I went to this pizzeria today and the service was terrible.. the place was dirty and unkempt. I placed an order to be picked up and when I got home and looked at my food there was a roach coming out of the box!!! I was completely disgusted!! I tried to call and speak with the owner but was told repeatedly that he wasn’t available. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!!
Dont even wanna give one star. Rudest owner of a business doesnt even know how to handle a business. Dont go to this place youre gonna be waiting for more than 40 minutes on a single order Dont ever go there.
The food was good, there’s a dine in option, drinks, a wide variety of food and it’s not just pizza, they have a resturang type thing in the back which you can order pasta, pastries and they even have ice cream and a wide variety of cakes. I love supporting small businesses so you should def go here, after a long grocery shopping at lidls just walk a few feet for fresh pizza. 🍕
Since the new ownership has taken over, the place has gotten excellent. Great food and huge selection. Their Sicilian slices are nicely portioned and taste great. Sauce is included with knots!!! Their knots are a meal in themselves. Huge selection of desserts as well. Only about 3-4 tables for lunch so be aware. Love this place and we will be back!
I ordered two slices for myself and my girlfriend and we really enjoy the atmosphere and the food and the owner was very pleasant.
Came in to get a couple slices. havent had pizza in a while I live in Florida. I will never come back. Disgusting undercooked dough.I wouldnt even waste my time tasting it.what happens when you dont have the right people making your food for your business
Use to order from here a lot till the pizza started getting over cooked bottom of the pizza was burned haven’t ordered in months mother in law came over wanted pizza ordered from here 2 pies one pie was burned on top and both were burned on the bottom waste of 37$ will never order from here again, not to mention if you order for delivery it takes over an hour and you receive a burned cold pizza. Will not recommend
Pizza, subs and garlic knots were all delicious and made fresh to order. They have a very small pizzeria seating area with more room in the restuarant portion to the rear of the place. So I highly recommend this location for take out. I will definitely be back.
Tonight I’m stuck on the side of the highway because my tire was long gone into the woods it went. My husband and brother in law were trying to figure out how they were getting the tire back on and a nice gentleman had stopped to ask if we needed help. He introduced himself and we did like wise. Come to find out he was the owner of my favorite pizza place. After listening lightly to the men introducing themselves and Douglas stating he was the owner I had to but in and tell him that was my favorite pizza place. Quoting “Thursday night pizza”. Their food is amazing. The pizza is always fresh, soft and made to perfection. The employees are always happy and greeting you with smiles and professionalism!!! Will always be my number 1 pizza place!
New owners. Took my pizza back it tasted like burnt plastic. Salad was all slimy with brown lettuce on the bottom. Then they wanted to stall giving me a refund. Not smart. I will never go there again and let all my friends know of my experience. Last owners were fantastic. Not anymore..
I ordered food for my anniversary on Oct. 24th.. The person that took my order put my credit card info in, and told me to hold on. The next voice on the phone was the owner. I was told that the card info was wrong, it had to be put in again.. Lo and behold my card was charged twice.. I told the owner that both transactions were pending on my card, and he said dont worry, only one $34.+ would be charged. A week later, both charges were deducted from my card, and I was told that I would not get my money back, because the amounts dont match.. He doesnt know that I didnt order twice within 3 mins of each other.. Mind you, the food is not that great, (its very bland), and I dont know of ANYONE that would pay 64.+ for a meatball parm. hero, house salad, soup, and a slice of cheese cake!.. God dont like ugly.. He will repay.. And this place WILL answer for not accepting my proof..
They said an hour, it was almost 2 hours. I asked please dont over cook the pizza slice its for a little child. It came and the crust was hard as a rock and underneath the pizza the crust was dark dark . He had 2 bites and that was it. My shrimp parm hero was ice cold. I asked for ceasar salad and i i got lettuce with tomato and croutons. Second time we are disappointed, not going back
I was pleasantly surprised by what they have to offer. From the outside it looks like a small pizzeria, but they have a whole dining area in the back. It was quiet when we went but it was also late so there werent any other diners. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and we went on pasta night so it was affordable. Even the salad was amazing, lettuce was very fresh looking and lots of dark greens not those sad side salads you see in many places with lots of tasteless white bits or bruised/browning leaves. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because I had received silverware that looked a bit dirty and had to send back, and the decor is quite old and wallpaper is peeling, but if you dont care about decor and just want some delicious Italian food (they have a wide variety) and friendly service, then Id recommend it.
I started coming here for the $5 lunch special. The food is excellent. The staff is very personable. I mentioned I am moving out of NY, and they offered to undercook & wrap a couple of pies to go so we can enjoy that NY pizza we all love states away. Cafe Rosa is doing things right.
The pizza was good but the dough is not. My Father got sick from the pizza. We were very dissatisfied. Everything we asked for he didnt have. It was on the menu and he didnt have Arugula salad he advertised. Then I asked for anchovies( again on menu; they didnt have). Then we ordered dessert. You guessed it. There was just one item that he had on his menu. The other 6 items he didnt have and then offered other items not even on the menu.
The Employees are very accommodating. Food is delicious. They seem to come out with more and more specialty items. Chicken Michelangelos is great. Its like Chicken Frances with Broccoli and Mozzarella cheese. Definitely a must.
The food was undercooked and my seafood Platter looked like seafood soupWay to much sauce on it....would go back for the pizza only ...
We tried Michelangelo’s for the first time today. Pizza is a great and the employee’s (especially the young lady who took our order) are friendly! Highly recommended :)
Carolann berry of course theyre going to charge you for blue cheese it aint free they gotta pay for it too what you expect everything for free.. and I doubt they were too busy talking when theres a customer at the counter not being helped.. I know the family and I know the place the pizza is the best pizza in town hands down.. also there huge garlic knots are the best. I recommend to eat it and enjoy it the delicious food
Pizzeria had placed a flyer in local paper advertising specials. Upon calling in my order, I was told there were no garlic knots, and garlic bread would be substituted. Upon arriving to pick up the order, I was charged DOUBLE the price for the order because they stated there was a typo in the flyer. They did not let me know this before I arrived or when I placed the order. This happened to many other folks on line with me. The garlic bread was awful, AND I paid full price for all of it. I would have rather received a regular italian loaf from the supermarket. The mozzarella sticks were barely cooked. The LARGE pizza was more like a medium. The only decent item was the cicillian pie, but for the price I paid, I would have went somewhere else. I belive this was a ploy to drive up business for the week. Poor business practice charging everyone full price when we had a coupon for their advertised special. They should have at least offered us a coupon for a free large pie Mon-Thursday to make up for the difference in price, never mind the sub-par food.
The workers are beyond funny and friendly. I love talking with them. The establishment is also pretty clean and organized with a precise location just close to my residence, not to mention the food is beyond delicious. I recommend this place, and Im also definitely coming back!

