Jake Lotano was amazing! He promised to help get me into a car as my lease was ending, and he did it in perfect timing. Everything seemed to line up just right except they didnt have the exact features I wanted in the car. He did some quick research to find out how we could get those features added. Now Ive got all that I need. Ill definitely refer friends to Jake, Jack, Travis and all those at Mohawk Chevy!
Our father came to the life-stage that he realized that he couldnt drive anymore. Instead of attempting to sell his Impala ourselves, we decided to explore the local dealerships to see about their instant cash sales/purchasing programs. While I wont give specific dollar amounts we only had to go to two of the local chevy dealers to determine that Mohawk Chevrolet was the place to go. As the first dealership was very eager to buy Dads car for almost 20% less than what Mohawk Chevrolet offered. Once the decision was made, Tom Kenneally (Used Car Sales Manager) and his team, made the process seamless. Dad lives near the Utica area, and was worried that the process was going to take hours. Not so. Once we were at the dealership it was 30-45 minutes later that we were walking out. Ill add that 20 minutes of that time was small talking. Quick, seamless and pain-free. Lastly, I will state that the Haraden family has yet another winner. Stunning showroom. Professional employees. And wonderful people to deal with. THANK YOU!
Check in process is quick and easy. Waiting area is spacious and water coffee and donuts are available and there are other snacks and drinks available for purchase. They did a great job with the alignment on my car even with it being extra low. Will definitely recommend for people in the future.
Had a flashing check engine like and other warnings and car was running really rough. Got me in first thing the next day for diagnosis, identified the cause, and had it fixed and on my way by lunch. Really nice waiting area as well - the private room was very handy for me to get work done while waiting.
From the time we arrived until the time we got to drive off in our new vehicle purchase, everyone at Mohawk Chevrolet was just wonderful. James was very helpful and took the time to listen to us on what we were looking for in a vehicle and what we needed to fit into our budget. Josh helped with the financial aspect of it and was also very prompt to answer all of our many questions that we had without making us feel rushed. Kacey gave us a walkthrough of the many features of what our new vehicle had and was very pleasant as well with answering our questions. I highly recommend this Chevy dealership to anyone. Bravo! When I originally went into check to see what the problem was. They came back and told me that my front axle needed to be fixed and that the car was not drivable. I said that is the only vehicle I have and I use it for business. I said do you have a loaner I can have. They said no we do not have a loaner. I said then can you rent me a rental car and pay for it. They said no we cannot do that. And they also told me they were not going to release my car unlessI signed a waiver that if something happened it was my responsibility. I literally had to walk out to my car take the keys open the garage door manually and drive away. I was already running late for an appointment with my lawyer because the appointment had taken longer than they said and I was already two hours behind at $450 an hour . They literally tried to hold me hostage at the dealership
Poor communication and price gouging. I had a minor problem with ignition cylinder key way and being a Chevy dealer I thought theyd have the parts and so appointment was made for next week. Week in on their website progress tracker did not show anything being done and when I called they had not known about my car presence in the parking lot, so they rescheduled for next week. That week they had called me to let me know that the service would cost 1000$ as opposed to ~300$ and they did not know if the kit was even available. On top of such price i was renting a car costing me close to 2000$ which means that by the end of this minor issue I had incurred a bigger price tag than the car its self a 2004 impala. When looking at amazon I found incredibly cheap alternatives that anyone with a flat head screwdriver could install. By the end of the week I had called asking to cancel my car fix before the expected date which Im told was already cancelled. The next business day I went to pick up the car how ever it was already worked on and I had to pay; on top of what was done they quoted me another 3k for some non issues tore off my service sticker. Whats interesting is that my car was covered in snow indicating that it was not in the shop since last snowstorm... that is a week before I came to pick it up. Im confident in my cars health and I will never take it to a mechanic unless they are my friends, that i have many!
