Huge fan! Didnt think Id be able to eat much after a huge dinner, but it was so good that a new compartment in my stomach opened and I didnt end up giving it all to my husband. The waffle was also very good. Light and fluffy and really added to the treat. The guy working was also super nice and somehow fit all the toppings we wanted on the ice cream, so props to him. Lol
I really enjoyed the experience of seeing the chef rolling up the ice cream into rolls and putting them lined up in between the egg waffle. It was very pleasant to eat, it wasn’t very rich or creamy, however, it tasted pretty good. I would say it’s definitely a good place to come to once in a while, otherwise enjoy guys :)
I came here after dinner as I was craving something sweet. I was debating between a rolled ice cream or a drink. I settled on a drink because the indoor seating was starting to get filled up. I got the brown sugar milk tea in large. The boba was delicious and sweet but, the milk tea itself was very weak and kinda tasteless. I might come back to try their rolled ice cream for $8 because you can get unlimited toppings.
So in celebration of the first day of summer my daughter and I went for ice cream, I wanted to try this place so we went and now theres NO TURNING BACK ! Customer service was amazing, just like the ice cream, which is made right in front of you. I wouldnt recommend the sugar cone topping which is what I got, it was not very good but still Gabe a 5* because the kid that made our was AWESOME! Great place, with GREAT ICE CREAM.
I had a 40 minutes waiting time at Favor 99. Since I had nothing to do, I started roaming around the area and stumbled upon this ice cream shop.Im not really an Ice Cream fan and I went there to get an iced coffee, it was strange an ice cream parlor only had hot beverages. Anyway, I decided to try their Summer Lovin ice cream made with vanilla Ice cream rolled with banana mangoes and unlimited toppings of your choice! All for just $8. Its a deal for steal!
I came here when it was super cold outside and I had just gotten out of work with a burnt tongue because of super hot coffee. I love rolled ice cream. You get to watch it being made. I was on the phone with a friend and when I got my ice crea I was enchanted. The ice cream was beautiful and delicious. I quickly hung up the phone and enjoyed my ice cream without having any distractions. My burnt tongue was healed by the cold deliciousness of the ice cream.
Delicious ice cream. ❤️🍦I highly recommend to get the ice cream with a waffle. The waffle is super fluffy and goes well with the ice cream. They offer a limited amount of flavours, I went with the thai ice tea flavour. You should go with the DIY rolled ice. You can add up to three toppings into the ice cream and unlimited toppings on top. They have a great variety of toppings, Im sure there will be something for you.The staff is super friendly. They forgot my wifes bubble tea and we waited longer since there were other customers. They gave here another bubble tea to make up for the waiting time.I definitely come back and get another delicious ice.
My kids had a great time watching the icecream be made and choosing their toppings. Visited on a Saturday night it was a bit busy since the store is very small but the 2 workers were very efficient and paid attention to detail and accurately got all the toppings my kids wanted on their icecream. The icecream is very fresh and creamy. Its a perfect balance of sweetness where adding the extra toppings wont send you into a sugar coma. Definitely worth the $8.00 we will be going back.
The ice cream was fabulous and the price was reasonable. It takes a while to prepare so dont expect to be able to walk in and out. I like being able to see them make your treat. They start with a liquid, add your toppings and miss them together as the ice cream freezes, them they spread it flat, cut it into strips and roll the strips. I was surprised at how filling it was; I got a small size and could barely finish it.
I dont really crave sweets or like Im not that picky. I used to come very often and I visit from time to time with friends now because not only does it taste good, the people there are really nice!! The rolled ice cream has a variety of different flavors from Western to Asian flavors or neutral. Im Cantonese so I was so excited they make the Hong Kong style mini waffle cakes. Please give this store a try!
$8 24oz Oreo milkshake made with 2 Oreos. The place is lined with Oreo boxes and you’d think they’d spare more than 2 cookies for a shake that size. To add sweetness, they threw in some simple syrup and because they’re so cheap they used a scoop of ice cream and about 16oz of ice instead of just ice cream. Total ripoff.
Overall, it was a good ice cream experience. The place was really organized and the ice cream rolls were exquisitely refreshing. There is only one thing I would critique and it is the walffles. The waffles yielded a off-putting texture that was gelatinous and chewy. But by all means, dont feel pressured. It is okay if you like to maintain your current quality of ice cream and waffles.
Absolutely great rolled ice cream!!I was there about one and half years ago so thing might have changed, but when I was there I was great. I ordered the matches ice cream with: toasted marshmallow, lychee, raspberry, Mochi, poki stick and oreo, and it was pretty delicious. The fact that you could get all the toppings you wanted kinda blew my mind, and the guy that worked there was really nice. I was there with my mom who couldnt really decide what she wanted one her ice cream, so he asked if he should make one for her, and he did a great job! We even came back the next day to get it again, and theres also a really nice Vietnamese restaurant just down the street from it.
Visited NY before and had some ice cream at this place. Was really good and unique. Friend from China and said this place ice cream is really good and tastes very asian - not too sweet. If you are looking for asian tasting ice cream then go here.Asian sweets and snacks have a different taste.
Not that good because on the grand opening, I was watching them make the ice cream and they were really slow. Actually, their system for the store was slow. My sister also complains about how warm so she thinks that the extract they used were spoiled. Please make the ice cream faster and keep it cool conditioned for a better review. Thanks!
Ingredient list is noticeably limited compared to other Thai rolled ice cream shops downtown. Suggested combinations aren’t too creative. Be careful not to read the “toppings” menu as an ingredient list. I got Oreo thinking it would be mixed into the ice cream as it is at most other places, but nope, just one plain Oreo on top at the end.
They have a unlimited toppings for free and I bought a 2 scoop vanilla ice cream for 5.61 the price is very cheap consider the amount they give and you can sit down inside free wifi and chill with your friends while your at it it probabaly not the best ice cream but definitely helps to get the job done
Unique and fun! I went there with some friends and got the match madness base (matcha + strawberry base) with mochi, strawberries, mango, lychee, pocky, and condensed milk (toppings are unlimited!). It was delicious! There was quite a wait though. The line was to the door when we got there, but the line to make our order was just the first part. After we ordered, we had to wait a while before they could even get around to making our orders. If you have the time, its a fun and yummy dessert to get with friends!
This is such an awesome ice cream place. They take making ice cream to a whole other level. Its like watching an artist when watching them do their thing. From rolling up the ice cream to torching mini marshmallows with a mini blow torch, its definitely an experience.
This place is fire!!!... Or ice cold if you will.1. Theres a couple of toppings that they dont serve anymore (when they 1st opened) like honey; they also make you pick your toppings at the being of your order [instead of putting on toppings as you go along, which I perfer] but it aint a big problem deal.2. They have new additions to the menu such the Hong Kong Egg Waffle.3. The customer service is still top notch from when they 1st opened up, quick & exquisite service.Bonus* irs mesmerizing to watch them build your creation. Which you can find evidence of on social media.
Stopped by midday, no line - YaY! Which also meant no reason to rush and ruin my order but my order was ruined. There was only one staff behind the counter, while the staff was quick to come to my attention I asked for a minute to look at the menu which follow immediately with the staff resuming his attention to his mobile device. I understand it was midday and there is slow foot traffic, but try not to use your mobile device at work in front of customers, it is very unprofessional. I ordered the Summer Lovin which comes with banana and mango chunks and unlimited toppings. The rolls came out nicely, but I dont know why the staff decided cram two rolls into the bottom of the container and placed the other 4 rolls on top of the smushed 2 rolls. End result, taste: mango was not ripe so it was a bit sour, visual: ice rolls looked lopsided due to the uneven base created by the smushed 2 rolls in the bottom.

