I recently visited the Watertown, NY repair shop on 3-10-21, to have my Lincoln MKZ diagnosed for front suspension noise from tires and mid-car. I was told that I needed to replace a front wheel hub assembly and a lower transmission torque strut. I specifically asked for them to do a full diagnostic on the front steering and suspension and was told these were the only issues and in the representatives own words everything else is good to go. I opted for only the hub assembly work because Lincolns are expensive to repair and the representative told me it was imperative to me using my vehicle, and paid $398.36 for the service. After getting my car back I had to return less than an hour later for metal on metal scraping coming from the tires. I was told by the representative that the new parts possibly had a defect and they would be replaced but due to it being half hour to close they would have to keep it overnight. The next morning I went and picked my car back up and once again in less than an hour I was back for wheel noise in the front. I was then told by the representative that the caliper they put back on was rubbing the edge of the rotor, so they adjusted it and shaved the edge of the rotor. I havent experienced any noises since, however, upon inspecting my vehicle two days later on 3-13-21, I noticed the following issues:*Driver side front rack and pinion boot is disconnected exposing the rod and leaking grease.*Passenger side control arm and ball joint boot is torn, leaking grease and covered in grime and was reconnected to the brand new hub hardware I just purchased.*Drive side front rotor has a massive groove in it from worn hardware.*Power steering reservoir has leaked all over everything under it.It was my understanding that when I requested a diagnostic that those issue would be noticed, mentioned to me, and quoted for remedy, however, this did not happen and I was left to be completely shocked when I visually inspected it myself. Under NYS law my vehicle wont even pass inspection in its current state and not only did these issues not get mentioned, they even hooked the new hub assembly hardware back up to a fairly damaged ball joint and control arm, so there is not a doubt it was noticed, as well as the power steering fluid being all over everything I assume would be quite noticeable as well. I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the services I paid for, not only having to bring my car there 2 times in 2 days for issues involving their repairs, but to find theres even more issues that they failed to notice, or mentioned lto me so I am at least aware of the issues is insult to injury and completely unacceptable. I paid for a service thinking Id have some peace of mind that the vehicle was safe and mechanically sound for the time being, and now its sitting in my driveway until I find a way to have it serviced and be able to pass an inspection and be ok to drive like I had originally payed for. The only reason I gave two stars is I felt like the one guy was sincere about helping me out, but unfortunately I feel like whoever did the repairs is lacking serious quality skills and judgment as a mechanic. Based on my experience, and the mess I found after the fact, I would not recommend this company.I added pics below of the damaged parts that were overlooked.
Rocky and Elizabeth are awesome! The mechanics are straight up with me. They tell me what they see and have given me great advice on what to do. And my car looks and feels great after every visit. This is my go to for all my cars needs.
Since we moved to the area in 2017, we have been coming to Midas for all of our car needs and services, including regularly scheduled oil changes and safety inspections. The reason for this specific review was for this morning. My “check engine” light came on and I immediately called Midas to ask if they had an opening, as I know they are extremely busy, and Angela let me know I could bring it in right away. When we arrived, they brought my car into the garage almost instantly, where Rocky and Rob assessed the issue. They kept us updated every step of the way with what they were doing, what needed to be done, what they recommended, and the cost of it all. Rocky even offered a loaner car while we waited, but we were in and out in just a couple of hours. My car is running smoothly again, as they got to the root of the issue and fixed it. I’m so very grateful for honest, reliable, trustworthy, upfront mechanics and the business that I do with Midas, especially with Rocky and Christian.
Rocky, Angela and the team were really professional and respectful. Rocky was really straight forward with all my questions and concerns. They told me it was gonna be a week from when I turned my car in to be done due to parts needed. Rocky told me hell do what he can to push parts to come earlier. Called next morning and told me my vehicle will be done by the afternoon. I was shocked. They took me in last minute and fixed my vehicle in less than 24 hours. Great shop and great team!!! Thank you!!!
I was able to get an appointment exactly when I needed it. I dropped it off and received a call within the hour as to what the problem was and after giving the go ahead the job was done quickly and at a very reasonable price. Upon picking it up Rocky and the staff was very friendly and gave a full explanation of all work that was done. Excellent experience all around!
Rocky was excellent! I expected actually a higher price for my van. I had an oil change, tune up and something else done that i can’t remember 😂 but i expected the charges to be a lot more. He was great and very knowledgeable about things when i asked.The front desk, i can’t for the life of me rennet name but she was awesome as well.I highly recommend this shop. I will be taking my cars back for the rest of the time we are here.
I have taken both of my vehicles to Midas since we moved here for the military 3 years ago.They have always been quick, efficient, clean, and professional. The price is always the best I have found.They care about their customers as individuals and genuinely provide individualized care that makes a difference. I would highly recommend them to any one!