Decided to give this place a 2nd shot ONLY for the cheesecake Not the food! The owner made me feel pressured into buying new deli products they have after i said i just want cheesecake!!!!!! But i seen the frozen box the cheesecake comes in and i will just order it from the place. They dont make the dessert fresh i will officially never return! POTATO SALAD AND PIZZA?Usually have lunch here with my husband they are very friendly.........tonight i ordered togo food which I waited 1 hour and 30 mins for so of course it was ice cold delivery driver snatched my money out my hand before i could get a good grip on my food ...while trying to make sure i have everything in my hand without dropping anything she shuffled off without even asking me if i wanted change so she has a nice tip which i would have gave her anyways i hope she ENJOYS it she obviously needs it more then me...... So now i get to reheat my food for my family after they have already waited long enough ........toppings were missing i called to let them know and they just passed around the phone until i hung up....... Ill stick with Bernies pizza from now on!! Iam so shocked at this i concidered them a favorite!
Was my favorite pizzeria until I tried out for a job. My mom had brain surgery, even though I had been in touch and I didnt want to hold them up during her recovery they told me I wasnt getting paid for a five hour shift trial. They liked me and they hired me and even held the job for me til the end of the week. They did not want to pay me. This is against the law, I called federal wage and hour. They called and let them know that training has to be paid federal minimum wage $7.25. This is not a big check but I am a tax paying citizen like the rest and its clear to me this family has their share of bad attitude. They settle with federal wage and hour and tell me a check is waiting for me. I go to pick it up months after waiting and it has the wrong name on it. No big deal. When can I pick up the new one? The owner tells me he has no idea, as if Im putting him through the ringer. What could have been painless for $38 has become a thorn in my side. It is a matter of principle. YEAH THEY MAKE GOOD PIZZA, BUT WOULD IT BE OK WITH YOU IF THESE BUSINESS OWNERS TREATED YOUR DAUGHTER THIS WAY?

