This was my first time at Mint Salon, and I was lucky enough to be booked with the beautiful Ms. Tonee. She was so amazing, not only did my hair look so much better after her magical hands touched it. She was so professional, kind and relatable. Which made the experience so much better. I cant wait to get back into her chair, and get all my friends in with her as well!!
Dominique has been trimming and treating my daughters curly hair and shes the BEST! She is very patient and is always happy to answers all my curl related questions. We love coming to Mint because we always feel welcomed and at home. I highly recommend.
I love how my hair looks/feels everytime I have had an appointment. Dominique has been my stylist for almost a year now. She takes the time to listen to what you want and follows through, teaching you how to achieve the same results at home. She is welcoming. She will greet you with a smile and knows how to make you feel comfortable the whole time you are there. Its like seeing a long time friend. I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist.
Mint Salon is a great treasure of Rochester. The service all types of curly hair and leave you feeling great. Dominique is my stylist and wasn’t available so I went to Maggie who just as bomb. They know their curls and they like to laugh. Great shop!!
I’m so glad I found Mint. After several disastrous experiences at other places, I decided to make the trek from Buffalo to check it out. I always go to Dominique—who is wonderful—but I have consistently found everyone there to be friendly and extremely well-trained stylists. I also love the curl-positive, women-positive philosophy. Love Mint!!!
I had my first cut/style with Lacy today and it was a straight forward quality experience. She educated me about caring for my curls and using product appropriately. I would definitely recommend for men with curly hair! Thanks Lacy!On another occasion recently I needed to make a last-minute appointment and Dominique was available, and with her I also have a really, well, fun experience. She, like Lacy, is extremely adept with curls and has a playful and fun personality that made my time at Mint yet again very satisfying. Domiinique also owns the resident Mint pooch, Reese, who is a sweet, calm part-Bernese Mt. Dog with very curl hair himself! If you have curls and youre a man, by all means try Mint. Fair prices, friendly space, skilled stylists.
Lacey is an artist! I love how she can look at my curls and cut them just right. Mint is comfortable (as are the new shampoo chairs) and everyone is just so nice. My preschool daughter loves Lacey, too. She was so great with my nervous kiddo, and treated her like she was part of the family explaining every step. We look forward to our next visit!!
I’ve had my hair done by Rachel a few times at Mint Salon. She really takes such great care of me and my hair. Rachel takes the time to ask questions to ensure she is understanding exactly what you want/need. I’ve always been beyond pleased with my hair after our visit. I even schedule time with her when I travel home since I’ve recently moved to Arizona.Not only is Rachel a wonderful stylist but Mint salon ensures you are treated with top customer service. Each hair stylist maintains an appropriate atmosphere within the salon. They each speak, not only the customers with up most respect, but they also speak to one another with sincere professionalism. Some salons can be dramatic or catty & can create a rather toxic environment. However this salon is the opposite. Mint is a very friendly, professional business that really prides themselves on building positive client relationships. My experience is always encouraging and uplifting. My hair feels great, the girls always compliment me on my new look and really make me feel beautiful each time I visit.Out of all my experiences at salons. I recommend this salon with a full 5 star!! On top of a great place- my girl Rachel will make you feel so special with a hair transformation. Ps. She is a goddess at braids.
The Mint Betties are a fabulous team of talented ladies! Each time I visit the salon it feels like Im being welcomed by old friends who are looking to catch up, share tips & bring out the best in you. Ive wandered away from Mint a time or two to save money, but I always return, as you cannot beat the expertise & quality Mint offers. Definitely worth the investment! Rachel & Dom have been my go to girls over the past year, but the entire team rocks. Jordan owner/stylist is a wonderful leader inspiring her team & clients. I love my curls & Mint.
I could never say enough great things about this salon! All of the staff members are warm and welcoming. I have fine, straight hair, and I always see Rachel for a great haircut and style. She is also amazing at listening to exactly what I want, which is usually a BOLD color! I always leave Mint Salon feeling and looking like a million bucks!
Dominique has been working her magic on my hair for the last year. She is knowledgeable about working with curly hair, walks you through every step of the cut, wash, and style. Her goal is evident, to help you learn how to best take care of your curls once you leave the salon. When I have had questions about scalp issues or concerns about how my hair is growing, she takes the time to address the concerns and works with you to find a solution. I highly recommend Dominique and the other stylists at mint.
I always have a great experience here and I LOVE the vibe and decor. These women truly understand curls of all kinds. The owner has a great connection with everyone on staff and you can definitely tell all the girls get along really well. Dominique is amazing and SUPERZ efficient. Shell get you in and out quicker than any stylist Ive ever had. Her schedule fills up fast so book with her ASAP!
Dominique does a wonderful job with my hair, both with my cut and perfecting my blonde. She always takes good care to make sure my hair stays healthy. She is super fun to chat with. I can tell she cares about all her clients. I’ve seen her work with kiddos and adults and she’s great with everyone! I have wavy hair and everyone at mint just gets it!
Jordan and her team at Mint Salon are providing the curly haired women of Rochester, NY with a wonderful salon just for us! She is very experienced in how to cut curly hair to bring out the natural curls best. The Deva Curl products she recommend are fabulous. And her personal attention to each customer is unmatched. I was in for my third hair cut in December and she took extra time to walk me through each step of the process again, to make sure I could replicate it at home. With a mirror in hand, I watched exactly what she did to wash, condition, and style my hair. I am so glad to have found Mint Salon!