Theyve been really patient so far with us. They have my pilot right now. Even after they diagnosed it, they were patient with us and even gave us the code so we could search for the best deal to get it fixed. Will let you know how it went after we get our car back.
I made the appointment request the day before when they were closed and it was accepted after they opened Monday morning. Rocky was super helpful & everyone else was really nice too. I was allowed into the garage to see exactly what they would be repairing and then offered two options of quotes (one for what was absolutely necessary and one for everything that would eventually need to get done). Overall I left happy & would go back if I had more problems with my car.
I came to midas because my Ford Escape has been making a loud squeaking sound for months after I got my rotors and brakes changed. I had gone to some other place and they didn’t fix the sound or even know what it was. When I came to Midas the guy named Rocky showed me what was the cause and also told me other things I needed to replace soon. He was very cool and knew what he was doing. I will definitely come back for any car services in the future I may need.
Going to Midas today, I wasn’t expecting the level of service I received, down to earth, informative, good all around feeling that their actually trying to fix your vehicle!!!! I would definitely go back again and highly recommend if anyone wants excellent service…. Go to Midas in Watertown
I’d first like to thank Jason and Rob for building me a custom exhaust for my 99 Silverado, and yes they do custom exhaust work. I called and went to multiple shops asking if they could put dual exhaust on my truck and they all turned me down, I was very surprised when I called Midas and they said yes, Im very happy with the quality of materials and how they were installed, and they made sure I was happy with the work they did before they took it off the lift. All in all I’m very pleased with the work they did and the professional courtesy they had. I recommend this place for quality exhaust work.
Be weary of this business. Deceptive business practices. We had both our front catalytic converters fixed here. They asked me if I wanted to have them change my spark plugs. I said no, I can do it. Then three days after they did the work my car was doing the same thing it was when i dropped it off. I called midas and they said my warranty on my catalytic converters was voided because I hadnt changed the spark plugs. The manager never mentioned that to me at the time he asked if I wanted them to change the plugs. Being frustrated, I took the pilot to honda during a diagnostic check and they dropped the exhaust and the rearmost cat was clogged. Honda stated their was no reason Midas didnt see this when they replaced my front two, and never should have allowed me to take my car without replacing this cat. Honda stated the spark plug claim and voiding my catalytic warranty was bogus, since it had absolutly nothing to do with the rearmost cat being clogged. I honesly feel like this manager at this Midas location is dirty and ripping people off. Now I have to see if my warranty is good, since this Midas obviously has no idea what their talking about. Plus with the rising cost or catalytic converters, I asked for my old parts back and was given about 5 different excuses why i may not be able too. I told them if there was a core charge that was fine. But i still got nothing but a song and dance from the employee. Finally I said sir, either give them to me if their isnt a core charge, or keep them if there is. He said ok. Then when I picked up my car I had to insist to get my old parta back again. I would like a call from the owner on how to make this right.
I had taken my vehicles to other shops before trying Midas. Not only did they repair my vehicles but they took the time to show me the problems and explained why the repairs were needed.I have not had issues with my vehicles and feel comfortable bringing them here for additional maintenance.Thank-you for your professionalism and great service.
I chose this shop due to the reputation I read online. New to the area and put my faith in that. I was not disappointed, as they listened to the issue I was having with my Mazda CX-5. Instead of ignoring it (like most shops do) they used it as a diagnostic tool, and quickly found the issue which was a plugged cabin filter. Replaced it and I was on my way with temperature control in my car again, within 30 minutes. Not overpriced, honest, and friendly techs. Would highly recommend and I will be a repeat customer. Rocky and team, keep up the good work. It is noticed and appreciated!
Great place to get auto service at a fair price.
This is my third time coming to the MIDAS shop, and each time they have never failed to provide exquisite customer service and shop services. Their scheduling availability and turn-around times are quicker than most shops in the area. On top of that, they have always gone above and beyond to make sure my vehicles are taken care of. I have switched most of my vehicle servicing, for both vehicles, to the MIDAS shop in Watertown and highly recommend others do the same.
The customer service and repair work done were both outstanding. They worked with me and my warranty company to get some pretty big repairs covered, everyone I interacted with was communicative and friendly and everything was done right and on time. Ill be back, thank you so much!
We took our car to Midas after another company tried to charge us almost $2000 which included work we were pretty sure we didnt need. Midas confirmed that the extra work was unnecessary, and we ended up saving almost $600. The work was professionally done, the service was friendly, and the price was reasonable and unpadded.
We ran into car troubles while visiting for a few days from Canada. It turned out to be a faulty alternator. On a very busy Friday, we stopped and asked if it was possible to help us out. No problem! About 2 1/2 hours later we were on our way. Thank you so very much for helping us out. Your help AND kindness will not be forgotten! Absolutely wonderful people.Update: We needed information regarding our invoice. I called Midas, and after a month , Rocky Dunn, the desk attendant remembered us. Great guy, and fantastic service. Ive been bringing my vehicle here since I moved to the area over a year ago and the guys have been great. Ive lived all over the US and dealt with shops all along the way and these guys have been top notch. Theyre honest and they work hard to get people in ASAP and havent pushed unnecessary parts/fixes at all, and have been willing to tell me how to fix things myself at a lower cost when possible.
It is the only place I trust to touch my vehicle.Theyre always willing to help and figure out whats wrong with your vehicle, even when you dont know. Christian and Jay are the go to guys!! Honest mechanics that provide quality work at a great price. Cant beat it!

