Good value, good rates, very clean room and facilities. Hot breakfast is ok, too bad they face suply issues like everywhere else and have to limit breakfast selection. Staff is courteous and helpful. Highly recommended for a night sleep on a road trip
Positive: Staff were friendly and the hotel was spotless. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious , the bathroom well appointed. This was everything you want in a hotel except,.. Negative: Half of the hotel rooms back onto the I81 and the noise of the traffic is loud and constant especially the engine braking from the transport trucks and motorcycles. The highway is less than 200¿ from the hotel. The square sleeping pillows are hard.
Drunk college kids running up and down halls screaming and pounding on walls. Fighting in the hallway outside our room. Hotel staff has one poor elderly man working who couldnt do anything about it. Had a funeral to attend early the next morning and couldnt get to sleep until nearly 4 am when I finally went into the hallway and yelled some things I shouldnt repeat here. Never again. Beds were very uncomfortable as well.
Positive: I loved that it was so close to my sons university as well as the room was beautiful and very comfortable Negative: The only thing I found very strange was that the pillows were squares that looked like throw pillows although there were a bunch of them not very comfortable to sleep and I like a rectangle myself

Great place, checked in late night and was received amazingly well. Very friendly and helpful with the check-in process. Everything was very clean and neatly arranged, bathroom with lots of towels, adequately stocked. No foul smells inside the room or outside in the hallway. Coffee machine, refrigerator, alarm clock and all outlets were in good working conditions. Exterior and hallways clean. I recommend this location as its just off near the highway with food places around the area.
Warm staff. Room clean beds very comfy. Breakfast consists of hot and cold cereals,waffles,pastries,bagels,yogurt juice and coffee etc. The only thing I missed were HB eggs. However,they sell convenience foods that can be microwaved in the room. Service animals welcome.

Very basic hotel, small efficient rooms, but definitely nothing fancy. Breakfast limited and coffee was just eh. Right next to highway, so ask for room away from highway. It was clean with very friendly, upbeat staff. Price was good, but next time well spend $30 more and be closer to BU.

The staff was great. Hotel was clean and overall appearance of facility was great. Plus the staff was great. Live in the area and stayed here because our power at our house was out. Will come back again. Plus I also liked the fact that they sold soup had waters and sodas that were easy to purchase.
I have stayed at many a hotel and this one by far was the cleanest , safest, and most friendliest I have ever been to!!! Its a great location and those beds are amazing. I slept like a baby. The front desk staff were so very nice and informative and helpful in getting directions and about places to go to eat. The lobby is quaint cozy and I regret not sitting there by the heater and sip tea and watch infinity wars with the really friendly and helpful front desk clerk. He was so chill. They all were. Best Hotel stay in a long while!!!!!

We have been staying at this hotel for the last 3 years when visiting our daughter. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and there is always hot coffee and breakfast available in the mornings.Although we found closer accommodations to the school we will always come back here. It is our home away from home.
We stopped here for a night on our way to the Finger Lakes. Very convenient location. Excellent rooms. We had a 2 queen bed. It was not very big, but had amazing organization. Right cabinets and shelves. Also very well-renovated. The breakfast was a little inadequate, though.
The hotel was probably one of the nicest hotels Ive stayed in a very long time. Everything was neat clean and sanitized. The beds were very very comfortable and the rooms were spotless. John at the front desk was amazing and was a great help with everything During our stay. If I am in that area I will definitely be using that hotel again and I recommend it to everyone.

Spent a night here and would definitely stay again. The room was simplistic, yet clean and very functional - ours had a fridge and microwave. Plenty of storage space. The bed was super comfy. John at the front desk was so nice and helpful, along with the guy working at night whose name I didn’t get. Although they’re not serving hot breakfast right now due to Covid, there was an array of oatmeal, cereal, fruit, yogurt and most importantly coffee!
As the price point dictates, this is obviously not the Ritz Carlton but is still a nice, clean, budget friendly place to lay your head. Even the pet friendly room was super clean. I also felt comfortable that they were taking adequate precautions during Covid times. This was the first time I have traveled since corona started and only did so because we were traveling to get out vaccinations. It all worked out as well as it could have👍
Positive: Quiet for the most part. Location is close to the highway. Small rooms means less space for toddler to run around. The nightstands are level and close to bed so watch for that. Could not fit a pack and play or anything but we cosleep and bed was fine. Negative: Parking could be bigger and better.
Friendly desk staff. Clean room. The desk has a mirror and a USB charging outlet. The closet has a full length mirror iron and ironing board. The queen bed is firm. The window seating is comfortable. The A/C is quiet.

