Michelangelos in other cities:
Went here for fathers day, and had quite the disappointing dinner experience. The meal I ordered was pretty awful, my steak was extremely rough and over cooked and there was only one waitress doing the best she could so I felt bad. But I wont be going back anytime soon that was a really big waste of money and the opposite of what I expected.
Great food, excellent service and good value. The place is packed in the weekends and they took reservation for large party. We ordered mussels with marinara and they were very good. We split an order of chicken parmigiana and the portion size was definitely good enough for two. The garlic knots served instead of regular rolls were tasty and freshly baked. Overall, its a wonderful casual family restaurant to enjoy a wonderful meal.
We went to michael angelos on a saturday night around 7:45-8 and business was booming. We had to wait a few minutes to be seated. When we were finally seated we had waited and waited and waited some more, almost to the point we thought they forgot we were there. When our waiter came to our table he greeted us with nothing but smiles and laughter making the wait time easily forgotten. He explained that it was only him and another waitress working tables that night which made it very easy to sympathize with them. He gave us some great recommendations some of which we ordered. We ordered a Medium sized pizza pie, an order of calamari & an order of chicken parmesan. The pizza & garlic knots were delicious! The calamari was great & the dipping sauce was awesome! but the chicken parm kind of sold its self short :( The chicken wasn’t very crispy and the sauce on it almost tasted like the pizza sauce :( I was expecting much more from the chicken parm. but what i can say is the food was all very very fresh! We enjoyed our food & our belly’s were very full afterwards. Our waiter came by to check on things periodically through the meal & brought drinks over with out asking. The one thing that was quite a turn off was one of the bus boys... he was slamming things and throwing things everywhere. He slammed our garlic knots on the table which i didn’t feel was nice. Also while cleaning up one of the other tables he was flinging things everywhere. Food, forks, small handouts that were supposed to be on the table. That made us feel super uncomfortable. He must’ve been having a bad night. Other than that small hiccup things were great. I recommend this italian spot to anyone looking to fill their belly’s for a reasonable price. We will DEFINITELY be visiting again.
Got to the restaurant a little after 5pm and had to wait for about 20mins, not too bad. Were seated and given fresh garlic knots (very good). Ordered bruschetta and a large pizza (half sausage half bacon). The bruschetta taste wise was good but strong but bread was little dry and crumbly, making it hard to take bites without it falling apart. Pizza was a great size and came out hot. A little too much sauce for me personally but that’s not their problem. Pizza also was a bit too greasy as you can watch it drain before your eyes. Taste wise the pizza was very good though. Restaurant was clean and the servers were rockstars. They were jamming it out the whole time we were there and very kind. Staff had a little trouble with splitting payments for some reason and we got sent to the take out counter where they didn’t know how to and were confused at the question. Eventually someone came and helped at the pizza counter. Seems like it is just a training thing that could easily be remedied. Overall very good and would like to go back and try some of their other meals and desserts.
First and last time we will go here. All the food was off and it was everything tasted vile. We’ve had Italian food for years and this was just vile. We sat there for an hour and each time the food tasted so horrible we just sat there. I get this is a popular location but the lack of goodwill we got from the staff and manager will make sure we never go back.
This restaurant is by far the best local Italian restaurant in the Binghamton area. The seafood stuffed shells are TO DIE FOR.I’m a very picky person when it comes to desserts, and the tiramisu they serve is very similar to the Italian original, I loved it. I could easily have two slices of tiramisu in one seating. Pizza was very good, I definitely recommend this place 💯. I really wish they served risotto, this would make Michelangelo’s the food heaven in Binghamton. Our server, Kaitlyn, was very kind, I loved to have her as our server.
Decent pizza for a decent price.Family of 4 dined on a Saturday evening (5:30-6pm). The restaurant was full and we were told it would be a 20 minute wait. It didnt seem to be a full 20 minute wait to be seated, so that was nice.We ordered a large pizza with meat and onions. We were served garlic butter rolls while we waited. I do not suggest eating these on a first date. They are super garlic covered, almost too much, and it burns the mouth a little. But they were good. The pizza was pretty good. A little thin in the crust for us, but I guess thats the style of pizza. It still tasted really good. And the large is HUGE, we only ate half of it.The waitress was kind but could of come around for drink refills. 3 of 4 drinks were empty and we waited a long time to ask for a to go box and our check.Over all, if we are in the area in the future, we would eat here again.