The guys at Midas are awesome! I went to them after having awful customer service at two other mechanics in Black River/Watertown. They really know how to take care of the customer.Ive brought both my cars to them multiple times and theyve done quality work at reasonable prices. Took my Subaru to the dealer and they wanted $100 to diagnose the problem. Midas took a look for free. I also got my brakes worked on by a different mechanic and they fixed the problem from his crappy installation and even gave me a discount on the labor since I had just paid for it to be done. As you can tell by other reviews and the responses, they care about customer service. Special thanks to Rocky, the manager for taking care of me.
Rock and Angela at modus are amazing! They took care of my care very fast and got me in and out in just a few minutes. Angela’s customer service was amazing. They also didn’t charge me for all the little stuff that most places around here will. I recommend this place if you need stuff done
The owner Rocky was more than accommodating throughout the entirety of my visit. My vehicle needed a replacement for the muffler, exhaust pipe, and gasket and they got me in right away and fixed the vehicle within 2 hours (under the expected wait time). The best part about the whole experience was that I received quotes from a few other places in the area and this by far was the fairest price for the work done. Another local chain place attempted to charge me over $300 more than the price midas was offering. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.
Once again, Rocky and his crew have done an outstanding job. I brought my older vehicle in to then due to it was overheating, thinking that I was going to have to spend a small fortune. But they were able to find and fix the problem at minimal cost (when they could have ripped me off, which so many other places would). They didi a great job; I have and will go to them for any mechanical issue that I have.
Great customer service. Read reviews for a few places before I took my car in for service. Took me in the back with the car taken apart to show me what they measured for breaks and rotators and what they suggested. Worked on the price with me and was done within the hour. Highly recommend they don’t hassle you with random work and are straightforward with prices.
Great Experience! Our vehicle was seen promptly, repaired quickly, and communication was excellent. Employees were incredibly friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful. Staff was polite and easy to understand as far as the automobile world goes...They didnt just ignore me once they had my vehicle in the bay, the staff was very personable and easy to talk to. ALSO!! My experience at Midas in Watertown was overall great. The team there is very professional and experts at what they do. I originally came in for my brakes and along with that was able to get my A/C fixed as well. Being in the army makes me tight on time but they worked with me so I appreciate that. I gave a 3 stars because I took my 2009 Toyota Corolla today for an inspection but turned out the mechanic told me my brake pads are worn out and the left pins are frozen hence my vehicle failed the inspection.😭💔 In order to get a pass, I have to get it replaced and the total with tax is about $430!😳😱 I need a pass to get the car registration for 2020 ~ 2021. Im skeptical about the cost and definitely will get a second opinion. Mr.Christians courtesy and friendliness is appreciated.

