Kevin was awesome!!! Very pleasant and friendly. Im not sure of the name of the man that did our brakes, he was very professional and pleasant too! I called about our brakes squeaking, Kevin got us in the next morning!!! I would recommend Monro Auto in Bath NY to anyone who needs brakes. The service is top notch!!!
36.99 for 1 windshield wiper blade and 3.00 to install it is absolutely ridiculous. I could have paid the 21.00 inspection fee, gotten a wiper blade from Rock Auto for less than 2.00. Then taken it back and paid 11.00 for the inspection and still saved 30.00. This place is a rip off! Will never set foot in a Monroe Muffler again!
Jon has excellent customer service, and is knowledgeablee about cars. He has worked with me every time I have been into the shop. I’ve had problems with Monroe in the past (other locations) but Jon has made me into a regular customer again. I will only come to this location for my car needs. This man needs a raise! Thanks Jon!
Kevin at Monro Auto Service in Bath was the lone bright spot when I got a flat tire on I-86 on Tuesday late afternoon. Roadside assistance completely failed me, but Kevin provided outstanding service at EVERY step along the way! Without going into all the details, Kevin ultimately: 1) suggested a nearby towing service after my roadside assistance said there wasnt one in the region; 2) stayed open almost an hour extra so that I could get the new tire on and not have to stay overnight in a hotel - I was 4+ hours from home; 3) declined my offer to pay extra for staying open late; and 4) replaced the tire and got me on the road again in less than 30 minutes. I wish I lived closer and could patronize your business regularly!

We were traveling through this area on a Saturday afternoon when our alternator failed. John replacer it and had us back on the road in under an hour. Fantastic!

This business is 100% no doubt the best mechanic shop I ever experienced in the over 20 years Ive been driving. I cant say enough about Monro in Bath, NY. My dealings with this store have been excellent every time. The staff is thorough, accommodating and friendly. Justin is the store manager and hes such a pleasure to do business with. Ive witnessed him going to great lengths for not just me, but others who called or walked in with an issue. Shout out to the technician, John, for taking the time to look at my car when I walked in with a potential safety problem. He and Justin made time for me to fix the issue, if possible, but otherwise to just be sure that my car was safe to drive. In addition to great service, the prices here are totally reasonable. I totally recommend!
Always kind and diligent with work. They are about safety which I enjoy. But seeing some friendly faces while getting an oil helps the time pass.Nothing new to report just great service eveeytime I get my oil changed here at the Bath NY location :)
The folks at this Monro were extremely friendly and helpful. My dad and I had a flat tire and had to find a place to get a new one for our long trip, as our spare was not up to the task. Thankfully these guys had our tire in stock and were able to quickly replace the tire at a reasonable price. Thank you guys so much!
Im traveling from out of state and my car broke down. I explained to them that I was supposed to be leaving the next day and they did their best to work me in same day! Unfortunately it ended up being a major (8+ hour engine work) job that they werent equipped to fix, but they gave me excellent referrals to places close by that could. They were very knowledgeable and explained things in a way I could understand. I wish I lived closer so I could see them for my routine maintenance!
The guys at Monro in Bath were fantastic. Super nice guys, quality service, and very responsive. I requested an appointment online around 10pm for 9:30am the next day. Got a confirmation around 7am and was good to go for an oil change. Thanks so much, will definitely be back next time.
My girlfriends car had a completely seized brake and we had somewhere to be, hours away that evening. The guys working (Justin and Brad?maybe) made space for us, understanding our situation, and even stayed late to complete the job. Friendly service and a great price. Would certainly recommend

Justin and his crew are the best ever I love this place and I come back time again and again..I wanted to update this it’s been about 8 months and like I said I would be back I came back over and over and over! They continue to give me the best service and the best deals. I have now bought two sets of tires from them. they have fixed stuff from breaks to o2 sensors to random little quirks and done inspections.Justin is the main reason I go there! He is knowledgeable about what he’s doing and he is patient with me when I’m not so patient! He answers every time I call even when I just called him about something. My husband also agrees that if it wasn’t for Justin we would probably not keep going back. We like to go places where we feel welcomed! The store is always cleaned and bathroom is also very clean. Before this we moved to this town a year ago. we have never been to a Monroe muffler before this one and let me tell you that any other store probably won’t do as good as this store when it comes to customer service! We will continue to come back for all our issues.
I just had a great experience at this Munro muffler in Bath. I had a tire that was going flat and called to see if they could patch it. Don (?who answered the phone a aid they could get me right in. The technician, John, lifted my car and found that it could not be repaired. He took the time to explain to me why he couldn’t plug the spot where the screw had punctured my tire. He was very kind and filled my tire back up with air so I could make it to Bobs Alignment where the tire was under warranty. Everyone was very kind and helpful! I will go back there for other services for sure.

