Marcus is the best! He is professional and his attention to detail is amazing. James is an honorable soul! He is true to his word. Robert is forthright! He tells it as it is. Johnathan and Wade were super helpful. I live almost an hour away but they were able to handle most of the process over the phone so that when the time came I was able to go there and pick the car up. They were incredibly helpful and able to answer all my questions. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle.
If I could give 0 stars I would, worst customer service, the man with gelled hair in the parts department is disgusting. No customer service skills, ordered the wrong piece for my Mini Cooper, can never find the manager, or anyone to answer the phone. Did not want to exchange the part that he ordered that was wrong, saying that it needs to be in a box when the white bald man at the parts center never gave us a box. This place is a scam. Save your money and go to Certified Collision of Long Island and ask for Billy. They are so professional and kind, and do not take advantage of you, especially since this place manipulates women.
Last weekend my wife and I purchased a used Nissan SUV from Mini of Freeport. Ms Bonilla was our saleswoman, and we found her to be very knowledgeable, professional and respectful of our time.picking up the car was a true pleasure. The car was exactly as promised, and We were literally in and out of the dealership within thirty minutes, that including a test drive.Thanks again, and I look forward to doing business with your dealership in the near future
I had a great experience at Mini of Freeport. I walked in not really expecting to buy anything but after about an hour, we worked up a deal that I couldnt turn down. Sofia was great as she was able to find me a specific car that I wanted. Would also like to praise James & Chester who helped out on my deal as well. There was no pressure from the initial encounter to signing the final paperwork. Thanks Again! I hope to do business with all of you again soon!!

Had a great experience dealing with Sean Miller and Jason Ferrara in getting a 2021 clubman S All4. Buying/leasing a car is often an exhausting process but can say that this went quickly and as pain free as possible. They will work with you to get you into the car you want. Highly recommend this dealership if you’re into Minis and BMWs.

Peter is such a great salesperson. Nowadays, I dont really like talking on the phone. I prefer e-mail since everything is in writing. No he said, she said. I told Peter this when we first test drove the Countryman and he understood. I kept in contact with him for a week and he answered all my questions. The longest he took to answer was a day and I understood, most of the time he answered in a few hours. A week after I test drove the car, I picked it up. Thats how much I appreciated the service and care Peter gave. He wasnt pushy, gave me the information I wanted and needed, and replied quickly and favorably. This gives me the peace of mind that Freeport will continue to take care of me when my car needs servicing.
This dealership is very poorly managed and unprofessional. I took my car to get flat tire fixed and have is realigned. At first I got a loner but I decided I would wait it out. I ended up waiting two hours and there was a scheduling mishap and my car was not even in service. It happens, but the manager Terry could not have handled it more poorly. Instead of offering me a discount, she publicly shamed the young employees that messed up the schedule in front of me. The manager could not have made me feel more uncomfortable.
Just picked up my new Mini Cooper Countryman and couldnt be happier with the car OR the customer service we received during the leasing process. James and Sophia were AMAZING to work with. It was both my husbands and my first time leasing a vehicle and the horror stories you hear about sales people and what not had us nervous (specifically because Im the worst negotiator in history and would just rather not) but Sophia and James never once made us feel uneasy or pushed into something we didnt want. They were truly great and made the whole experience SO comfortable and effortless., highly recommend this dealership, 5 stars!!!
Marcus was great. He was good to deal with, very attentive, and not pushy. Hes a good Motoring Advisor and someone who I would like to purchase a future Mini from. Overall good experience with Mini of Freeport as well. For me, this dealership was not the closest, but they had in stock one that I was interested in so I decided to travel there for the test drive and Im glad I did. I definite recommend Marcus and this dealership.
I bought a new car from this location last September. My sales person, Sophia Jones, was really smart about the product and quick with the process! She made the whole process easy, from beginning to end. She was even patient when I couldn’t decide which car to get. All in all, everyone was very courteous and easy to speak with. Great experience!!
I had an issue with not having a navigation system in my 2020 mini cooper. No fault of mini cooper its what was affordable for me but something I needed. I called mini cooper of Freeport and spoke with the manager Jason who told me about the mini click and drive a small device that connects to right about the steering wheel that I could clip my phone and use as my navigation system with google maps that plays well through the care. It sounds petty but it was major to me. Thank you Jason (he would the guy in the great suit when you go there) for al your help and not making me feel crazy.