Hands down! The best Italian place in Binghamton! The garlic knots is really yummy with the fresh flavor of garlic and butter. They definitely serve the best pizza in town for a decent price.Ive tried the pasta here too, rich and creamy! Lip smacking! They serve a variety of desserts too!
It was quite busy on a Thursday night, but the staff worked quickly to get our party of six seated. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was very good. It did get chilly in the dining room with all the patrons running in and out through the two doors, so dress warmly!
We had a party of 10 and they took the time to make sure we were in the corner, away from others so we didnt disturb anyone. The server we had was very polite and kind towards us and the 6 kids we had with us. I loved the atmosphere there and the food was good and priced right. I would recommend this place and the food is great! Please stop by and try the garlic knots!!
Absolutely amazing. Very comfortable atmosphere. The service was exceptional and the food was even better. Wish I wouldve found this place sooner because it was so damn good. The calamari was some of the best Ive ever had, light and crispy and most importantly fresh. The garlic knots that accompany the dinner salads are unreal too. Crispy and garlicky on the outside, yet soft on the inside. I had veal parm and my fiance had eggplant parm. I wanted to have an Italian dish since that seemed to be their specialty. And wow they did not disappoint. The piece of veal was so big that even if it was half the size, I still wouldnt have finished it. And it was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend and we will for sure be back more frequently.
Horrifying lol sausage was boiled and the casing was hard, salads was brown pasta one was over cooked one was under cooked the garlic knots hard as a rock. Meatballs no flavor sauce was like canned sauce 80 plus dollars later .. no way cortese or little Venice stay away from this place .....
I stopped here while passing through the area on my way to Cooperstown because it was #1 on TripAdvisor. I ordered the 12” pizza with meatballs and sweet peppers. The toppings were generous and I loved the crispy crust, but the sauce had no taste, the pizza was entirely too runny, and the cheese was rather scant. I expected more because this was rated #1, but I can honestly rate the pizza as being nothing special; it was just ok and not what I would call #1. If it is #1 for the area, then I feel sorry for the pizza connoisseurs because there is far better pizza in other cities and towns. And the restaurant is located in what appears to be a sketchy part of town, an area I would not want to go at night when passing through. On the positive side, service was great, very attentive and friendly. I didn’t have to ask for napkins or refills or anything. Prices are very reasonable, as well.
Our server was extremely pleasant and kind, and the food arrived within a decent timeframe. I was very excited when I read “homemade gnocchi” on the menu, but was thoroughly disappointed when I received gnocchi that was clearly store bought and frozen, not homemade. The food was mediocre, and the prices were high in relation to the quality.
I’ve been going to Michelangelo’s for years. The food was never questionable. Everything on the menu, delicious. It is very disappointing to say that the lasagna we ordered this evening was awful. The portion was half of what we usually receive, the sauce was sour and it had a awkward burnt taste. When we called, the manger wasn’t apologetic, her response was “no one else has complained about our sauce” clearly, no customer service skills. When my husband returned the food she wasn’t friendly, in fact she was annoyed. She put the new order on the counter, took the old order and walked away. This type of behavior is unacceptable, especially from a “manager“ I will definitely reconsider this restaurant.
Host said there was a 25 minute wait, we were seated in a comfy booth within 15 minutes. We ordered chicken parmigiana and spaghetti with meatballs. Both super delicious!!! Salad was just average. Iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers. Garlic knots, delivered the moment we were seated.... were the bomb! I have not enjoyed a meal out as much as this meal in so long. Can not to go back!!!
This place has Wings and Pizza that will blow your teeth back!!!I have had the combination across the US and out side of Chicago pizza from Chicago this pizza is hands down the best. Im happy to have traveled 2560 miles and get to have this. Keep up the great work and dont change a thing.Thank you!!
It was over all okay except one of there waitresses were acting very funny when we return for a table which was an hour wait to begin with. the food was very delicious and tasty. They did ended up putting her dish washing duties. They noticed her behavior towards us when we arrived.