I am from MD. My teen son and friends are vacationing at the Fingerlakes after graduating high school. He drives a Subaru just as old as he is that we have kept in shape. Lately, the steering/car had been shaking intermittently. We did everything possible to fix it. Halfway to NY (5 and a half hour drive) my son with a carload of friends said the car started shaking again. I found Monro online and was happy it was nearby where he was staying and was thrilled on Memorial Day Monday when Justin the manager, answered the phone. My son brought his car over and it was diagnosed pretty quickly. Bad belts in the tires. The next day two new tires were delivered. Im glad Justin and his crew figured it out and made the rest of my sons vacation safe and he still has time for some fun. The bill was inexpensive. You know the feeling of having your car out of town and wondering if you will get ripped off. Not at Justins Monro in Bath, really made me happy about that. Oh, and customer service, wow, Id say in the top best customer services Ive ever experienced. If you are vacationing at the Finger Lakes or passing through NY and have any car issues, Justin and his crew will take care of you in Bath. Really impressed!
Awesome professional and friendly service every time.
Drove into town with a spare tire after a blow out on the highway in the middle of the night. We were nervous about finding help on short notice, on a weekend. In fact, several places turned us away. Needed the repair so we could make the long drive back home safely the next day. Monro took us in as walk ins and repaired our tired by end of day, and even re-installed it for us at no extra charge. Knowledgeable, friendly, fast, and so helpful. We highly recommend. They will be our go-to for check ups and repairs when in town from now on.
I have been going to Monroe for years. They have fixed mufflers, brake lines, tires, and performed routine maintenance. I am just writing my first review because of the exceptional service I received. I was told by another shop that they could not help me and the dealer did not open until Monday. I called the store in Bath and both Justin and John were very helpful! Within minutes my tire was fixed up and I could get back to work. I highly recommend this store with these team members.
I couldnt be more grateful for the services I received for my vehicle! I walked in with no appointment and with no hesitation they said yes even though they were so busy! Went in to have a check engine light looked at on a car I just bought. I have an extended warranty through SilverRock. They are the in network repair facility. I go in and they guy behind the counter says he is new and all of his guys are new. And being a Volkswagen he won’t even bring it in. He was very rude about it. This was the first and last time I will visit this place.
This manager, Dave I believe is incredible. His mechanic, John was great too. Hope I have the names right. Dave took me in to change my tire late in the day. He knew he would have to work late, but took me in. I watched him multi task with three jobs going on, staff and customers. Very friendly. Most important he is so knowledgable about cars. I heard him explain problems and options to three customers in detail. He really knows his stuff. I know, cause I worked on cars all my life. He saved me money by fixing my tire as opposed to putting on the one I brought in. So, next time I will buy my tires from him. And I will use that garage for inspections, oil change and repairs. This man knows how to engage and develop a customer base. Excellent.
Went in to have tires swapped tpms sensor fixed although the truck gave them a hard time reprogramming they got the job done. Great service will definitely be back. Thanks again Josh keep up the good work!
They did the work very quickly were very polite and let me know everything you had to be done. However on the arm area of where the customer has to wait there is no TV or cable it would be really nice if there were something for the customers to watch while they wait. Otherwise everything was great
They may give great service, but I wouldnt know as the 3 times Ive attempted to have my oil changed there, theyve been too busy. This morning, I attempted again. There wasnt a car in the bays or in the parking lot, but they said it would be more than an hour wait. I drove by 25 minutes later, and there still wasnt a car in sight. That was my last attempt.

Bought my truck in for alignment that cost $90+ tip truck pulled to right afterwards, steering wheel was crooked, took to Maple City Dodge to have it done right and pay for it again.. I warn anyone who goes here if youre going to get more than tires go somewhere else. All-season tire is the place to go for tires in bath

Justin helped me save close to 100 dollars by buying a part I needed and installing it myself, because he knew that at the time I couldnt afford to have his guys do it.Will be going back here in the future.