I came here for a tire change and they charged me $150 for a wheel alignment. This was optional but this was never told to me! I called mini of Manhattan and they informed me wheel alignment is not required. When I called to speak with the manager he hung up the phone on me TWICE!!! They wanted to give me store credit but I never want to go back there. At this point Im not even sure if Im going to get my money back. My husband drives a Mercedes and every time we go to service the car they ask him FIRST if they think the car needs additional service. Nobody asked me if I wanted this service!The waiting time was 2 to 3 hours. After my car was ready they spent 15 minutes looking for my car and keys.
Buying experience was good with Sophia Jones, they were responsive and quick with handling the paperwork. Its also a plus theyre open on weekends but it was a little disappointing they didnt have both my vehicle keys waiting for me on pick up day. It wasnt a big deal if they were going to mail me another key but the one mailed, doesnt work. Ive tried programming it as per the dealers instructions but no success. They were responsive in my purchase of the vehicle but now they already have my money, they wont even return my calls to get the key fixed!
Not only has this been the best Mini dealership experience but its been the best car buying experience I have ever had. Ive been looking for a new mini for a month and every time Ive gone to their dealerships I leave so upset that I call mini usa complaining about their lack of customer service. Mini of Freeport has changed my mind with great customer service. From the second we stepped foot in the door to the moment we drove off the lot with my new Mini Cooper S. Sophia, James and Pres are such an amazing team, they made me a Mini of Freeport customer for life!
OK, so my wife and I went to this place and from first encounter with the dealers till the end there was no pressure. BRANDON was Awesome! BRANDON was professional, considerate, informative and showed great patience. We test drove few cars and ended up purchasing 2019 4door mini. We were pressed on time!!! And could not stay any longer for the final paper works. We told brandon we really needed the car but might need to come back another time.Brandon ended up delivering/driving the car hour and half back to my place in queens! It was a great experience and i will go back for more business in coming to future.🙏
Went to the Mini/BMW of Freeport and purchase a used car with my boyfriend. Wade Hui was the one who helped us. It was supposed to be his day off and he spent the better part of his day making sure everything was set up between the insurance and the paperwork so we could drive our new vehicle right out the lot that day. Would go back again, and highly recommend this place when looking for a new or used vehicle. Very friendly caring people!
I have had the pleasure of leasing two Mini Cooper Ss and this dealer is fantastic. They were completely honest and transparent during the negotiation and saved me a ton of money from my first Mini lease that was done with a dealer in NJ. The delivery process was quick and easy and I think I was done in less than one hour from my arrival. I had the pleasure of working with Marcus Mordan one of their salesmen on both transactions and he was terrific. Just for context - this dealer is roughly 45 miles from my home and worth the trip in every way. MIni of Freeport and Marcus will be getting my business for years to come.
Recently we stopped by return lease and get a new car. No one even approached us nor offered any assistance till we started asking. Took 30 min to sales person sitting at desk without any customers to notice us. We had to ask them. Just wanted to swipe for same exact car even with less features and as usual they pumped-up the lease price for 30+% as well as downpayment. Worse experience I had with a leasing a new car.
Was looking for months for a mini cooper in the color I wanted at the price I wanted. Marcus helped me find it! He was very helpful through the whole process of leasing my mini. He also followed up with me via email to make sure all is ok and answered all my questions I had after getting the car. There are a lot of fun gadgets I wasnt used to and Marcus always answered promptly and professionally. Mini of Freeport is a very clean, professional dealership, I was glad I went there even though I was hesitant because it was an hour away from where I live. All in all, great experience and I am just loving my new MINI!
