2021-12-14Eh..on one hand I owe them for helping me when I was in a very bad situation so I have to say that much. On the other I have never had an organization refuse to listen to my feedback like Mohawk Opportunities. The staff at lower levels are grouchy and talk down to you, its very demoralizing and triggers the very issues they claim to be helping me with. I guess what Im saying is the staff needs sensitivity training, particularly for someone claiming to work in the mental health field. Im high functioning so if Im getting treated like this I fear for the other clients.

2019-05-13Mohawk opportunities is a VOLUNTARY program ! If you don’t like the program then maybe you should find another one then ! There are to many people who complain about the program and staff when they should have gratitude and gratefulness for the staff who work there and what they are put through with those who are not satisfied and miserable clients !!!!!! Mohawk opportunities has helped me learn grow accomplish my goals within the last several years of working with them and I wouldn’t be where I am today with out the help and resources they have given me and the tools they have provided along the way and encouragement to help me transition me to where I want to be in life ! The program is NOT built for the staff to do everything for you clients are expected to work with the staff to accomplish short term and long term goals that is what the whole program is suppose to be all about! I think there are to many ungrateful people who do not give the staff enough credit for working with mental health clients is a tough enough job as it is !!! I’m sitting here reading reviews and see a lot of bashing instead of having gratefulness and appreciation !! Mohawk has helped a lot of homeless people also ! Keep up the good work Mohawk opportunities staff your doing a wonderful job at all the amazing things you do for your clients !!!!!

2016-10-14Mohawk Opportunities needs to get better people to work there. They have NO EMPATHY FOR THEIR CLIENTS. Your people need to treat their clients with respect. I was once a client with them most of my workers didnt care all they cared about was their paychecks.

2018-09-29Mohawk opportunities help there clients. They make you feel like your not a client is are someone in need if help. They help with getting all your financial needs taken care of. Get you in a safe enviroment,so tyyhat you can get your mind together,clean yourself up become a part of society again. Mohawk also has alot of events in the community for the clients. Which are a huge success. Its bean a statistic the people with Mental Illness tend to drink. Not all but it is likely, they deal with that issue and put you in the right direction to deal with it. I am living testimony that Mohawk is a wonderful opputunity

2019-03-22This agency does incredible work in their community and provides housing and many supports as the homeless population transition into more permanent housing. Great staff and administration...

2018-09-01It need more discipline with LANDLORDS and their CLIENTS RIGHT TOO WHEN IT COMES TO A PLACE WHERE THEY PLACE THEIR CLIENTS. THEY SHOULD LANDLORD AGAINST THEIR CLIENTS.Examples: unconditional and unfair. unfortunately the advantage of where people lived in Schenectady N.Y. doesnt really matter to them at all. For example: just moved in.. found so many things wrong with the apartment, but didnt saw it the first time they show me the place.

2015-07-03Mohawk opprutunities is the worst payee I have ever encountered I went to get my check today and their office was closed.No one notified me of this.They pay your bills late if they pay them at all.They are nothing but a bunch of zookeepers
