WONDERFUL STAFF! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and our stay was absolutely perfect. As soon as Vibhu heard we were on our honeymoon she gave us a beautiful suite, in addition to that she and the Microtel staff went out of their way to bring us flowers, a card, & cake! We were blown away with their hospitality it is truly a welcoming atmosphere. Both my husband and I have worked in the customer service industry; we can say with confidence that this hotel is like no other. This was hands down our best lodging experience! The suite was beautiful and most importantly very clean. There was also a little bit of everything at breakfast!
This is an exceptionally clean, recently refurbished hotel. Large by Microtel standards. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is now open so you can have a hot breakfast before going to see the falls! The walls are soundproof, they have a fitness area and a nicely appointed work area. The room is spacious, clean, and nicely furnished. The bathroom was spotless and again, recently redone with nice details. Highly recommend. As
This is the 2nd time we stayed here. Once in August and most recently last week. Rooms are exceptionally clean, beds are comfortable, space is utilized to the maximum capacity with many shelves, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Most of all the staff is extremely accommodating. They are very friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. Their number one priority is making sure the rooms are clean and it shows. We will not stay anywhere else when coming to Niagara Falls, New York.
The room was decently clean and the beds were okay. There was a problem with the ADA room I rented for my mom as the toilet wouldnt flush and we had to change room but the guest person who was working weekend evening was really helpful and great with us. Very professional and I appreciated her attentiveness which made it easier for us to deal with the inconvenience
Budget friendly cleanliness. Needed a room to crash and I’ll tell you for the money this place was sparkling clean, no smells, updated and staff was super friendly. Lots of security cameras. The budget rooms are small. Don’t think you’re getting more than one person in there until you guys like to be on top of each other. Two thumbs up.
It was a terrible experience the front desk manager was watching every thing I do I felt very uncomfortable I was using the public bathroom she steps in and doesn’t knock on the door there’s no respect here she saw me go in to the bathroom also said too wait in the lobby so she can watch me ! very creepy & plus there’s bugs in the rooms
It was clean! Other than that the beds were hard!!! When calling for towels or anything, they say you have to come to the desk to get it, when you get there they send you to other floors to hunt down someone to help you. The location is okay. If you are wanting to be next to the falls this is not the place to go. It is close to the highway so if you have a rental car its in a good location to move around.
Ive been to several microtell locations, but this one is better than most.Clean rooms. Great service .. Generous. breakfast is not put away while people are still eating. The sister managers are so sweet and helpful.I will go back there for sure next time .Namaste from Texas!
I was in Room number 308. I checked out Wednesday August 25 and I left a pink long dress inside the closet, I called in the next day and they said they did not find anything. I’m 100% that I left it there and I’m very disappointed that someone from the housekeeping department or someone else from the staff was not honest to say that they found it. It’s a very precious dress and pricy. I called in the following day? Friday and Saturday again and the agent at the front desk (Saturday shift) start yelling at me saying that they are busy and there was no dress! How could you take your guests staff like that and not even following up on their belongings!
I was very pleased with this hotel. Nice rooms. Beds were a bit hard but thats ok. The breakfast was a little small but it was free an the coffee was bomb. An I wana add the lady working the 15th sold me the room an was so wonderful! I infection took the last avaliabile room I was so happy. We went to like 3 others after I had one book accidentally in Canada. Blah.
Staff courteous, esp Cindy. Free parking. Price fair compared to other hotels closer to the falls that overcharge for parking. This isnt a Ritz or W so your room may not be immaculate. Not sure if rooms come in different sizes, but mine was particularly cozy. It was clean enough for the 1-night purpose and price. Walls as thin as most hotels. Ice machine directly across the hall was slightly disrupting. Bed surprisingly comfy! If you plan to spend most of your time sightseeing and need a decent place to sleep for a night or two while conserving some coins, this hotel does the trick. Icing is youre supporting a locally owned business! The hotel is approx 12 mins drive from the falls, and 1/4 mile from Target, fast food, bright lights, and other staples. The block its on looks drabby at night, but no issues at all during my stay. No shuttle/trolley on that Thursday.