Christmas Eve 2016 I was blessed with the opportunity to work with James C, Marcus and their finance department to walk out in a brand new Mini last minute! I highly recommend going to this dealership if in the market to buying a new car. They were honest, straight forward and worked with me! The people that I have met here treat you more as a friend than a client from the moment you walk through the door, which I have yet to encounter at any other dealership. From the newest salesperson to the sales manager, everyone treats you with genuine kindness and respect. This place is great . A very comfortable environment and sells rep are very nice and pretty. They take the time to discuss the options and be willing to help you get a good deal with the manager. I got a great deal on a Prius although they are not Toyota but once a while very nice deals on different cars. No pressure at all when buying . Will recommend
I have had the pleasure of working with MINI of Freeport for the past 10 years. I am currently leasing my fourth MINI from them and Marcus Mordan has been the best to work with each and every time! Normally I dread the car buying/leasing process, but not with Marcus. He makes it simple, straightforward, and downright fun. Recently, my MINI had some issues. This happens sometimes. It is unavoidable, but I find that the true test of a good company is how they handle these issues. Well, MINI of Freeport just proved to me that they put their customers and their customers safety first! I must praise not only Marcus, but Jon Belez, Sales Manager, and Oscar Reyes from Service as well. Jon really put himself out there to make things right for us, and he came through, big time! I have never been so impressed with an individual who easily could have put us off to someone else, but instead made us a personal priority. And Oscar, who saw me at my worst, was so sympathetic and caring. He dropped everything to help me and that was amazing. Many companies claim to put their customers first, but that is only when things go well or when they are making a sale. How many companies are still putting their customers first after the deal is signed? That is the challenge, and MINI of Freeport not only stepped up to the challenge, but they crushed it! Jon, Marcus, and Oscar...you are my dream team. I will be back when I am ready for my fifth MINI!!
I had a phenomenal experience at Mini of Freeport. Marcus Mordan was really helpful, polite, informative, and most importantly, genuine. I couldnt have been happier with my purchase and I felt like my time in the showroom was well spent. Marcus helped me with customizing my new Mini Roadster, and showed me how to work all of the bells and whistles, as I was new to Mini. Now Im a customer for life, and will be sure to work with Marcus and the family at Mini of Freeport.
Mini of Freeport made my purchase of a 2015 Mini JCW super easy. They were extremely helpful, explained the car thoroughly, let me test drive the car, and explained every option. I spent several hours with them before buying the car and they made me feel comfortable at every step. My sales agent Steve Jaworski and my sales manager Steve Mahoney were excellent and I highly recommend them for purchasing a mini cooper. The General Sales Manager, Matthew Dency, even met with me and congratulated me to the mini family and offered me the opportunity to call him directly with any questions or if I need any type of assistance. If you are looking for a mini or a bmw dont look elsewhere. They are under new ownership and have been my best experience in purchasing a vehicle to date.
Had the pleasure of working with Wade Hui at the dealership. For some reason I felt very comfortable with Wade as he gave me a favorable impression. It almost felt like I knew him for years. He took time to locate the car we wanted and contacted me as soon as one became available. After all the effort of locating the car we wanted the Mrs changed her mind and wanted another model. The change didn’t bother Wade at all and he took the time again to locate the exact car we wanted. The service Wade provided us was the best we experienced so far when buying a car. Even after we took the car home he took all my calls / messages and gladly replied to them.We will definitely look to work with Wade and the sales manager, John, again if we have the opportunity to get into a BMW or Mini.
What a wonderful dealer! They try to sale us the car by giving a very fair price and good advice, not by pressure or annoying sales tactics. We are very happy with our car.The two employees we dealt with were Steve Jaworski (sales) and Pres (finance). Both are very trustworthy and made the experience of navigating through the maze of the purchase easy.
It was a very pleasant visit. The agent, Sophie Jones was very helpful and calm and very understanding of my needs! Manager Steve came by to say hi and went over our deal very clearly. He explained in great detail what is going on between my trade in and the car Im getting and how my credit will play its part. After a tough (but NO STRESS) negotiation, I was very happy as they gave me extra on my trade in and a little bit more discount in the car I was trying to get. They understood where Im coming from and what where my needs and the reason Im doing the trade.They will try to squeeze every bit of dollar they can give you and they will leave it there for you to take or leave, YOU WILL NOT feel like they are selling it hard on you and forcing you to see that this is the deal this is it you have got to take it, and now!100% to recommend if you are in the market for a mini cooper or BMW or even other used car, they have a decent collection of cars to choose from in their inventory!

