Food is OK but very bad customer service. I have visited twice, it’s the worst Moe’s to go to. The employees have an attitude. There is a language barrier and when you repeat what you want so they can understand, you can see the attitude on their facial expressions. The girl who served me even rolled her eyes. It’s good that they have the employees wear their name tags but I’ll be nice to them I won’t mention their names on the review. It clearly shows that they are just doing a job, but don’t care about the customers and good customer service. I do Not recommend going there.
Who is preparing these online orders. They always forget something or mess up orders. Ordered a bowl with poco de Gallo and they literally gave me like 4 pieces of tomatoes. Ordered hard shell tacos and they gave me soft tacos. SMH used to love this place.
Tried it for the first time it was excellent we had the kit that you make your own tacos soft tacos in hard tacos have to try it again to see if its consistent
Great food, limited options but it is high quality and tastes great no matter what you order. Satisfactory covid procedures. Sometimes the restaurant gets really busy, other times you still have to wait a long time to order your food in line just because they take online orders as they come in. It’s like people that order online get to cut the line. Kind and patient staff working.
I spent $55 here on food for ALEXA to roll her eyes and give an attitude while and AFTER she did my food. Wearing a mask doesnt fully hide your facial expressions Alexa! Your manager should write you up for the service you provided today!! YOUR THE REASON WHY I DID NOT LEAVE A TIP!
IF YOU COME AFTER 8:30PM THE STAFF WILL TELL YOU THEY ARE CLOSING SOON AND BE INCREDIBLY RUDE TO YOU EVEN THOUGH THE RESTAURANT CLOSES AT 10PM.I’ve been to this location multiple times. I work during the day so often I get to the restaurant between 8:30PM and 9PM leaving about an hour to an hour and a half before the restaurant closes.However the staff at this location starts to close an hour early every single night and they will take their aggression out on customers who walk in after 8:30PM.They loudly start dragging chairs and flinging tables across the restaurant while customers are eating at tables and will talk loudly and repeatedly about how they are closing soon.Every single time I’ve come I’ve walked out of the restaurant and finished eating well before 10PM. I have never pushed the limits of forced them to stay open later than their posted hours. The workers here are simply lazy and rude and want to go home early every single night because they are probably paid an hourly wage and therefore don’t care about the customers at all because there appears to be no competent management above them to let them know that their job security is dependent on customer satisfaction.I probably won’t be eating here going forward. Especially not after 8:30PM. I recommend anyone else does the same unless you enjoy someone sweeping dirt next to you while you eat while that same person shouts across the restaurant to the other employees about how they want to go home because they’re closing soon.
This place has been great everytime I visit.1st visit:Went with my girlfriend whos never had Moes before. She had asked the server what he recommends and he went through a plethora of combinations with her as she built a burrito she thoroughly enjoyed.2nd visit:I arrived just 8 minutes before closing after working all day and just wanted a quick bite before heading home. They were in the process of cleaning up since the place was empty. The employees seemed unsure if they should serve me but the manager came right out and said of course and served me himself. He was very patient and understanding from the way he treated me as any customer during the day. I appreciated his customer service in its entirety.3rd visit:The server was courteous, gave a nice amount for every ingredient I chose and allowed me to grab a slice of lime next to the salsa for him to squeeze onto the burrito. He also gave me a large amount of chips and it was greatly appreciated as I had skipped lunch that day.All in all, this place has been great so far with a big highlight on their customer service.
Delicious food. They have a free salsa bar and it’s quite delicious to eat with the actual food. Their kid portions are great, and they get a cookie and a drink for 6 bucks. Great food. Although, their meat quality isnt the best but its fine.
The food was good in flavor but they majorly skipped on my meal. 11 dollars for a burrito bowl with steak, Pico de gallo,cheese, black beans, cilantro, and jalapeños. I dont eat rice so maybe they figured Im on a diet? Cause it was maybe 3oz of steak, 3 jalapenos, a sprinkle of cheese....Anyway, Ill just go to chipotle from now on.
Food was delicious and plentiful! Excellent and timely catering with great labeling on each meal tray and arrangement in the designated area with no prompting or assistance.Ordering process was smooth and courteous which is important corporate orders.
Still a good place to eat but they got rid of a lot of menu items in favor of build your own option. And, due to Covid, salsa bar is gone and you have to ask for it.
At first, I didnt really like Mexican food, but decided to give it a try. WAS I SURPRISED! The meal selection was excellent, fresh food prepared right in front of your face, it was truly an exciting experience! Moes Southwest Grill has Chipotle and Taco Bell BEAT HANDS DOWN! They have a variety of salsa sauces, from mild to INSANELY HOT, all freshly made every day, no packaged stuff here! They have fresh lemon and lime wedges to add to your eating experience. And they have a Green pepper Tabasco sauce that will make the strongest of Men/Woman break out in a SWEAT FRENZY! If you want authentic Southwest Mexican Cuisine, Moes Southwest Grill is the place I highly recommend this establishment. Check it out for yourself, you wont be disappointed!
I ordered lunch through Uber Eats a few weeks ago, I had ordered an extra add on of guac and when I received my order it was not added but it was charged. I contacted the store manager who argued that he himself had put the order together and that it was on it. I hung up and let it go. I ordered lunch again today and 15 minutes before my order was scheduled to be delivered it was canceled by the Restuarant. I called the Restuarant asked for the manager to verify what had happenedand and he hung up on me. This manager at this location is very rude and unprofessional. If I was unhappy with my order the first time he should have tried to acomadeted my order or apologized. Not argue with me or deny me service the next time I ordered. His behavior is unacceptable and he should be reprimanded.
Service was fas and easy, I really enjoy their food but I dont know why they are so stingy and cheap with the meat I dont mind paying but Sometimes it feels like we are not getting our moneys worth