I have been going to Mint for a couple of years now. I see Rachel every time I go. She never fails me and always goes the extra mile to make sure I am happy with my appointment. I naturally have curly hair. No matter how she cuts it, I never have trouble styling it, whichever way I wear it. You can tell she loves what she does because she is always up to date with the latest hairstyles and knows what will good on me. She takes the time to listen to what I want, but she is so amazing, I often let her do her own thing. I always have a smile on my face when I leave because I know I look better than when I walked in salon!

Domonique has been doing my hair since I started going to Mint a little over a year ago. No matter what state my hair is in, she always brings it back to life and gives it the Curl Im looking for. She always knows just what my hair needsNot only is she an amazing stylist, she is personable and has the most infectious laugh Ive ever heard. I came in this week for a balayage hair color with Rachel and couldnt be happier with the result! She was so friendly and attentive and gave me exactly the color I was hoping for. The salon is so cute and has a wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff! You can tell they all really care about their clients and want them to leave happy. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a great cut or color in the Rochester, NY area!
Each time I go Rachel tries something a little bit different with my hair and I always end up loving it! I got my first color here- I was nervous, but it came out so natural people who knew I colored it couldnt tell. Great service and great care of curly hair!
DO NOT GO HERE!!! I got my hair cut last year here and I told them I wanted bangs. However, I told them at least 4 times that I wanted to keep the length I had (because my curly hair grows super slow and I was finally happy with the length, which was about halfway down my back and took 3 years to grow). She then proceeded to give me layers (which I NEVER asked for and made it clear I didn’t want) and cut my hair to my shoulders!!! It looked absolutely horrible. And it still hasn’t grown back. So thank you guys so much for RUINING my hair. Again, please don’t go here!!!!!
One of the very best experiences Ive ever had at a salon! Lacey was incredibly friendly and attentive and asked what I liked and didnt like. She showed me the products she used in my hair and how to use them properly. Ive been putting way to much in my hair which made my hair feel weighed down. This place is a curly girls dream!! Has all the products you could possibly want. I cannot recommend this place enough!!
I went to mint a couple times a few years ago and had a terrible experience. I decided to give them another shot recently for a major curly hair cut. Tonee did amazing! She was nice and my hair turned out so cute. I never though my hair would look the way it does but Tonee worked her magic and it looks awesome!
I was so happy to find a salon in Rochester that not only knew how to do my natural black hair but, specialized in curly hair. The staff (right from my initial call inquiring and confirming they could take care of my very thick, natural hair) were extremely friendly and helpful. I was very happy to have Jen cut and manage my hair. She was very gentle and informative.I wasnt to crazy about the Deva Curl products they used and prefer my own go-to product [Cantu] but, overall I had a great experience and look forward to my next appointment!Great staff; wonderful environment! Highly recommended for curly (very curly, natural) hair!
Dominique was absolutely amazing so kind positive and full of life and she really gave myself and daughter great tips to care for hair well and a great boost of confidence my little one was smiling all day I highly recommend her if your hair needs a lot of care and youre looking for someone who is knowledgeable mint salon is definitely the way to go!! I went in for my first time today and got a curly cut with Rachel. I came in with dull, very dry, frizzy hair that needed a lot of life breathed into it. Rachel was able to do that and so much more. She listened to what I was looking for and my concerns, what I expected from my experience and gave me lots of tips a long the way on how to maintain great curls at home. She was very friendly and approachable which I greatly appreciated - given I was a bit nervous and overwhelmed (it had been nearly 2 years since my last haircut). She really put me at ease! I love my new haircut and I will definitely be back in a few months for a touch up :) Thanks, Mint!