Walking in to check in the lobby was very hot and smelled. It took more than 10 minutes to get checked in. The room was decent. It was comfortable enough, but felt like it was a bit dingy. It is not close to the falls, a few miles away, and have to drive through a rough area to the falls.
I stayed at Microtel Inn for 2 weeks because I had a appointment I need to attend so I am a real expert on this hotel, I cant say enough of good things about this wonderful, friendly staff, ready to do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. Place was clean and perfect in every way, it included free breakfast, microwave & fridge in the room and very close to everything you can possible need, all in walking distance. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks for everything.Anna
Last minute accommodations - second night was priced over the top but it was a weekend so understandable. Clean, clean, clean! Staff was great - hot breakfast was great, not gourmet, but several choices and hot. Only complaint was no coffee maker in the room but available coffee and tea 24 hours in the lounge made up for that - and the coffee was good! I’d stay again.
Nice clean rooms in the middle of town.Seems new. If you ask, they will give you free City trolley tickets. Low price includes breakfast buffet. Not so great at servicing rooms though and their breakfast selection was poor (appropriate for the price though). It was always stocked though and they even keep it running a little longer than the advertised time in case theres a rush..They dont have fresh coffee - only a terrible vending machine. They have a small gym but no pool.Std Rooms are narrow and so have inefficient coming as the AC is on one side. Half the rooms overlook a disgusting swamp with flies etc.Your experience might vary since they are good in some areas and not so good in others
For the most part, the Microtel is a decent spot. The staff was friendly, breakfast was adequate and check in/out was easy. I will say that the hotel is seriously lacking in cleanliness. The mirror in our room was covered in hand prints, the bathroom towels had marks on them, and the sheets on one of the beds (we stayed in a double room) had several hairs all over them. We had to call the front desk at midnight when we returned in for the night for replacement sheets. It really is a shame considering there are so many other great things about the hotel - they should definitely improve on this!
Im giving 2 stars because the few staff members we encountered were very friendly. Unfortunately, thats where the hospitality stopped. When we arrived, the room was 78 degrees, and the air was turned to the off position. Not a very welcoming temperature. The room was very dirty: stains and scratches on the walls, spilled drinks splashed under the desk, one of the throw pillows had a very large fluid stain, the bathroom smelled very musty because the door will not stay open, the fridge stopped working during the night causing all of our food to spoil, and had an overwhelming smell of pizza, or some other spicy type food, the top of the microwave was sticky, and more.As of that wasnt enough, it was raining quite hard when we returned from dinner, and I made the mistake of looking up at the overhang, and there were about 100 spiders sheltering from the storm - not an exaggeration.I do not expect luxury from a budget hotel, but I do expect it to be clean. We had planed to stay for 10 nights while visiting family, but checked out after one night. I was told that a manager would be calling to discuss my complaints. Its been over 24 hours, and no call has been received. Needless to say, we will not stay here again. And will recommend it be avoided until major changes can be made.
Rooms & customer service was awesome! I would have given it more stars, but the property has no pool (which was not too big of a deal), but I like hanging out outside and lounging and they dont even have a patio area for that, so that was a BIG disappointment / other than that... The rooms, bed, and inside environment were very comfortable!
The hotel amenities would have given this stay 4 stars, but for the price and customer service this was a 5 star stay. The hotel room and lobby were very clean. We started off in a connected room and could very loudly hear young children on the other side, so I asked the front desk for a different room and was switched without an issue. The beds were clean but the matress and pillows were slightly uncomfortable. Breakfast was very basic and unhealthy. There were a lot if breads. It would have been nice to have more fruit choices apart from bananas. A mall and Niagara Falls are within a short drive. For the price this was a great experience.
