Wonderful spot with consistent food experience. Food is a bit more than you’d usually pay and quantity is not as much but the it tastes great. You’ll experience a calm chill vibe here and they also got alcohol for those type of nights. Also they have the best milkshakes in the Bronx.
Easily the best fast casual burger in the city with a vibrant menu and a pretty good local beer list (though adding Other Half would be primo). This is shake shack in my photos. Think of a juicy burger with actual tomatoes, a 1/4 lb of meat cooked to perfection on a potato bun with dressings and combos that are perfect. That is Milk Burger. And is *not* Shake Shack.
Discovered this place being lost in the Bronx. Went in and the smell of fresh food hit me. Ordered their cheeseburger with Cajun fries and o rings. Onion rings are thick and hot and crispy. Fries had a little heat for the amount of the Cajun seasoning which was perfect. The burger was delicious. That henny colada tho 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾Everything was so tasty already planning to come back.
Food was decent for the price. Portions were small. We had the Sriracha Burger, Buffalo Wings and Milk Burger. Burgers dont include fries so you pay for your side separately.. I did love the Sriracha aioli though. Its a small place off the willisbridge. Good service, just the food could be a bit bigger for the asking price
I was walking by and the look of the place was reassuring. Very nice interior and menu with mostly beef burgers but there is one Portobello burger for vegetarians. I ordered Turkey burger which was very good. There is also a bar with all kinds of drinks.Bronx brewery was prominently represented
Now thats what I call a bite!! love the vibe here, very hip and modern, with excellent options that you dont regularly find at your regular fast food place.I got the truffle fries, and milk burger with an egg, prices are a little more than I expected, but worth every cent.
Amazing every single time! Ive been going here since this place opened up and the taste still excites me! They are renewing their liquor license so you currently cant get an adult drink with your food. And to be honest I didnt go there for that. With the bar taken out there is much more space their! I love everything about this restaurant and I highly recommend going there!
Great local restaurant. The team has always been super pleasant and are always trying to evolve their offerings to please diners! The first time I visited, the kitchen team offered all of the diners in the restaurants a trial of falafel that they were considering adding to the menu (it was delicious!). When I went in July 2019, I tried a different burger, which was also great, and experienced the same hospitality. The (maybe manager?) heard me mention “beer” to my partner, and started citing all of the beer selections he/they had just added, included a lot of local stuff like KCBC and Bronx Brewery, and one of my summer favorites: Montauk Watermelon ale (who doesn’t love a montauk watermelon?).I tried the goat cheese burger and the burger with the fried egg, which I added onions to. They were so yummy! Oddly enough, because I am generally against American cheese, the classic milk burger that my partner ordered twice was a strong contender for favorite both times! Try them all if you can. Also, the sweet potato fries are dope. Ask for the signature milk sauce on the side ;)
Came to eat here after a long day at the Prospect Park Zoo. Our group was hungry for a burger and we found this burger joint. The burgers were amazing and we kept talking about the cheese fries. The sweet potato fries were great as well. If you’re looking for a great tasting burger and fries, give Milk Burger a try.
One of my absolute favorite places to eat! I hope they open a location is queens however, until then I will continue to make the trip. The food is always fresh and deliciously consistent. My favorites are the bacon cheese burgers. Cheese fries, Cajun wings and the grilled chicken salad however, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Enjoy! You’re welcome. = )
Customer service and the outside picnic table was the only thing worth it. As for the for food and drinks that was upsetting. We order strawberry lemonade was flavorless and no fresh strawberries in it. Lemon pepper chicken wings were dry ( they should be ashamed saying there are). Burger presentation on point and that’s about it. Bland taste not to mention the tiny patties. Truffle fries tasted like regular fries. Onion rings was good. It felt we ate substance without flavor and for spending over 80 bucks it should had been a better experience. Maybe it was a off day for them but definitely first and last time for us. If you decide to go after reading this make sure you bring adobo/sazon packets with you.
We were passing this place when we saw the advertisement for Henny Colada so my dad and I decided to check it out. They dont have a parking lot but I got a park right out front which I was greatful for. My dad got the Henny Colada and the Sriracha burger. I got the Milk burger, Buffalo wings (sauce on the side) and an Oreo shake. I have to be honest.... everything was perfect! I didnt have a single complaint and Im a foodie! The burger was juicy and flavorful. Dad loved the Henny Colada (I couldnt get any because I was the driver). The orea shake was soooo good and the wings was fried chrispy just the way I like it. There were 2 workers who was friendly and attentive to how I wanted my burger. There were also another guy there, maybe the owner... he was really nice. Concerned about our needs and asking how the food was. I forgot to get a gingerale and he got it for me before I can make it to the counter. Talk about quick service! I like this place. I like the people. Dad and I will be back with the rest of our family!
I placed an order on their online website. The food was not bad but its all hype. The burger was $10+ with no fries. The cheese fries were $5+. I will not order from them again, my burgers at home are so much better. The meat in the burger is so small but full. I would suggest making the patty flatter. It was so fat, the middle was pink. Also, the fries..... seems like they forgot to add salt so they waited until the cheese melted on-top to add the salt. So they were salty as hell.
I LOVE IT HERE!!! I Always passed this spot when I ride bike in the area to Randalls island park and today I was blessed to share some great vibes with Eric and my girls. I definitely recommend Milk Burger whenever anyone is in the brucker area. Makes me happy to see the growth in this area. THANK YOU for having such good food, great drinks and positive vibes. Im all about the great vibes. You will see me here often xoxo. God bless🙌
Ive had their food pre-pandemic so I know the food is great. The burgers are tasty, especially the Sriracha burger. Right now they are not ready for dine in service and I wish that was on their website.I went on their website to see if they were having dine in service and it said they were and I had to make a reservation, which I did. When I got there the place was empty except the two gentlemen working. They didnt really want to let us in but they said we could pick one of 3 tables available but we would have to order online because they didnt have any menus. Neither one came to set the table, offer water, utensils, nothing. We ended up getting 2 shots and leaving.
I love this place since the were in 105 n 2 Avenue! Now they are in the bronx when I want to eat something from here I go all the way from 106 ! 😉They have this java drink that I love!it taste so good !!🍸And really recommend the milk burger is so good and juice. I JUST LOVE THE FLAVOR!🍔😍Even tho is small but the taste is so good so is worth it!