Cafe Rosa never delivered my order that I placed on Chow Now on 5/3/17. Ive been waiting since then for my refund. Chow Now has reached out to the owner multiple times; 3 times alone today and he has not returned their call. It says they are open till 10pm, I called at 940pm today to speak with the owner myself and no one answered. This is ridiculous now. Please be aware ordering from this restaurant your order may never come and you wont get your money back!
Placed an order for delivery at 2:50pm and didn’t receive my food until 4:30pm. When I called around 4pm to ask what was going on with my order whoever answered the phone was quick to tell me that my order was on it’s way and hung up. I only live 5 minutes away from the restaurant. A half hour later the delivery person showed up and when I asked why it took so long to get my food they didn’t have an answer for me. I have no idea why it took over an hour and a half to get my food when I only live 5 minutes away. Will not be ordering again.
Pizza was decent but the garlic knots were cold, there were flies & fruit flies everywhere & the bathrooms were out of order. Over all, not a great dining experience.
This place used to be one of my personal favorite restaurants to go back in the day, but now the owner is disrespectful and doesnt have respect to anyone. If your business isnt going up then mind as well quit.
The place offers a nice range of delicious food. I enjoyed dining here. The employees are always very kind, pricing is convenient and the spot is always well organised.
Horrible establishment. Were 3 people and 20% gratuity was added In addition an extra $1-$2 was charged- when I pointed out that we had been overcharged on every meal, the owner pointed to the small print on the menu which read prices subject to change without notice.
VERY friendly staff and they remember everyone. Food is GREAT and they deliver fast. The restaurant itself is spotless. Love them!! They make really good Chicken Marsala as well. ; )
My slice was soggy on the bottom and cold, the garlic knots are more like bread rolls, theyre good but theyre not garlic knots if thats what youre expecting, my date wasnt impressed with his chicken bacon ranch slice, and this was all on the weekend so the turnover should have been good but I guess not
Customer service is amazing. Even if the food wasn’t great, which it is, i would probably continue to go back just based on how they treat their customers. Great food, great prices.
I can only speak for the Napolitano & the Sicilian slices here, but what is more important than that? If you are in the neighborhood and you want a great slice of pizza, this is the place. There isnt any better. Michelangelo serves simply the best slices around.

Used to be a very nice place to eat. Last time I went it was a bad experience. Sticky utensils, dingy looking all around. Food was terrible made me sick. Never going back there again!
Great selection of pizza, calzones and wraps, freshly made all day long. There is also a small dining room in the back if youd prefer having a nice dinner.
I ordered yesterday my mozzarella sticks didn’t have no cheese in it the person told my mom that he will deliver new batch for us an he never showed up with it . I’m never ordering from this place again what waste of my money
OK pizza but not great.I always find it disappointing when a pizzeria doesnt deliver. They also have a $15 credit minimum, which is in violation of consumer credit protection law.
While eating a cheese pie from this place I bit into a shard of metal. When I contacted them they said” next time you order we’ll give you a discount” I will not be ordering from them again.
Pretty ok place. Dined at the restaurant part and it was a tad small. Had veal frances and it was ok. Dont get the potato croquettes.
I was passing by, and my friend was dying for pizza so I saw this place. I walked in, wasnt even greeted by anyone. the workers were too busy talking behind the counter, and then they charged me 60 cents for blue cheese, after their slice of buffalo wasnt even good.. such a rip off, and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone.

