Always has what I need for school projects when your a member of there rewards they give small discounts when you dont but alot of things from them like only 1 or 2 small things they might look at you like if you can afford any of the things they have.Really safe employees always making sure nobodys stealing sometimes they follow you around the story if your not dressed up but they soon leave you when they find out your not stealing and just trying to buy.
I never find the odd item I am searching for at Michaels. I usually use their coupons to buy something I dont need. Waste of money and time.

I would of given it 5 stars but the shelves were nearly empty with their Christmas decorations. A salesperson told me they have only received 30% of their holiday items. So disappointing

Always a great selection of arts and crafts supplies. Stock is plentiful and the store is clean and organized. Curbside pickup is fast and very easy. Each store may differ a bit on their stock, but I can always find what I need in store or online with no problem

Went there to buy a christmas tree and they were on sale for half off and extremely reasonably priced. The cashier was nice and friendly. They loaded the box in the car for me as well. Highly reccomend this store.
The store was clean and well stocked. My only gripe is I wish they had more wood project kits or other type of kits that we can create. Only saw a pinewood derby kit and a few leather kits

First off I want to start off by saying that the customer service in this store is beyond amazing. Not only did they find what I needed but also were able to communicate with me about it which not many places do. It was very refreshing to see that. They always have everything Im looking for whenever I have a last minute craft need. Store looked haphazardly organized and/or slightly dishevelled, but then again thats been the mood of 2020, so its forgivable. They didnt have exactly to a T what I was searching for but they had very suitable replacement and then also the other thing I definitely was looking for so I left spending money on things I wanted so win-win.
I only went in here to keep my wife from being mad at me for staying in the car while she went in by herself. If that doesnt say true love, I dont know what does!
I remember when this store was the go to place for paints. It was like a paint ghost town again today like it has been for awhile. I guess supply is down due to COVID-19. Took a drive to Hobby Lobby and they didnt have the same supply issues. Not sure what to think. Hobby on!
Ive been visiting Michaels for quite some time with my Wife and Daughter. If you dont mind the stores not being well kept, organized and updated, they have a little something for everyone. Whether you like making crafts, painting, drawing, building models, baking cakes, color by number or just looking around and hoping to be inspired to build something with what you see, its worth the trip. They even have classes you can attend.There are coupons available online and in store. I highly recommend using them. You may have to sign up or something to get them in emails. My Wife uses them regularly. Check them out and go make something beautiful.

Wide selection of paints, brushes, chalk, pencils, glitter, specialty arts and crafts paper, and more. Also hads various wooden crafts and wood stock for wood projects. Shelving and storage solutions for lots of crafting supplies. They also have Cricut machines as well as Cricut vinyl rolls, Cricut iron on transfers, Cricut tools, Cricut irons for doing iron on transfers.
Great cashiers who gave me a small coupon when my girlfriends phone wouldnt load. Beautiful flowers that are cheap but dont look cheap

Ive been coming to this Michaels for years. It is pretty consistent in its cleanliness. Over the past two years or so, it has become more organized, with better displays and overall layout. The quantity and selections is amazing! The staff is usually helpful but theyre friendliness varies (some seem overworked, shy, or just annoyed). From my most recent visit, the staff member V was so patient, helpful, and friendly (even though she seemed a little shy at first).
JOHN in framing was THE BEST person to EVER HELP me in any store I’ve ever been inside...EVER.Ever ever ever. He was so extremely helpful, and sweet, and just freaking awesome. give him a raise!!!
I prefer other craft stores due to the price differences but they do have certain things here you wont find elsewhere. Definately has high quality crafts and materials and decently quick service, but certainly not the most customer friendly place during the closing hours.
As a former employee of Michael’s store, I sympathize with the employees. But there’s no one on the floor so I usually have to end up going back to the photo framing section in speaking with someone on there if I need to know the location of something. Also, just a hot tip: if you’re looking to get the real price just ask for the coupon at the register. It’s usually 30%

I had a custom frame made for a painting. It costs an arm & a leg. Then it was not finished on time, then it was done wrong, then it took over another month to correct it, then I didnt get the mounting hardware back, then they gave me the wrong hardware. Had to call them over and over to get an update. Made 6 trips to the store to get 1 framed picture. I still have to install the hardware to the frame because I dont want to go back again.
Very busy this time of year but the employees and management are courteous and helpful. Unfortunately due to the good sales on some of the stuff thus store and surrounding BBBs were out of stock and werent exactly sure of the time of restocking.Oh well! But it wont stop me from going back!
Has pretty much everything i need. As an artist Im coming here literally every week and it it my lifeline. This place has art supplies, craft supplies, cooking and baking supplies and so much more along with kid workshops that i participated in when i was younger. They were so much fun back then.

If you are crafty and need a fix, Michaels gets those creative brain cells working on overtime. Sign up to be a member and you will usually have a coupon at checkout. Along with craft supplies, classes are available. Have fun!
Good selection, but Ive had this issue with on sale items not actually being on sale. For example, there was a big yellow sign on a bin of washi tape that said clearance washi tape $5 but that sale didnt apply to any of the tape in the bin (those costed $21), it applied to the products on a shelf on the other side of the store. Whenever I bring this up, the staff are super helpful and I appreciate that a lot, but this feels like bad practice, because I can imagine most people wont realize until after theyve paid. :/
The store itself is awesome. However I am very confused why they have a high curb where a handicap individual should have access to the parking lot. There is literally no access for somebody in a wheelchair they have to go around the entire parking lot. If anybody has been there they know what I mean. The sidewalk to and from the store is accessible however going towards the parking lot there’s just a curb and nowhere to go other than around. Can somebody do something about this place.