Simply put, our experience with the entire team at Mohawk Chevrolet was overwhelmingly positive. The Mohawk team is clearly motivated to deliver each interaction in a professional, courteous, and customer-first fashion...all while having some FUN in doing so. Will in sales in hands down the best salesman in the area. He went above and beyond for my fiancé Connor to get him into a new truck! He is very reasonable and very personable and is sensitive to the struggles people are dealing with during this time. He went above and beyond finding the perfect truck for him. Well we are a little disappointed with the service that we received. My vehicle has been serviced from last August. It looks like every time that they serviced my vehicle it was another part for the A/C unit. Well as we all know we dont need A/C in the winter months. So to my surprise I put the A/C on the other day and guess what it didnt work. Just some cool air. So back we go to your service department and there excuse is it another part for the A/C unit. I personally think that your service department missed this new part some where between August and now. Now that my vehicle is out of the factory warranty. We just purchased a new 2022 Equinox from Mohawk Chevrolet. We were looking for your business to help us out with this problem.

Jessica was amazing! She worked for my car sale! Her personality is wonderful her energy I want to bottle it! I went to see what I could get for my car with NO intentions of buying NEW, she started with a just take a look see and talk to me sort of spin and a week later I drove off your lot with a brand new 2022 equinox! The color I wanted and everything! I cannot say enought about her ! I had Judd a few years ago and I thought no one could beat him! Cudos to her for selling me a NEW car as I was so against it! hahaha
My customer service helper, Ms. St. Louis, was extremely business like, professional, and represented her position excellently. Her coworkers were loud and obnoxious. Several customers had very negative experience and the reps just made jokes and acted like they didnt care. The customers also had very long waits they didnt expect or no help at all. I understood because my 2 hour appointment took six hours! I honestly could never recommend anyone to use the shop. This is after buying 2 vehicles the previous month. Much needs to be corrected!
Worst service appointment Ive had in 24 years. Service manager confirmed symptoms and then they basically parked it, called me an hour later and said everything is fine. Tried telling me it was in off road mode which was probably causing poor driving conditions. Well on the new tahoes everytime you shutoff the vehicle and restart it, it defaults to normal mode. So does that mean theres a software error?? No indication on the frame that it was on a lift. Do yourself a favor and save the headache and find a more reputable service depart. I know the pandemic has forced the hiring of incompetent workers but this from my experience is the crowning jewel of incompetentency. Well done Mohawk, well done!
I had a great experience buying my first Camaro from the friendly staff at Mohawk Chevrolet. They made it easy and painless to purchase a vehicle. My Salesperson Andreana made my boys and I feel at home through the process. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a vehicle.
I had my car in for an oil change, tire rotation and inspection. I never received my inspection receipt. Also, car wash was down, and I still had a complimentary wash coming. They did say they would honor that next time I was in the area. 6 months ago, I also never got my complimentary car wash either.
Talk about embarrassing! We came in with cash in hand to purchase a new truck, and our sales rep. Andreana Bannon was unpleasant to say at the least. She said there was NO room to negotiate. She left us unattended for close to an hour, and when she retuerned with her laptop, it was adorned with a JUUL vape charger! Rude and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere more professional.
Not impressed with this dealership. I turned in my lease and for days later I received emails and phone calls asking for my vehicle. Apparently one hand doesn’t know what the other is doing. Was less than happy with the service department ordered window guards and they were broken nobody ever opened the box to even make sure they were right let alone not broken. They did come to my home and install them as I was NOT coming back Would not recommend this place.
STAY AWAY FROM MOHAWK CHEVROLETRecently I had a very bad experience at Mohawk Chevrolet in Malta, NY. In September 2021, I finalized a deal to buy a new Chevy Colorado and trade in my Chevy Silverado. They said they would give me $12,000 for my Silverado as a trade-in. I signed paperwork, gave them a $500 deposit in good faith, and we shook hands. Took six months for the new truck to arrive in Malta (not their fault). They then informed me my trade-in value was now $7000, a drop of $5000. Kelly Blue Book had the trade-in value at $12,800, a drop in value of $500 over that time period, not $5000. Carvana and the local auto repair shop both said the Silverado was worth more than $12,000.I believed this happened to me either because someone else wanted the new truck and was willing to pay more for it than me or they thought I might be stupid enough to take $7000. No other dealership had a Colorado the way I wanted it and I couldn’t wait another six months. Had to come up with cash for the full purchase price and pay the extra sales tax because I no longer had a trade-in. I feel what they did to me was absolutely shameful, dishonest. My advice to you is stay as far away from Mohawk Chevrolet as possible. Their motto is: “We go out of our way to please you”. I think they should change that to: “We go out of our way to _____ you”. I think, by now, you can guess which word I would use there.