2022-01-09Terrible service. They ran out of proper to go containers and sent soup in a container not for liquid which was everywhere at arrival. Man on the phone was cursing at me. Very unprofessional. Got to the point where i didnt even want a replacement out of fear theyd spit in my food they were so rude. Hung up the phone on me. Pic below of my “soup”. The broth is all over me and my carpet. Never going back there

2021-12-21Came here with my family for Pasta night. There was 8 of us. They have a cute little dining room in the back of the pizzeria. The girls who helped us were very nice and sweet. The salad had a great presentation & was very fresh. The food was good with good portions. My family had a great dining experience. We recommend it and we will be back.

2021-09-19Easily the worst pizza Ive ever had. Burnt underneath and unmelted cheese on top on a plain pizza. A stuffed pizza also had the bottom burnt, and the dough inside raw. I dont know how you could pull that off. A sausage and pepper hero that had 85 percent peppers to 15 percent sausage (a half a sausage on a hero?) I placed this order through slice. When the restaurant was given the opportunity to rectify the situation, they stated that they made everything perfectly and that they do not work for free. This shows no ownership of your criticisms and you will not last long in business, let alone the service industry. I will go to Gerardos or Mama Lisa instead, like I should have. They have excellent pizza, but I wanted to try something new. Never again.

2021-03-31Just stopped in to Michelangelo pizza and restaurant today for a quick bite. We were greeted by Kylie being the counter who was very nice and helpful when trying to decide what to order. Doug, the owner was back there as well spooning the dough for his next masterpiece of a pie.There was so much to see in the front counter from huge calzones, zeppelin, and various pizzas. Today we ordered a plain slice with built in garlic knots with pepperoni, a grandma slice and a white slice.The pizza came out hot and crispy! The flavor was delicious with a nice balance between sauce and cheese, seasonings. They were generous when I asked for garlic powder too! The dough was crisp with a nice crust and the taste, just perfect.I look forward to our next visit and ordering some main dishes. The calzone, rolls, zeppelin in the crib are very tempting!

2021-09-15I have to say I’m disappointed tonight. I love the Sicilian pie from them. And always get the garlic knots. Tonight. The sicillian was barely cooked. Cheese not even melted. Just sad. I’m some parts cold.

2022-03-31Went for a pie today,cause THURSDAY is the day they have pies for$10.95 BIG ad in the front window well when i paid for my pie it was $14.95 What NOOOOO the sign in the window says $ 10.95 and the girl said oh yeah we havent had a chance to change it . Thats sooo wrong they should of honored the price that was shown in there FRONT window. Ill never go there again !!!!!!!!!! You can keep your LIMP ,HALF CHEESED THICK CRUST PIZZA !!!!!!!Hello again MARYS IN EASTPORT NOW THATS A PIE I WONT MIND PAYING FOR!!!!!!!!!!

2021-12-28I worked at this place and the owner is a piece of work. He owes me a weeks pay of $517 that he refuses to pay because I quit. I was a good worker but the working conditions are terrible. There is no heat nor hot water. So dishes were being washed in ice cold water!!!! With frozen hands. So basically they really werent getting clean. There are bugs in that place and needless to say employees dont wear gloves 99.9% of the time. The food is inconsistent in quality and sometimes they use the previous days pizza. They wont be in business too much longer. Its on its way under bc God doesnt like ugly

2021-12-103.4 rating?? Im surprised. I order a 4 topping large pizza. I got maybe 10 pieces of each topping on the whole pizza. Got like 6 pieces of pineapple on the pizza. It was a topping i paid for n they r that cheap? Paid $27 for this one pizza n it was trash. I will never return and highly DO NOT recommend this place. Go to Carlos on William Floyd parkway.

2020-02-24Food has been going downhill for a while now but I won’t be coming back again. Was just given a completely raw pinwheel. Only cooked part of the dough was the crust.

2022-01-21I used to work here back in 2018, We were at 3.9 stars at that time and kept getting 4 stars and above , but one day we all left due to delayed weekly payment and especially giving us attitudes over something small, After we all left, he refuses to pay me my $800 because I quit. Till this day I want my money and that’s all.
