Got a bit of a run around. Verbally agreed to a car at a price, only $500 under the online listing value. Then when I couldn’t make it back to the dealership in 1 day, they told me they sold the car to somebody else. No offer to get me back in to find a car- just a “you lost out!”...Needless to say, I found a better car at a better place in the same area. Do your research. If you see bad reviews, stay away. If you see “family owned and run for years” go check them out.
My experience with Middle Village Motors was awful. Picking a car was the easy part because I researched inventory online and looked up each car on consumer reports and Kelley bluebook. The lots are situated across the street from one another on a very busy road and there are no restrooms. There is one salesman for both lots and if he is busy which he was the three times he made us come back, youll literally wait for days. Finally we test drove a few cars and narrowed the options down. My credit is less then perfect but we were promised this wouldnt be an issue. The car I chose was 8,995. On Kelley blue book its value was at its highest 6,000 so I figured there was room for negotiation. After all the numbers were run and the bank approved loan I was given the numbers. EJ came down to 8500 and with 3000 down plus 1500 for an older trade in the monthly fee was just under 300 for the month for 48 months. Do the math, thats over 17,000 dollars for an 8500$ factory base car, fabric seats, no special features, no back up camera!!! I leased a brand new car for less!!! This wasnt doable but since we were hard up for a car we were going to purchase a car they had on the lot for 5,000 in cash to avoid financing. I told the saleman (EJ) that 17,000 was just too high and that we would like to buy the 5,000$ jeep on the lot outright that day, right then and there. EJ had us wait and wait. He took other customers ahead of us even though we had an apt. We were made to wait 2 hours and were never helped with the car. We spoke with the manager as well and once he heard buy outright his tone was different as well. They completely refused to sell the jeep we wanted. We left and with the worst taste in our mouths. The 2nd manager was called and he promised he knew nothing that took place and that we should return. After 4 visits to the lot and an immense amount of headache we did not go back. While we were there waiting the countless hours the 4 times we were there we saw many people test drive, speak with EJ about many many cars and leave. All these cars are still posted online and are in the lot til this day. Its obvious we arent the only ones that were dooped.
My boyfriend purchased a 2007 Nissan Maxima here back in July 2017. Robert assured us that he sells good cars and all of his cars are clean. If we have any issues to bring the car back and he will take care of anything. Well fast forward to 2 weeks after having the car, the car begins to lose power steering fluid rapidly. My boyfriend brings the car back to Robert and he only patches it up by just adding powering steering fluid and changed the wheel bearings. okay. Cool. Then that same weekend, we take the car to have a wheel alignment done at at private auto mechanic because the car would shake at a speed of 50 mph on the hwy, but the job could not be complete because the whole racks and pinion needed to be replaced. We contacted Robert and he was adamant that the mechanic did not know what he was talking about and did not want to fix it because the job itself would cost more than the down payment that was made. However, Robert had his mechanic change the breaks out and put new rotors in the front. Knowing the car was under a warranty he wanted to just patch up the most least things as possible so he wouldnt have to take the much of a loss with his deal. Now here we are 4 months later and the cars battery completely went out because of the alternator draining the battery. Having knowledge of purchasing a used car, we were not expecting it to have all the bells and whistles however, the amount of issues he has experienced with this car is ridiculous. There is no reason why he should have to put close to $700 of his own money into a car he just bought 4 months ago. We certainly will not be recommending anyone to this dealership.
I wish I could get zero stars to this dealership. As soon as I bought the car it had problems with engine. I drove one mile the engine light came on. I called them to return the car and they wouldnt take it. Had to take the car to BMW to fix it. They promise me good car and that never happened, also they promised me extended warranty and that didnt happened. Please save your money and go somewhere else. Once you leave the car is your problem and trust me has a lot of issues. I have to make payments for 5 yrs and keep fixing it. Only have the car for 5 months and Im thinking to get rid of it and get something else somewhere else never there again. By the way they screw you with interest rate and taxes Over $5K????
I was recommended by Pace Tire Pros and I cant be happier. I wrote to them and told them my requirements and when I got there they showed me ONLY what would be good for me.They treated me like a Queen. I highly recommend seeing Elvin and Ray and they will steer you in the right direction!!
Ray the owner has been there over 20 years and the reason being is obvious. True most of his cars have alot of miles but some no more than then an average of 8 to 10 thousand a year. True the cars he sells are between 4 and 12 years old and maybe reconditioned, but every car i have bought or family members or friends have always been descent cars. He gives the normal warranty based on mileage and if something should go wrong right after the warranty is up just come on in with the car he will take care of it. So like I said before, the reason is obvious. If you want a good second car, or cant afford a newer one, give Middle Village Motors a try, my family and friends have never been truly disappointed.
Great experience with Ray, didnt push me to buy anything i wasnt asking for & answered all my questions with ease. Treated me more than just a customer. Bought my 1st car & drove out of there all with all my paperwork within an hour. In other words, id recommend this place to anyone.
Very good selection of cars bought a 2006 Volvo no problems best car I ever owned ray the owner a real honest person his cars are all hand picked by him low mileage creampuffs I could not make up my mind on his fantastic selection strongly recommend this place for a used car best in queens love my Volvo thank you middle village motors
These people are the worst thieves that can exist, they deceive you, they offer you a guarantee that they do not fulfill and then they end up wasting you time and money because their cars are in very bad condition, they only have them washed and clean but the mechanics are very bad