Everyone was so professional and personable from the first phone call I made! They took great care of my car and were more than fare with prices! I was regularly updated about my vehicles progress. I do a lot of shopping around before i do anything. Midas has the best prices and customer service in Watertown. Ive been bringing my vehicles here for almost 2 years now and everytime I get excellent customer service. Rocky, the manager, has always been very helpful and has always gone above and beyond to get anything I need done, whether its getting an oil change, inspections, or just overall advice he is great. Wait times are reasonable for the work that gets done. Mechanics are very knowledgeable and equally helpful. The waiting room is very clean and the environment is friendly. I would highly recommend this location to everyone.
Being an out of stater alot of places try to take advantage of you BUT NOT Rocky!!!!! He was sympathetic understanding and honest!!!! I cant stress enough the HONEST part!!!!!!! We are summer residents in nearby Cape Vincent, NY. It can be very intimidating and stressful finding a good, reliable auto repair shop when you are far from home. After 9 years of summer residency we have finally found THE auto repair shop! I knew I could trust these guys from the moment I walked in the door. The shop and all the employees set forth an atmosphere of honesty, integrity, hard work, fun and open communication. I came in for a loud exhaust and needed an inspection done, fully expecting that I would be walking out with an entirely new exhaust system and an empty wallet. To my surprise, I was brought back to see that my exhaust pipe was split in two and could be easily fixed. However, my car did fail the inspection, needed a part that wouldnt be available until the next morning. These guys gave me a loaner PT Cruiser to use until my car was ready the next morning. My car was fixed and inspected for a very.reasonable price and most importantly, I felt I was treated with respect. Watertown Midas has earned a new lifetime customer!
Brought my car in for an oil change 2 years ago after moving up to the North Country and have returned for a numerous of jobs to include Lampsets replaced,tie rods, brakes and rotors replaced. I recommend them for reasonable prices, guaranteed service warranty. Great customer service and clean facility.
Definitely, my one and only pick when getting my car serviced or fixed. At Midas, Watertown, Youre treated like an actual customer and not a number. They are always great about getting my car in, even on days when I bring it in at the last minute and they are at full capacity (which tells you already how popular they are), but they know that you need your vehicle ASAP so they work it in. They work with you and are honest about pricing. They always physically show you what work your car may need and give you an explanation why it needs it, in case you’re not car savvy.Their customer service is always top notch and when you walk out of there, you feel like you just left your friend’s house. They don’t treat you like a customer, they treat you like family. This is one of the few establishments that values its customer relations and is not in the business of just trying to get your money and shove you out the door.I’ve lived in Watertown for 6 years after separating from the military, and they are still the only shop I bring my car to as well as the only one I recommend to my family and friends.Thanks again Rocky for always being patient and going above and beyond what is required when dealing with my vehicle. In the past 3 days I have brought my car in to midas twice for basic upkeep care, now most people would leave a sour review for that fact, not me. I am only giving 4 stars because I had to come back but I have been treated with the utmost respect and understanding. Every step of the way I have been informed of what they are doing, what they have found, how they would go about fixing it and cost. Friendly, understanding, knowledge, affordable and everything is done in a timely manner. What more can you ask for?