This is a review of both the sales and service departments.As a family we have purchased three cars from MINI of Freeport. The sales staff are friendly and fairly knowledgeable. However, their caring, accommodating, and friendly sales tactics are just that, tactics. They want your money, and they have no problem inconveniencing you if they firmly believe they have a sale. The finance manager tried to increase the monthly payments on my mothers current lease, claiming that the salesman made a mistake despite both parties having already signed the papers. Only after my mother threatened to take her money back and walk away did the sales staff relent and honor the deal they originally agreed to. When I purchased my used Cooper S from the same salesman a few years later the told me the car had to be serviced and that it wasnt ready for delivery. That wouldnt be a problem but they decided to notify me after I had already returned my Ford lease and driven to MINI of Freeport to take delivery. I was told the car would be ready for me and it was not. The salesman feigned ignorance and said that no one from the service department updated him on the condition of my vehicle.I brought my 07 Cooper S in for service to fix a recalled part this past week. The car came back to me in worse condition than it was originally! The service technicians took it upon themselves to make a repair I did not ask for. The car was returned to me running rough, check engine light, the works! Then they tell me they dont have a loaner to give me, and that I have to pay to fix what they broke! Absolutely unacceptable. The problem stemmed from the engine repair they made without consulting me. They of course repaired the damage they caused without charging me, but only because I was forced to make a scene in the middle of the service center and because I was more knowledgeable about the car than the head of the department.The bottom line is MINI of Freeport is a typical stealership. They will try to rip you off if they think they can. They will do as little as humanly possible for their customers and they do not care about you as a customer. Other reviews posted here on Google say negative things but i gave them the benefit of the doubt. Dont give MINI of Freeport the benefit of the doubt. Purchase your MINI at another dealer, and have your BMW or MINI serviced at another facility.
It was an eventful and fun experience with Wade and John! They are extremely knowledgeable and down to earth, courteous, respectful and HUMBLE! I was only going to look not necessarily buy and I had so much fun with the experience that I ended up purchasing a car from wade! And you can’t forget the awesome joyride with John in the hot M2!! BEST EXPERIENCE!!!!
This was the best car buying experience either my husband or I have ever had, and we have both had many! Sophia Jones our motoring adviser is amazing, so sweet and she really went the extra mile to meet our needs and preferences. James Calihan the General Sales Manager came up $1,000.00 from what they originally offered for our trade in when I said how much I really had hoped to get for it, and when we told them what we could afford to put down and pay each month, James simply just made it happen, without any haggling or pressure. Steve Mahoney our finance guy was swamped that day and it took a while for him to complete the paperwork, however I have found this to be the case anytime we have purchased or leased a car anywhere. The difference with Mini of Freeport is that they are such exceptionally friendly and fun people, we didnt mind it taking a while to dot all of the is and cross all of the ts....in fact, we actually ENJOYED THE WHOLE PROCESS, and we didnt want to leave! These are people we simply liked being around, and I have already recommended them to everyone who has seen my beautiful new car. We were not even seriously considering a Mini, we actually stopped in on a whim, however after this exceptional leasing experience and how much we are enjoying this fun, peppy little car, I dont know if we will ever go anywhere else BUT Mini of Freeport! Ive been buying used cars (never had a new one) for 50 years. Ive had a large range of buying experiences. Last week I bought a used 2013 MINI Cooper Coupe JCW from MINI of Freeport. I can easily say this was the best purchasing experience I have ever had.Easy to find, bright, clean, comfortable dealership. Staff were uniformly positive and helpful. Not a hint of high pressure tactics. Comfortable customer lounge.More specifically in terms of personnel, Josh handled my initial contact and all of the subsequent questions in a very professional and positive manner. Steve M (sales) handled the experience from start to finish with attentive competence. I had an engine warning light on (due to a loose oil filler cap). Before it was diagnosed Steve offered to meet me at the dealership on his day off -- a clear indicator of his customer service. Pres handled all of the paperwork for us quickly, skillfully and with a sense of humor. Thrilled about the purchase, I jumped in the car and drove home leaving all of the purchase documentation sitting somewhere in the dealership. I called the next day. Adena cheerfully tracked it down and mailed it to me.If all of that isnt enough for you Brittney would make the toughest customer glad they decided to buy their MINI here. Charming, knowledgeable, a true devotee to the marque she answered every question thoughtfully based on extensive experience. Since making this decision, Ive become more familiar with MINI owners devotion and the kind of community this automaker has created. These qualities seem distilled in this person. You will appreciate her expert assistance.