Had a little get together on the 16th of December ( brother had just passed away and it was his birthday ) I have been to many places and 100.a meal restaurants. Never have I gotten any better service or better food 17 people to serve and they pulled it off friendly and professional and a shock when the chk came wow I really expected it to be more but that was great got to leave bigger tip .gess thats why my brother jed woodruff loved the place. A big thank you
I was visiting from Nebraska and we stopped in to eat as I had heard that the food here was excellent. My son ordered the lasagna which was fantastic. My friend ordered a garden salad with chicken and I had the chicken alfredo with broccoli. The noodles and sauce were excellent but the chicken was burnt on both my dinner and my friends salad. My friend and her family had been coming here for years and the food was always excellent and it had been a little while since my friend had been there so we expected good food and actually good service would have been cool too. My son is blind and everybody and theyre acted like he had the plague or something. We didnt see our waitress very often maybe three times. I just wanted to let you know I was very very disappointed in what was served and so is my friend who lives here in Binghamton and it has been said that they will not be coming back to your restaurant.
Oh YUM! Been looking for a good Italian place. They have specials and all sorts of different food on their menu. I ordered the Spinach Manicotti which was delicious! Had enough to save some for later. Warning their menu states they have a 75 cent charge for containers but we didnt get that charge. The Garlic Knots are wonderful! I would definitely suggest this place if youre looking for some good food. My boyfriend ordered the steak Marsala and it was also REALLY good, ordered at medium and thats exactly what you get. Had a great time. Also if youre wondering, if they are packed. Theyll let you know how long for a table and you can comfortably sit in your car and wait for a phone call.
Service this day was on the slow side. I give that a pass these days. What was disappointing was the food. We dined at another Italian restaurant a week ago in Johnson City and Michaelangelo’s wasn’t even close to their quality. I expected much better, but maybe due to the extraordinary meal we had at another venue so recently.
First time there. From out of town. Got food to go. Gorgonzola salad should be named crouton salad as there were about a pound of croutons and a few crumbs of cheese. Definitely not worth the price. Eggplant Parmesan was ok. A lot of it but on the mushy side. I got there a few minutes before they said and live only 5 minutes away but eggplant was barley warm when I got home. Also pretty surprised the eggplant didn’t come with pasta. Never seen that before.
I normally enjoy dining here. However, the service was somewhat slow tonight. I had to wait 30 minutes for a seat, then an hour for my food. On top of that, the piece of pie was somewhat small given the price of it. The saving grace was that they werent out of the entree I ordered and the server was polite and courteous. Other than those two factors, it was overall not a satisfactory experience.
I love eating here. Ive tried the chicken Parmigian, pizza, and the calzones and I just love everything! The sauce is nice and savory, a little acidic just the way I like it and a great consistency. If youre looking for a nice date-type restaurant, Id recommend this place!
We have been frequent visitors at your restaurant. The last 2 times were a bad experience. The staff was rude, the food took along time, the food quality was below average. The floors were dirty and little bugs were flying all around our booth. We wont be visiting again unfortunately.Since writing this the owner has reached outUand has more then compensated and fix the issue, we will give them.another tryToday we stopped and got take out. Which we were issued a gift card by the owner. It was amazing. I guess everyone has off days. We will deff be returning.
Great food great service. The menu is extensive and it took awhile to figure out what we wanted. while we were looking through the menu, garlic rolls were served to our table hot and freah. We finally decided to order lasagne which came with salad. Really fantastic sauce on the lasagne, rich with meat and just a touch of sweetness. We ended with a Canoli that came drizzled with chocolate on top. Very nice meal for a fantastic price. I would recommend this restorante to anyone.
I have never had issues with anything from here until recently, yesterday I ordered an antipasto salad, got lots of greens, but only 6 small round slices of pepperoni and 2 slices of salami and that was the only meat on it, very sparse cheese. I dont know what has changed in the last 2 months but this is the 3rd time the food was horrible, especially for the price you pay. I really hope whatever the issues are they get resolved. Ive always loved the food from here until now
Went to Michaelangelos, and was dismayed it took us so long to get our food. Two tables near us received their food before us even though they came later than us. We had a party of three the over table had 10, and the other 2. I have been to Michaelangelos many times, and never had to wait like we did this last time. It was approximately 35 minutes till we were served after ordering. I was going to complain to the ice owner, Michael but he was super busy and I didnt want to make things worse. My brother in law was visiting this restaurant for the first time, and he said he wouldnt go back. I told him Dont be like that. Give them another chance.