They are soon bad dont ever go there their burgers are so small for the price that they are. My sweet potatoes fries w were fried to hard and taste more burnt than anything however the milk shake was really really good but I live in Brooklyn and wont be traveling to the Bronx just for a milkshake. Hope this helped.
Are we kidding?? Found this magnificent eatery off the beaten track at 148 Bruckner Blvd - Milk Burger!! Fantastic food, cakes, shakes, you name it. Ample portions to go (due to covid,of course) with a touch and flair fitting high end bistros. So proud of the hardworking people there. The gentrified community clearly loves and supports them. Cant wait to return and introduce to family and friends. Great spot!!
First time stopping by. I only got a shake for now and let me say😌😌😌. It’s Amazinggggggggggggggggggggg I got an adult shake🤤 Cocotaso. It was soOo good I wish it came in a bigger size. Next, I have to try their burgers. Customer service A1 and it was nice and clean in there, good music💅🏾 That’s a plus.
My experience at this place was actually fantastic, the decor was very modern and appealing to the eyes right away despite being a moderately small place. I ordered the guac burger and it was pretty delicious. I also had the cheese fries and the black/white milkshake and they didnt disappoint. Food came pretty quick as well, only thing is that it was a little pricey but they executed the food pretty well so the quality made up for it. Definitely will visit again!
Never had to post a review, but I would not recommend milk burger to anyone. For a 20.00 meal this shouldve been much better. burger was average at best, they used the same potato buns you can buy in the grocery store, truffle fries were not that good , over seasoned, and they were crinkle cut, Again the food is okay but for the price they charge its not worth it. I have no issue paying 20.00 for quality food but this meal was below standards and I probably will not be going back there for lunch again.
I ordered the burger with the egg on top, amazing!!! It was right before close so I’m glad they took me. I knew it was going to be a min so I told a black young male with glasses (sorry I didn’t get his name) that I’m going to wait in my car. He replied the black wrangler!? I said yes I’ll be back. He said don’t even worry about it I’ll bring out to the car for you. A few mins later he was running out with my order in his hand. Great service and good people!!!!!
I’ve travelled here so many time, I’ve lost count. Hands down, fantastic burgers and service. There’s nothing hipster about this place. If think it is, I challenge you to travel to Brooklyn and have a few meals. Then, tell me what you think. Yes, can get a cheaper deli burger and it’s taste is trash compared to the quality of burger you can get here. Milk Burger, great job.
If youre a burger lover...This. Is. Your. Spot!!!!! Food is FANTASTIC!!! Staff is super pleasant!!!! Those sweet potatoes fries will have you smack ya grandmother for no apparent reason! That didnt even make sense but, thats how good they are! A little on the small side in regards to space, but overall...lovely little gem located in the Bronx. Im definitely going back!
Fisrt time there, great experience. Staff Eric and Cathrine are awesome and inviting. You can tell the meat is fresh and not frozen! So good. Jalapeno burger! Delish... and I dont even like mushrooms and the Mushroom burger was on point! Cant wait to go back! Oh yeah, dont forget them spicy fries!
My favorite food is burgers! So younbetter believe milk burger is my favorite spot. Since they were in Harlem I fell in love with the inmense flavor and the amazing service of this spot. Now that they are in the Bronx is even better. All their combinations are amazing and the vibe of the place is all positive. I love milk burger and would recommend you to try it. Im also in love with their mint lemonade. Such a gem of a restaurant.
I stopped by after driving by often during my commutes. Nothing really outstanding. The sweet potatoes fries were overwhelmingly seasoned and salted, fully masking their taste. The burger was alright, the buns are low quality, very porous, making them soggy immediately with the ingredients, and the patties overly salted. No, really nothing extraordinary.
Sorely disappointed with quality of the portebello burger. Fast food quality at artisanal prices. If I had paid $5, I would have been very satisfied. But at $11, I dont expect a small basic bun and garden variety veggies. I really wanted this to be an amazing but...... Counterstaff is friendly and well stocked bar though
I walked past this place all summer long going to the bronx randalls island connector and i kept saying i should stop in. Finally did and i was not disappointed. Had the portebello burger with sweet potato fries and it was a real good. Wife had the fish sandwich and cheese fries, she loved it. Found out theres a happy hour 3-7, mon-fri so i will be back to see how that goes. Passionate owner.
Went here recently with friends and wasnt too impressed. Burgers and shakes are good but dont come here expecting table service. When we got inside there was only 1 other table which had already been about half way thru eating and deep in conversation. We sat and not one counter person told us that we needed to order and pay before seating. We waited like 5-10 min before someone went to the counter, which we were sitting like 5 feet from.Pricing is fair, dont expect McD or BK prices here. Burgers are thick and cooked to order.Youre looking at spending 15-20 per person here and its worth it.The staffed mixed up 2 milk shake orders and when we had pointed it out instead od making it over they literally just swapped the cups between us. We had both already drank from them... as i said they were slow n really no reason they couldnt have fixed this.Hopefully these guys do well. Hope to see the succeed. Will def try again with what i know now
They are the most consistent burger spot in the Bronx and I would dare say New York. They are one of the only places I can enjoy sweet potato fries at and I love them. They are small and not well known and I am thankful for it because there is never a wait and the burgers are delicious Everytime.
I have been going to this establishment for some time now. I feel the need to write this poor review only on the customer service. As I arrive to the counter to place my order I was not acknowledged another person walked in right behind me and was greeted and the order was placed. When the cashier looked at me she said are you ready now. I said was already ready. She simply replied Im sorry. I only visit this place for the food but this will be my last time here. The customer service needs to be addressed because it left a bad taste in my mouth.
Enjoyed the Milk Burger. A little steep $$ for the old Bronx. But, this area is the new up and coming downtown Bronx. Milk Burger will fit in with the new Clock tower, movie studio, fresh direct crowd. A good Burger and The sweet potatoes are seasoned nice aswell. I had a mojito. Nothing to write home about
Nice medium sized place. Most definitely more space then there Manhattan counterpart. The burger on a potato bun is very reasonable at a price point of 9.50 for a double cheese burger, fries will cost you about $3 bucks for a very Nathans like crispy fry. The fish burger is also on the menu. At 9.50 it has four pieces of deep fried tilapia on a sesame bun. The fish looks like it was over cooked and cut into its abnormal shape by a 3rd grader. But dont let the look of it fool you it is tasty item, not the best but far from the worst.
So I ordered out on my way home..... let me start by saying that the staff gave this place a very friendly aura and the music was upbeat👩🏾🎤💃🏾🎶 Omg the cajun wings were nice and crispy, the spices were just right, the sweet potatoe fries were fresh and crunchy and that oreo milk shake was 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and it had extra oreo chucks 🤤🤤🤤🤤 super intimate place to dine in or eat out..🤗🤗🤗

