2020-10-29Awful place tourist trap. Would not recommend this place for any reason first the prices are as high as you can imagine but I mean even higher than what you will expect in the city. Second and more important is that the owner treatment of customer (or what seem as the owner base on the way he behaves). This goes beyond anything you would consider normal its almost feel he doesnt like that people are coming in the store. I would just continue two blocks down or up youll find another much more polite managed wine and liquor store.

2017-03-13I only ever get wine here, for my wife. These guys are always great. For those who know wine, they have a great selection. And their prices are a lot lower than neighborhood places. ***PRO-TIP: They are one of the only places around that has de-alcoholized wine, Ariel.

2013-11-25I have been going to Mitchells for about 4 1/2 years, and they have always had the best pricing. There are about 8-10 other liquor stores within a 3 block radius, and all of them are more expensive than Mitchells. The selection of wines are pretty good. And as far as regular liquor goes, they have everything. But again - the prices are always much lower than everyone else.

2020-04-02I called this store to ask for a bottle of fireball to see if the have the 750ml. A old man answered the phone with rude actitud and when I asked him if he have this kind of bottle , he told me no!! We don’t sell that size of bottle just the 1 liter ! I was ok ! Let me have this other brand . And he just hang up the phone on me. worst service.

2017-12-22I can see why this place only has 3 star average. WOW the “manager” at the register was an unhappy, unfriendly, unhelpful person. I can’t speak for their other employees but this “manager” really made this a disappointing experience and is not a great personality to have at the front of the store.

2015-08-19Ive been going to Mitchells since the day it opened decades ago. Maybe its under new management? The staff doesnt seem to understand whats being said. Today, I bought a bottle of wine. When the wine was delivered, I saw the seal was broken. I called and asked Mitchells to deliver an undamaged bottle in exchange for the damaged one; they refused and hung up on me. I spoke to someone whose name I believe was Martell. The wine selection is good but the customer service, which once was so personal and good, is ridiculous and insulting.

2010-07-11I have been going to them for the past three years... and they tend to carry a good selection of wine... they will very usually carry the bartenura moscato and malvasia (which are the sweet wines ppl will like) but they will also have fancier wines... Im happy with the service too. Theres three latin american guys there who are very nice, helpful and know enough to help when it comes to the kosher selection

2017-06-04The owner was very helpful with selection. I was in and out quickly, and wasnt disappointed with what I bought. They take credit, debit and cash. I recommend!