I convinced my father to give the Bath store a try. Whenever he goes to Monro Muffler, they always make him feel like he is driving a piece of junk that needs all kinds of work, even though it passes inspection. At Bath, the new manager didnt make him feel like that. Todd gave him recommendations of what he should replace soon, and what needed replaced now. Since my father is on a fixed income, it is nice to know a garage will work with him to ensure he replaces what is needed to stay safe and lets him know what will need replaced soon, and further down the road, when he can afford it. We will return for all of our repairs!
I was traveling through Bath, NY when my low engine oil light came on. I bought some oil and a funnel, but could not get the fill cap off. I drove to Monro Muffler and told Justin my predicament. In less than ten minutes Justin had me back on the road and would not let me pay anything! Yes, it was a simple and quick fix, but this is what I call good old fashion customer service! I travel through Bath, NY often and I will definitely keep Monro Muffler in mind for future business! Thank you Justin!
This place is getting to be a hit or miss. Their staff tends to have a higher turnaround. Besides straightforward fixes, brakes, oil changes, I would take my car elsewhere.

The store manager Justin is a rock star, he was not only polite but explained the different options for my wifes 2018 Subaru or an oil change and why synthetic oils were important. The guys knows his stuff, he was trust worthy and not once did I feel they were tying to upsell me on things I did not need. Based on this experience I will not only be back for my wives car but Ill bring my car in too for its next service.

Dave is Amazing and patient and kind. We drive as a huge part of our job and have 3 vehicles. Dave takes care of them all. I know if he says it need fixing it actually dose. Its been 2 years and as long as Dave is at bath so are we.
The best service I had ever have in this store!On my way back to Ohio on highway 86, I found motor oil leaking due to blue smoke behind my car. The car was towed to this store.After complete checking, its found the oil cooler line problem （a small hole in the line was found）and need to be replaced. However, that day was labor day and many auto parts stores are closed, the store manager, Justin, drove to a 40min away stote to pick up it for us. Thanks for their wonderful work, the car was repaired and we safely got to my home.All of my family really appreciate the brilliant service from this store.I would strongly recommend this store for the people who need service, high qualified, trustable, and price also reasonable.

I decided to try the Bath Monro shop, I took three of my cars there, and spent quite a bit of money, thought they did a fair job. But the store manager Dave Smiths customer service skills are very poor. I took my car in for NYS inspection, I was told that the computer was down so I would have to come back the next day and just pick up the the sticker. I walked in and was immediately greeted with aggressive attitude by Dave Smith, basically treated like I was some kind of an idiot, which I did not appreciate. I would with out a doubt recommend never using Bath Monro muffler & Brake...............Stay away people....
Our mid-pipe failed during a recent Saturday trip, and our 8-year-old car was making a terrible noise. We found this Monro Muffler via our GPS and a couple of other good online reviews. It was morning and they were busy, but had an opening at 1:30 so we could come back later after some sightseeing. They were ready for us at the appointed time. The manager, Justin, evaluated the problem and described how the work would be done. Even though they were short-staffed, they were resourceful and did a very nice job replacing our exhaust pipe, muffler, and resonator. Very thankful for their service with a lasting repair.
We were passing by and realized we needed an inspection. Justin got us in right away. Jon did the inspection and we were back on the road with in 20 minutes. Great service and price.

I was traveling on I-86 to Ithaca from Pittsburgh. I hit a huge pot hole that destroyed my tire (it quite literally exploded). After getting a spare on, I knew I wouldn’t be able to make it all the way to Ithaca without a new tire. Most of the places we called didn’t have a tire that would fit my car. Finally, we found monro muffler in bath and the manager, Justin, believed that they had tires that would fit my car. However, I would not be able to get there until about 7pm, when the store was supposed to close. Justin and John waited for me to get there, replaced all 4 of my tires, and made sure there was no other damage to the car. They were incredibly kind, helpful and knowledgeable, and they took the time to explain everything to me even though I know NOTHING about cars. I can not put into words how thankful I am for them helping me out.

We evacuated from North Carolina because of the hurricane, and we didnt have time to fix the issues with our truck before we left. Limped it up to New York with it missing two studs in our back left wheel. Found Monro Muffler in Bath while we were staying at the Super 8 nearby. Decided to give them a shot since we needed it fixed that day. There was a little confusion when we picked it up as the manager Justin had to double check with the tech, Brad, as to what exactly he had done, to which Brad evidently took offense to as his attitide was horrible. However, we got done what we need, or so we thought, and headed out towards family the next day, today. 150 miles later, we are pulled over on the side of the road because we heard a horrible noise coming from the back wheels again. Get out to see that one of the studs they had just put in the day before is missing already, and nearly every single lug nut was either hand-loose, needing more than a full rotaction, or torqued so hard we cant even loosen them. Called Monro customer service and they were nice enough to direct us to the nearest Monro who are very friendly but also fully booked themselves. So now we sit here for who knows how long to find out if our truck is even safe to drive, while were already dealing with the stress of waiting to see if our home is still standing. Theres no reason this should have happened.
I realized our inspection ran out and I have to go out of town for work and I called about 6 different shops and Justin at monro muffler said hed get me in right away and John would be doing the inspection, thank you guys so much truly appreciate the hard work you do and dedication you have for your customers
Super friendly staff. When my car broke down heading home to Canada they figured out what was wrong, ordered the part and said it would be fixed first thing in the morning. They then called around and booked a hotel room for us and got us a discount on it! Thank you for making this event not as crazy as it could have been.