I first found Mint Salon in June 2016. I had discovered I had curly hair and needed a good haircut to enhance my new found curls. I was really fortunate to get an appointment with salon owner, Jordan!! Jordan is beautiful AND a gift to curly girls (and boys). She knows how to make a curl happy! I was totally thrilled with the time and care she took with my hair and it shows!Today, she did a root touch up and highlights and, again, Im blown away!! My hair has never looked better! Every person in the salon is fantastic! Jen took time to wash and treat my hair and was great! Cheryl, the salon receptionist is more than a receptionist...shes a Jill of all trades! She is the hostess with the mostest extraordinarre! Attentive and kind as are all at Mint Salon!Dont waste a moment .... get thee to Mint Salon! Your curls will thank you!!!!!
I am every hairdressers worst nightmare — I delay hair cuts for months and months and then take matters into my own hands. Yes. I cut my own hair and it always always always looks terrible. When it really got out of control I made an appointment at Mint.Their online appointment system was easy to use and helpful as I got reminders via email as my appointment neared.Lacey approached my self-inflicted hack-job with professionalism and sweet/appropriate humor.Considering what she had to work with, she transformed my curly nightmare into a truly beautiful cut.Mints atmosphere is always friendly, the salon is clean and well-designed. They just got new chairs which made my shampooing experience really wonderful.Will return (within the prescribed 12 weeks and without taking personal shears to my lovely locks) and highly recommend.
It sounds dramatic, but really, coming here has changed my relationship with my hair. As I look back to older pictures before going to Mint, Im so thankful I found a place that knows how to deal with my very curly hair! Jordan has been really great and patient with me, working with me to figure out what I want, trying different things just so I could be happy with my hair. I had an amazing experience at Mint Salon in Rochester, NY. The staff was great from the start. Since I have wavy/curly hair, it is almost impossible to get my hair exactly the way I like it. My last haircut was 10 years ago and it was a hot mess. Ever since then, I have been too scared to go to a salon and cut my hair, but I recently noticed my hair getting more and more unhealthy and decided to bite the bullet. I scheduled an appointment with Dominique and the entire experience was just the best. She listen to all my questions and concerns and had an answer for everything. My curls have never been happier and bouncier. Dominique has absolutely restored my faith in hair salons and I look forward to coming back for my second haircut in 10 years!
I first went to Jordan before she opened her own salon, when I was ready to cut around 13 inches off my unruly curly hair to donate to Locks of Love. Id never had a better haircut in my life! For once the shape of my curls really stood out. My husband had been apprehensive about the price, but he admitted it was worth it since I had never been happy with my hair. I no longer ever try to straighten it, and I also need to cut it less frequently since the style holds it shape better when the curls are cut properly. Followed her to Mint and have had cuts with both her and Sharada- would highly recommend either one to any curly girl!
This review is about the owner of the salon, Jordan, and not about the other stylists working there as Ive only had good experiences with Dominique and Gabby. My daughter went in for a color and cut and was left dissatisfied with both. She felt that she communicated what she wanted clearly to the stylist but got something very different. OK these things happen. Hair can be tricky. We went back to the salon for my daughter to get her hair fixed and basically they said we had to pay for the services again. My daughter left the the salon and on our way out we saw the owner of the salon and told her about the situation. The owners tone from the very beginning was condescending. She continued to talk about how hair color works and how my daughter shouldnt have these expectations that it would come out exactly how she wanted it right off the bat. Yes, this is true, but my daughter frequently goes to the Deva Curl salon in Culver City so she is very well aware of the process. And who knows her own hair better than her? The conversation was very confrontational and I had asked Jordan to change her tone with us several times. The conversation finally ended with her saying she would give us our money back and I quote Get off my property! Just get off my property!. WOW. She has no business running a salon and treating customers this way. I realize by the way she spoke to us that we would never get an apology out of her, even though she had my daughter in tears today.
I just went in for first ever Deva Cut and was left completely transformed. Ive always had bad experiences at salons (to the point that I had even packed a hat in my bag just in case it turned out terrible because I was going straight to work after my appointment). Dominique brought my curls back to life. Ive never seen them so juicy and hydrated before. This salon is literally heaven sent. Im getting my engagement pictures done this weekend so I was really betting everything on this appointment, and honestly Im so glad that I did! Highly recommend.
I LOVE Mint salon. The atmosphere is comfortable, retro, warm and welcoming. All the hair stylists are so kind and have their own sense of personality and style. Rachel Robach is my go to girl there. I honestly would not let anyone else in the world color my hair! She has transformed my hair from a bleached mess to a gorgeous copper orange and yellow ombre. I get compliments on my hair often and I owe it all to her!
The entire experience at this salon is amazing! The staff went so far above and beyond for me, calming my anxiety, understanding my allergies and making sure I was 100 percent satisfied! Mary cut my hair so beautifully, I have never loved a cut this much.
Went to Mint following my stylist GiGi and it was an amazing experience. Beautiful salon and very relaxing. Everyone was so sweet and friendly. Gigi knows my hair, and keeps me looking and feeling good!!
I went in to get a cut and balayage from Rachel. She was fantastic! I love how my hair turned out. I’ve never lightened my hair before so I didn’t really know entirely what I wanted, but she definitely exceeded my expectations. She was also super chill and relaxed during the whole process.
Staff is very warm and friendly. Great stylists. As a person with curly hair who likes to wear it curly, it is so refreshing to finally find a salon that not only knows how to cut curly hair but doesnt make you feel like you should be wearing it straight. Highly recommend.

