This has become my church home for about the last 6 years. EVERYONE is welcome here.Fire and brimstone, your going to h@&& if u do/dont do ABCD is not preached here. We have a female pastor that preaches nothing but LOVE. PERIODArt and music is combined with the sermon to make this a unique way of receiving Gods word twice on Sundays (930a and 1145a service)The church is very involved with the community, and the political goings on of the world (help in PR after the storm, helped those affected in super storm Sandy etc)The Gospel Choir is multi-Culti (made up of different races and cultures) and the Children are involved in service from time to time.Spring to early Fall a group will go out to feed the homeless in the parks in the area. There is just so much h going on within this church, to much to mention here.So if ur looking for a church filled with a mixture of multi cultural people that accepts all for who they are as they come through the door this would be the church for u.
2 Google reviews have been posted that are biased against Dr. Jacqueline Lewis because the writers are biased against women and/or black ministers. They falsely claim in their prejudiced 1 ⭐️ reviews that she is not in the Collegiate tradition and twists the Bible to her own purposes. The strength of the Collegiate Church is the diversity of views of its ministry, which is consistent with the overall Christian religion. After all there are 4 different gospels all telling different interpretations of much the same story about the life of Christ. So it seems these two male reviewers have a fraudulent viewpoint inspired by Satan because Jackie received her masters degree from Princeton Theological Seminary and then got her PhD in religion from Drew University and lectures frequently at leading US seminaries about her expertise in interpreting the Bible regarding social change and justice. Isn’t that ultimately one of the major reasons Christ died on the Cross and was born again?

2018-01-11My home away from home. I hated going to church bc of closed minded old fashioned ways of religion. This church is more spiritual. Open armed and accepting--and its genuine. Ive seen other churches with open armed methods but it feels fake and forced. You can feel the sincerity of love and acceptance here. I wouldnt give that up for the world. If you come, just take a look around. We ARE the world. Tired, weak , huddled masses, seekers of truth, longing to be loved, wanting to share our love, willing to fight for all, believers in equality and justice. This is what and how the world should be.Come on in! The love is amazing!

2019-05-15This is such an awesome, welcoming, beautiful space. The staff, the congregants, the leaders - really awesome worship experience. I have heard two of the ministers, Jackie and Amanda, and they both rocked it.

2018-12-25Although I have never physically visited this house of worship, I was so inspired and uplifted watching the presentation on KYW (Channel 3 in Philadelphia). I could feel the presence of LOVE coming from the Tv into my bedroom. On my next trip to New York, I would love to experience first hand. Happy Holidays!

2018-12-25As I finished watching the news on comes this Christmas Eve service. This Is the first I have heard of them in my time of need. I have lost 2 sisters in the past year and another one was admitted to the hospital today. She is not in a Good place. The sermon and song shared with me touched my heart and reminded me that today of all days if prayers lifted they will be heard. Thank you for the blessing of the glory of faith. God Bless and please pray for me and my sister Shirley. In the name of Jesus I pray. Your child Robyn