This was a wonderful hotel and it was inexpensive. Beds were comfortable, WiFi was a little iffy but the hotel was at full capacity so nothing unexpected there. Breakfast was amazing as there was scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, 2 different kinds of bagels, 2 different types of bread for toast, oatmeal (packaged and had to prepare), coffee, tea, hot, and 2 different types of juice, a variety of cereals, and yogurt. The rooms are very spacious with lots of towels, staff was kind and friendly. Rooms could use larger trash cans but that’s very minor. The only thing I wish this hotel did have was a pool but with that being said it was a really wonderful stay and I would GLADLY stay again!
Checking in was good everyone was so helpful took our luggage to the room and left to finish our day came back later my mom was in the shower I noticed blood spot on pillow and top sheet called downstairs the lady said she would get back to me but never did I had to go downstairs because was put on hold came back put on HD again she was very nice but it was my moms bedtime I had to tell them to take the stuff out of the room and would come up and let them in what a inconvenience never again
The hotel itself was well maintained with clean and comfortable beds. Complimentary services such as WiFi and TV were a great addition to the experience. In addition, customer service were ready to help if an issue were to arise. However, the only setback was many of the breakfast items were frozen prior to being served, reducing the freshness of the food. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.
We were able to check in late at 2:45am without any issues. Hotel isn’t very far from airport. Hotel is very clean and updated. Stayed in room 203 which had two queen beds which is exactly what I requested. Not the best view as it’s the back of the other neighboring motel other than that hotel is nice for our one night stay and price. Bed was comfy and they even had the room heated for us upon arrival. Breakfast from 6am-9:30am (I’ll have to update that tomorrow).
Cozy and clean. Apparently every room has twin bed and there are no single bed room available. The receptionist was not at all friendly. Must mention this because for anyone who comes into a hotel they would like to be welcomed at least with a smile but the receptionist who was there was really grim. Other than that we had a pleasant experience
Breakfast is not good. They advertise free breakfast as a plus point but dont fall for it. The apple juice dispenser had water coming out. Coffee was horrible. No coffee or tea in the rooms. No Ironing board. Small rooms. The rooms are good and cozy. Linen was clean. Friendly staff.
This new hotel is a nice stay but they need to hire better cleaning staff. The floors are brand new but were sticky and had drips tracked all over them in the lobby. The elevator was spacious and bright but that stainless steel was in desperate need of wiping. There were hand prints all over the elevator. The walls and the surfaces in our room were all streaked and uninviting. The desk had drink cup steaks and the window seat had glittery stuff and more steaks on it. I went back and wiped down our room. It is a nice stay because its a new building with new furniture the cleaning staff just need to work on the upkeep. The parking lot seems safe and fenced in which gives you a sense of security. We really liked all the lighting in the room as well as the USB ports and the thermostat in the room, better than fighting with the warm, cool, knobs on the HVAC system.
I visited this hotel with my wife and 16 month old baby. The hotel looks nice and everything is new. The breakfast is also decent for a hotel and the location is perfect. What made our stay a poor one was a faulty heater unit in the room that started buzzing around 3:30 am in the morning. I called the front desk and they did offer another room for us but we decided to stick it out due to not wanting to wake up our baby. When we checked out we informed the front desk staff member about our experience and she said she would pass the message to the hotel manager and he would either call or email us, which he did not do. I sent him an email to let him know about the situation to see if anything could be done at this point. Unfortunately he has not responded to my email or contact me as I was told he would do so.Still no response from the manager!
Very dishonest establishment. The first time I came to this hotel, the staff was friendly but the bathroom was filthy. It was completely unclean. I had to use shampoo and a towel while injured to clean it. Although, everything else seemed okay. I stood another night, some weeks later and there was hair in the bed (under covers) of the room I was given. The sheets didnt look changed but simply made up. The young girl at the counter helped to change the room but lacked in customer service. She stood on her personal cell phone chatting for a long time before helping (and yes, she was completely aware I was waiting). To add insult to injury, they falsely charged my credit card, despite my room being paid for in full through Expedia. Horrible service, double charge and unknown bug bites all over after leaving, I wont be back.