Doesnt offer alot of different varieties of yarns in store compare to the Michael in Bay shore.
I was with a very close friend of mine, look for some craft supplies. We went into the store ask a store clerk and was pleasantly assisted to the item she was interested in. Simple, easy and hassle free!!!!!! Excellent experience highly recommended.
Getting a Real Madrid autographed jersey framed. Lady assisting my 13 year old son was very nice and explained her thoughts so he understood. Then showed him a rendition of how it would looked framed. Couldnt be happier with the service. Cannot wait to see the finished product.
Michaels always has all the arts and crafts supplies for the basic projects I undertake. I always end up leaving the store with much more than what I went in for. Walking to the paint aisle, I decide that I have the time to take up knitting or how fun scrapbooking would be. The store will give you lots of ideas for projects that you seemingly have time for. The only downside is that most of their stuff is overpriced. Make sure you bring coupons! There are always a few on their website. I easily access and download these on my phone while waiting in line for the cashier.
This place has that line where you have to go through a maze of products to get to a register. I find that to be a desperate attempt to sell you one last product. I dislike this very much. But if you are into crafting them this store is probably for you. Im an ordained minister so when I have a wedding I come here to purchase items for the weddings I officiate.
Good deals on frames. Staff should probably brush up on their knowledge of where items are located and it would be helpful if they actually showed you where to find stuff rather than pointing across the store.

Very good selection of certain types of crafts. There stamp options habe been dwindling. I suppose you can order from a larger selection on their website but I prefer my crafting purchases be done in person.
I come here for my acrylic paints and I love their selection of paint brands. My only issue is that they do not sell a lot of artist tools at this location. I am not sure if other locations do.

I was there on Saturday Thanksgiving weekend the store was packed the checkout line was around the store twice a real spreadiing Ground for cove 19nobody counting how many people in the store was a disaster I left immediately

Store is just like every other Michaels Ive been too. My only complaint is the oddly arranged floor plan. Its like youre in a maze looking for items due to how odd the center floor plan is. Both sides of the center floor are like half aisles along with a wall separating each side. It can get a bit weird once youre walking, so youll just have to see for yourself if you visit this location. I dont know if all Michaels are like this (I dont recall having issues finding items with previous Michaels Ive been) but it is still a bit jarring to me how such a store can feel so disorganized. Staff is alright as they all seem to be doing their own thing, but they are there if you need them. Dont expect them to walk up to you asking if you need help with anything.
Very customer friendly ,even have a service for your kids to do arts and crafrd while you shop for a small fee of 2$ per child with supplies included 3+ age limit . And they have it all.

Not too happy with the frame department. Spent 400 framing a portrait and had to bring it back 3 times to reframe. It was a Christmas gift for out of towners and now Im left with paying $80 to have it shipped out of state.
Its a pretty standard craft store. Their prices are a bit high on non-sale items, but sales and coupons are common and make most items reasonably priced.
HUGE store in StonyBrook by SmithHaven Mall. Walked in to look for magnets. Simple, right? Well apparently not. NO STAFF to be found except two cashiers and one employee by the picture framing section. While I was there THREE customers asked ME if I worked there! I TRIED to help myself and eventually had to CALL the store on my cellphone to ask where to find the magnets! I was told Aisle 53. Problem solved, right? Apparently NOT! Aisle 53 was there alright, filled with T-SHIRT stuff. Hmmm! Called the store again seeing as STILL no employees to help. Asked for the Manager and waited. And waited. And WAITED!!! Called and spoke to Samantha who eventually walked over to meet me by Aisle 53. Found magnets in different aisle! Went to pay up front and saw the long line with now FOUR cashiers! Oh and one of the cashiers was apparently the STORE MANAGER Cara. Nice staffing situation! She was extremely UNSYMPATHETIC to the knowledge that I had to actually ring the store to get help. Wasted MY time! Nice going MICHAELS! BIG ZERO STARS if I could give it to you!

Picked up from the frame center and a lovely women helped me but the tassel on the grad frame was tangled so she had to redo it and then I asked her for help with an over the counter frame and she charged me $33 without telling me the price for a $10 frame.

The goods are standard forthe chain. The staff is not super friendly, there is a lot of eye rolling. The line is always long and slow. On more than 1 occasion, I have left instead of waiting.

2022-07-02They didnt have what I was looking for. The mechanisms for a tide clock. They did have it for a regular clock replacement. Also looked for small solar lights for inside my windows. None found.Also couldnt find cute decorative wall nightlights.

2022-04-10Ive started crocheting amigurmi. I purchased crochet hooks, tapestry threads and needles, and some yarns. Everything Ive purchased is alright, I just wish they carried more yarn colors in the store.

2022-03-21This was actually my first time placing an online order and going to pick it up in store. That being said, the woman at the cash register was BEYOND rude and completely unhelpful to me. I wasnt sure how it worked or where I go to pick the order up, if I hsdnto wait in line with the other shoppers or not. Jist asking I got a nasty attitude from her! I had no problem waiting in line, I was planning on shopping and making an instore purchase anyway as well. So I gathet what I wanted additional to my order and waited. She calls me down and then was again rude! Interupted what I was saying, condescended me for no reason over explaining I had to wait for someone else to open thr thing behind her thrn cut that off and rudely told me to go over there as she throws her hands to point at the rack and search for my order...which wasnt there it was unclear to anyone why... turns out it was behind her locked up and she did have a key... she opens it grans my stuff and rudely says Look at that IT WAS HERE and slams it down on the counter and tells me Thank You!?!... very uncomfortable shopping experience. That woman is awful!

2022-02-04The layout is kind of all over the place, and there is a LOT of leftover Christmas stuff, even this late into the year. They were out of stock on a bunch of things I needed, but I still found almost everything, and all the stuff I bought is holding up well.