Im a retired disabled man from Colorado visiting my son In Watertown NY. My car developed a rhythmic thump in the drivers side front wheel and I was very concerned about driving it 1900 miles back to Colorado. The people here got it checked out VERY quickly and it turned out to be a minor adjustment which they did immediately and got me back on the road safely. Top notch service and the friendliest people you could hope to do business with! Highly recommended!
Went down to gace a van looked at and get an oil change done. Ended up paying 250+ to have them break off my dipstick inside the tube and less than 250miles after the oil change the oil lights vack on. Save money and just go to morno auto free lookover than actually goes in depth and much cheaper. The golden toch Midas from my experience is not worth much
Went in with a loud exhaust system, rusted out muffler flange, and loose-hanging muffler. I fully expected to have to replace the entire exhaust system (~1000), but the mechanics were able to fix all of the issues in an hr, at about 1/10th of the expected cost. Would totally recommend to anyone in need of work. Extremely professional, hard workers, and quick repairs at a decent price.
Their work was impeccable I got to say that they know what theyre doing down there just at their prices are crazy like I said Im buying parts online for a third of what these Auto parts and these deal and these garages are charging $1,000 worth I get it for $300 online for the lifetime warranty and its worth it to buy an extra set just keep swapping them out when they go bad its crazy the prices theyre charging nowadays covids really affected everything
I visited Midas today to get my muffler repaired. This was my first time at a Midas and I was blown away by the whole experience. It was fast and easy. The front desk worker, Christian, was extremely friendly and helpful. I was never harassed about signing up for a credit card, no one told me that my car was a mile away from breaking down and no one tried to upsell me on other services. The repair iteself was a good price and only took about 2 hours. I will be doing all my car repairs here in the future!
Fast, Friendly & Professional service that will not try to take advantage of a costumers lack of knowledge. The staff is willing to show and explain what repairs need to be done. This is hands down the best garage around. They are up front about the time its going to take to make repairs or change your oil. Im usually in and out in a very reasonable amount of time.
We were traveling from Ottawa Ontario to a convention in Newburgh NY when our recently serviced brakes started to make terrible noises.The owner overheard our conversation with the receptionist and within a few minutes, altho the shop was busy, he personally checked everything and confirmed that we were safe. He felt that the new brakes hadn’t been “broken in” yet. He was right as the noises stopped within a couple of hours.He was most gracious and helpful and would not accept any payment. We are pleased to recommend his shop very highly.
Been here two times and they are offer professional services.-The first was to do some exhaust work which is hard to come by and they did an excellent job at a fair price.-The second was to fix an oil leak which was causing my belts to squeak. The midas in Albany told me that they could not find the issue. while the Midas here found it after two hours. After all that labor they put into it, they determined the cost and recommended that I cancel the work because of the high cost. Then they offered me tips to maintain the car myself. and they did all this FREE of charge.-I will be coming back here next time I need work done.
Absolutely excellent service. They have looked at our car and diagnosed it for free several times and never pressure you to fix it. They are honest, quick, and polite. A GREAT place to trust for fixing your car.
Anytime I have an issue with my car theyre always the first people I call. They always help me out, even if they dont have time, they make the time to check it out. Theyre always so nice and help you any way they can. Definitely dont plan on taking my car anywhere else anytime soon.

Not good with names, but you guys were super to me today. Came in, out of town, in a bind and could easily been taken advantage of, but you gave me great service. Had a noise no one could identify and your mechanic (the tall one) not only found it, but advised me how to have it fixed under warranty. Let him know that since he pulled the front drive shaft, no more chirp, clang or whistle has been heard. This is the 1st time having any work done at midas in watertown and i cant say enough about the professionalism and quality of their work. Ive always like the midas brand but this store was the best. I recommend to anyone in the watertown, ft drum area that needs something done to their auto.
My car came in to the shop with all kinds of issues Rocky was beyond accomidating and friendly. He pulled me out back and the technician Kenny was very thorough in explaining to me what was going on with my vehicle. Ultimately they could not fix every issue with my car (transmission) however they went above and beyond to explain to me what was happening and gave me honest reccomendations on going forward with repairs.Will continue to bring my car here and reccomend it to others.

