I think historically moge tee has been good in terms of quality. But I think this location is temporarily (or permanently?) closed. It does show up on your website but when I call it just keeps ringing with no response.Edit: a friend notified me that this location is back open and had gone under renovations.
TERRIBLE PLACE. They sent me this cup of bubble tea. I ordered four other drinks which had normal levels of tapioca, but for some reason this one came with half the cup completely covered with tapioca. Terrible job. Called to ask for a replacement, the manager said he would neither replace it nor refund my money because he checks every order. Does this look like you checked every order? I can put up with a bad cup of bubble tea, but I cannot stand the terrible attitude and service I received from their management.
My friend and I tried two different teas they have. She tried the strawberry one and I tried the four fruit tea. All I can say, is that those teas are one of the best ones I’ve tried. They’re so refreshing and taste so good! The fruit is fresh and the sizes are so big! We’re definitely going back!
Staff is friendly and did not rush me even though I asked a bunch of questions. There is great seating upstairs to hang out which is nice. I tried the mango green tea and the flavour fresh mango and pearls were a little chewy the way I like them. Would be a good place to grab a bbt and hang out with a friend. Could study and read too.
Excellent Creme Brulé Uji Matcha.Matcha flavor is strong, and the drink is not too sweat even at 100%. The hint of salt also does wonder to the drink. There is also decently spacious seating upstairs with a free mobile charging station which is a big bonus. Will definitely come back here to try more flavor in the future.
I’ve had taro milk tea before at many bubble tea places before and loved it! However, my taro milk tea from here was just disgusting. They put some pulp in the bottom and a chai on top. It tasted nothing like taro even after mixing a lot. Texture was gross. Felt like I was drinking half chewed mashed potatoes with chai. Never coming back here again.
First timer. Ordered Brown Sugar Milk Tea. Overall it was smooth, but it using a regular dome-shaped cover instead of a typical “bubble-tea” seal means I can’t invert the drink for a more even mix. Tea was hot but drink is meant to be cold, so without a good mix it was part warm part chilled. Since it’s brown sugar it’s hard to stir using the straw.
Are you familiar with pearl milk tea? It is the biggest trend in town! If you’re not, then rush to Moge Tee Midtown, they serve the finest one that you can get!Moge Tee are on a mission “to create a unique and innovative new-style tea beverage with the most natural and fresh taste.” They recipes are based on centuries – old traditional Chinese beverages, which makes them a unique experience for your taste buds.Their menu is super rich in milky beverages with literally endless tastes and textures. The list includes Foam Fruit Teas, more or less regular fruit tea, milk swirls, milk tea, some more common (yet cool) items, and the really unique Dorayaki, Uji Matcha, and Yogurt Fruit Tea!You just cannot go wrong with any of the teas on their list. I really enjoy Cheese Foam/Fresh Mango Tea, the non – caffeine Brown Sugar Bubble Milk Tea, Taro Bubble Milk Tea, Cheese Foam Mountain Green Tea, and the Crème Brûlée Uji Matcha. A couple of my closest friends enjoy Yogurt Strawberry Tea and the Red Bean Tofu Pudding, but they are a little bit too sweet even for my sweet tooth. But that’s not all. They also have some great sweets for munching. Check the Cheese Oreo Dorayaki and the Bubble Flow Souffle.
Nice place, but as fresh as the bubble tea is, I don’t think it is worth $5+ for a small. There are other places nearby that may not be as high quality, but a small bubble milk tea would be ~$3.50-$3.75.Also note that they stop serving food at 7pm (I came on a Wednesday around 9pm).
So far all the bubble tea I have tried moge tee is the best one out of the ones i have tried.I have tried moge tee when I was in flushing the other time.Unlike other bubble tea places they use powder to make drinks but moge tee they make 100% fresh and theyre not cheap with their fruits! Some of their tea such as the classic fruit tea could find expensive around $9 for the drink but trust me, its worth that price!I highly recommend them to try their dragon fruit with cheese! Its so good that I wanted to get another one! This time I also got the dragon fruit with cheese and again my friend wanted to get the mango parfait but they didnt have. They recommend him to get strawberry parfait. The strawberries were fresh and it looked so good.At this midtown location they had side menu like sushi burrito which the other flushing location they did not have it yet. They were really kind and offering stamp card which the flushing location didnt offer stamp card but they were also kind as well.Overall it was great experience which I will be stopping more often and try other drinks from their menu.
I love Moge tea but I dont know whats wrong with this location. When I order a cheese foam milk tea I want my milk tea with cheese foam on it! Not a $0.75 refund!? $0.75 doesnt fix my problem of not having a cheese foam milk tea on my hand that I ordered, and payed....
Nice little boba place.Came here twice, tried different tea with boba, no cream, no milk, no cheese toppings... so that I can taste the tea better. However, the tea was only ok, and a bit too diluted... so, Id say, not exactly the better quality for tea...Service was great.
I already have been here more than 8 times for the last month. This is the best bubble tea in New York. I don’t know what lady on comment below is talking about that straws not long enough.I always buy large drink, plus add few more toppings with extra bubble and it’s only 9.75Price worthy.Employees are friendly. Thanks!
I saw this place after going to Jollibee around the corner, and am always interested in trying new bubble tea places. I ended up spending almost $10 for a bubble tea. For that outrageous of a price, Id expect the tea to be amazing and high quality. Instead they got my order wrong, which I didnt realize until I had gotten on the train. Also I waited at the counter for an extra five minutes because they didnt tell me my order was ready and basically forgot about me. I had to ask if what was sitting there was my order. In addition, their straws are not long enough to drink from their large cups properly, although I guess I didnt really need a straw because they forgot to put my bubbles in. Overall Im pretty disappointed with my experience.
I ordered a cup of grapefruit bubble tea in this store, and I found a piece of humans NAIL when I almost finish it. SO DISGUSTING . I throw up .When I called them, the manager said he will refund me the money and my next order would be on the house. This is not how you solve this. Its not enough. Lol
I’m not coming back. I like their brown sugar milk tea. But the service is really bad. The lady helped me order was upset since I changed my mind twice. When the milk tea was ready, the lady handed me the tea asked me if I wanted a bag to pack the milk tea. I said no since it’s a paper bag. After 3 seconds, I changed my mind as I wanted to use the bag to hold my other stuffs, and asked for a bag. She rolled her eyes and just left the bag on the counter without any words after finishing packing. It’s just unnecessary. It’s not a peak hour. I’m the only one customer in the store. Can you be more impatient? Bad experiences.
This was my bubble tea in NY experience and I loved the ordering system. It was organized well and allowed you to really get custom with your drink if you wanted to.I got a flavor I had never had before and I loved it! The cute little cups were an added bonus I hadn’t expected. As a regular at boba shops, the prices were average. Typically boba does go for Starbucks prices, so if you’re new to boba expect a $6-10 cost. I did some add ins so I think it was $9, which I typically pay $7-11 in Florida depending on the location and for the amount of toppings I got I felt that was totally valid being practically in time square.