Made an online order tonight and when I arrived I had to wait almost 15 minutes for my meals. Makes no sense why to choose a pickup time if you still wind up waiting. Also got home and some items were missing from my order and it was too far to go back for them. Disappointed in the service this evening. Would have had more success waiting on the line and ordering in person.
I really enjoy their food but the quality is inconsistent at this location and they decide to charge you different prices at times if you dont pay attention
This was my first time going, I am NEVER paying $9 for a bowl that was not even anywhere near full, they were cheap when loading the bowl, the food was cold and I also ended up with stomach problems all night and the next day.
They have super fresh foods every time I visit. Line is long but they serve quickly. Salad is always my family’s favorite, even better than Chipotle.
Fresh, fresh, fresh. That’s what you get when you eat here. Everything is freshly made. Not left over nor frozen. You can not compare this to Taco Bell. This is way better. You always get fresh food & service with a smile here.
Quite the upgrade in experience from the Chipotle down the road. The staff is super friendly and offer you great options when youre unsure. The free nachos are sweet! The food is so good for the price and I know Im definitely going back!

The food is good but they are very skimpy on the meat. This is the only moes I have to order extra meat. when you ask them to put your burrito on the grill they argue with you. For a $15 Burrito The least they can do is put it on the grill.
Normally love this place but after todays service I don’t think I will back. The old woman who works here is incredibly rude. Over charged me & had to ask for the cup I paid for about 3 times. Also eye rolling the whole entire time. Disgusted with today’s visit
I come to this moes very often the food is always amazing which is why im giving it two stars but the staff is terrible, today i went and ordered a quesadilla and the guy who was making it barely put ingredients on it, was going fast i didnt even get to order beans on my quesadilla and i had to make him to back for the rice already and when i asked about the beans i was ignored and he passed my food on to the grill and there was no one behind me in line to be rushing like that, i dont even want to eat my meal because i feel like its all quesadilla and then when i asked for salsa and two large Queso i had to ask multiple times and they still forgot the salsa and i had to go back for it. I order the same thing pretty much all anytime i come here and yet its sometimes a different price Even though it shouldnt be changing back and forth everytime i let it go because i enjoy it but this today ruined moes for me and im not going to go here anymore which is sad because i live near moes and chipotle and would rather moes
FOOD WAS GREAT AND ALL That .. clean bathroom which is always good.. only problem is.. the owner ,manager ,supervisor.. whoever is in charge of this one in oceanside.. should encourage workers to be more friendly& happy .. not a great attitude for customers ..
This is the Moes which is closest to me. I like Moes in general and this one is pretty nice. Food always tastes good and the salsa bar is always full. The new Ghost Pepper Salsa is pretty good too...even if its not really all that hot.
Its Moes, good sized burritos with lots of decent filling. This place was comparable to any other Ive been to so if you frequent moes youll know what to expect. Everything was clean, efficient and good.
The food is always good but the service is sometimes not the best. I find it very rude when ur ordering and the person will start talking to there coworker in spanish and sometimes laughing. I dont speak Spanish and I dont know what there saying. So I wounder what they are laughing at. Is it me or did they say a joke to there coworker. There is onenough man that wears glasses here and he is very rude and arrogant but other wise the food it self is good and I would choose moes over Chipotle any day
The manager here is very unprofessional and extremely rude! He messed up my entire order, and refused to fix his mistakes. I feel like this was completely unfair to me and the children that I had to feed!
The flavor was bland and salty. I got a homewrecker which was less smaller than a chipotle burrito yet just as expensive. They had unsweeted black tea in the green tea container. And the salsa had a strange after taste. The place was loaded with highschool kids which is not the companys fault but did play a role in the experience. Spent 25 bucks for my wife, 16 mo. son and I. The best part of the whole meal was the Queso which was pretty dissapointing considering how the main part of the meal should have been. I gave Moes a shot one to many times. It just isnt as good as a Chipotle..
Good food, prices are okay. The staff was friendly. Bathrooms were clean. I had the JC with chicken. My wife had the overachiever. Both were delicious.
Get a stack. Period. Hands down the best item on the menu here and you wont regret it. Fill that monster up with some meat, a large helping of cheese, maybe some quac if you roll like. 5/5 stars.
Quick and courteous service. The food was great! My only issue was that the to go plate was not secured well, which I was fortunate emough to notice before the food shifted out of the plate.
Clean and fast service with your average selection of Mexican fare. They probably do the best quesadilla out of the major Mexican fast food spots. Better than Chipotle and Qdoba.