I went in for a NYS inspection and walked out with new brakes and oil change and friends. These guys were fun and even though it was late...they did my brakes and oil change. Weve been bringing our two vehicles to Midas on Arsenal St for over 7 years. Weve gotten brake work done, new A/C, CV joints, and also basic work like oil changes and inspections. My husband went in today to have rear breaks looked at. We told them not to adjust anything, (the issue was previously fixed at another shop and we were going to take it back there). Walked out with a $30 bill when all we wanted them to do it look at the issue. The day prior we were quoted this service is free of charge. If it was something that needed fixed then and there, we would have gotten them to take care of it. Not a problem.

I was charged 2 hours for 1 hour 15 minutes, they said that they were going to replace an expansion piece that was leaking on my exhaust, instead they welded a solid piece of pipe inside the expansion piece and painted the outside so it would look like a new piece. Still got charged $40.00 for the part. Its called being ripped off.. Not happy, will not be back.
I have been to the Midas in Watertown multiple times and have had great service everytime. If i have questions they answer them and explain their plan for my car before doing anything. Honest people! We need more places like them that we can trust!
I used Midas to get my vehicle inspected, and I was in and out within 20 minutes! They were very quick, efficient, and charged a reasonable price.
We know that our vehicles require maintenance yet sometimes we seem to forget that these costs for parts and services can add up if we do not get our vehicles serviced regularly. When I weigh out the cost of a repair verses how much I rely on my car I realize that though I may not want to spend money on repairs there is no value on the safety of the lives of my passengers. I appreciate the customer service and the friendly knowledgeable staff at Midas.This was not my first visit to Midas and it will not be my last. I went in with one concern and left with several other unknown issues taken care of and piece of mind that my vehicle was serviced properly and with care. Hands down the best place in town. Was able to get into the schedule in a very timely manner. They take the time to explain whats wrong and dont make you feel stupid for not knowing the problem, and my oil change and new breaks were put in my car very quickly. Im the owner of Private Chauffeur Limousines, Ive been going to these guys for years. They always take good care of me, and my limousines. If you have questions about your vehicles these guys will always have a good answer. I have been amazed from the professionalism they have displayed in regards to my Limousines. The owners, Jason & Rocky walked me through their recommendations and provided solid reasons why I should (or shouldnt) fix certain parts. Per their recommendations, I ended up replacing the front exhaust pipes and adding dual mufflers with modifications. This was exactly what I was expecting prior to driving in. They had the work done in about an hour and I was on my way. Sometimes it can take a little longer, and cost a little more, but quality has its price. I always bring my cars to these guys when I need some intense mechanic work done. I had an issue with check engine light, and had tried over a month to get it figured out, I got tired of getting the run around and took the Cadillac Limousine to Rocky. He ordered special filters from Cadillac and what do you know problem solved. I want to spread out big props to the Mechanics working at Midas, they really care and do a good job, very good mechanics!!!!. I want to tell you about my large limousine, it was having issues with exhaust leaks since I bought it. I brought the limousine in a night before they worked on it, I left limo and put keys in drop box. The next day I got a call from Rocky, he told me the pipes under that limousine are 25 feet of piping, and they are pretty rusted. I knew I would need to change them sooner or later, so I said to Rocky lets do it! 25 feet of pipes installed and complete in less than 2 hours. Awesome!! 👎Wont ever update me on the status of my vehicle. just once every other day would have been nice. #communication.7-1/2 weeks is a long time to do an engine swap even on a 1987.👍The engine runs beautifully the new clutch and master clutch cylinder works great.Let me barrow there shop car during most of the work transpired.All said and dun I am pleased with the work and I understand that my truck was a challenge.Thanks for the new engine and work that was done on Black Betty!!