Love, love, love Mint Salon! After moving to Rochester I had multiple bad haircuts and finally found Maggie at Mint Salon. I only trust Maggie with my hair, she always cuts it/colors it exactly how I want it! The staff is so friendly!I also recently had my eyebrows microshaded by the amazing Yoona who did an AMAZING job! My brows looks amazing, Yoona was awesome, she took her time, was super precise and the overall experience was super professional! Highly recommend
I love getting minty! This salon is a gem - the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and these betties are through-and-through professionals who know their curls (and waves). Both Rachel and Lacey have given me excellent cuts, and Lacey created a purple-y balayage for me today that is stunning. I would recommend this salon to anyone!
It is very difficult to find someone who knows how to care for naturally curly hair. Natural curls is what they do and they do it well!Your hair is cut when dry so they can see how it behaves. Maggie was wonderful! She is the first person to ever recognize I purposely part my hair in a way to minimize my cowlick. She actually listened and paid attention.There was no upselling or sales push. I was very happy with how she cut and styled my hair....highly recommend!
Mint was recommended to me by a friend. Today I took my teen in for a cut and to add color to her hair. The staff are all kind and friendly, and my daughter and I were pleased with her fresh, new style. We will most definitely return.
I have been meaning to leave this review since I got my hair highlighted back in April. I had a fantastic experience with Sharada who did both my consult and my color. I had never had my hair dyed before, so I had a lot of questions. Not only did Sharada take the time to answer all of them during the consult, but was also very patient with my extra questions and color indecisiveness during my appointment. In the end I loved the color and was happy with the service.Overall, I had a great experience and plan to go back. For women with curly hair, I know it can be particularly tough to find a salon that knows what theyre doing. If youre in Rochester, look no further!

While I was excited to find a salon that says it caters to curly hair, I was disappointed by the outcome of my appointment. I had requested the wash and style which was going well until it came to drying my hair. I was asked to come out from the hair dryer well before my hair was dry, and whilst the stylist did my ends with a diffuser, the majority of my hair was still wet. I was surprised that the appointment was over when she said that with the heat outside my hair would dry and the style would set, but airdrying curly hair causes it to shrink, so I ended up with a odd pixie-cut looking style with the hair at the front relatively stretched and dry and the back completely curling up and damp. It was very uncomfortable to walk around with and have the water from my hair occasionally dripping as I went about my day. Whilst the steps the stylist explained were comprehensive as she washed and conditioned my hair, and the products seemed to work well with my hair type, I feel like the process was rushed and that I was ushered out by a set time regardless of the state of my hair. I ended up putting my hair in two braids so as to prevent it from tangling as it dried. I most likely wont be visiting again as the outcome was so disappointing, and Im not sure how well the salon caters to the curlier hair types considering the outcome of my appointment.
Ive been going to Mint since it opened, and have been a client of the owners since two salons before she opened Mint! My service there is always really personal, whether its a cut or an updo. Highly recommend if you need someone who knows what theyre doing with curls!
I’ve always struggled with my curly hair. I wanted to know what to do to make them healthy. I came in Mint Salon this morning and Lacey told me exactly what my hair needed. She listened to what my goals were and helped me where I struggled. I came out feeling amazing and confident about myself. DEFINITELY going back!!
Worth the $40. This was my first haircut since growing my curls out from a buzz cut. Leah took the time to learn about my personality to come up with a haircut to match - asymmetrical bob. She taught me how to properly care for my curls, making them way curlier than I thought they were, and matched me up with products that I ended up buying because I was so impressed with the results.
I would not recommend Dominique from Mint Salon. I had hair past my shoulders. When Dominique got done with my hair it was just barely past my ears and extremely uneven. I had to go to another salon to get it fixed. I did contact the salon and they where not willing to do anything to fix the situation. For the amount of money they charge it’s not worth it. Very disappointed.
Stylists were friendly and down-to-earth. Very relaxing environment. There was no pressure to feel as if you had to purchase more services or products, but the option was still there. These ladies know what they’re doing with curly hair!
Rachael cut my hair and touched up my color. I loved my cut and I have had many compliments :) I have been going to Mint for a few years now. I have also seen Maggie & Lacie for color. I like everyone there.