This review is based on a 4 week stay at this hotel. I have stayed at Microtels in other cities, but this one by far exceeded my expectations. The customer service is their number one priority. All staff is very nice and welcoming. Many pros here, free breakfast, safe, quiet, clean, comfortable beds, washer and dryer on the 2nd floor ($1.75 to wash or dry each load), close to the highway and Walmart. Honestly for the price point you get great quality. I will definitely book again, as I already have.
Convenient location compared to the hospital I was visiting. Everything was very clean, breakfast was given sanitary precautions for COVID, and I had plenty of towels! Air conditioning was POWERFUL! However, I found the beds uncomfortable. Bear in mind, though, that I have fibromyalgia and a bad back, so I am PICKY!

Very accommodating and comfortable Hotel. It clean and nice, very pleasant staff, and all of the basics available. The breakfast was full and has everything you could think of for a breakfast menu. The big hit for my kids was the cucumber water.The price was okay however for $100 for one night there should have been at least a pool to enjoy or sauna for some sort of aquatic amenity.
I stayed here for on and off for weeks at a time over the duration of a year and I cant say enough good things about it. Every afternoon when I arrived I was greeted with a smiling face. For a low frills hotel, it exceeded my expectations again and again. I never had a complaint about my stays. My room was always spotless (and I have hotel-phobia about dirty rooms), the breakfast could be a bit better, but it was still great. The complex is quiet, and the staff will do anything for you. I cant say enough good things about Cindy and the rest of the front desk staff and managers.

The hotel staff is friendly and the accommodations are modest but well kept. The breakfast options are slim but thats understandable due to COVID operations. My only major complaint would be our mattress. Its in rough shape which makes for a terrible sleeping experience.
Friendly staff who are more than happy to help you. Very nice rooms (upgrade to the suite, its totally worth it!!!). Rooms are about as clean as hotel rooms under 200 a night get. May find some dust, but nothing ridiculous!!
Absolutely love microtel. This particular one was super clean, the staff were such nice, and helpful individuals. I had forgotten my cellphone charger at my house. I noticed I didnt have one after my phone had died. I called the front desk and explained I needed a charger and asked if they had one I could use. Thinking it was a long shot, the guy said ohh come on down we have a bunch of different ones. I went down and he pushed a big box and explained they were all left behind from guests. But my whole stay was like that, they were very helpful and honestly good people.
I’m always skeptical about staying in hotels because you never know what you’ll encounter but this hotel is very clean & the staff are very nice and helpful! I highly recommend. I checked for bed begs & other things and found nothing!! would definitely stay here again

We came here as a midway point for a college drop off. Hotel front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly. During the time of covid I wipe down everything with lysol. As I was cleaning I was impressed (and relieved) that my cloth was clean! I would recommend and will be back.
Convenient location just off of Route 17 in Binghamton with easy parking in a safe, tucked away location. The noise from the highway can be heard from one side of the hotel, but it isnt too disturbing. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. The cleaning products used are subtle and not overwhelming to those with scent sensitivities. Plus, breakfast is included! I highly recommend staying at this hotel for the price point... great value!

Bed was comfy but could not sleep because of the flashing light in the room. Every room has a fire detector that flash every 10 seconds which make it hard to sleep. And it is Bright.
Very basic, TINY rooms (felt uncomfortably cramped), staff was VERY friendly, breakfast was suitable, —> BUT while room “seemed” clean, the bedding was worn out & didn’t look, feel or smell clean. Room had OVERWHELMING stink of dirty, smelly feet to the point it stung my nose. Will take a pass on Microtel Binghamton next time. Sorry.

Room was clean and decent size. The bed was extremely comfortable, and came with fluffy, semi- firm pillows. Not cheap, flimsy pillows. A+++ for that alone. The bathroom was small but clean. Lots of towels. Staff was very nice and accomadating. Already reccomended to family and friends.Will stay here again!

The beds here are comfy number one priority! The rooms are clean and simple. Perfect place to stop for a good nights rest on a road trip. They even give you a breakfast to go since the breakfast bar is not open due to covid-19.

