One of the best cleaners and tailors I have ever been to. Kim is friendly, professional, and compassionate. She does a quality job in no time. The prices are competitive. I’ve brought my favorite pieces to Monarch for both dry cleaning and tailoring and never have left disappointed.A short story. Once, I got makeup on a silk dress I was supposed to wear to a party. Two big ugly stains of foundation. I rushed it over to Monarch and she took it quickly to the back and got rid of the stains. When I asked her how much I owed her, she said, “no charge.”

I moved to the neighborhood a year ago and found Monarch Cleaners through online reviews. For the past year, Ive brought silk, suede, and wool items that mean a lot to me (in addition to what I paid for them), and Kim has always taken care of them. She altered my boyfriends pants for him and did a fantastic job. Shes also honest: once I brought in a silk kimono that my aunt gave me from her time in Japan. Kim showed me that the piece needed hand-stitched repairs, not to be machine-sewn. Another tailor might have ruined an heirloom and charged me for it. Cannot recommend this business enough!!

She damaged my coat and would not reimburse me. Now it’s the middle of winter and I have no coat. And the lady’s response is oh well to bad. That’s disgusting and repulsive and if you value ur expensive items don’t take them here.

This is a great place! Excellent attention to detail and all our clothes, from silk dresses to cotton button shirts, look fantastic. Highly recommend!