The hotel is newer and very clean. The breakfast area is small to accommodate the amount of people in the hotel, maybe a different layout would help. The staff we meet were nice. The parking isnt bad. Location works well, a few restaurants very close, walking distance. The negative. The hotel was built very cheap. You can hear everything. Anyone walking down the hall. The people in the next room talking. Its very thin. We were on the top floor. I could only imagine being between floors, because you would prolly hear more. Just cause it looks nice doesnt mean it is.
My stay at the Microtel, Niagara Falls NY was GREAT!!!!. People are very friendly and the hotel is kept very neat and clean. The rooms are really comfortable and beautiful. This place has Gym, conference hall and a large dinning area. The complimentary breakfast is excellent and very hygienic. I recommend this place to everyone who wants a pleasant stay. Im really thankful for all the people there who made my stay comfortable.
Checked in and everything seemed fine until we got to our room. It had the do not disturb sign on the door and when we entered the room had not been cleaned. We went back to the front desk to let her know about the issue. We were told they will get the room cleaned ASAP and that they were very sorry. She said it would be about 20 minutes and that she was going back up to help clean our room. About 20 minutes later she came down and told us our room was ready. She proceeded to give us a new key card for an adjacent room.I had initially asked if there any other rooms when I reported the issue. They did offer to put us in a suite to wait and then we would be moved to our room, we opted to wait in the lobby. But why didnt we just get the different room to begin with instead of having to wait?
Reasonable price for either a new or remodeled hotel. Not sure which. One big issue is lighting. The is a switch by the door that does nothing. You have to walk in to the room and turn one light on between the beds. That is the only main room light. There is a little nook light and a bathroom light. Way darker than most. Also limited flat space. Little table between the beds. Not much counter space in the bathroom. Not huge complaints. If we had to do it again we certainly would.
Hotel was fine. First day had to wait for checkin. It was horrible. They took 2 hours to arrange a crib for baby and gave it around midnight. That was terrible. Other than that, room was clean. Comfortable bed and there is a microwave and fridge. Check fridge temperature level before keep anything in there. Good breakfast. Same stuff every morning. 10 mins to falls. Surrounded by lot of fast food restaurants.
Really like this hotel! This is my first time staying in a only two-months old hotel. Everything is practically brand new. The room is spacious and well-designed. The hotel is very close to Niagara Falls state park as well. I gave it a four star because my phone was never able to connect to the wifi.
Nothing special about this place, but it’s in a good location (not too close and not too far from the tourist craziness). My SO and I stayed there for a couple nights. The first hour of the first night, the fire alarm kept going off for no apparent reason to the point where he thought calling the front desk to see what was the deal was a better idea instead of evacuating the building...I guess they informed him it was broken and they were working on fixing it. Maybe around 9:30 pm the fire alarm finally stopped and there was no other incident the remainder of our stay. Other than that, decent price for the location and for a last minute deal.
Rooms neat and tidy, but...... Place was massively understaffed. Poor woman on desk was totally overwhelmed, seems she was expected to deal with the whole place herself. 90% of breakfast food gone a full hour before the breakfast closed. And in the name of all that is holy please find and use fabric softener. Full layer of skin exfoliated by sandpaper bath towels, and not by choice!
Its a very nice hotel. I am giving 4 stars because of bit high price and limited parking spots available other than that customer service is good, front desk is good and hotel rooms are very clean and tidy. Breakfast over the weekend was amazing, they had pancakes for breakfast, loved it. This place is only 4 miles away from falls.
Awesome hotel within reasonable price .Plenty of foods option in the breakfast.Rooms are clean and nice semi firm bed, pillows are firm ,32 tv, nice ambience .Good sound score, couldnt find noise .They have ice and water machine on every level. They provided small refrigerator and microwave oven, side table in the room . Added things are Spacious bathroom with adjustable bathtub seat , hand shower , big mirror. I didnt find any issue with parking cause they have big parking area.
Microtel inn and suites is decent, for a smaller town, there are not as many nicer choices for hotels. Its a smaller hotel/motel, but the interior is newer and modern. Unfortunately there is no pool and you can hear footsteps pretty loudly above you. There is a free complimentary breakfast though, and free WiFi, although the speed is a bit slow. The worst was the neighboring hotel (Antonios) had a bunch of people outside yelling loudly at midnight that disturbed my sleep. The general manager at the front desk seemed to not care about her job, and was often on her phone and had a bit of attitude. However, on the flip side its clean and pretty new.