How you handle situations makes you who you are ! I recently leased a Car here and due to being from out of state there was a confusing hold up on the registration of the vehicle! The dealer had no control over this but when things were getting ridiculous with dealing with the RMV from my state the staff here put all hands on deck! They moved mountains to make things happen. Again the problem was not theirs yet they stepped in and took care of it! Gregg, Xeno, John , Sophia , Marie and Justin did an amazing job from beginning to end! This place screams family and professionalism, the staff is amazing and guess what!!! They have super nice cars! You can buy a car anywhere these days ! But can you find a staff this good? Thanks Mini of Freeport ! We will make the trip from Massachusetts again soon ! You should be proud of who you are! ! Well done👍
I purchased my pre-owned BMW 328i convertible through Frank. From the moment I walked in, until I drove out with my beautiful car, I was treated like a VIP! Pres and the financing team were amazing to work with! A knowledgeable staff, and extremely personable! Whether youre looking for a pre-owned BMW or a Mini, stop in and see these guys! I had high hopes after dealing with Tracy at Hassel Mini Cooper Dealership. She was so competent, however, after she went on vacation Hassel Mini showed their true colors. My 2010 Mini Cooper died after hitting one of the many potholes in Queens, NY. The power train was done even though the car had never made any noise or indication there was an issue with the engine. After a little research looks like they’ve had serious problems with the power train on 2010 MC along with other years. A class action lawsuit was filed and settled because of this failure. Unfortunately, for me I was a little too late to participate in the class action. It was settled in 2014. Anyway, after Tracy left, Oscar was assigned as my service representative. Called at least 10 plus times to talk to Oscar about paying bill and having RCO cash for cars pick up my Mini. What a disaster!!! I just needed a contact person for tow truck driver. Never ever spoke to Oscar, even after leaving many messages to organize payment and a pickup. But I received many automated calls telling me to pay bill and come get car, it was ready to be picked up. This has been the most unprofessional Mini Cooper Dealership I have ever dealt with since owning a Mini. To top off everything, once tow truck was there they couldn’t find the car. Obviously there is a bunch of yahoo’s working at Hassel. How do you lose a car (doesn’t even run) on the lot? If it weren’t for Ralph at RCO Cash 4 Cars and myself dealing with this hundreds of miles away, there would have been no progress made to end my dealings with Hassel. Buyer Beware...go to another Mini Cooper Dealership!
My experience with Jacqueline was amazing. This great experience started upon checking with the receptionist to browsing cars. All of the managers here are warm & friendly which made me feel great leasing my 1st BMW.Jacqueline made me feel so special & it doesn’t stop at point of sale . She continuously calls to make sure everything is still perfect!Anybody on Long Island looking for 1st class treatment , head straight to BMW of Freeport & ask 4 Jacqueline Chait!
I bought my first Mini and my experience was 5 Star. I tried to buy my 2nd Mini, placed a deposit on it and was told it would take 6-8 weeks to order it. At week #6, I called to check the status and was told the order was never placed even though they accepted and deposited my down payment. Either there was a monumental screw-up, or they lied and sold it to another customer for a higher mark-up. In any case, they returned my deposit 2 days later. I am relating this story because I just traded in the 1st Mini for another brand and dont have to bring my old Mini for service any longer. Service Dept. was very good.
If I could do 0 stars, I would. I bought a used car from this dealership back in April. First they didnt get my license plate or title done properly such that it could not be driven because the tags were expired. It took me driving back to the dealership and leaving it there for them to fix the first issue.Then I find out from Mini headquarters that they do not participate or condone third party warranties and didnt understand what kind of warranty I had. I have since purchased a new Mini extended warranty and am STILL WAITING for a refund on the third party warranty that they guaranteed in person would happen. That was October 2018, and its now December 2018. It DOES NOT take two months to process a refund of a not-in-force policy. STAY WAY!!!