I love the environment! You walk right in they have a smile on their face and greet ya. I had my racing exhaust done here and I love it. Now im getting the suppressor taken off by these guys. The prices are resonable. They do a hell of a job and they work efficiently. 5 stars from me!
These guys replaced my brake calipers around October of 2016. Flash forward to August 2017, I am in a Midas in Augusta Georgia with a broken caliper. I called the Midas guys from Watertown and not only did these gentlemen forward all the warranty paperwork for me, they also covered the replacement. They are simply the best and most friendly shop in Watertown. I cannot recommend them enough. Especially Rocky the owner/manager who will do his absolute best to help you.
Great service. Had brakes done on the front of my car. Fast service, free WiFi, and very friendly. Brakes feel great and sound even better. Would recommend and will come back.
The fuel pump on my truck died and I had to have my truck towed from the side of the road. I had it towed to Midas and they verified it was indeed my fuel pump. They replaced the fuel pump June 2016. Since then I have had issues with the fuel sender (gauge) not working properly and the truck not taking fuel at a reasonable rate (barely trickles into the tank). I have taken it back for both issues, they fixed the fuel sender (it now registers but moves very slowly after filling) and claimed that there was nothing that they did that would cause the fuel not to flow into the tank at a normal rate. I have been unable to find the issue and am now looking at replacing the $900 fuel tank because it still will not take gas.

I had our van inspected using a free coupon Id received from another company very close to Fort Drum and they told me it failed inspection and needed almost $4000 worth of work just to pass...I was shocked and didnt know what we were going to do because that is just a crazy amount of money. A friend recommended I contact Midas just to get a second opinion as it couldnt hurt. I called Midas yesterday afternoon and they saw me first thing this morning. Midas had their tech do a complete inspection and amazingly it wasnt nearly as bad as the first rotten place said. Yes, indeed, we did still need work done but not anywhere near the ridiculous cost or issues of the original place. Midas took care of what was needed right away and we plan on returning to get the rest of the work done soon. Thank you so much for taking great care of us and our son had a great time hanging out driving his toys around the floor and coloring while we waited. You all are wonderful!!!

Midas diagnosed our issue with our truck in less than an hour after putting over $700 into it elsewhere and the issue never being fixed. They had our vehicle fixed within three hours of initially calling. They have been nothing but professional and respectful! We will continue to being both of our vehicles back to Midas in Watertown, NY!

Was in the middle of a vacation while in Watertown and heard a rattling coming from my hood. Called this location, spoke to Rocky, who was able to get me in later in the day to check it out. The AC compressor needed to be replaced and the part was coming in the next day. Luckily I was still in Watertown for another night. They gave me times the car would be fixed: whether I left it there overnight (ready by 3pm), or if I brought it back the next day (ready by 6pm). Chose the first option and got the call next day by 2:30 that the car was ready. Many thanks to the staff here for the great work in getting my car back in service in what was a tough situation while trying to enjoy a vacation.
Ive seen a lot of shops not have a clue how to fix a car as soon as theres a problem that doesnt involve the oil or brakes and this is not one of those shops. Youll get an accurate assesment, a fair price and well executed serice at Midas.

Ive dealt with midas a few times now for both my truck and my wifes car. We have been screwed by other mechanics just trying to make a quick dollar and not doing quality work. The work that midas does is of the highest quality and they are able to get you in fairly quickly if you walk in. Me and my wife werent able to spend 900 for some work on both her car and my truck and they worked with us to do a payment plan. Midas will be the only place that I take me or my wifes vechicles from here on out.