The whole experience from start to finish was horrendous. I dealt with inexperienced sales staff and incompetent managers. It took six attempts to the dealership to complete the purchase. Whilst I was trying to air my grievances, there is a nerf gun fight going on amongst the staff including the General Sales Manager. The purchase took 3.5 hours to complete due to the truck not being ready as they stipulated for me to check it over before agreeing to the purchase. I was never given that opportunity to look over the truck - albeit the staff seemed to assume I was driving the truck home that very night, as stated they would meet their monthly targets if I did. I wasnt shown how to navigate the software in the new truck, yet I was expected to answer a phone call on my way home when they had forgotten to take my payment!After various negotiations the General Manager got involved which yet again resulted in further delays as he got the accessories order wrong, and the wrong parts were installed on my truck! This review only actually covers a fraction of what went on during my six trips. I do not wish to receive a generic response to this review suggesting I speak to the General Manager as all the previous reviews have received, this is simply to warn future buyers if they expect great customer service to go elsewhere!
Just wanted to give a friendly review. Mike the used car Representative was very friendly. He was very accommodating and had all of the paper work ready and in a matter of 15 minutes we were done and already out the door. I would purchase a car from Mohawk Chevy because of the service they provided. Non pushy and very friendly.

Brought my silverado 1500 in for transmissions issues with a third party warranty. Alyssa C. Was super helpful. She dealt with my third party warranty and their warranty company for their failed parts. Alyssa and the team at mohawk chevy service department were very honest and thorough. Absolute joke of a dealership. Brought my 2018 camaro in for power steering problem. They told me my radar detector was causing the cars electrical system to malfunction and charged me $160. They proceeded to reach out and tell me my car was in short supply and they’d like to purchase it being it’s a low mileage pre-owned. They made me wait for 30 minutes while the salesman and the rest of the building went upstairs to celebrate a birthday knowing i left work on lunch break to deal with this issue. He came back and had smart comments and was beyond useless in finding another vehicle. After needing to leave from him wasting time. He calls me hours later to offer me $32,000 for my 2018 fully loaded Camaro 2SS with the 1LE package. Complete lowball. Felt insulted right away. The reason their building is so nice is because of all the money they make ripping people off. That isn’t even close to a fair offer after THEM coming to ME wanting to buy it. Will NOT do business with them anymore. Going Ford next round. At least Ford rolls out the red carpet for their customers which i will soon be.

I purchased a certified preowned vehicle on Wednesday 5/25 and agreed to take delivery on Saturday 5/28. I called and emailed on Friday 5/27 to confirm that the vehicle was ready to go at my appointment time on Saturday. I arrived at my 11AM appointment time and had to wait an hour to speak to the finance manager and was then told the vehicle had not been detailed and was not ready yet. The vehicle wasnt ready until 2:30PM, 3 and half hours of sitting around waiting, even though I was told it was ready the day before.