3 stars because they have GREAT food. The service.... not so much. We order takeout here often. They say 35 minutes. I come 45 minutes later and wait 20 more. And dont bother ordering calamari in advance. I have asked them to drop it in when i call and they still wait until we get there to cook it. If i wanted to wait 20 minutes i would have sat down. I have addressed this with their staff before and nothing changes.
A lot of great Italian places in the area, and this place is a top contender for sure. Good food, good price, and a good atmosphere. I have never had a bad meal here. I am a big fan of their sauce in particular. I also enjoy their pesto sauce, which I usually dont care for at most places.
My boyfriend and I had dinner here tonight and it was absolutely fantastic! Our waiter Austin gave us the best dining experience from start to finish. Our appetizer came out within minutes of ordering and tasted perfect, followed by soup and our main course. The food was excellent, and Austin ensured we had everything we needed throughout the evening. We had such a great dinner with you tonight, we cant wait to come back! All of the staff greeted us when we left and thanked us for coming. Thank you so much!
It has been over 10 years since I last went and had a meal here and dined in usually I would have it delivered if I were at work or get take out. Got there and it was after 9pm and the it seemed like that was a good time because we were seated right away which worked well for me. The garlic knots were fresh and still warm which made them taste even better I am sure and could have gotten another basket but didnt lol. The waitress was attentive from the very beginning and when it was time to order I wasnt sure about which dish of the two I had in mine I wanted so she even gave me her favorite one which she assured me would be good and she was right! No complaints and I wish I could recall her name and with her service and good food I will surely be going back in the future to dine in and have a good meal......
One of the better Italian restaurants in the area. The only down side is they only make reservations for parties of 8 or more. Otherwise you have to wait. As far as the food goes, we have never had a bad dish served to us. The wait staff has always been attentive and friendly.
Outstanding Italian cuisine at very reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and professional and the quality of the food is consistent. A sign of a good restaurant is the amount of people eating there. We usually have to wait, depending on the time. The wait is worth it. Highly recommended. Ive been eating there since 2004 when I was stationed at SP Binghsmron until I retired and I still go there.
As a poor college student, the prices were very affordable and well portioned. The waiter we had was kind and very on top of his job, never had to ask him for anything outside of ordering and he waa very attentive to our tables needs. The food was fresh, hit and delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant based on the quality of food, good customer service and overall wonderful experience.
The service was quick & the price was reasonable. The slices were huge, I couldn’t finish mine. The medium wing sauce was... different. It was more of a medium garlic wing sauce, but it was good. The only thing I didn’t care for, were the chunks of tomato in the sauce. I prefer smooth pizza sauce, but the flavor was good.
BEST PIZZA IN UPSTATE NY. My wife and I come here often. It’s got great service and great variety of food. They are often busy any day of the week, and it’s because their food, especially their pizza, is in such demand. Expect 45 min. when you order out pizza. Every minute is worth it. And they deliver too if you are near!
Service was prompt and courteous. Our table sampled a reasonable proportion of the menu and everyone was pleased with their meals. Prices are very reasonable. Free, extra garlicky dinner rolls. One tasty local beer on tap. All and all, I was quite happy. Do note that on Fri/Sat there will likely be a wait.
This place serves and delivers great pizza, knots, and more. It has a cozy bar and a large, tightly furnished dining area. I have never had a bad entree here. Service is always prompt and good. Wait times vary. I took off one star because every time I have gone here, there has been a kid or baby screaming profanities and throwing food across the place, and they have one bathroom per sex that is always occupied.
What a great place!! Food is good and service was great!! Mary was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was traveling with my baby and they brought dough for her to play with. Such a great relief knowing they were not judging my wild child. I recommend this place on all levels.