Had a great experience purchasing a used Rav4. Stephen was our main POC- he was very personable and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to ensure we were able to come to an agreement on the car. James and Pres were also very easy to work with. Everything went smoothly, would highly recommend this team.
Giving this place a 1 star because they kind of screwed my girlfriend and I over. We came to this place after searching for a while for a perfect car for my gf. She finally decided she wanted a 2016 Mini Countryman. We went to go look and test drive it. Everything was great, she loved the car, we got a nice salesperson and we decided to buy it. We sat down, talked about what color, trim, and most importantly options in the car and price. Even though it wasnt the BEST deal, it was what she wanted so we went ahead and did the deal. When the car came we were stunned, it *LOOKED* perfect. The problem came a few weeks after. My gf started noticing that a lot of the options she wanted WERE NOT IN THE CAR. We were young, barely 22 years old, fresh out of college and in our temporary jobs. We had no experience prior and were just so excited about the new car and how we were all grown up purchasing our first car that we were blinded and pretty much taken advantage of. The options we discussed and were PROMISED were in the car were not there. Which is weird because the price were paying was agreed upon WITH those options present. So since they arent it should have been a cheaper car. No back up camera, no alarm system, NO KEYLESS ENTRY/START, NO AUTO FOLD MIRRORS, just to name a few. I personally did not drive the car nor was I in the car with her ever so being the passive person she is, she didnt want to say anything and just let it go. She even gave this sales person STEVE, i think his name was, a perfect CSI survey. He was a nice guy, dont get me wrong but I definitely feel cheated and taken advantage of. So please, if youre going to buy here BEWARE. Double check your car before you leave that is built and optioned the way you guys discussed. Of course this was also partially our faults because we didnt check or complain. Nonetheless not everyone likes confrontational situations so to avoid any issues she said nothing, so I will on her behalf since I also help pay her car payments.
I would rate 0 if I could. Yesterday I brought my car in for an inspection at 9:45. I was told that my car needed an oil change and a brake fluid etc. for approximately $500.My maintenance agreement has just ended and my warranty is about to expire. They tried to sell me both. I signed the repair paperwork and was told that my car would be ready in 3 hours. At 12:30 I received a call from my service advisor telling me that the technitian found an oil leak, he was going to lunch and my car would be there longer but it would be ready by 4:30 latest. At 3:30 I received another phone call from my service advisor advising that the part they need to fix the oil leak is not in stock and needs to be ordered overnight and the car needs rear brake pads and rotors (an additional $540). Never mentioned this earlier and now when I have waited all day for my car, I am being told that my car will not be ready and I will be stranded with no car until sometime tomorrow afternoon. I said that is not acceptable to me and I want to speak to the manager. I was told he would call me in 10 mins. After 35 mins. I called back and was told that the manager is out but that he would call me back. I never heard from the manager. The next phone call I received at 4:15 was from my service advisor letting me know that the part (that was not there 45 minutes ago) was ordered for someone else but they are using it for my car. I was told that the technitians are putting my car back together and it will take about an hour. After waiting all day I was finally picked up and received my car back at 5:55 pm. I declined the brake pad and rotor repair as well as the new tires that they tried to sell me. The good news is that my maintenance agreement and warranty agreement are no longer in effect, I can have my car serviced at an honest repair shop. I have no idea what really happened yesterday, but I am happy to have my car back.
Terrible place to have your car serviced. You pay a lot of money and your car gets partially fixed. Went in for an oil change and ended up with a lot of diagnosed issues that were over $2000. To then have to go back the next week to get another issue fixed in my tire that was likely done at the dealer. I will recommend to go somewhere else. Don’t waste your money here. Extremely disappointed and will never go back there.
Service department is a bunch of liars. They advised that I need to change one of my coils that Ive replaced myself due to misfiring issues on one of my cylinder. The coil I have installed is a direct replacement for OEM from a reputable replacement parts company. The service adviser said that the car computer will only work with factory parts. This was not the case as I never had issues with the replacement coil I have installed. The service technician also didnt tighten the wheel lock. One of them near fall out. This place is extremely unprofessional.
I would give less than one star, if I could. Service department is a disgrace! Took my car in for a simple NY State inspection. Waited over 7 hours to get my car back, and it still wasnt inspected. In the meantime, someone put 70 miles on my odometer while I was cooling my heels in the waiting room. If you are looking to get ripped off, Mini of Freeport is the place to go!
