You are better off going to Henrietta or driving to Monroe for Sol Burrito (always a better choice anyway). When we were there the restaurant was filthy, they had no beans, there was cross contamination everywhere. The tortillas were dry to tasteless. The tofu was cold and undercooked. We didnt even finish our food, we are half of it and left. This wasnt or first poor experience with this location either so we wont be coming back.
This place was so disgusting I should have just walked out the door. The staff were unprofessional and not adhering to NYS COVID regulations. Most staff had their masks down around their chins. My steak stack was burnt to a crisp by the time they finally got it off the griddle. One of the employees repeatedly bashed his head against the kitchen door to open the doors. Not a great experience 😕
If I could, zero stars. Honestly- I’m at a loss. The order that my partner put in for pickup was disappointing not once, but twice. When I got home from picking it up the first time, almost half if not most of the toppings were either missing, or simple a garnish. Imagine a bed of rice with a pinch of steak bits and two singular leaves of cilantro. I took the order back and expressed my dissatisfaction, and they re-made my order. Based on what was handed to me I can’t justify spending what the food they gave me cost. All I could think of on my (now second) drive back home was “how is this acceptable?” On the stretch of road where this location is situated, there are multiple options in dining for me to choose from- one being your direct competitor. My takeaway from tonight’s show is that I should choose differently in the future. Train your employees, and MAKE THEM WEAR A MASK.
While good for in person ordering DO NOT place an order for delivery through their website at this location. Twice Ive done it and twice my order has been messed up to the point of missing half my order. On my most recent order their suggestion is that I drive out and pick up everything that was forgotten. Without being able to find any way of contacting corporate I have filed a disputed for the charges with my credit card.
Went to order at 11:05 and the door was locked, the woman inside saw me and walked away. When I called they said some equipment had issues in the morning, and they need a some time to adjust it. I tell her I’m catching a plane out so I need to know how much time and then she reiterates ha equipment broke. I don’t mind waiting but I needed a time frame so I explain this and reiterate the question kindly. She finally tells me 2-5 minutes so I am currently waiting to see if the doors will be opened and I can place my order... I hope I can get some of that awesome queso before I have to fly out I would be devastated not to D:Update!: they let me in and were very polite about getting me set up 🧡 yaaay
Not bad. I tend to go there later in the day around 7-8ish. Normally the salsas are low and need to be refilled. There is also a water puddle near the soda machine but that happens only every now and then(not sure if someone is dropping water in the same spot every time...). But overall a good experience, I have never not been treated with Welcome to Moes (however I wish that they yelled it every time). Good food, cooked well every time. Great experience...would recommend this location.
After having been to this place several times and trying various items, I can only describe the experience as adequate. The food neither exceeds expectations nor disappoints. The amount of food for the price could be a bit better. On Mondays they have a special that gives a burrito and a soft drink for a great price, around $6 iirc. I think this should be the standard price for their food, though.
Staffed by total incompetents. Ordered a quesadilla through the website and it was missing HALF of the ingredients I selected. On top of that, I was entitled to 4 bags of chips (because I ordered 4 items) and how many bags did they try to give me? Just 1. Cheapskates.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I love moe’s, but the one where I live closed so when I went to visit my sister it was a must that I get some. But I was thoroughly disappointed when I got my food. They made a mess of my burrito (I barely got anything in it) and the rice was undercooked and overpowering. I couldn’t enjoy my food at all because of how bad the rice was. They are also supposed to welcome you when you walk in, but the worker couldn’t have cared less about his job. He was not welcoming in the slightest, and seemed annoyed to be making my food. I myself have worked in the food industry but never have I treated a customer like that. I was kind and respectful, using my please and thank you’s, but he was very zoned out and uncaring. Very disappointed that I was let down by my favorite restaurant.
I love moes, even more than chipotle and always choose to support them over their rival. But this location is a mess. I ordered online to pick up and waited for 35 minutes for them to make my order while watching them take orders from walk ons before mine. To top it all off they forgot items in my order. Shame on me for not checking till I got home. Pretty lazy and unorganized location. Will be going to chipotle location across street from now on.
The staff here is not taking COVID protocols seriously. Every staff member had there mask pulled down to their chin. They would wear gloves but touch communal items like the cash register screen and serving utensils and then touch food without changing them. I barely touched my food after seeing how it was prepared with so little concern for hygiene.
Love moes however this is the 2nd time I’ve ordered moes and had it delivered. Yet again food was missing. Missing kids drink, extra cookie, bowls are missing extra ingredients I paid for and only 1 bag of chips came. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Still giving 4/5 stars, food is always hot and fresh just wish I had everything I paid for 🤷🏻♀️
I come here about once a week and the food is always great. I came in tonight and they were a bit busier than normal. A mistake happened with my food, because, well.. mistakes happen. But when I came to the counter upset about it, the team was so understanding and compassionate, without a second thought they fixed the problem right away. The whole team was great, especially the employee wearing “The Hulk” name tag.
I came in at 9:35 pm tonight and the service was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced. When you come in before close time you expect the workers to not be the friendliest but the two ladies working were straight up rude. My friend was told they were all out of rice so I told the worker to take some rice off of my burrito and give some to my friend. I also asked for a bag of chips and was given a comment under her breath and got no bag of chips. AWFUL
Ordered Moe’s using the Uber Eats App. Everything went well on the Uber side, but Moe’s managed to make the order incorrectly. Tried to call the store and nobody ever answered. So how am I suppose to resolve the issue?Order had no beansReceipt shows no beansBurrito has beans