This hotel was modern quiet and had a good breakfast selection. Its located minutes from the fashion outlets, target and there are plenty of food options nearby. Gone are the days of cards that dont seem to be read by the sliding card reader. Tap and go, thats it. One gripe would be to include a paper to guide. There was no instructions on how to get TV guide and you had to exit out of your show each time. Also, room was clean, but previous occupant left behind some creepy religious cult book which leads me believe the cleaning staff werent as thorough as they should be :)
My girlfriend and I decided to stay here for our vacation. When I called I was told we weren’t getting a jacuzzi room. I called and confirmed the night before with the staff. Upon arrival we were greeted with not a jacuzzi but with a jetted bathtub. I am 6’6 I am not fitting in a bathtub. When I told stay they said they couldn’t do anything but tell their manager and to call the corporate number. Called the corporate number and was lied to by Alyssa and was told he was a supervisor and that “corporate” told her to say she was a supervisor. Upon leaving I was told we would get a few dollars off our room for our troubles. I felt like my vacation was a sham and I didn’t get to enjoy the way we were promised. Would not recommend.
Hotel and room were super clean.Included breakfast was basic (Bagels, scrambled eggs, yoghurt, cereal, coffee, juice, ...) but great quality. At the reception we received a free ticket for the shuttle bus to the falls and a vochure for a discount card for the outlets.Nice places to eat out around (Olive garden, Applebees, ...).Friendly staff.Clearly exceeded our expectations!
Hotel was brand new, was very pretty. Room was a bit tight, but was very pretty & modern looking. Bed was a little too firm, had a hard time sleeping. Wall air unit was VERY noisy. Made a loud sound when it came on & was just loud compared to other wall units. Did like that the room had a microwave & mini fridge.
Great location. Clean environment. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because i woke up in the morning to a huge beetle on one of the beds...yuck. I dont think it had anything to do with the cleanliness of the hotel, it probably just flew in through the door somehow. Aside from that the hotel was nice overall
New hotel amidst rows of older establishments. Offers the expected hotel trifecta for the area of free breakfast, wifi, and parking. Simple rooms, breakfast is an adequate continental with boiled eggs, cereal, muffins, toast. The beds were a bit firm and no coffee maker in the room. Otherwise clean and a good value when staying overnight for a shopping trip.
My friend and I were having a terrible experience with our hotel next door at the Quality Inn. We wanted to immediately check in to the Microtel next door. The facility and staff were very accommodating and great with customer service! They were very understanding and wanted us to have an amazing experience at their facility.
Under skilled housekeeping staff made it so my wife and I were able to pay 100 a night for a room littered with tobacco wrappers (cleaned ourselves) and we were also fortunate enough to change our socks every 5 feet in the room because the floor was soaked for lord knows what reason. Gave it 2 stars opposed to a single star because the parking lot was nice.
This Hotel is not safe!!!!!!I‘ve lost my switch and games (€600) in this hotel. My room was locked and with „no disturb“ card on my door. But my switch is still lost. Apparently someone who has my room key has entered my room und took my switch. The Hotel doesn‘t want to pay my lost und the checking process goes very slowly. IThis Hotel is not safe!!!!!!
NOT SERVICE DOG FRIENDLY!!!We recently stayed at this Microtel in Niagara Falls NY. I have a seizure alert service dog with me at all times and just flew into Buffalo with her. She wears a license with all her info. The airport has always excepted her license.... on the other hand, this motel made check-in very uncomfortable.First the person checking me in needed to ask the manager if it was ok to let a service dog in... then the Manager tells me to show documentation of her abilities, I offered him her license, then he lists all these requirements, if she barks, makes any noise, frightens other customers, is off leash at anytime, Ill have to leave. She is a 11 Lb Morky (Yorkie/Maltese). Trained so well, people on the plane dont know shes on the plane. Restaurants are always impressed with her behavior.Having epilepsy sucks, its embarrassing enough let alone get this kind of treatment from a second rate hotel.I have to say tho... the room was really great, super clean, modern. But the check in really sucked.