I bought three modules from them, the cost was over 1,000 dollars, I went to a body shop so they can install them and one of the modules part number was incorrect, then I went to another dealership which is closer to me to program the modules, they programmed 2 and 1 was defective. I call this dealership from which I purchased the module from they told me they couldnt exchange it, they told me to bring the car to them. So I made an appointment, drove over 1 and a half hour to get them, I came earlier than my appointment, they had the module I needed in stock.The customer service is unacceptable they said that the person who handles these problems was not even in, even though when I made the appointment I told them the problem and the foreman apparently didnt have time to look at the car, even though the problem is an easy fix. they told me I had to leave the car for a few days. The foreman seemed lazy to even look at the car. Its like you go to a dentist appointment and you tell them your tooth hurts really bad and they tell you to come back tomorrow we are really busy today. I dont recommend even going to this place, especially ordering parts from them, they make mistakes even with the most expensive parts. I will never go there again.

Not helpful what so ever. Unprofessional staff, not knowledgable about basic information. Rude and disloyal. Very disappointed in their services! NEVER again! I do not recommend them at all! I was better off going across the street to BMW instead of giving business to mini Freeport. I am completely disgusted that I even signed papers with these people. They do not deserve not even a half a penny! Just real shady business, if youre looking for a good deal and a dealership that keeps their promises and puts their customers first I suggest NOONE go to mini of Freeport. They will waste your time and have no remorse oh and did I mention make promises they do not keep! Stay away from these people as they will try to brainwash you and deny you gap insurance and give you the upmost worst service ever. You would think because your giving them thousands they would bow down to you because we, the people are keeping them in business but NOPE they will just screw you over! BEWARE folks!
Would avoid mini of Freeport like the plague. Bought a mini paceman which had transmission failure in 1 year due to a product defect that I was never informes about. This happened again exactly one year later, and turns out it was the same problem because the mechanic replaced it incorrectly!! On top of this, they did not apologize to me and did not take responsibility for the problem. I did not receive any warranty extension or any other reimbursement despite the time and money I lost in towing and servicing the vehicle. STAY AWAY FROM MINI OF FREEPORT!
I am very pleased and thankful for the service I was provided. The place is wonderful and Jason and Shawn were amazing. Jason made sure I left happy,He did everything to bring me back and get me in to the car I wanted. Amazing place and an amazing deal. Thank you guys!!!!!!!!!
The finance guy Rob is just a big flirt with empty promises. He co tinhes to flirt with the women around me and does not talk directly to me that was buying the car. I have ok credit he promised to get me approved I waited over 2 weeks with no call me back from him. He plays to many games and flirts way to much to be taking seriously. For a man of his status he acts very unprofessional
Only interested in bottom lineIn order to attain an extra dollar they will throw you under the bus, and stiff you with high unjustified interest rates and bullcrap warranties. Instead of offering me gap insurance which would offer real protection they automatically refused it on my behalf and shoved down my throat a wheel and rum policy which the fiancé manager threatened with either the warranty or a higher interest rate. Now 6 months later my car is totaled and I look to my contract and see that it was marked na, xxx come to find out it would have been a couple of hundred dollars now Im screwed for at least 6k I will file a complaint with the courts.
They didnt work with us on getting a car no one even in the dealership but saying there selling car faster then getting them in didnt offer us any incentives at all and not even a discount for Frontline workers like really when i went to Ford who does that never will get a another mini after this experience and I had 3 of them letting this lease go i am going with FORD!!!
Went to service center three times in the same month and they still haven’t fixed the problem I presented to them first. Also everytime I go for my scheduled appointment my advisor is always on break. Terrible service center although the people in the garage are super nice.
I would give no stars if I could!! I have dealt with this place for a few years now only because its the closest bmw place to my home. I really would rather kill myself than deal with them. No-one ever answers your calls, they make you wait forever, they keep transferring you around if you do get through, they even charged me more than what was listed in the magazine for a part...it is hands down the worst experience you will ever have! Avoid it like the plague!