I originally ranked this hotel with a 5. I was in town for business for 3 weeks. During the second week of my stay, I noticed that I did not have my cellphone charger and determined it was left in the room after checkout. Hotel says they did not find it in the room. Not much value but the hotel paid $400 for that charger because I cancelled my 3rd week stay.
From the time of check in until check out... the staff was Great!! Rooms were super clean, beds were soft and comfortable, and the breakfast was great and always stocked and clean. Coffee 24 hours and the cucumber water was great! I will definitely stay at this hotel every time I come to Binghamton!

One reason I chose this place was due to the positive reviews. They were spot on about the staff. Extremely friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean, bed very comfortable, and price was right. Great breakfast with plenty of seating. Easy on and off highway 17. All around great experience. Will definitely return and I highly recommend.
So much great stuff here!! Very clean, spacious and modern double queen room. Room has a closet plus a built in luggage shelf which was very helpful. Beds are very comfortable. Bathroom also has unique shelving making it a great place for all your toiletries off of the sink. Microwave, fridge and coffeemaker in room. Window seat is a nice extra touch with additional shelving below that would be great if traveling with multiple people. Desk with 2 chairs and outlets were enough for several charging options. Front desk and housekeeping staff were extra friendly and helpful. Free breakfast 6a-10a with a decent selection of cold and hot items was also a plus. Lobby has a comfy seating area in front of a fireplace as well as a conference type table and 2 computers and a shared printer. They even have a Micro Mart selling beverages, snacks, microwave meals and some essentials you might need and they dont even price gouge! (Walmart is across the way in case you need more than what the mart carries) Definitely will be looking for this hotel chain next time I travel!
This hotel was easy to find right off the highway. Check in was easy and staff at the desk were friendly. Rooms were clean and looked new. Took off one star because breakfast wasnt too good, but Id still stay again.

Called ahead to see if a room was available and the guy at the desk gave us great directions to get to the building. No problem checking in even though we were coming in about 01:00. The room was clean and all we needed for a quick sleep and turn around to head out the next morning. Continental breakfast was standard but to be expected for the price. Excellent recommendations for areas of local interest from the people at the front desk.

The place looks like it is new. Very clean room. The beds are comfortable. The decor is simple, but suited perfectly for tavellers, if you only plan to stay a couple of days. The staff was friendly and helpful as i approched them. Looks like the hotel is well managed. I left happy and rested.
My sister and I had to travel to NY because our father was in the hospital. We were fortunate to have stayed at this location. The hotel is exceptionally clean and I cannot say enough about the staff. It was an emotional time for us as we just found out our Dad has lung cancer and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and they treated us like family! They all took the time each morning and evening to ask us how our Dad was doing. This hotel has exceptional staff and more businesses should take lessons from them in true customer service. Highly recommend this hotel!
Very good value for money budget hotel, located very close to Walmart which was good. Breakfast was so-so but the limited items that were served at breakfast did taste fresh. They had free coffee, hot chocolate, water and juice all day long at lobby. Free Wi-Fi was not very fast, couldnt do much with it but just check emails or watch medium quality videos. Elder Gentlemen at the reception during check out was the most polite person out of 3 reception staff I had interacted with. Rooms were small but clean. One side of hotel is facing highway and so if you get room on that side like I did you would hear trucks passing easily at night but other than that no complaints. 3 stars because of that room as there was a lot of noise and couldnt sleep well because of that noise.
The staff is the best Ive ever encountered at a motel/hotel. The rooms are designed with storage and comfort in mind. The beds are so comfortable and the breakfast and drinks are fresh and ready for 4 hours each morning. Outstanding service.

Easy to find. Clean. And loving this cute little window seat with a window that actually opens !!!! Noisy as its right off the highway but Ill just turn on my white noise all and sleep just fine. Fitness center, breakfast, and 24/7 coffee and tea AND cucumber water ....I great deal for under $100.00 !!

Loved this place! So clean, rooms were very comfotable, fitness room was nice too! Breakfast is the standard fare, but a very nice seating area and waffle maker were fun! For a couple looking to get away for a weekend or just a night, this is very reasonably priced. Highly reccommend!
We needed a last-minute hotel for a single night as we were just passing through the area. The front desk attendants were very helpful, and our room was adequately clean, which was the only thing we really cared about. We checked-in around 1am, and checked-out around 10am, so we cant comment on the extra amenities. From what I remember, the included breakfast had yoghurt, bagels, apples, bananas, prepackaged banana or apple cinnamon mini muffins, sausages, scrambled eggs, make-it-yourself waffles, and a few options for cereal and milk. It served its purpose, but if a great breakfast is important to you, Id plan to eat out somewhere. If I find myself in the area again, I would certainly check here first for a decent room at a reasonable price.
Bring your own blanket. For anyone who likes a cool room, by all means this place is for you. But for the others like me, bring a blanket, like a sherpa, and youre all set. Their sheets are kind if on the thr thin side

Very clean, quiet, great mattress & excellent coffee. The premises have been freshened up. One of the best Microtel I have stayed at!