I came here tonight for dinner, it was my first time eating here as my friends suggested I try it as an alternative to some Mexican food. I was not greeted by staff, but the food looked fresh. It was kind of messy, chips on the floor and some other small issues, but nothing major. I got a steak bowl and my friend got a chicken club quesadilla. The steak tasted a little bit weird, but my friend liked her chicken quesadilla. They have a plethora of different drinks to choose from which i really liked.We tried a new kind of drink they offer in the machines which is a lemon line minute made lemonade drink which I highly suggest as I have not seen that offered anywhere else yet. I also tried some queso for the first time which I thought was really good with the tortilla chips which they give you free. They give you an entire bag of tortilla chips with your meal and you can pick different kinds of salsa for free as well. I would have liked them to include more of the queso, but they only included one, I would suggest trying that also and make sure you get more then one because you will definitely wish you had more. Overall this place was not great but it wasn’t bad either, it was average
Ok, we all know moes is delicious. But they dont care about covid at this location. Not a single person had their nose covered by their mask, and one guy kept pulling his mask down under his chin. All of this was right in front of the manager, who also wasnt properly wearing his mask. Not going back until after the pandemic.
Love Moes, but this was terrible. Service was slow, ingredients were mixed together in a lot of the containers, and my burrito was drenched from not draining beans/pico enough, so it saturated the wrapper, all my chips, and the bottom of the paper bag, which broke on my way to work. Just a nightmare.
As compared to Chipotle, Chipotle uses Mexican seasonings while Moes uses more salt. I used to be an employee for Chipotle and my tastebuds know the difference. Overall, the food is still scrumptious though. And, bring back the Ghost Pepper salsa. And another thing, the company needs to implement more deals and coupons in order to meet corporate guidelines.
I had good service and food, but I became slightly concerned regarding the overall cleanliness while I was eating as there were multiple fruit flies flying around trying to land on my food... They are after all only fruit flies, but maybe investing in a trap would improve the atmosphere.
I have ordered multiples times for delivery and each time they have gotten my ordered wrong. Checked my original order and the sticker on my order, it was what I wanted. I’ve called and been either put on hold for 10 + mins, or is never answered. This is ridiculous and completely unacceptable.
I usually love this place, but was very disappointed with my last visit. I ordered online, and my order was all wrong. I also ordered queso and they were out. The employee told me to call to get a refund for it. I called and told customer service the situation and that the franchise owner would give me a call to sort this out. It’s been a week and a half and I haven’t heard back. Very disappointed. Will be going to Chipotle across the street until I get my money back.
Great workers that are always nice, but dont expect to get a fast burrito from 12:15pm to 1:30pm. The lunch hour is always paled from workers at the University of Rochester. Even though its crowded and you will wait 30 minutes in line, the food doesnt lose its quality. 4 stars because by the time i get my food my break is over.
Well today I wanted to try there new steak and potatoes and cheese burrito promotion so I thought it was going to be good well 1 cost to much plus they put to much bacon and queso sauce and it made it to salty and I didnt taste alot of steak for what they charge me l like moes but this will be something l will never try again l give it D+
Very slow staff. Be prepared to wait in line at least 20 minutes every time.. why would you be training a new guy on cashier during your lunch rush lol every single person that had to pay had to get refunds or charged more. After he cashed me out he then said wait sir i didnt charge you for extra sourcream.. really? I then had to pay $1 for one tablespoon of sourcream. I will be going to chipotle across the street from now on
Here the beat palce for you with affordable price went there few days back with my friends!! We order dhosa and many things but but but!! I love Dhosa very much. Go and visit!!!!The outlet has wide range of dosa varieties also they are having unlimited masala dosa plan at just 110 Rs which is totally worth of it.
It just keeps getting worse. So, I have to keep sharing the craziness. Went to Moes on Mt Hope in Rochester NY tonight. I just wanted to sit down and have a relatively healthy salad after a long day of hard work. So, drove over there, ordered a salad, finally got it finished by the whirling vortex of incompetence that was behind the counter. Went to get a beverage (the machine was out of over half of the drink options), THEN, ok here you go....ready? You sure?? No forks. I went to the girl at the counter and asked for a fork and her response.....ready? You sure?? We dont have any. Yup. No forks. At all. At a place that specializes in Mexican salads. So, there went my little healthy salad. It was too hard to eat with a spoon. Threw it out. It was only mediocre anyway from what I could tell by the small amounts I was able to capture with my SPOON! Lesson: Things are getting worse in Rochester. A city which again this week made a list of one of the top 20 worst cities in USA. No wonder. You cant get forks for your salad. FYI, LOTS AND LOTS of For Lease signs in the empty store fronts of college town. Get a hint businesses. If you want to have a snowballs chance in h$#@ in this rustbelt graveyard dead city, have fn forks on hand!
Go on Wednesdays for a free drink with your burrito! This Moes is the same as every other one in the country - fancy coke machine, free chips & salsa with every meal, great queso but the guac is really lacking. Across the street is Chipotle if you change your mind, but really youd be best off going a bit north to Johns Tex Mex for good local food.
Horrible experience employees had attitude I asked politey if one of there employees fix my order because the guy who prepared it did it sloppy and didnt care, so once I asked the other lady who worked there she got a attitude like I was wrong I thought this place had hospitality I felt unwelcomed and my food tasted horrible highly upset and Im a usual customer to this franchise smh
Online says you take deliveries until 8:30, went through and made an order for me and my staff at 8:03, tried to place it, said it was closed and didnt take deliveries.tried calling, no answer.went in, customers had masks around chins, talking over the food, droplets going everywhere.hellah yuck

