Super helpful at the Hamburg store! Took my truck in with no notice and changed a tire. Recommend highly to everyone.
I needed a new muffler on a car that has 160,000 miles on it. At a price tag of over $1,100 I thought it was not a wise investment. The people at Monro patched it up the best that they could and did a wonderful job. $200.00 is much better. Thank you for being so accommodating.
Made an appointment on my only day off,for a simple oil change. To have the rude guy at the desk tell me itll be a couple hours, you can leave your car whats the point of an appointment? When I set up this appointment i gave my phone number, perhaps call &say you cant do what you arrange to do. Teach your employees how to talk to customer as well, the guy followed yelling he didnt want to wait...for a couple of hours, for a oil change, No, I didnt not want to wait...hence the appointment I set
We just arrived in Hamburg and a loud rattle near the muffler began to appear. After seeing all of the great reviews for this Monro shop, we stopped in to get help. Thank goodness! A shield above the muffler had broken and it was fixed in 15 minutes. They are so 👍 good
Very friendly, first time going and they gave me a 15 dollar off coupon just for being patient. Checked my whole car out for free and I just went for an oil change and let me know what could use some work and what could wait and being someone who doesn’t know a lot about cars it was super helpful! Would definitley recommend, very good prices as well as work!
Went twice. Once for an inspection and the problem they diagnosed I got fixed for $200 less at a 2nd opinion mechanic.Second time was a simple oil change. Made an 8:30 appointment. Was told the mechanic didnt come in until 9:30 or 10. Waited until 11:30 to leave. Other cars came and went. They upsold me lug nuts without asking. I will never go back. They upsale and try to rip you off every time and dont know what an appointment is.
I had an appointment for my inspection and they were running 2-3 hours behind. Originally I was going to have to wait but they were able to squeeze me and I only had to wait about 30 minutes. Great service! I would definitely return! I was very happy.
I grew up in Hamburg and since leaving the area when I was 18 I have always used Monro for checking the road-readiness of my car on the long rides back to Chicago. Many different vehicles have been serviced by the professional and extremely friendly staff at this location. I was just in town for a solo trip without my husband and kids and the tire pressure light inexplicably came on. The day before departing I just came in and asked them to take a look and put my mind at ease that I was good for the 600 mile or so trip the next day. They are always courteous and thorough and there is no other place I would want to take my car to.
We were in NY from MI at a horse show and blew a tire on one of our horse trailers. They got us a new tire in quick, installed it, checked the trailer over, put air in all of the tires and even checked the tires and air on the other trailer. Not to mention, helped back us out of the parking lot! Great customer service. Willing to go above and beyond. Thanks so much!
I can’t thank Omar enough for the kindness he showed to me in a time of need. If I could give multiple five-star ratings I would because this man saved me from a world of stress and car damage. I was traveling from out of state when I heard the type of “weird sound” that makes any car owner’s heart drop. I pulled over at a rest stop and discovered that a bolt on my breaks had fallen out and the break was swinging freely. I drove as carefully as I could to the next exit and thank goodness, I saw a sign for breaks. Omar was closing shop but was kind enough to listen to my frustrated ranting and immediately pulled my car in to see what he could do. Saying that he was kind is an understatement. Not only did he fix the problem, but he made sure everything else was secure saying “I just want to make sure you’re safe”. He was respectful, efficient, and just an overall amazing human being. If I lived in the area he would have my business for life so I would ask that if you are looking for a mechanic to look no further than this shop. Thank you again Omar, you’re the best!
My daughter had an appointment with another place to get her oil changed but she was going to be 10 minutes late so they refused her service. After several calls to other auto shops, she called this location and spoke to Omar. Even though he was shortstaffed, he told her to come on in and he would help her. Very friendly and helpful! Charged me $555.98 to replace my rear brake pads and rotors on my car. Price was far too expensive.
Fast courtesy service by the team here at Monro Muffler on Camp Rd! Heard a loud noise coming from underneath and luckily enough I was close to this Monro, pulled in and was taken care of on the spot! Fast and convenient! My ride to Allegany tonight will be a safe one. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

My car had a number of problems with the exhaust system. The Manager Mr. Cruz explained in detail what was needed for the repair. The work was completed in the same day as promised. I was very happy with the work that was done and the professional Service.
I was having tire trouble and I saw doors where closed but Ryan opened up the doors to help me with my 2 front tires. They were just about to close, it was almost 5pm. THANK YOU SO MUCH RYAN for replacing my 2 front tires. I definitely WILL be going to you from now on.