Very clean very friendly service you might want to make sure youre aware that although the rooms have everything you need they are certainly small more for a single business traveler or maybe a couple perhaps with a small child but you would be kind of cramped
This is a newer property so it was clean. But theyre not kidding when they say micro the rooms are very small. Breakfast was so-so, but included in the price so you cant complain.

A great motel in Binghamton,NY with a excellent staff,just off Rte 17/86 and near the hospital and medical places was my choice.

This is a new hotel and the rooms are clean. They do offer a complimentary breakfast and they do have a snack store for those craving those late night snacks.

2022-03-05Excellent place to stay with your pet. Their pet friendly rooms are close to the side door exit on the ground floor, I know it should be a no-brainer, but you would be surprised. Room was very clean and no pet odor upon entry. Matter of fact no sign that it was a pet friendly room at all, kudos to the staff. Front desk staff wonderful. Breakfast very basic, no bacon, sausages, eggs etc., but sufficient to fill up for our next stint on our travels. Lady manning the breakfast area made us and our dog feel very welcome. We just booked another night for our return trip stay back home.

2022-04-09I broke my ankle and was staying there a few nights before my surgery. My first night around 1am I ventured outside with my crutches. By the time I came back inside I just didnt have the energy to go back to my room using crutches. The night desk clerk Jason really took the time to try to properly fit the crutches for my height. He reassured me and help steady me. I just couldnt do it at that point because I hadnt slept in days because of the pain. He got a luggage cart and told me he would wheel me to my room and if I needed anything he would help me. He took me to my room and helped me get in the room. The compassion of that young man really went above and beyond his job duties, and I appreciate it more than hell know. Unfortunately he wasnt working any of the rest of my stay. The rest of the desk clerks were super nice too the next 3 days but he really went way above customer service. Thank you Jason! 😊

Cindy at the front desk was great upon my check-in. Courteous and very helpful. My new place to stay in this area. Negative: Not one thing!

2022-01-04Positive: The room was vey clean, its a non smoking facility which was great not to smell wired things. the staff are super friendly. they had a lovely Christmas decorations. Negative: there were not as much varieties for breakfast but it was still good.

2022-03-08Stayed here twice and the rooms were really clean and comfy! The staff were helpful and welcoming. Cindy at the front desk went above & beyond to help us, and she was a pleasure to talk to. Complimentary breakfast. 😊Recommend booking through them directly instead of a third party travel site.

2022-06-13Impressed with my first stay with Wyndham. Seems like cleanliness and friendliness is their priority. Very clean hotel, friendly réception. Decently sized room with a very functional bathroom, nice water pressure. Solid breakfast though lacking meat options. All in all a comfortable family friendly stay.

2022-05-25We had a flight canceled and a change of plans. Both separate incidents that happened at the last moment😖 John, Sabrina and Cindy came to our rescue!! Evelyn as usual provided a nice breakfast. Thanks to everyone including Katrina and Jason our stay was wonderful!Microtel is our home away from home.

2022-06-21I gave this place a 5 star bc I didnt find any fault in the room, nice and clean, hallways were well cleaned and the pet room didnt smell like dog urine while we needed it. Thank you!! The convenience for walking your dog was perfect...end of road and plenty of places to pee. Location is across the intersection for Walmart if you need anything. The hotel also has some food and treats if you need something quick. Evelyn who provides the breakfast was so lovely and does a great job!!! Unfortunately no eggs but theres lots of goodies for breakfast. Well definitely stay again or if we seek another hotel elsewhere well be looking for this chain!

2022-04-05Ive stayed at Microtels in Dickson City, Wilkes-Barre and most recently Binghamton. Theyre all clean with nice staff. Binghamton has better coffee while the others had a machine that produced very poor coffee. This one had no hard boiled eggs for breakfast. All hotels have been close to the highway so there is a lot of road noise. I dont like the pillows. This particular Microtel had a very clean smell like detergent.