Had someone order me an EARMUFFS with no lettuce, tomato or onion. They didnt add anything but rice, ground beef and jalapenos and charged me 9.69! It is online showing everything thats in it, and came with NOTHING. Ridiculous...
Beyond disappointed. Showed up at 8:25 when they didnt close until 9. Only one kind of beans left. No pork. Numerous other sides missing. If you want to close at 8:25, then do that. But how do you just remove food and tell the customer that you dont have it anymore 35 minutes before closing? Wont be coming back.
Line was quick but Carlos behind the counter seemed to be dissatisfied with his job. He seemed to have no patience... not good customer service esp considering chipotle is a few doors down...

They are what of the few Mexican Grill that actually knows I to wrap a burrito and the portions were great 👍 However, I was not a fan of their guacamole.

When I went to Moes earlier today I asked for a medium cup of quaso. At the register I reminded the employee to put it in the bag but he didnt so I ended up paying $4.00 for a cup of quaso I never got.

2022-06-03In the past few years this Moes location specifically has gone down hill (i cant speak for the others). They cut ingredients from the guac, no longer have the same cups. Seems like theyre cutting things but yet prices continue to go up.In addition, staff is not really friendly. We went in close to an hour before they closed. No steak, no onions, not even cups for fountain soda. I understand prices of everything is increasing and I am okay with that but dont cut other things in addition.You cant start skimping on quality and also raising prices to compensate for rising costs. its one or the otherIve been a customer almost weekly for years and have seen this going on progressively. Going to have to try chipotle

2022-04-22I came to this Moe’s before and my burrito was about the length of my forearms and it was good. I came here today and my burrito is the length of an iPhone 8. It’s a problem when you get a bowl and 52% of the bowl is made of air. I don’t know if it’s because it was almost closing time or if it’s because of the people but…

2020-09-10This is a good Moe’s location. I love that they have fresh jalapeños and cilantro as an option. They’re able to get people in and out quickly - there isn’t usually too much of a wait. One word of caution - this location doesn’t accept the T-Mobile Tuesday/Dining Advantage deal.

2021-09-19Customer service and food quality sucks! I went there tonight at approximately 7:45pm due to hunger desperation, big mistake. The woman (short light brown skinned Hispanic, looked under 25 years old) who put my food in the bag was so rude. She originally put my food in a paper bag and double it with a plastic bag, then looked at me and took it out the plastic bag. That right there could be conveyed into so many things. I asked the cashier for a plastic bag. With the exception of the male cashier and the lady who took my order, everyone was rude af. The drink and self-serve salsas area was disgusting. They had lemon and lime at the self-serve area without thongs or forks to get it out of the container. This just screams food contamination. Never will I go there again!

Acting like they are upset with the customers for coming in. & then they tried to upcharge me for a BOWL WHICH IS $10,50. After the lady told me that guac. Is included in the bowl. ZzI walk right out. & went across the street to the mc Donald’s. never again