Walked in for an inspection after trying 6 other businesses and being turned away, and immediately was accepted by the manager Justin Morey, Im very pleased with the fast and courteous service!
On 4/28, John and Justin at this location went above and beyond to fix our brakes while stranded 1 hour into a 12 hour road trip. We showed up right as they opened and they were able to get us right in. This wasn’t a simple repair. They probably spent an hour troubleshooting the real problem. Then, they didn’t have the required caliper in stock. Rather than pawning us off until Monday, the manager sent the tech to meet their parts guy in Campbell to get the caliper. We were back in the road by 11am. I only wish I could give them more than 5 stars.
Had gas tank lines replaced...covered under warranty i bought at time of vehicle purchase..store manager justin was able to submit it with zero issues..and work was done perfectly. .awesome store......
We were going back home from Niagara falls to York. we were driving and all of a sudden heard a cluck noise. And we found out that we just lost the passenger side wheel. nobody was hurt, Thank God even it was a Friday night - Kail the super mechanic came to the rescue. Thank you so much Monro Auto service.

I took my car to firestone for an oil change and inspection, and mind you my car is a nice car in good shape, its a newer vehicle. Well after the inspection and oil change it came out sounding like metal dragging. Well i called monore and they could get me right in I should have known not to go to Firestone. They bent my heat shield. Thank you Justin and the boys at monroe once again. I learned my lesson and wont be going anywhere else!!!!

Worst place ever, I was taking my cat here for a about 6 months got every oil change here and two new tires an alignment only to find out later I was charged an alignment that never happened and given out of stock tire and never told so. My tires were worn-out in 3 months and they wouldnt do a thing about it! Wouldnt go back again ever! !!!

Severely overpriced, was invoiced for $550 of repaired including eater pump/serpentine belt/and a motor mount. Got some for under $200 at an actual garage. Would never go back again. Not to mention my father paid to have his car aligned there, paid for it and all only to see it never happened. Horrible horrible.

2022-04-29I had to get a tire fixed, and I needed an inspection. Scott got me in immediately and we had a great conversation about food and foraging. Best time I ever had at an Auto shop. I hope you enjoyed the donut Scott. Thank you for everything

2022-06-25Great place for oil change and tire rotation. To expensive for anything else.Managers are pressured. One told me three years ago I needed a new battery, I declined. Still have the same battery without a failure.

2022-02-21I have brought my truck here twice this month for different issues, and both times the work was completed quickly and reliably. Pricing is fair, and I will continue to keep this shop as my go-to. Friendly and knowledgeable crew.

2022-02-05Started having car trouble on the highway and was able to make it to the Bath exit to get off. Luckily on a Saturday morning Monro was open and able to see my car immediately. The guys at the shop were very friendly. One guy in the mechanics area was very caring and since my two dogs were in my car even cracked the windows for them so they didn’t over heat while the car was in the garage. He also took parts that needed cleaning on my car out back so that the loud noise wouldn’t scare my dogs. After my car was fixed this technician also test drove my car with the dogs inside so that I wouldn’t have to hold them in the waiting area (didn’t have leashes with me). This guy really made the difference for me and would make me come back.

2021-12-22Recently took my 2012 Jeep in to get heater core flushed. Told manager I wanted heater core flushed. He had them flush entire system. Not what I wanted. Here it is later and STILL have no heat in Jeep. Had some when I left building but nothing 4 miles up the road. Today I changed the thermostat. Only accessible from the ground. When everything was done, still no real heat. In my opinion they should have done what was asked.

2021-09-10I was traveling on I-86 when I got a flat tire, and Monro in Bath was the only bright spot that day! Not only were they friendly and understanding, but they stayed after hours AND drove to the next town to find me a replacement tire, so I could make it home that day. I will never forget their awesome customer service and would HIGHLY recommend taking your vehicle there!