Ive lived in the area my whole life and Ive never heard of this place before. My husband and I stopped in for dinner after not being able to decide where to eat just to see what its about here and were VERY impressed! From the food to the service, we were blown away. Hes a Long Islander, and has lived here for a few years now. He got the Chicken Française and said it was one of the best dishes hes had since hes been here. We eat out multiple times a week due to our schedules so this is saying alot. And our servers name on the bill was Meg B. and we both thought she was one of the best waitresses weve ever had. The table behind us also complimented her on her service as well. We never had to ask for a single thing. She was on top of everything.Overall I would highly recommend trying this place if youve never been. Its one of our new favorites after just one trip.A++++++
Ordered takeout last Fri of chicken parmigiana and a full size meatball and onion calzone. Got home, and as usual the chicken parmigiana was perfect and fresh. Cut open the calzone, and noticed the very small amount of meatballs inside. Not only that, but the meatballs weren’t homemade whatsoever. They were the Sam’s club frozen ones that they sliced up. How dissatisfied I was. Basically, all I got was dough full of regatta cheese, an overload of onions, and about 6 slices of Sam’s club frozen meatballs in the very center....how Italian! If you guys want instructions on how to make real Italian meatballs, I’ll be glad to demonstrate.
Excellent food. Sometimes it takes a while, but its worth it. Meatball sub is my favorite in the area. Prices are reasonable and the place is always clean. Would be five stars, but the pizza has been a bit cardboardish the last couple of times Ive had it. Ive always considered the pizza among the best in the area. One bad slice is an anomaly, two slices on separate visits is the beginning of a pattern. Will update this review when the pizza returns to the product that I remember.
Pleasant staff and atmosphere. My white clam pasta seemed nothing more than an entire box of spaghetti and canned clams in a cream sauce.. very bland. My father had ravioli under red sauce which he compared to a chef-boy meal. Pretty disappointed and wont return for a second chance.
Best Italian on the East side. Pizza is great, house made pasta and sauce and meatballs they tell me. Delicious. Can be waits but they move it well. Small bar for sitting. I think all food is available to go also. Prices are worth it. Oh and the garlic knots. So good. Garlic knots.
What is up with this place? Cant ever get a parking spot or table. So I order pick up and the pricing on their menu is not correct apparently???? Im done....not going back! Service sucks. Ok ...second part of my review. I ordered a medium pizza and 10 chicken wings which total came to over 23 dollars. I was told it would be ready in 35 minutes. I pick up 35 minutes later and drive 2 minutes home. The pizza and wings where cold and taste horrible. Never giving this place my business again. I called and told them my food was cold. The assured me the owner would call me back. He never did! I will ruin this place.
My first time here, was in the area to visit Animal Adventure Park. Stayed overnight and needed a place to eat, found this place online. The atmosphere is cosy, the prices are fair, much to choose from on menu. Portion size awesome, Staff super friendly. Our waiter was Dan! He was very efficient, knowledgeable and a super nice guy! Koodos to you all! Thanks for the Great experience.
Local restaurant with nice menu choices. I dont agree with their seating policy and see it as a poor policy. Stops from coming on any day that maybe busy. A small bar, servers are always friendly and meals are timely. Take out available. Booth seating is very limited. Easy parking, easy to find.
The garlic knots are top notch, the eggplant parmesan left a lot to be desired. The waitress messed up our orders so half our partys food came out 15 minutes before the rest of the order. The waitress gave us a really sizable discount for the whole mess and was super apologetic. I dont think I would go back for a sit down meal, but I might get takeout pizza.
Who can argue with success -I think the line out the door speaks volumes as to the quality of the food. The prices are very moderate, service is always friendly and prompt and I have never had a meal I did not enjoy -and the portions are generous. As a local business owner myself, I am happy to support other locally owned family businesses. You cant go wrong with Michaelangelos
I was visiting Binghampton University with my son and two daughters and we wanted a casual Italian dinner that was affordable, delicious and had gluten free options. We had a great meal with wonderful waitstaff and we came in near closing time and the waitstaff were happy and friendly and seemed like they really like their work. Great food, prices and lots of gluten free pizza, pasta and dessert options. Loved this place!
We order the same pizza every time! White garlic, bacon, onion, black olives, spinach and feta. It is awesome when you make it right! But the last few times the attention to detail sucks. Dont offer me a $2 credit when I drive 18 miles round trip to pick up something you made incorrectly. You HAVE the order HISTORY. It is disturbing to think you can get it wrong so often. Three times now. Ok, no feta in the store got it - I will add my own ( but seriously how does an Italian restaurant run out of feta?) The kind woman who took the order repeated bacon three times when ordering and was looking at our order history!
