I have been working with Mimi for almost a year and she is exactly what you would want in a vocal instructor and more. If they had more stars, I would give them! She has strengthened my range, base vocal support, vocal style, and vocal education! She is the best of the best!

Highly recommended! I have been an adult vocal student of Mimis for almost 10 years and have thoroughly enjoyed working with her. She has extensive knowledge and expertise in the technical aspects of proper breathing, vocalization, singing and performance, encompassing all genres of music. Mimi tailors her instruction to her students age, goals, learning style and music preferences. Mimis instruction and coaching helped me to develop my vocal sound, expand my vocal range and expression, and gain confidence in my performances (solo/choir). We found Mimi by googling voice lessons. My daughter (14) has been taking lessons with her for over a year now for musical theater and the progress she has made is amazing. Even her school music teacher has noticed the difference in her. Mimi has been very accommodating when we are in need of a last minute lesson to brush up on a song that my daughter is using for an audition. She works through every note to make her do her best. She is very easy to work with and her prices are compatible with other voice teachers. A+++

Long ago I was a self-taught rock ‘n’ roll singer with a lot of bad habits. I knew I wanted to get better and also expand my musical horizons. I also knew that if I didnt start singing properly, I probably would not be doing it for much longer.I found Mimi in the Yellow Pages while I was looking for a vocal coach in the area. That phone call changed my life. It’s almost 20 years later, and I am still performing and studying with Mimi.At my first audition with her, Mimi said she heard something in me that she thought could really be turned into something special. She said I needed to agree to let her completely tear down my bad habits and start me from scratch. I agreed and I bought into the process 100%. I am glad I did!Mimi exposed me to a world of music that I never even considered singing. She opened up my eyes (and ears) to the world of musical theater, opera and German lieder. I never knew that I had the potential to become the bass-baritone singer that I have become.Training with Mmi opened up MANY doors for me, and I have had the joy of performing in numerous recitals and musical theater and opera productions - as well as continuing to sing in rock bands THE RIGHT WAY! I have even had the pleasure of touring and performing in Europe a couple of times thanks to my work with Mimi.Mimi transformed my voice into something I am very proud of. I had fun performing before I met Mimi, but after learning the right way to sing, I now not only have fun performing, but I have fun singing. I could not recommend a better teacher. I trained with her for three years, and those years drastically transformed me as vocalist. Through her expertice and clear direction I was able to grow as a classical singer, and with her help I was accepted to Roberts Wesleyan College as a vocal major. Through every step of my audition process and vocal developement throughout the years, she always pushed me in new and creative ways while always providing generous positive support.