I called last week, early in the morning. I was taken a trip to Rochester and when I left my house my oil light came on. Without hesitation Ryan told me to bring the vehicle in, he got the car into the shop, check over everything notified me that my car was about a quart of oil low, but I wasnt due for an oil change for another 3 thousand miles, so he topped my oil off reset my light and give me a new sticker and sent me on my way assuring me Id get to my destination safely great customer service
I went to a dealer and they gave me a list of problems including muffler work. The dealer said they would do the muffler work for $250. I came to Monroe Muffler for a second opinion. The work was done in minutes and at far less cost than the dealer. I am so happy I stopped here. They are very honest. I highly recommend them.
Very acclimating to everything I needed (and continue to need). Reasonable prices and honest about everything my car needed and didn’t take advantage of me like most car places do. I’d been looking for a good place to take my car and glad I found one!
The guys at Monro really took care of me after i broke down on my way across the country. Not only were they the only shop around open on Sunday, but they were super helpful and did some creative and very reasonable problem solving to get me on the road within a couple hours of opening. My dealer West Herr Chevy told me I needed brake pads so I thought I would try Monro to save me money because it wasnt that long ago that I had my brakes done. After the mechanic had all my tires off he called the Manager over and both were looking at my brakes. In a slight panic because Im thinking the worst the Manager comes to the lobby and asked why I thought my brake pads were bad. I told him the above dealer conversation and the Manager told me I still have 50% pads remaining. He said I had up to a year left. Monro will have all my future business. They are honest and trustworthy.

My request for an oil change did not go through online and I dropped my car off thinking it did. I called Omar and he was able to still do the oil change in a timely fashion even being the only staff working!
Got an oil change need it done right away. Omar Got me in because i told him i needed it right away because my girlfriend let it go for a while. Got me in within 3 min and was in and out literally 15 minutes. It was closing time too!

Going to have a car fixed can be a hassle, I never felt like I was being taken advantage of and Paul took great care in explaining things to me. The attention to detail and clear communication about possible problems I should be aware of was impressive. Car emergencies are not so bad when you have really good people to help. I will continue to service my car here.

The manager Dave was extremely professional. They offered to drive me home while my car was being serviced. When the car was done they picked me up from my home so I could get my car. Dave took the time to explain everything to me. My exhaust system needed service which they took care of. In the process another issue was discovered and told me it was important I got it taken care of as soon as possible. I was able to bring my car in the very next morning to be repaired. I stopped in Monro concerned about a noise my tire was making. I was leaving for a trip early the next morning and was hoping someone could take a look. Getting ready to close the shop Jesse, the assistant, took time out to look at my tire to make sure it was safe to drive and also looked over my entire vehicle to be sure there wasn’t anything else that needed work. Jesse was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, professional and kind. Highly recommend Monro on Camp Rd.
Great service. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and take great pride in their work. They are honest and willing to walk you through the repairs and options before committing. I bring my car and my wifes car for servicing.
I’ve been there twice in the past week. Last week I was turned down to get my car serviced there and it ended up being a $2600 job for another place. This week I needed my daughter’s car inspected on my day off. Was told to come back another day. (An inspection is billed out at 20 minutes) They had 3 guys standing around. 1 customer waiting and 3 bays open. I ran a car repair shop for years. There are shops that want to earn business and shops that think they are the power. One place will take care of you, the other will rake you over the coals. I’ll let you decide which place this one is....
The crew are experienced and always good listeners. Quick to get me in for service as soon as they are able. Friendly and kind to me and my grandkids if i happen to have them along. Kevin is especially patient when I laughingly repeat a noise the vehicle is making and asks lots of questions that reflect his experience. Glad I found this shop!
It seems rare to find a repair shop that genuinely puts effort into customer service. Most just seem to care only about getting the car in and out as quickly as possible but dont care too much about your experience. Monroe is pleasantly different. Their garage is always full and now I know why. Awsome service dealing with Paul.
Always come here for little fixes or usually for inspection. Crew is always good to me, always pleasant, and the service is pretty quick. Always make appointments and never walk ins just if u have a set schedule but Ive seen people walk in and they are pretty quick with those as well. Never a problem and this place doesnt try to sell u on repairs or other things If you dont need em. I def recommend this place if ur in Hamburg for sure.
Absolutely awesome service! My job has me driving a lot. In between jobs muffler started to fall off and was barely holding on. I was down the street from Monro Auto Service and Tire Center in Hamburg Blasdell, NY so I gave them a call. They were extremely helpful on the phone, and Omar Cruz was amazing when I arrived. When they discovered the issue they explained it and what needed to be done to fix it in detail. They closed in an hour and were not only able to squeeze me in, but were able to get everything all fixed super quickly! I would definitely go back and I would absolutely recommend them!
I just went there because my brake lights were out. I feared the worst because my car has numerous electrical issues. I dont remember the guys name at the counter but he was very professional. He dropped what he was doing and came out to see if it was simple as burnt out bulbs. Turns out thats all it was! He promptly replaced them and sent me on my way. Took less then 5 minutes. A dishonest person could have kept the car for hours and told me it was an electrical issue like I had already expected. Im very pleased and will continue to go back. Honesty is everything when it comes to car repairs.