2022-06-08Too good!!! Fish sandwich was crispy and flavorful. Burger delicious as well!! We also enjoyed the seasoning on the spicy fries. Frozen strawberry lemonade is a must. Not too sweet and the perfect amount of ice. An easy bike ride from the city. We will be back asap.

2022-03-03One of the best turkey burgers I’ve ever had! Incredibly well seasoned, large portions, decent price. The Henny-colados and shakes looked really good but i was too stuffed to get anything else! Atmosphere & decor was very relaxed.

2021-08-10Quality burger in NYC, which is surprisingly rare compared to other cities. The Milk Burger had a great sauce and was complimented by the onion rings and sweet potato fries.

2019-10-19My friends and I got the chicken sandwich, turkey burger, and milk burger. They were all great. Don’t be fooled by the size, they very meaty. The beef burger was absolutely delicious. It was seasoned to perfection and the beef tasted fresh. Perfectly cooked. The only downside was the fries. Absolute garbage. Besides that, the ambience was great and the service was even better. Will be returning soon.

2018-09-16Nice hidden gem in the Bronx. The mushroom burger was cooked to perfection and the sweet potato fries were cooked with a light crisp and full of flavor. Staff is very welcoming and warm. We also tried the hot wings and fries. Compared to upper west side of the city the prices are very reasonable. Definitely going back again.

2017-02-28Nice little burger spot!! I had the double Milk burger and it did not disappoint. The burgers are not anything to crazy theyre just good burgers done right, the Milk sauce is on the other hand...really good. They also offer a bunch of locally brewed beer, which is always a plus. Burgers and beers do go hand and hand!!