Gluten free food is contaminated. There food (from the regular menu) is very good. Unfortunately this is the second time my son has gotten sick from eating their gluten free raviolis that we were assured were cooked in separate pans with different cooking utensils, away from where the pizza is made. I am aware this is pizza place, so I take most of the blame on even attempting to let him eat there however their gluten free is definitely NOT.
Food was absolutely delicious. Portions are out if this world. I absolutely loved it. The worst part was seeing someones food and wishing I would have ordered what they had. Hahaha.Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!I had the chicken Alfredo. I was so full and still had leftovers. I was so miserable when we left. I just couldnt stop eating. Lol loved it!
Michelangelos is an upscale pizzeria and affordable Italian place (prices range between $9 - $18). Dress is casual during lunch and a bit more formal around dinnertime. The food is a good value and this is my spot if Im looking to get some Italian food without breaking the bank. They have one of the best NYC style slices in town! Also try their cheese ravioli with the pesto cream sauce!!
The ONLY reason I gave them just 2 stars is because of their delivery service, The food is VERY good, I love their food, I ordered, for delivery, just a salad and garlic knots, The girl told me 45 minutes to and hour, I live 10 minutes away from them. After waiting TWO HOURS I called, I do understand, things happened, that did not upset me, HOWEVER when I called to tell them I have been waiting for 2 hours, well of course I didnt want it any longer, it was no longer lunch time, All that was said was ok, I am sorry, I will cancel the order. I felt like they did nothing to make it right. Anything, take down my name, and maybe get a order of garlic knots, OR say maybe we can try tomorrow SOMETHING instead of I am sorry, I will cancel the order. That made me so upset.
I have previously written a bad review - based on an in-house experience with a waitress that was the worst of the worst and the fact that when I order chicken cacciatore - I expect the traditional huge chunk of chicken to be served (not greasy pasta w/ a tad bit of chicken and one piece of green pepper) We have had the food several times since then, simply because my family loves the place and I feel compelled to say I have not had a problem since. Even the delivery is on time, with the kids french fries NOT soggy, to my surprise!!
Third time in a row bad experience, first two times overdone pizzas, this order chicken milanese was so overcooked it was pathetic. Stringy, color of a leather on a football. Very disappointed with new ownership and more supervision needed with the cooks. Last 3 orders were take out, if I had eaten there the meals would have been sent back !!!!!!!!
Food is good, but the following situation has happened THREE TIMES. I call for delivery, theres a wait to speak with someone (which is fine). Someone FINALLY picks up and then immediately hangs up and then takes the phone off the hook so when you call back, theres a busy signal. At first I thought this was a fluke, but after it just happened to me for the third time, Iim pretty sure they have some young people working there who dont really want to work. I get it...its Friday night and your busy and stressed... But seriously? Pretty sure the owner wouldnt appreciate it.Edit: went to little Venice instead and it was great! Found out new place! Thanks Michelangelos!
Woman at the counter with the tattoos and nose ring in my opinion is not friendly and accommodating. Seems to have an attitude and curt. This is not the first time either. I will not be back again. Owner was present too. Gnocchi was soggy and I ate them literally minutes as of my takeout. Pizza is dry. Calzone had little ham that I paid for as an additional topping. Just lame. I was recommended to go here and I am from out of town and drive a bit to come here. I do not know what people rave about this place. This is my third time here and for three times it has not been a good experience. Has a good business and had several people in and out so they will thrive without my business so no loss for them. See ya Michelengleos ! Oh yeah. Nice touch to have the workers hang out back and have their cigs.... Good first impressions as customers park in the back as their primary parking and walk in to the restaurant. Beautiful first impressions
Camping at Chenago Valley State Park and wanted pizza on the last night. Local family camping next to us asked us what type of pizza we were looking for. They recommend Michaelangelos. We ordered a medium with spinach, olives, mushrooms and sweet peppers. We also got fresh garlic rolls brought to the table! Staff was friendly. Pizza awesome! Sauce Sauce was a delicate which was aaa nucehnice surprise. Fiddle Head IPA beer on tap! We saw a plate of calamari at a table nearby that made us want to go back and get that!