2022-03-19Food was luke-warm and cold, and I tried eating immediately after i got it in store. employees were out of it and didnt want to be there. the salsa looked like itd been there too long, as did most of the food. I went around 6, so it should have been at least a little fresh. definitely never going to this location again.

2022-03-03Unprofessional staff didnt seem to want to be there or know much of what they were doing. Kept trying to finish the order skipping over everything. The guacamole was so brown it was unrecognizable. Restaurant was pretty dirty. Yet they patiently looked at us when the tip screen came up to pay... no thanks.

2022-04-08They only had wheat tortillas in the middle of the day on a weekend, they had the door open in 30 degree weather, making the whole store cold, and the staff forgot parts of the process of my order. But the food still tasted good.

2022-03-16If I could give zero stars I would. My wife ordered online for a 6:08pm pick up. I showed up at 6:25pm and my food wasnt ready yet. I asked why and I was told we were busy, I looked around and only 3 people were sitting down eating. I asked why it was an issue because I gave an extra 20 minutes to complete the order. The manager came over over told me I dont know what you dont understand, we were busy before you got here. Mind you she had her ear pods in and had to hang up her phone call with a friend to come yell at me in front everyone in the restaurant. Another employee was no help to anyone because he was taking a personal phone call on his phone walking around the restaurant. After tonight I dont Moe s will ever get my business again!

2022-01-22Ive been calling the restaurant for the past 30 mins. I got food last night and it was all messed up. I called for 2 hours no answer. I brought my lunch to work, and I specifically asked for NO CHEESE IM HIGHLY ALLERGIC, IT STOPS MY HEART. and what do you know there is cheese in my food after eating half thats when I realize it. Now Im at work having a allergic reaction to this and it could stop my heart.

2021-01-28I havent been to Moes in years due to lack of quality and this time didnt make me change my mind. I ordered the Homewrecker for pickup. I get home and its barely 5inches, terribly rolled, mostly tortilla than ingredients. What a freaking disappointment. Had I known this is the quality I should have expected, I would have ordered from the Chipotle across the street. And the bag of chips was mostly crumbs. What a terrible experience.

2022-01-13Decided to come here on my lunch break with my husband, big mistake. We ordered online so the food was ready when we arrived. It was not ready and they only made one of the meals on the order and gave a side of guac when we paid for a cup. We asked them to make the second part of our order, but they made the same one that they had already gave us. Wasted our entire lunch break and wasnt even able to spend time together. Terrible, waste of time.

2022-01-13Today went there for lunch. I ordered on the app 1 hour before hand so it was all ready. I got there, and they had my order sitting on the back cabinet. Have it to me saying it was all set and it was 100% not all set! They only made one of my two quesadillas and threw in a very old side of guac ( it was completely brown) and I actually ordered a cup of guac. They said they would make the second part of my order right away. It was quick that they had the order complete. Got to the table and it was completely WRONG! Got up a second time to tell them they got the order wrong after 10 minutes of waiting for the correct food after already being there for 15 minutes prior. Finally got my food but had to leave to go back to work. Very frustrating when no one knows what their actual job is.

2022-02-11Was given the completely wrong food, not at all what I ordered. Service was horrible and staff was not pleasant. Will not be back to this location. I typically go to the one in Henrietta and its a night and day difference. Save yourself the headache and go to a different location