From the minute I walked in all of the staff made me feel welcome, taking my coat and offering a drink. The salon is a upbeat environment and I had the pleasure of having Lacey transform my hair!! Will definately return.
This is certainly a hidden gem of a salon. Every employee is extremely kind and helpful. My favorite part of my experiences here is that I know that I can completely trust my hairdresser, Rachel, to give me exactly what I want because shes clearly very knowledgeable and does a great job every time.

The staff at Mint are top notch! Every experience I’ve had with everyone there has been superior. They are knowledgeable, well-spoken, courteous and friendly. I can’t recommend Mint enough. I drive 65 miles to get there- I think that speaks for itself!
If youve got finicky curly hair get thee to Mint stat! This is the 3rd time Ive followed Jordan to a salon since moving to Rochester 4 years ago. This time Jordan is the owner and has created a cool little salon that caters to the curly headed folks. I will probably follow her to the ends of the earth since she is the first stylist to cut my hair without leading to tears or self attempts to fix the cut. She really knows what shes doing and offers great suggestions. I havent had a cut from her new stylist Sharada, but Jordan trained her in the curl-fu which in my book makes her a trust worthy stylist.
I saw Yoona to have my eyebrows microbladed. She was extremely attentive to my wishes, namely that my brows would look natural. They came out beautifully!I’ve also been coming to see the Mint betties for over a year as I grew out my short cut to a head full of beautiful curls. They’ve been so helpful in coaching me through the growing out phases and making my natural curls look amazing!
Dominique did a wonderful job!!! She was able to shape my hair and bring my curls back to life. 100/10 would recommend.
WARNING: DO NOT PATRON THIS BUSINESS! - I showed the stylist a picture of an inverted bob, about shoulder length. The haircut I ended up with was above the shoulders, not inverted, with a second, very distinct layer about 3 inches shorter. She cut short layers around my face which is the opposite the picture I showed and exactly what I was trying to avoid.I went back for a fix. I did not expect to get the haircut I originally showed her in the picture, that just wouldnt be possible at that point; I just wanted the 2 layers blended and several uneven spots fixed. The second time was even worse. The stylist could tell that I was not happy with the fix and offered to refund my money, she offered, I never brought it up. I accepted, so she took down my info, but they never refunded me or followed up with me even after I called a a week later. The owner never came over to me or spoke to me even when I asked to speak to her.They would have had my business back if they had refunded me my money like they promised. I would have had the owner cut my hair instead. I appreciate their specialty in cutting curly hair. But the way it all ended up, I cant, in good conscious, recommend this business to anyone. Im left with an awful haircut. Its too short to tie back, and too many choppy uneven spots to pin back right. It looks like a small child cut my hair. I wish I could post a picture of the one I showed the stylist comparing it with the haircuts I got.

If you’re looking for polite and professional attitudes be advised to look elsewhere. I had an appointment that was cancelled with no notice given to me, which meant I showed up to a closed up shop wasting half my day trying to contact them to find out what happened. It was cancelled due to COVID, of which I am completely understanding, but tell the client!! They didn’t email, call, or post anywhere (website, social media, a sign on the salon door) that they were closed. When I pointed this out to them (via a typed message) I was greeted with snark and told “they only accept kindness right now” and that I was “yelling at them”. Weird, I thought they accepted cash and credit. Either way I’ll take my money and my kindness elsewhere and you should too.
Love, love, love what they do to my hair! Jordan is indeed an expert in curls. I get compliments on her handy work all the time. And the salon is relaxing and has a great atmosphere.
I took my mother for micro blading. It was my first time at the salon as well as hers. We were introduced to Yoona who was going to be doing my mom’s eyebrows. My mother was definitely anxious about the whole process since it was her very first time but Yoona definitely helped ease her nerves by explaining everything to her in detail and asking her how she was doing throughout the whole process. My mom asked for natural looking eyebrows and Yoona did a phenomenal job at delivering! If you’ve ever thought about having micro blading done I highly recommend going to her. You will not be disappointed!!