I walked into the dealership with no real intention to buy. I just had questions about financing and inventory. Will Sanigular saw me wandering in the showroom, greeted me and asked me how he could help. Full disclosure, I hate car shopping in dealerships. But Will was calm and patient, asked me some qualifying questions and did not pressure me in any way. After giving me the information I needed. HE selected a vehicle for me because I had no idea what I was looking for. On the test drive, he made me aware of the inventory challenges due to the pandemic. Me, being a real estate agent myself, could see how the pandemic affected so many industries in a negative and positive way. He was knowledgeable about the process and spoke to the right people to get me satisfactory answers about my potential trade and budget. After getting all my information for financing and introducing me to Rob Newton, who was also very professional and knowledgeable, I left for the weekend, actually eager to hear something from the dealership by Monday. Will & Rob called me on Monday to let me know that I was approved and that I could pick up my car THAT afternoon!! Needless to say, I was pleased with the process and found it easier than past experiences. Will has the perfect temperament for that profession. He makes people feel at ease and makes them feel as if they have control and not the dealership.Funny side story. Being the new proud owner of a New-to-me low mileage 2013 Dodge Ram, I decided to post it on Facebook. A friend inboxed me and asked me, did you get that at Mohawk Chevrolet? I told them I did. She asked if I loved it and I told her yes. She said, That was my husbands truck. He traded it in for a new Silverado at Mohawk! Small world. Were so happy that this truck went to a good person that we like. It was my husbands baby!. And she proceeded to tell me all the care and love that he gave it. I can tell. The truck is mint! So now the truck remains in Ballston Spa since its birth.Thanks. Give Will and Rob my regards.
Never going anywhere else to get my car fixed…I had a check engine light on my 2020 Chevy sonic thought nothing was really wrong then I worked with Melisa and found out the turbo went in my car it took a little bit longer then expected…just got my car delivered to my house…it’s sparkling clean/fixed…5 stars this really made such pain so much easier thank you 😊

Mohawk Chevrolet made buying a car so easy! Jude was so patient with me while I figured out which car I liked the best. He was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. A year after initially going to check out vehicles, Jude remembered who I was and helped me find the perfect car. Everyone at Mohawk is so nice and you won’t be standing long before someone comes to help you and try and find what works best for me. They nurture relationships with their clients which makes it so pleasant to buy a vehicle from them. Their business is a well oiled machine and from being dog friendly to having a very relaxing waiting room, you will be well taken care of. 10 out of 10 the best experience car shopping and buying so far. I even got to test drive one of my dream vehicles in the process.
I dropped my vehicle off in the morning for an oil change and tire rotation. I was told it would be done around noon. I called at 1:30 as I hadn’t heard back from the dealership. They said I would receive a call from the service department soon. I waited two hours and called again at 3:30. They transferred me around several times then I got a call from my service advisor while I was on hold. He said my vehicle will be done shortly and I can head over to the dealership. He ran the vehicle through the wash for me at the end, but it seemed like a long time for fairly routine service in my opinion. Everything else was ok.
I have purchased two cars from this dealership and was looking to get a third but I definitely wont now. After dropping my car off for service, I went into the showroom to see about trading in two cars and ordering a new Camaro. I was confronted by James Elbrecht. He answered a few questions and was showing me the used Camaro that was in the showroom. I told him that I didnt want a used car and I wanted to order a new one but he kept pushing the used car. After he came back to me with pricing on a new one, he said we need to add $5,000 of dealership markup onto the price of your new car. I was astounded. Do you seriously want me to just throw away $5,000 dollars? I guess Mohawk Chevy could care less if youve purchased cars from them before. I told him thanks for the info and I walked out. If James would have said Well order you a new Camaro for MSRP I would have said absolutely. I wont buy any more cars through this place ever again.
My husband I just just purchased our 2018 Tahoe with WILL. He made us feel very comfortable and not under pressure. We had a small issue with the Tahoe and it is being fixed very timely. We had a great easy transaction and were out the door. We will be back. Thanks WILL

Made an appointment for 8 am Wednesday.( our 2nd appointment for same issue they could not fix 1st time) Dropped car off at 8 and was asked if I was going to wait, I said no that I was going to my office right around the corner. I work 1/2 day on Wednesdays. His immediate Response was “ so you’ll pick it up @ 2-3!!” I said NO, I work till noon and would like to pick up then. I called at 12:15 and was told it was just going in- they were real busy!!! I was called at 2 and told it would be done in 20-30 min. I got there at 2:30 and finally got my car at 4!!! I thought if you made an appointment at 8 they would start working on your car right away!? How did all that business happen before my 8 am appointment?? Never going back…Ever!