THE BEST pizza in the tri-city area. Others will try to tell you Cortese is the best. Nope. They have just never had pizza from Michelangelos. This place isnt all about pizza though. There are many Italian dishes to choose from, and every single one I have had so far has been nothing short of fantastic. Service is always top notch.
Made the mistake of getting the Fried Ravioli lunch special. Got 6 small ravioli on a huge plate. That came to over $1 per ravioli. Absolutely ridiculous. Told the Waiter I was expecting a lot more than that for the price. Waiter could not care less. Was not interested in dealing with our lack of satisfaction, and just wanted to get away from our table.
Never have i ever had such a horrible experience at a restaurant where the owner was a nuisance. I went there for dinner with my family and the owner stood at the bar drinking a bottle of wine talking so loud half the place could hear him. Not even taking consideration of people there to enjoy a meal around him. Mind you the food wasnt that great either
First time at Michelangelos and they have a page full of gluten-free options. OMG and its sooo good! I had the chicken parm with a side of pasta and it was amazing. We would be going back regularly except they dont take reservations and there is always a wait. The closer you get to dinner time, the loner the wait, upwards of hours =/
This is my favorite Italian Resturant to visit when Im in town visiting family. My favorite dish is the chicken marsala, but they have many wonderful entrees to choose from. Some of my other favorites are eggplant parm and linguine with red clam sauce. I love their hot rolls with a side of their sauce to dip them in. I could just drink the sauce out of the cup! The calamari is a great appitizer to start with, (also delicious dipped in their sauce).

2022-04-24Found this place on google and I always check a place out if they have good reviews. The pizza was huge and fresh. Cooked perfect. Wings were pretty good and the garlic knots. Delicious. Really enjoyed the food here and delivery was about an hour on a Saturday night. Not bad. Definitely would eat here again.

2022-06-12Good Italian food and fast service. Nice waitress . We had Ann. Decor reminds me of Old Fashion Italian Restaurants in my past. Remind them to turn on the music especially Italian music.

2021-08-06I figured the pizza here was overhyped but I happily I was wrong. The crust is a great blend of softness and crispness and the toppings were plentiful. Plus the large is a ton of food for the money. Highly recommend it.

2022-02-25This restaurant NEVER disappoints. The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff is friendly, the food is phenomenal, the mixed drinks are perfect, the prices are so reasonable for the portions served. Sophia, our server, was outstanding! Couldnt ask for anything more from Michaelangelos.

2022-02-10First time at Michelangelos, I walked in the door and 4 employees stood there staring at me not saying anything so I said Im ordering to go, they showed me where to go to order. When I went to the counter the girl said whats the name, I told her I needed to place an order and she rolled her eyes and said what would you like. As I looked at the menu, that I had to find myself, she stood there sighing, talking to other employees. I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni, 2 slices of pizza adding peppers and onion, 2 orders of mozzarella sticks, and a antipasto salad. The pepperoni pizza was decent but the veggie pizza was clearly just cheese pizza with raw hard peppers and onions thrown ontop. They didnt cook it or even warm the slices up. They forgot the salad so we had to go back to get it. They also didnt bother to bag anything up, give us utensils or napkins. We had to get that stuff ourselves. I will not be returning to this restaurant and will definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Some of the worst service Ive ever experienced

2022-03-16We were traveling through and Googled this place. They were very kind and gave us a second box (we were in 2 vehicles) so we could split it between us.Also, the girl working the counter left the extra sauce to get for last so it was nice & hot. That kind of thoughtfulness & hospitality is to be admired! If were ever traveling through Binghamton again, we look forward to stopping in again.

2022-05-29I was wrong! We have been eating at Michelangelos for years and I have always ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, which I love so much that I thought nothing could be as good as that. Tonight I broke decades of tradition and ordered the Chicken Marsala. What have I been missing!? The chicken was incredibly tender. Their famous garlic knots are even better dipped in the sauce, which perfectly balanced the lemon and wine. And, of course, the portions there are huge, so unless I wake up hungry in the middle of the night, I know what I will have for lunch tomorrow.

2022-05-20Chicken Parmigiano was huge. Garlic knots were addictive. House wines were pretty good. Pizza looked great but ran out of tummy room. Will go back for one soon.