This place is absolute garbage. Rookie mechanics is an over statement. If I could review as half a star I would. Anyways, got back from Afghanistan looking for someone to change a (whining) power steering pump in my 06 Silverado 2500hd. Midas tried to tell me it was the pump, lines and hydroboost. I tell them no I think its the pump. After them agreeing to replace the pump the truck whined worse. It also developed a power steering leak. I took the truck to Countrymans garage and they told me the new pump was bad. After multiple fights with Midas (owner) they finally decided the truck had a bad pump. After replacing the pump the truck still whined but didnt leak. I got scammed $500, oh and I still have the truck...just replaced the chinese pos pump they put in the second time (year and a half later, if they even changed anything) because the pumps pulley was shot along with the pump shaft. It chewed brand new belts right off my truck. Moral of the story is I bought a AcDelco pump replaced the pos pump. Guess what? No more whine and belts are fine. I spent $170-180 for parts and...did the work in 1/3rd of the time as these incompetent knuckleheads.
Dont take your vehicle here to get inspected! They will nit pick everything trying to get you to have them fix it. I had a very small leak and some fluid had gotten onto the back of the rotor cover, not even on the rotor itself and they failed it because i didnt want them to fix it. Dont get an inspection here!
Literally, the most kind people youll ever meet. They are so patient with any question you have and they keep this place clean! Ive never had any issues with them at all and Ive been coming here for years. Rocky and his brother are the real deal!

This place is GARBAGE!!!! They will NOT stand behind their work. EXAMPLE: If you buy an aftermarket exhaust and the warranty is for 30 days and on the 31st day your muffler falls off because of crappy welding and installation they will not cover it. I would not let these guys put air in my tires. Stay away Fort Drum Soldiers!!!!

Only go here if you like cob job work and enjoy your car being damaged to try to force you to return a friend of mine went here to get work done on their car and the shift cables where left unattached the injectors in a new engin where clogged it now leaks oil like crazy the motor mount is weak and missing bolts and they snapped an ac line every time the car is looked at now a new problem is found

2022-03-16Great service with HONEST mechanics and staff. I sent a friend in with a bad tire. They could have easily sold him a whole new tire and charged him for the labor and service, or said that they patched the tire and charged him for that. Instead they checked out the old tire figured out it just lost the seal after going in the ditch. They fixed the seal and got the car back up and running at no extra cost, and since it was there anyway my friend decided to have them do an oil change as well. Unparalleled service and peace of mind.

2021-12-21We came to Midas after their neighbor business, Monro, said there were numerous things wrong with out vehicle. Midas did an inspection, and all they reported back was some tire wear. They did not force or pressure us to buy new tires. We did end up ordering 4 and booking an alignment because they had great prices. Great service, fair, do not scam. Well be returning here for our vehicle needs.

2022-04-04Came in because of a small rattle coming from the exhaust, turned out to be a heat shield that had gotten knocked around. They squared it up and sent me on my way. Very professional and a great clean facility. 10/10 would recommend

I’m new here in town He took care of me ASAP! and made sure everything on my 04 Camry was inspected properly and not only did he do that… Rocky and his team let me drive one of their loner cars so i can still make it to work the next day on time! While they fixed my gasket, my carburetor, exhaust manifolds, and my O2 sensors and more!. Never seen such a fair exchange and good quality service in this auto business like these guys do!👍🏽 Definitely highly recommend Rocky and his team at the Middas auto service!.

2021-10-05Took my car there about 5 months ago to get it inspected. I don’t know much about cars but did know my brakes were bad. They failed my inspection because of my rear brakes so naturally I made an appointment that week to get them fixed there. I was charged OVER 800 dollars for my rear brakes and rotors and this was a hard price with no discounts offered. Once again I know nothing about cars so didn’t know if this was a good deal or not. I am not getting my front brakes and rotors replaced at a different location and I was just charged 500 dollars. Would not recommend Midas to anyone unless money is of no concern to you

2022-05-03Literally the nicest group of guys I have ever seen, the chain on my electric bike was messed up and I personally had no idea how to fix it, I swung over to midas thinking they could help me, not only did they help me get my chain back on, they also filled up my tires, and tightened my seat, they were all so genuinely kind and super helpful, shout out to the guys at midas