I cannot even begin to say enough about the amazing team at Mohawk Chevrolet! They had the exact vehicle I was looking for and the entire process from booking the test drive, handling all of the paperwork and details of sale, setting up the pick up, trading in my car and getting warranty information was smooth, seamless and simple! The salesman I worked with, Jack, was incredible! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, kind and helpful at every turn. I also had the immense pleasure of working with James, who helped me switch over my insurance and get my new vehicle set up with phone connection and went over all of the details and electronic features of the vehicle as well as Josh, the finance manager who was very helpful, funny, personable, down to earth and explained everything in detail and made the entire purchase and warrantee discussion easy to understand. I would recommend them over and over and I will absolutely be returning to them for all service and future sales needs. If you dont go to Mohawk Chevrolet, you are not getting the best deal, friendly treatment or the same top of the line customer service, guaranteed.
I made an appt a week in advance. When I arrived the personnel did not know I was coming and I had to give all my info again. I have a fleet vehicle and asked to have my tires changed, look into a sluggish side view mirror motor, and a recall. The rep told me he would contact my fleet company about the tires and never did. I had specifically asked him to try calling and to call me if it was denied. Instead he just lied and told me that my fleet company denied the request. This was verified after I called my fleet company and they said they never got a request for tires. They told me they couldn’t replicate the mirror problem so they couldn’t fix it, instead they blew air in the switch (has nothing to do with the motor being sluggish). The mirror got stuck again when I got in my truck. They at-least checked that a bolt was tight as part of the recall. All of this allegedly took 5 hours. I have had problems with their malarkey before and made the mistake of giving them another shot. I will never go here again.
I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I had a scheduled appointment to test drive a vehicle today. I drove over 65 miles to get to my appointment just to have them tell me a staff member of theirs is currently driving the vehicle I had a scheduled appointment for the vehicle I came to test drive and purchase. Here’s the kicker they would “call me in a few days to let me know if that person took it or not”. Such a joke, I’m not laughing.The vehicle I had an appointment for. Complete a waste of time.
Joshua the service writer was very helpful. Had to call next day(Tues)do to a problem with repair done on Mon. Joshua sent a tow truck wright away and called me as soon as car was repair was corrected. I picked up car Tues night and was help right away. So far so good.
Stock: CUP2891 2020 white suburban.My son owned that car and it spent 6 weeks in the garage. Nothing but problems from the morning after delivery. Mohawk Chevrolet bought the car back. I just looked at the car fax. What a joke! It doesn’t list all the things that went wrong with it or repeatedly went wrong with it. Don’t trust car fax! Buyer beware! It’s a lemon 🍋

Matt was my salesman and he was very knowledgeable and honest, He listened to what I wanted and got it for me without trying to sell me one that was on the lot. Went in looking to purchase a used Bolt EV. When I arrived, I was told to ask for a salesperson by name, but no one was there to greet me. After a couple minutes, a salesperson came over to help. I told them who I was supposed to ask for and they waved me away and said they could take care of me. For what its worth, this was fine with me. As they were taking my info, a manager came over and chided the salesperson for undercutting whomever was supposed to be working with me. It was pretty awkward to sit there while my salesman got scolded. 5 minutes later, the manager came back to re-iterate that the salesman had undercut the process and it was even more awkward. The person who was apparently supposed to meet us appeared from the break room at this point.I test drove the car and everything seemed good. I was ready to buy at the right price, but they did have it listed a couple thousand higher than KBB and a competing dealer. They had to re-take my info because while I was test driving they had confused me with another customer. The sales guy wrote me up at the high list price and I asked them if they could do better on the price. He went back to the office and came back with the same price, and some different monthly payment options. I showed him the competing listing for the same car because he didnt believe I had a better price. He went back for a second time and returned with a sales manager who again showed me the same price, and slightly different financing options. At that point I left. In total I was there for an hour, and spent 30 minutes patiently but firmly telling them that I was not interested at the price.Personally, I think that the office was trying to punk the sales guy for stealing a deal from a coworker. Being rudely interrupted twice by a manager when I was in the middle of potentially buying a car, getting the name mixed up halfway through in the computer system, and not making any concession on price or even offering a maintenance package. Its really like they didnt want me to buy the car and were just wasting my time. I would never go back to this dealership where their internal sales process takes priority over customer experience.
