My wife and I recently returned to the USA, where I had not set foot in over 12 years. I was a very long term and generally very happy customer at Chase,. Upon my return I had some security concerns about my accounts so I was advised to close them and open new ones. I was not advised of the mass of new conditions and fees associated with a simple personal checking account. Once this was made clear to me, it became clear that it was time to shop for another place to do my banking. I went into a couple of local credit unions, met the staff and was generally quite pleased, but I thought lets give the bank just up the street a shot. It turned out to be Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union. Julie Lucia and another staff member treated us like family from the moment we walked in. Julie really sold us on that facility, no sales involved actually. The place just felt right. we have been with them a couple of months, and Julie takes care of us by email, often replying in minutes as though she is there waiting for us. (Phone just does not work for me, but i am sure you will get the same level of service.) To keep it shorter, we are happy and believe any consumer would be happy with this credit union. My mom and i have been at this bank for a long time now. No other bank compares. The employees are ALL wonderful. We especially want to thank Jessica. She is an amazing person and employee. She goes up and above her call of duty on many occasions. Very sweet and professional.
Best financial institution you could ever do business with. Fishkill office @ Susan Timpone and Vicki Mastronardi best people ever. Their patience, professionalism and customer experience skills should be an example to everyone out there in the same field as them. I just love the MHVFCU, I am always treated with respect and everyone is helpful, everyone always has a smile on their faces and I feel very welcome. Makes me feel they want to help me with whatever business I am there for. I appreciate everyone there. Sam, Julie, Susan, are wonderful.A special Shout out to Vicky Lynn and Jessica because I happen to usually go there when they are there, But all have been very accommodating to me.
This week our experience with Vicki at the Fishkill Branch was great. She was very efficient and helpful with our debit card issue.
I have been a member for over 10 years . When I first became a member it was mainly for convenience only. Since the branch was in my back yard practically. Over the years I would just visit to talk to staff and enjoy free coffee or hot chocolate. Samantha Dunn was the main team member I saw. She was always friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. In 2016 had a life changing experience and had to move out of the area. The area I live there is no MHV branches the closest was 50 miles away. So I went to online banking only. Which has been excellent. However, I was unable to cash checks, I was informed I can through mobile banking. However not been tech savvy it was all Greek to me and I am not Greek. So there was the problem. Recently I was in a area of a MVH branch and I needed to make a deposit do I went inside and was surprised to see Samantha. It had been over a year since I saw here last and she remembered me. I did explain the problem I had with the mobile banking and she as usual. In her courteous manner walked me through the steps. Now I will have almost full service from 50 miles from closest branch. I have always like this organization and Samantha is one of the many reasons
I cant say enough about the incredible service I get from Vicki M. She is my go to with any and every financial consideration. She is open, honest, thorough, detailed and most importantly, trust worthy. I never feel like she is doing anything other than looking out for my best interest. I cant praise her enough. This branch has such a special gift with her representing them.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience with this branch! We were helped by Samantha Dunn! We applied for a charge card to consolidate a few CCs with high interest rates and the process was smooth and quick! Sam made her self available and made the process easy. Sam was so helpful that we asked her about possibly refinancing our boat loan and personal loan to them for a better interest rate. That also was easy, efficient and a huge savings to us. Thank you again Sam for be a Great representative to MHFCU and making our experience Wonderful! I also recommended my son reach out to Sam to help him with some consolidation and again she went above and beyond and was a great help to him too!
Samantha from the Fishkill office assisted me and my husband today with a personal loan. Sam was knowledgeable, efficient and a pleasure to work with. Sam assisted with the process from beginning to end all in a matter of hours-. MHVFCU and Sam bring back that personal touch of what banking should be and should have. Myrecipe4life LLC has been a member of the MHVFCU for approximately 2 years. Every time we stop in we are greeted with a hello and how can we help you. The service is efficient and we rarely have a long wait time to be seen. The tellers and everyone at this location are helpful and knowledgeable. We are happy to do business with them.

Positive and negative experience here. The tellers are all very nice and helpful, but I had a loan specialist try to talk me out of buying a used JeepWrangler because he couldnt see why I wanted such an old car. I didnt appreciate his personal opinion.

2021-09-25I love my branch in Woodstock, but I had to come to Fishkill to replace my bank card. The experience was even better than I expected. In a difficult time, Jessica was so so sweet and made me feel held, supported and taken extra care of. When your bank feels like home even when you’re out of town you know you’ve made the right choice.Thank you Jessica!(Oh and the music was awesome. So nice)

2021-07-11I give it 2 stars because Sam was extremely helpful and if it wasn’t for her I’d probably never set foot back in there. We opened up a personal checking and savings with her as well as a personal loan and she was professional and efficient. But when it came to the mortgage department it was very disappointing. I’m sorry but Denise Quinn was unprofessional. I would not recommend her to anyone looking for a mortgage. She appeared to be “too busy” voicemail was always full and it’s been 3 weeks and still no reply to our emails.

2021-01-07I had questions about possibly taking out a loan and the staff members were wonderful. I had not been a customer at the time, but after going to the Fishkill Branch, I am now. As soon as I entered, they made me feel welcome. The four women I spoke to were so sweet and helpful. The office was very clean and organized - especially important with everything going on with COVID. I am so impressed with this branch!
