It just sucks. The room I booked has a single window (very dirty) that does not open. The air conditioning is entrusted to a very dirty little conditioner. Bed sheets are not clean and some kitchen utensils are missing. In the bathroom, the toilet has the seat missing some pieces and to take a shower you have to stay in the dark. Finally, a safety deposit box is missing. It is useless to ask for something at the reception since those who deal with it are always absent even during opening hours. I lay a veil on the laundry room where dirt and insects reign. I am surprised that such a squalid structure is present on booking.
Apart from the location of the hotel, we were extremely disappointed with this hotel. the photos published on their site correspond to the apartments (which have an apartment only the name since it is actually a single room for 5) but with 10 years more that is to say that the paint is peeling, the cooktop is not complete, the bathroom is wet and smelly, the toilet does not work, the curtains are heavy and opaque dust etc. not to mention the dresser placed so close to the bed that we can not open the drawers a single closet where the suitcases do not fit, 1 coat holder each (fortunately we did not come in winter with coats!) , the dining table is stuck to the wall and so small that you have to shake for lunch, there are only 4 stools for 5, 1 pan and no dish, 5 place settings and no more, 1 towel toilet each for the whole week and no bath mat. In addition, the entire hotel is poorly maintained, from the entrance to the hallways. And if, at the time of departure, you wish to leave a suitcase in luggage to end the day quiet, know that it will cost you 7 dollars per bag, from hand to hand! Quite frankly, I do not recommend this property.
The photographs I see do not correspond to reality. We ended up in a room with no windows with malfunctioning heating screaming of people awful staff horrible kitchen bathroom unusable the hallway of the hotel looks like horror movies and absolutely not clean horrid place. Nothing but three stars does not reach a star. Shame
This establishment does not deserve a star but we can not put less!When we arrived at this establishment, the reception at the reception was deplorable (a man who ate his MC without smiling, without welcoming us or anything)! But at that time, we did not know that the worst was yet to come! (The attached photos can give you a taste of our misfortune ...).the corridors are not maintained, nor the common parts. Direction 8th floor, door 862 and there we open the door, happy to finally return after a long trip of more than 8 hours. I turn around and see a huge cockroach on the floor. In the bathroom, the bathtub is infested with cockroaches, the insalubrity prevails. Lacking, we try somehow to sleep. Upon awakening, a cockroach rises the mirror of the cabinet at full speed. The shower tub is clogged, what about hot water? nonexistent! I see a beast in the bathtub, I thought it was a cockroach. As I approach, I realize that this is a bed bug, the nightmare! by lifting the mattresses, indeed there were traces of blood from these bugs. Thats what made us take our bags and go down to see the person who runs the establishment.We explain the problem to him, show him the pictures. He pretended to be surprised to see that. He was looking at his computer (or his phone), I turn his head to wait and I see a HUGE cockroach dead, I told him to come see and it seems once again very surprised (note anyway the aerosol BAYGON anti-cockroach sitting behind his desk ...).I have never faced so much casualness and lack of hygiene and bad faith. We took our bags and took a hotel.In addition, this property has tried to redeem my credit card several times. I strongly recommend this property and privilege a hotel to avoid this kind of situation, where the sense of service does not exist.
Relamente I was a little worried about the bad grades to the place, but it really was not bad I found a nice place the room very clean and newly remodeled, the only serious complaint that they were building and the morning started with a lot of noise, but it is very good location 2 min walk from the empire state. I recommend it x the location price and nice room.
Perfectly located. Near 5th and 34th, around the Empire. It is what you see in the photo. Problems: do not change the towels or clean or replace the toilet paper despite casing. This is more serious and decides my two stars: in January, the shower water comes out between warm and cold and despite having claimed every day and having offered to pay the difference for another room with hot water, I had no answers. Regrettable
The hotel of horrors at some point from what it sucked I started laughing so as not to cry. 800 euros thrown away with the same amount found much better. Absent and uncaring staff.
Scary, dirty, the photos are not what they are, the dirty walls, the tiny bathroom, I found a cockroach in the refrigerator, they do not change the towels or clean the room, really, 2000 dollars for a week, there are similar and much better options , look for something else

2022-01-21SCAM, BEWARE!We had a reservation for April 2020, by mutual agreement we canceled it and they would leave the money on account for another reservation. THEY NEVER ANSWERED US.