Another great visit! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and actually have a discussion with you about your hair. They listen to you what you like and want, but will also give you suggestions - that’s how I ended up with a cut I can manage but in a great strawberry blonde color for summer!
Jordans been doing my wifes curly hair for years, and today she did a wonderful job on my 2 year old daughters curly hair as well! Highly recommend.

Yoona microbladed my eyebrows and she was awesome. She was really attentive to me and really cared about the look I wanted to achieve.She made me really comfortable and we laughed and joked together and it was a great experience!Also, mostly pain free experience which was a bonus!

I went for a PINTURA which is what i requested, only because is less damaging than regular highlights .didnt really do much research on it..so i go they put FOIL!!!!!!on my hair.Long story short. They fried my hair..i requested to speak with a manager , over a month later nobody has gotten a hold of me

2019-02-01I got my brow microbladed by Yoona and could not be more satisfied with the result. I have naturally straight brows with a slight arch, so it can be quite hard to find the right shape to frame my face, but she made sure to help me visualize what the end result would look like and that I was completely okay with each step that she took. It has been about four months since I have gotten my brows microbladed, and even though I havent had the chance to go for a touch up, they still look great! The salon is also incredibly clean, and the entire staff is very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend!

2021-04-08I brought my daughter to Mint 6 months ago. She received an alright haircut for a lot of money. The staff made another appointment 6 months out. I was sent an email reminder which I never saw or opened. I received a call that I missed the appointment and was charged 70 dollars. I called back and explained the situation and received no help. If I was given a refund I would have considered returning and spent 3 times the money. However, I will now never return and will never recommend this salon to anyone. Not worth your time. Very poor business model.

I took my daughter there for her first salon appointment, and I went the week after. I would recommend Mint Salon to everyone!

2021-12-04I brought my son in to get a kids haircut and although they did an alright job I don’t think it was worth $80.. it took her not even 10 minutes to cut his hair & there are still some areas I feel like she should’ve cut more because the dead ends are still there. I would never recommend paying $80 for a kids hair cut .. definitely not worth it. Beautiful salon though and I’m sure they do a good job on other things but if they’re going to charge so much for a kids hair cut it’s just a rip off honestly.

2020-01-29I had my first cut today with Lacey and she was PHENOMENAL!! I haven’t trusted anyone with my hair in forever and she transformed it. She brought life to my curls I haven’t seen in years. She broke down the process in a simple way that was easy to follow and gave a wonderful experience. The salon has a great atmosphere and all of the team members are kind and knowledgeable. I will be returning and making this my regular salon!!

2020-09-12I was struggling to find a hair salon that knew how to cut curly hair. When I made my first appointment with Dominique it was life changing !! we set down talked about how i took care of my hair, what i was looking to do and what long term results i wanted out of it. During every step of the cut she told me what she was doing and why she was doing it, and i was able to recreate the same steps at home. She is super friendly and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my curls !!

2019-09-20I called Mint Salon around noon today to see if by some miracle, Jordan had a cancellation. She did not. Rachel was the stylist that answered. I know and appreciate her knowledge and personality, but have never gone to her. When I inquired about her availability, she not only told me that she would be able to give me an “existing client “ Devacut at 5:00, today, but took the time to answer some questions.We chatted a bit about what I was looking for for a style when I got there at 5. I am transitioning my almost black natural curls to natural silver and she was very encouraging.Rachel did a really great job on my curls and made me feel like she really cared that I was comfortable with the way my hair looked. She said to stop in if there was something that I thought she could “fix”.I found out that Rachel would be working at their second, newest salon after October 1st. I an happy to get my hair styled at either location, and I now have 2 stylists whom I really like!Thanks Rachel! 💇🏻♀️💇♀️

2021-01-31I went to see Jordan and I am so glad I did! She taught me how to better style my wavy hair and did a curl cut on me! I looked amazing when she finished. She was very friendly and knew what she was doing.. if you have curly hair you should go see her!