2021-11-20I am very pleased that Ray and his company were able to accommodate my son on his first new car! Everything we saw that needed to be taken care of with the car Ray made sure it was done! I will tell anyone looking to purchase a used car and wants an honest and accommodating dealer to go to Middle Village Motors and ask for Ray! My son is thrilled, but the main reason as parents, he has a safe and dependable vehicle! Thanks again

2022-05-16Bought my first car from here a 2014 nissan maxima so far so good, good car, car runs as it should. only HAD very small issues so far like bad fog light or brake rotors and they have been able to get it fixed as promised with warranty even when my warranty had already ended and what i needed wasnt covered by warranty ray found a way to help me out. good people good business. my girlfriend had got her car from there aswell and it is good so far i would recommend. what people don’t understand is when you buy a car from a used dealership its also how to take care of it when u leave with it. quick to blame the business but never look at maybe you driving it bad or some idk but my purchase went smooth i got there early and was out in about an hour.👍👍👍

2022-04-15If I could give NO STARS I would!! I am in complete disgust of this place. Walk around raving about how great of a family business they are and they take care of their customers. The worst experience I ever had. One day after I bought my vehicle from them the check engine went on gave it to them to fix THREE times with no success. Then they give you the run around and no one has phone numbers of where the cars are being service or what is even being done to them. Complete disgrace. Super disappointed.

2021-06-17My mother was in the market for a car because her current vehicle was on the way out. She had a Nissan Maxima 2002 SE that did serve her well but it was time to let go. I liked the car myself but even I could see the writing on the wall so to speak. So I started looking for a car for my mother and to be quite honest it did not take long at all. I had already used a multitude of car sites when I was looking for a car. I wound up settling on a Nissan 350z 08. The website I used is Car Gurus which I would recommend to anyone as well. So my mother was open minded to a Hyundai Elantra or a Toyota Corolla and lo and behold I found one here at Middle Village Motors.Me and my mother went back and forth with the people working there and we finally got an out the door price that my mother was satisfied with. We did a little haggling and worked out a price on the trade in which was fair to both parties and as of today we left with the car.We thoroughly examined the car checking for codes, doing a battery and alternator test as well and everything was on the up and up. The owner Ray, his brother Mike and the sales rep Elvin all treated us very well. Some of the fees were waved as well so you cannot argue with that either. We like to help out and support small business in the neighborhood and to be honest I would feel comfortable letting people know this place you can trust. Of course with my mother she had her own financing which is something I highly recommend anyone does because it keeps the car buying process less complicated.Anyway give it a shot and check the place out. Thank you Ray, Mike and Elvin.

2021-10-30Ray, Elvin and Anthony are great! Theyre honest and not pushy. They let you take as many test drives as you want. Had a great experience driving the vehicle right off the lot because they sort out dmv, plate transfer and registration! No hassles going to dmv!