2020-08-19I went with my parents in August 2019, we got one room with mattresses on the floor. I was surprised to see we got a tiny kitchenette complete with refrigerator. The view was nothing special as our window faced the inside of a four-walled gap in the building. The TV did not work unfortunately but who needs TV when youre on vacation?I think that relative to the city, the location is good and it was about a 20 minute walk to get to Times Square. But, as is New York Citys wont in the summer, it smelled like sewage just outside the building due to the heat but luckily not inside. Many people would gather by the entrance to smoke together, which I didnt really enjoy as we entered and exited. No issues with staff or anything which I think would matter more. Various places to grab some food as well.Overall did not have any issues with the place, it is not the most luxurious like a DoubleTree or anything but we were outside most of the time so it does not matter to me.

2017-04-05I stayed in the deluxe suite and it was dirty. They charge a $50 cleaning fee however the place was not clean. I had to purchase sheets for the beds because the sheets provided were stained. I packed my own personal towels and Im glad I did because they too were stained. The pictures on the website are not accurate, they make the room seem a bit larger than what it truly is. The location is the best thing about this place. If they cleaned it thoroughly or put a fresh coat of paint on the walls it wouldnt be that bad of a stay. I would also suggest smaller furniture for the living space/kitchenette/bathroom.

2020-07-01DO NOT BOOK! They have all sorts of sketchy name for this place! On booking.com they are call The Suite New York they can also be found under The Suite at Central NY. Communication was the worst part about this place. they will take your money and never contact you back for a long time. They refuse to accommodate with anything. Response from them are at most two sentences. They dont care about your well being or your time there, they just want your money. Place is in an awful location, lots of constructions. Place and service are not good. WILL NEVER BOOK AGAIN!

2018-04-04Avoid this place. Very dodgy and overpriced for what you can find within the same radius. We were booked for 7 nights, stayed one and left the next day - not even there for 12 hours. We arrived to no bath towels, uncomfortable bed, a hole burnt though in the microwave door, very limited kitchen facilities, dodgy elevators, no fire sprinklers throught the whole building, one of the rooms our travelling companions had didnt even have a fire alarm, if the place burnt down youd go with it as it felt that unsafe, management were rude and unhelpful, mould in showers, tepid water at best you get out of the shower, unable to control temperature in the room - it was hot or hot, floaties in the water out of the sink tap so you couldnt even make a coffee, bed sheets were stained, noisy neighbours, windows held in with tape, tv did not work, bathroom was that small you couldnt dry yourself in it. We paid over $4k for 2 rooms, got a better price and much nicer rooms around the corner. Money we wont get back unfortunately, but at least we feel safer and more comfortable.

2019-03-11This hotel shares the building with 6 other companies, all operating under different names, and offering their own rooms. While I made my reservation with one of them, I can only assume the rest have equally terrible customer service & booking experience. The front desk is only open for 1 hour during check-in, forcing everyone to overcrowd the lobby & cause most to have to deal with after-hours check-in. This is handled by a single doorman who still sits at the front desk & manages all 7 companies keys.When checking in, I discovered that the key to my room did not even function properly. I could not enter the room. When I brought this up with the doorman, he told me to wait, and continued helping the 5 other parties. Because of the no-refund policy, the company vehemently opposed my request for a refund, despite the fact that I could not even set foot inside. Absolutely avoid this address & every company that operates out of it.

2019-01-15A real nightmare this place...very very dirty, no service, no wifi in the room, very very noisy especially with people living there all the time...just one lavatory for all the floor, no mirror in the bathroon, no soap, no hook To tie your things in the shower, no flat and staff very unwelcoming and the only excuse for problems is we are not an hôtel. I travel a lot and Ive never Seen this before in my life. Run away

2020-07-28This was the second time staying here. My only remark which made me give 4 stars is no wifi internet!!! This is for me a big no no. This should be an amenity like microwave. I missed a very important meeting because of this little detail.

2018-06-11BED BUGS!!!!!!! Istayed in the hotel from Wed ,June 6th till Sun ,June 10th . Everything was fine until Thursday when I found two bed bugs in my bed. The next day I woke up with big red spot on my lower back , bitten by bed bugs . It looked like it got infected. Since that day i couldnt get a good night sleep at all , thinking that i have bugs in my bed. I couldnt enjoy my trip and I was in pain the whole time since the infection in my back was getting bigger and bigger.Not only that but when I got back home I found two bed bugs in my suit case. Now i have to trow away all.Also when i spoke with the manager she said we brought the bed bugs!!! Imagine that