2022-08-11Friendly and fast service at this bubble tea shop just blocks north of Penn Station. They customize each drink just to your taste. It’s very helpful to decide in advance how sugar you want. The mango slushy with tapioca bubbles was fresh and cold on a hot humid day in the city. Even better, its freezy temperature didn’t require big ice cubes, which usually block your ability to suck up the last few bubbles through the straw - but not at Moge Tee! Kudos to them for a perfect product. Enjoy.

2022-07-21Dropped in on a Saturday at around noon to order a few drinks. I decided on the creme brûlée milk tea with boba, and my husband had the purple yam bubble milk tea. I really enjoyed mine but I hated his. I guess I was expecting the ube to be more incorporated into the drink, but it was more like they dumped pureed ube in it. This gave the drink an unpleasant gritty texture. Other than that, there are a few other milk tea flavors Id like to try. Its pretty pricey though (came out to $17 for two drinks), so its definitely a once in a while splurge.

2022-01-06I went here after work for the first time today. Inside was nice and the staff were friendly. I got Rose Milk Tea, it was pretty good. I also like the cup they give you. 😊

2022-06-12There was barely to no cheese foam, and when I asked if I could get more there was no help or communication besides I can’t do that. Not even a sorry. I usually don’t complain but how hard is just some cheese some foam? The creme brulee was good tho!

2021-06-09The rose milk bubble tea and brown sugar bubble tea were very good. Nice and fresh. The brown sugar definitely more sweet than the rose. Nice and creamy. Fresh warm boba. You have to mix the teas so the temperature isnt extremely different from the top and bottom

2018-12-10Saw this place opening up while we stayed across the st at the hotel. Always a fan of bubble tea and since one so conveniently opened up right across the st we tried it out.Nicely decorated and very clean. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Prices seemed fair and they had great options for both food and drinks. One of the pluses was that they offered fresh fruit blended drink options. Staff was very helpful in giving us advice on what to drink and what was good. Not the typical everything’s good but made great suggestions. Definitely going back as we’ve already been back a few times to try different options.
