudely gave me back my money by slapping it down on the counter. Every other time she always gave me my change in my hand respectfully. After this experience it was a done deal. Will definitely not be going back there. No wonder their food grade is pending as posted on the window.

Wont be eating here ever again. Our family has been eating here for a long time. However, today was our last time doing so. The pork & steak were not seasoned. In the end, they hit my debit card with a Customer Service Charge Ive never heard of. I use my card everywhere & never get charged extra for doing so. Very disappointing experience!

IT used to be a good restaurant but not any more the food is bad and when I said bad I means it has no taste. Customer service was ok because of the waitress but then you have the other lady behind the counter taking the oder through the phone being so loud and at times being rude to the waitress that it make me and my wife feel uncomfortable.
Wow no one in line and i asked if they can cut my burrito in 2 i asked when i orders it and then later when they handed it to me. Nope told me where to find a plastic knife. Some people should not have jobs where they have to deal with people. Instead of spending 2 seconds they ended up with a angry customer. Food was ok not worth the bread but lame service should keep you away . Oh yes burrito was $18.

My my my. The food is delicious. Live music and DJ on weekends. Went in a group of 14, and all was handled very well. Food was fresh and tasty. Every time I am in town. It is a must. I make sure I stay hungry before going. Prices are extremely economical. Wish the had one like this in my neck of woods
Update. 7/2018.. i decided to give them another chance. I’ve ordered here several times and had no issue. This time it was terrible. I didn’t get what i ordered. Items were missing. They took a extra hour for delivery. And when i called and spoke to manager she caught a attitude and told me i can warm the food up since it was cold and can tell was sitting a while. Very unprofessional. They definitely lost a customer.I’ve ordered here several times usually get a combo. The chicken is very good. Tres leche is not good. But today I went to pick up food got home had a long black hair in my yellow rice. Disgusted now. This is what I paid for.

Horrible, i just called ordered a pc of salmon and the salad and red beans on the side,.. they gave me the rice instead of salad so i brought it back. She said if she takes the rice back for the salad it will be the same price. Ok no problem, i then sat down to wait for the salad. She comes back with an attitude giving me the salad, and then she takes the beans off my table. ( i said 4 times what i wanted once they gave me the rice which was the salmon rice and beans) so now im asking her why did she take them she said if i return the rice then it comes with the beans like MISS THE PRICE DID NOT CHANGE. $15.00 for a small salmon and salad. I do not mind paying for quality food when its quality but this woman was extremely RUDE and was not listening. She was so busy getting aggravated that they kept messing up my order. Will never eat here again! HORRIBLE
Guest service was subpar, waiters have no sense of urgency. Food was on time just to recieve them cold, they just microwaved them afterwards. The steak consistency and taste like it was done the day before and they just add sauce to rehydrate it.
The food is mediocre and this is my second time purchasing tres leche cake only to come home and taste it to realize that it was spoiled. Not good for business. My kids could have gotten sick. Very irresponsible.

There is no complimentary parking. Street parking only. The tostones are the best. They serve them in bread baskets. The garlic sauce is really good, filled with tons of garlic. The staff is rude. But the food is great. Prices are very reasonable.
Not a place I will recommend. I order their chicken combo to go. The chicken was burnt and dry, the maduros were not ripe or sweet and the rice was dry. The customer service however was good.
Very poor customer service. I understand that some days people have bad days but their staff is really incompetent at the moment to serve you. The quality of the food is decent but I had have some bad experiences with some dishes. Overall is a good place if you are hungry and want to grab something fast but I will not continue buying from this stablishment.

Five star for the manager, he’s VERY nice and understanding! He actually cares about people’s order and life, for him it’s not just business; unlike his wife. I ordered an Paella NOT an Paella Valenciana yet, I got Paella Valenciana!! I opened the Container and took a spoon full not realizing that it has meat, I quickly spit the food back into the container and threw out the plate. I DONT EAT MEAT FOR REASONS I DONT HAVE TO DISCUSS WITH ANYONE, BUT I DID WITH HER ANYWAYS. I called the place, phoneline was busy three times. Once someone picked up, it was the manager’s wife. I explained the situation to her which she apologized for but then told me I had to pay half price for another plate since I threw the out first plate. I paid full Price the first time, why would I pay again? Wasn’t even my mistake, it was the cooks fault. She clearly told me I could’ve sent the plate back to serve it to someone else when they ordered Paella Valenciana. AFTER I TOUCHED IT AND SPIT out the spoon full of rice I placed IN MY MOUTH, she was going to serve it to someone? I asked to speak to the light-skinned male manager since she wasn’t understanding me or just didn’t want to understand me . She replied saying “ that’s my husband & I am also manager”. I said okay well let me speak to him anyways. It currently has been about three hours later and every time I called back to speak to manager, he’s not available. He’s out getting a haircut at 11:00pm. ........ okay, sure.

Long wait but really tasty and affordable. Better to order from home or to order to go than eating there. Besides dinner they have guanábana, mamey or any tropical fruit smoothies that you can think of. I tried the guanábana or sour soap and it was delicious and fresh.
So our chicken was cold to the touch. Called the restaurant. Spoke with the Manager Joanna. Who was so kind and apologetic. Sent another whole chicken. Food is great.
For this place to be called a Dominican restaurant is a disgrace. The food tasted generic and lacked flavor. Absolutely nothing special. They put no effort into making the food taste good. Could not even eat there. Waited a while for a server to take our order and even longer for food to arrive. Didnt have silverware until after food arrived and we had to ask for it. When food arrived a bug was found on the table and then staff was not pleasant about it

Some of the best food in NY by far. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and it is by far the best Chicken Parm I have ever had and I’m Italian so that’s saying something.

If I could not put any stars I wouldnt! I ordered a delivery, the total was $ 60. My order never arrived complete and what arrived was 1 hour and a half later. Call delivery and they tell me they didnt put the mofongo on my receipt and when I called the store they never picked up the phone.
Very bad attention, the waitress was angry because I asked her to clean the table for me. Apart from that the prices alter them, they tell you one thing and come up with another. My sister-in-law asked for a fried fish and they gave her a grilled fish, they decide x one. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

2022-07-02Ive been going to this place for many years now I used to live in Richmond Hill where its located its a bit busy but they take good care of you and the ladies waitresses are very nice the owner is very nice as well Im at a friend there today he sent me straight on a few things and I appreciate him for that a good friend is hard to find and its a good place to meet up with friends tomorrow will be having his birthday there cant wait

2019-11-10Nice comfy spot to enjoy some classic Dominican eats. Servers are always nice and friendly. Their roasted chicken is nice and juicy. The fries are crisp, and delicious. They have a wide selection of drinks. The mix/pick platter is nice however it’s kind of greasy. Beans and rice is done nicely. The bread pudding is good.

2018-10-03Went for weekday lunch. Plenty of table availability, looked very clean, waitress was extremely sweet and attentive. Meal arrived in a timely manner. Flavor was amazing!! Real authentic cooking. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable.Took left overs to go and added a slice of Dominican cake which I was to full to even taste, but you cant go to a Dominican place and not take home some cake!Any of their soups will heal you ailments and your soul :-)