2022-06-10Leased my first Mini Hardtop 5 door here, and I can most definitely say my experience was nothing short of phenomenal. I initially inquired via their website regarding a manual mini hardtop. Peter, Senior Motoring Advisor, reached out to me shortly after. I decided to head into the shop to test drive. As soon as I walked in, i was kindly greeted by the staff, Peter, and Sam (General Manager). Peter earned my trust almost immediately. He was very knowledgeable about minis and very enthusiastic. It was very nice to finally meet a mini enthusiast. Other places I scouted out prior to Mini Freeport weren’t as excited about Minis and some places did not even acknowledge my presence when i walked in 🙄. I had a trade in, and Peter and I talked through the numbers and the preliminary deal was made. Peter was transparent since the start that the Mini I was excited about was still being transported on ship and wont arrive for another two weeks.Two weeks later, the preliminary deal we agreed on did NOT change when I came back. In some cases in the past, when I came in, some random “problem” came up and the prices needed to be adjusted. Needless to say, i solved that problem by just walking out. Additionally, Peter had went above and beyond to set me up for success: set up the insurance and provided some details to me via email and phone call so that I can get some documents regarding the trade-in information, etc.. again, i’ve been to some places where I had to do that myself (Lexus/Benz).I’m so glad Peter reached out to me and was my Motoring Advisor. They have definitely earned my business and can’t wait to see what’s in store for Mini’s future.

2022-03-21After extensive research, we found the perfect car here. The only problem was that we lived 1200 miles away. We worked with Marcus to complete the deal over the phone and then flew to New York to sign the paperwork and drive the vehicle home. The car was exactly as described and Marcus made the process easy and seamless. He even called to check to make sure we made home safely. His kindness, efficiency and professionalism was greatly appreciated. This dealership has a gem in Marcus! Thank you for an awesome experience!

2022-04-15Completely unsatisfactory service. If there was an option to leave zero stars I would. I purchased a 2019 mini convertible from here last month. I put the deposit on it and was told that someone would reach it to me on Tuesday to let me know how the inspection went. No one called, and after reaching out to them multiple times I finally had someone return my call. Once I wax told the cat was good to go I asked multiple times what the bottom line price was so that I could get the proper amount on the bank check. When I went to pick up my car they sat me down with a finance manger who told me the amount I owed was thousands of dollars more that was previously stated, and was very rude and unwilling to listen to what I had to say about what the agreed on price. After about twenty minutes of dealing with this very unpleasant individual I finally paid the price that was initially quoted. I than waited almost a month to receive my registration in the mail, and upon receiving the registration noticed that it expires next month. I paid them a DMV fee for a plate transfer and registration. I was told because I transferred the plates and did not get new ones, they only registered it for that one month and I have to go and register the car again myself at the DMV. Unheard of! I am currently waiting to hear back from a branch manager regarding this. There has been nothing but headaches and incompetence while dealing with this dealership. For the price of my purchase I expect better service and all around better knowledge from the staff regarding the sales process. Stay away.

2021-12-15I came to get an oil change for my Mini Cooper, appointment was 10:20 am, got there 10 mins early. The woman said I needed an alignment and it would take 2 hours. I said I would wait for my car. It’s 2:45 pm and my car still isn’t finished yet, they said it is going through the car wash, they told me this 3 times already. Go to a different dealership if you need service for you car. I’m never coming back here again.

I say that as a compliment. Being looked out for doesnt happen every day at a car dealership, which is why we went back four years later. BMW/MINI of Freeport is a great place to buy a car. 2018-03-20As soon as I walked in and met Jon the sales manager and Marcus the salesman I knew I was in good hands. They are both Mini owners to start with and car enthusiasts. They know their Minis in and out. Jon was able to beat another lease estimate I received from another LI dealership and Marcus got me the Mini of my choice (lapisluxuryBlue Mini 2 door hardtop S) and a lease that I could afford. Both guys are very trustworthy and honest. No surprises closing the lease and all in all a joyful experience. Car was detailed and ready for me in the lot. Marcus took me through everything and is very knowledgeable. A great team at Freeport Mini. I highly recommend them.

I wasn’t too pleased with another dealership and Sean gave me a great price and was very transparent on the lease on a higher model car.