On the sales end I had a good experience with Matt and the manager Roger was also really helpful with an issue that came up and was extremely good to me and my wife. Once the Silverado EV is for sale we will very likely come back and do business with them. On the service end, just really wanted to shout out Mohawk Chevrolet for doing a great job. Alyssa and her techs recently fixed a Shift-to-park error issue on my Chevy Volt when I had a few instances with no fuss about warranty or TSB debates which seems to be a common issue on forums or owner groups with dealer They also fixed 2 wheel bearings (suspected I had one but no idea both were going) while another Chevy dealer in Albany had told me the bearings were tight, no issue, and said my wheels weren’t whirring and were just out of round. I actually had such a good experience I let fleet know at my employer for our silverados and express vans.
Mohawk Chevrolet gave me a great deal on my trade in. I was able to order the Tahoe I wanted and my salesman Matt Marcil kept me in the loop as I awaited the arrival of my new vehicle. The whole deal was seamless and fast. From sales to financing everyone was friendly. Don’t think I could ask for anything more.
Since I bought my car a year ago, the service department at Mohawk has been so helpful. They listen to my problems and do the best they can to solve the issues. This week, I brought my car in for an inspection and issue with my radio. The work was done quickly and Don McLennon told me he would call and let me know what was going on with my car by 1:00 pm and he did. Furthermore, he explained the whole software update issue with my radio so I could understand what was going on with the issues I was having. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating each time Ive taken my car in for service.
Excellent customer service. Quality of service was okay. Took quite a while to perform, but expected. Setup for 45,000 mile service. Left with a pretty stiff bill wasn’t expecting but willing to pay to keep my car in top shape. Transmission fluid change, brake fluid change, alignment, and rotation.Tire sensor relearn was not completed. Will have to perform on my own since I won’t have the time to return. All and all, good service and consistent documentation to keep precise service records. Will continue to service my vehicle with Mohawk Chevrolet, but do look very forward to the opening of the malta location.

Mark was helpful and attentive while completing the purchase of my 22 Tahoe. He worked with me to get a trade-in-value for my Civic with which I was happy. Jack Marsh also clearly explained and extended warranties and their value. I would certainly return to Mohawk to buy a vehicle in the future.
Friendly atmosphere. Service staff took the time to show me around the facility. Complimentary beverages and donuts a nice touch. Service completed timely and left with a washed car. Will be back for next service.
Got an appointment super fast for my car that wasn’t running properly. Greg got me in quick and called me with an estimate and explained what was going on. Something happened and they had to keep my car overnight so Greg supplied me with a rental truck for the night - they then had my car done before 10am the next morning. Service department,Very helpful, and honest. I went to a Monroe for an inspection. My bad. I came up here inspection passed, and didnt need breaks rotors replaced. I will definitely drive 35 minutes to get here again before the 1 mile to Glenmont Monroe. Thank you Mohawk Chevy job well done!!!
Did a Kelley Blue Book instant cash offer. Went to two other dealers because they were closer before I came to Mohawk. Big mistake on my part! The other dealers told me they would meet or exceed the KBB offer then when I got there their actual offer was 4k to 5k less! Thankfully Marc and I connected. After sending a few pictures and a phone call he made an offer that was right where I needed it to be and when I brought the car in it stayed the same unlike the other dealers. If your trying to sell your car, go to Mohawk Chevrolet and see Mark! Also, the facility is beautiful and the selling paperwork/process was quick and painless! Not to mention, he even offered us a ride home and we live 40 minutes away!
Mohawk Chevy was really amazing, My car salesman Dax was very patient and knew the Situation I was in, knowing there could be a chance i could not afford a purchase. he took his time and worked with me and they offered me 5500 hundred for my car that wasnt drivable and did not see it either.. they gave me new tires and fog lights on the 2019 Kia as well. Every one who was part of this process was not only great to work with but patient with me and willing to see it through..
