Best LI sushi spot we have come across to date. Unique menu, best hand roll Ive ever had. The nori actually had perfectly crisp texture.. and flavor!? Service is also above and beyond. Sake menu 👌 Seriously impressed. Take all our money..
Overall delicious food and very friendly service. Portion is decent - I personally ordered a specialty roll and a regular roll and they were quite filling already. I would recommend this place if you need to satisfy your sushi craving and have a decent budget.

Amazing service! I came with my friend, Ramon, who said it was the best sushi he ever had. Im not sure Im the best sushi grader in the world, but the sushi, salmon bento box, and service were out of this world. Plus, everything was reasonably priced. If I loved in the area I would definitely make it my go to sushi spot.
Moved into the area a few months now and have tried mizu twice and both times I was extremely happy with the food. Ive only ordered out but I can only imagine how much better everything would be when dining in. On my second time ordering I picked up in person and the gentleman working in the front was extremely kind and pleasant (especially with the crazy snow storm that day). He knows how to speak to and treat clients. Both food and service are great, and from what Ive seen inside this is a really clean and well kept restaurant for those who want to dine in. Highly recommend!

Dropped in for lunch. Ordered the teriyaki salmon bento box and a futomaki roll. The teriyaki sauce was pretty weak and the futomaki roll had different than usual ingredients.

Just left Mizu Sushi. This was our first time. DID NOT DISAPPOINT. From the minute we walked in we were hooked. Greeted by friendly faces and treated with utmost professionalism. We just moved to the neighborhood and decided to try a couple of Mizus specialty rolls and tempura box. It was the best we’ve ever had. The customer service was above and beyond. The owner himself treated us like family.
Nice place and great service. Went for lunch with my son on a Saturday. He had 3 Maki rolls with soup. I had combo plate of 4pcs of Sushi and 7 Sashimi with soup. Total before tip was $30+. Will definitely return.
The chefs are extremely creative. The food tastes even better than it looks. Super fresh fish and amazing cooked food. With the excellent service, a real winner and on my best of the best list. For quick recommendation, live scallops, crispy duck roll, tuna sashimi, tuna pizza, crispy fish of the day in hot chili sauce. Also get the Kettle One, only $8.50 each.

The fish is very, very fresh. It is really amazing! Owner frankie is very nice and very polite. I like him very much. This is my first time. I will tell everyone that they must try mizus sushi. Ordered take out using their app on a Saturday night. First time ordering from Mizu. App said my order would be ready at 6:51. Got there at 6:50 and order wasnt ready yet. They told me 15 minutes. Waited 15 minutes, still not ready. Had to wait another 15 minutes til I received my order. As for the food....the seafood soup was excellent. Wifey liked the vegetable udon soup. Sushi was a mixed bag: salmon toro was delicious, moist and fatty. The takosu (octopus) was dry and chewy. Other sushi and rolls were just ok.

Our family went to mizu for dinner on Monday! It is very, very difficult to find an authentic sushi now! But mizu satisfies everything I have, no exaggeration! Warm decor, excellent service, delicious sushi 10/10. Frankie recommended us the special oyster shot that day! I have never eaten. I ordered tuna sashimi and eel avo roll. Sashimi so sweet. Being a Japanese mizu seems to bring me back that feeling. Finally Frankie bid us farewell and gave us a mochi ice cream! This Monday night made me very, very unforgettable. Mizu is a hidden gem. We will see you soon. Highly recommended!

I came to mizu by a friends introduction. I am a sushi lover! A great experience, the chef is very good, we ate the lobster sashimi that day, I have never had such a delicious lobster, the lobster taste is very fresh and very sweet! We still had the special roll romanti roll and mizu special roll, which are really great! Finding an authentic sushi in Long Island is very, very difficult, but mizu gave me a different experience. Frankie is very nice. Everything is under his control! Highly recommend 10/10👍

2022-04-15This is a small restaurant along a busy street but dont let that stop you. The Mizu is comfortable and cozy with wonderful service. The sushi served is creative and top notch. Dont forget to order sake with your meal for a perfect combination of great flavors.

2021-09-20After a long day at adventure land amusement park we decided to go get some hibachi and sushi; which we love very much. Very happy with customer service and cleanliness the restaurant has been able to keep. Sushi bar and the view inside is super nice and decorated stunningly. The waitress really did her thing with the kids and very friendly and we love that very much. She saw my wife seemed cold and asked if she wanted them to up the temp for her “that was a first ever” that a restaurant was willing to accommodate to such extreme! Food was amazing and drinks were very good. We did three entrees which were steak,chicken,lobster with white rice, fried rice and some noodles. Had some sushi and it was very flavorful. 5 min from adventure land and highly recommend, we called an hour before going for reservation for 7 of us and were accommodated right away when calling and getting there. Thank you very much.

2022-02-15This place is so good and the wait staff is super nice and accommodating. I have had a couple of large dinner parties here (over 8 people) and they were super attentive and were able to accommodate us last minute. The food is excellent and they have this Japanese whiskey that is delicious! On Valentine’s Day they decorated it super cute and gave every girl a rose on the way out it was super unexpected and sweet!

2022-01-27Love this place. Either you dine in or take out food. Its excellent food and service. Fast and very clean surroundings. I highly recommend this place. Always come back. So happy we found this place. Come and check out this place you wont be sorry.

2022-04-12Love this place. Service is always great. Food is even better. Always great food. Sushi rolls are amazing. I always get the signature rolls and i wish i could eat them all day. Went there many times and always five stars.