2022-01-23The service was pretty quick. I ordered the number 1 and asked for the waffle to be added on the side. I added my own pocky to it and placed the waffle bits on it since it was a to go order. Looks appetizing but the ice cream wasnt very flavorful. I love rolled ice cream and this didnt have as much flavor as I wouldve wanted. The place has super cool art work on the walls! Its quite fitting and contributes to the vibe of it here.

2022-07-09The ice cream was good, but not my favorite. It was too sweet and not really frozen how I like it. When you put your spoon in the ice cream and the way they put it it just melts And is like really sweet yogurt. No place to sit either very small place and very busy 🤷♀️

2022-06-27Its a very small space, but the food is worth it. You got to have an option of rolled ice cream, bubble milk tea, milkshakes ,smoothies or regular ice cream. I got the special number four, which was the caramel crunch. Inside a contains vanilla with caramel plus sugar cone plus chocolate chips all mixed in together. I also added the waffle cone and it was just a beautiful mix of flavors. Sugar fins but where cuz this place will have you hooked!!

2022-06-27The rolled ice cream and waffles are great. They have unlimited toppings on the rolled ice cream ranging from whole bananas to mochi. They also have bubble tea that I havent tried, but Id imagine its good. I got the rolled coffee ice cream with coconut shavings and I liked it.

2022-07-18I’ve already had one ice cream today, so the second pic is my secondairyA warm weekend would usually call for something cold, but add the topical storm force rain and wind, and the weekend really called for something super cool, maybe even in the negatives Celsius. @minuscelsiusicecream had exactly what we needed! I created my own sundae with chocolate ice cream, chocolate chips, chocolate syrup, and caramel syrup all rolled up together into these ribbons. Swipe to the end to see them make it! My friend ordered their Crazy Cookie signature creation - vanilla ice cream with @oreo and topped it off with a custom edition of chocolate syrup and whipped cream. We took it to go since the shop was small and the weather was terrible, so the whipped cream flattened a bit - but it was still amazing!

2022-05-07If you want a cold treat on a hot day, this is the spot to visit. This is the first place I tried rolled ice cream in NYC and I will say it was pretty good. I got the cookies and cream with waffle and mini mochi sprinkled on top. It was very filling and don’t let the photo fool you - it was a huge portion. There are standing counters and a few small tables on the inside. Nothing like people watching from their window counter and enjoying a summer snack.

2021-07-10Loved it. They actually make ice cream from scratch in front of you. I ordered an icecream which was coffee based mixed with mango, chocolate chips and oreo. It was good but I think if you want dominating mango flavor, go with vanilla base. Additionally, you get unlimited toppings for free. So, choose all the toppings you love 😀

2021-11-30I took the caramel crunch ice cream witb waffle... It is tasty and flavorful....crispy as it has cornflakes amd chocolate chips inside.... The portion was big for me.I believe 2 people can share one.If they would reduce the price and make a smaller size it would be perfect, or have a size choice would be better.Unfortunately the place doesnt have a toilet.

2021-11-20Not a fan of the egg waffle.. taste exactly like egg. My whole family ended up throwing them out. Waste of money. Dont recommend if you dont like the taste of egg and ice-cream. The ice-cream itself was good. Loved there was unlimited toppings. So fun watching them make it too. No place to really sit down and eat though so just keep that in mind when going. Still recommend.