My stay at the Microtel, Niagara Falls NY was GREAT!!!!. People are very friendly and the hotel is kept very neat and clean and WiFi was good. I recommend this place to everyone who wants a pleasant stay. Im really thankful for all the people there who made my stay comfortable.
This a new hotel with outstanding management and wonderful staff. The owner and his son are helpful and knowledgeable. Tracy at the front desk is a wealth of information and knowledgeable about the area and has provided helpful answers to questions. Siva, the owners son is on the property and is extremely helpful as well.
Two stars only for clean rooms. Customer service is awful. Some indian lady , who owns this place apparently treated the kids as if it was her home. There was a computer lab. First night we checked in the person on desk was little better. Made conversation, helped out. Next day they had different employees. No greeting , nothing. On top of that left the door for computer lab open, while every stranger could walk by and see the kids sitting in that room. Unsecure and childish behaviour from the old lady which runs the place. It was as if she thought running a motel is like her home. They need more training and upper managment should look at who they give their franchises to. Management is not a skill for many. She was one of them. Also untrained staff , reflects the owner. She should be retired and someone else needs to take over to save this place from going downhill.
Hotel reservation and check in process was smooth. 10mins away from state park and close to restaurants and grocery stores. Breakfast was decent.Looks like new hotel there is some work going on still .Room was neat and bed was great.Bathrooms were also good. Would definitely recommend
Very unprofessional and rude. I am a frequent business traveler, platinum member. My travel plans changed last minute, they refused to cancel my reservation because I was within their 24 hr window. I offered to reschedule for 3 days later, they wouldn’t budge.Guess they needed $60 more than a loyal customer.
One of the newest and convenient spots to stay in Niagara Falls. Steps away from the Fashion Outlet mall, Walmart, TJ Max, Sams club, etc. Lots of good places to eat in the area. Very friendly and hard working staff, overall a clean and modern facility. Enjoyed the weekend stay from Canada, definitely coming back!
Horrible. The staff is extremely rude. We were quoted one price, then charged differently. We were told that only the manager could help, but there was no manager available to speak with- on a Friday night!?! The free breakfast was nasty. Stay anywhere else, seriously.
Rude staff gave us keys to someone elses room we entered and saw some one was in there this is such a huge mistake!!!! The staff was rude on top and was not even sorry about it kept us waiting to get in the room by 30mins . Breakfast was supposed to be Continental but it was just muffins, cereal and bread thats it . Microtel is spoiling Wyndhams name.

2022-01-02I stayed here on NYE with my wife and son. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were too firm for me. This place is less than 5 minutes from the outlets and 10 minutes from the falls. The price was great. I definitely recommend this place fir someone trying to visit the falls on the cheap.

2022-01-30My family and I went there the weekend of the 15th of January 2022. I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews. However the hotel was clean. And the service we received from the lady at the front desk was great. The rooms were clean. Smelled clean. We had 3 rooms and there was no issue with any of the rooms. The price was right and we are glad we stayed there. Would recommend them. I hope they keep up the great service and cleanliness that we experienced.

2022-05-30It was a not a not experience I had with my stay at Microtel, good thing was they served breakfast part of the room price. AC was not at its best during the night, we had to get up from bed every our to increase the cool and go back to bed. Other than that, it was an ok stay for us.

2022-02-21Another fantastic Microtel. Great staff, very helpful. 2 queen bed room we got was so clean and comfy. This was the first time I stayed in a Microtel that did not have coffee or tea options in the room.

2022-01-30Positive: Location. Room and hotel are clean Exceeded expectations Negative: Heater was really drying the air. Woke up from dry air multiple times in the night. But Im sure in other seasons, this hotel would be very good.

2022-06-08Positive: Modern, clean rooms. Nice breakfast. Excellent location. Pleasant staff. 24h coffee machine.