These guys were so accommodating! I came in last minute in desperate need of winter tires to be put on my work truck. Even though they were beyond slammed, they made time to get it done. Needed a simple valve stem replaced, had the tire pulled off already and called 5 stores before Monro said I could come in for it. 5 minute job that Walmart told me to wait 2.5 hours for. These guys rock.
Got a flat on highway, I limped my car over to Monro, David came out before they even opened to help me out. He checked the tire first, not to just assume I needed a new one. He was very professional and got me on my way in under 10 minutes. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in the area.

I had an appointment today and had to call to see if it was for 2 or 230 and Dave said to bring it in early and I was actually done and home before my appointed time of 2oclock very peaceful experiece. I NEVER write a review, but after the assistant manage argued with me for 15 minutes about dropping my wife’s driver side window into the door and tried to charge her $150 to put it back up, I felt compelled. I have never experienced customer service this poor. They are scam artists and very rude. Do yourself a favor and drive on bye.

Changed my tie rod and need an alignment. Called and made an appointment for after 4pm when I got out of work. When I showed up at 4:02pm, was told that there was someone already getting theirs aligned and that We didnt actually think youd show up.. and was asked to come back in an hour and a half. Now Im stuck having to drive my car for 2 days, all jacked up because of my work availability.
What a rude service desk person My tires come from my work can’t choose to many places to deliver I call to see if they can get me in the guy says this is a 2 man service place then I said I’ll pick them up he throws them on the ground and makes me carry to the car. He should be fired
Was going on vacation today from Ohio to Canada when my muffler had a serious issue on the way there. Monro was the only place nearby open on a Sunday. I worked with Dave who was my personal savior - he managed to get me in despite only having a couple of guys in the shop and a lot of work going on. He provided excellent service while being completely up front and honest on my options. He got me patched up and on the road again. I had run into my worst car nightmare of having issues while on vacation, and Dave really pulled through for us. I cant thank you guys enough; keep being awesome!

I was so upset to end up with a screw in the tire of my brand new car. The mechanics were extremely sympathetic, knowledgeable and friendly. I was able to drive away within the hour. I couldnt ask for better service!

Horrible service! Never make an appointment on line with this place! I made appointments twice on line and once there they tell you they cant take you! Really?? Why dont they call if they cant fit u in and why is the appointment available n open on line!!! I drive out there only to be turned away and the large guy behind the counter lied to me and said he sent me an email telling me he couldnt fit me in! Then he looks at the computer and says oh..u didnt provide an email... I said noooo..but my number is with the appointment. when I asked him why he didnt call me he just looked at me with a dumb look on his face! and theyre coupons arent what they seem they dont tell you that certain things arent added and then it ends up being a lot more than what that coupon says!
Let me start by saying we typically dont go here but my wife made an appointment and took her 07 jeep here for brake service when I was traveling for work. It was only going to take a couple hours that morning so she waited with our 9 month old at the time. It took all day because they were short staffed. The guy working on her car cut the emergency brake line on accident. He told her that he didnt have time to fix it and to bring it back at inspection time to fix it. So several months later we come back and advice the manager of the situation he says ok. Later that day we get a call that the 3rd rear brake light over the tire doesnt work and wont pass inspection. (It passed for over 5 years that it didnt work by the dealer and later by another shop we use). The next day I spent my morning at 3 separate dealerships trying to get this light. Finally get it and drop it off and now I am told the tint is a problem. They had the car for a day and a half and couldnt bother to tell me that at any point prior....like when you called me on the light. I asked if the emergency brake line was fixed and the manager said no because there is no record of this occuring and he was willing to ignore this when we called. I asked him to contact the mechanic who worked on it and he tells us he was dismissed.....how convenient. Never going back here. Manager is a condescending @ss. Based on comments in the review i think they try to take advantage of women and then when husbands or boyfriends get involved they get confrontational.

I work for a company who uses Monro to service our fleet of vehicles. Paul and his staff are awesome! They always make sure we are a top priority getting our vehicles in and out quickly.
I made an appointment for my wifes car. Tires, inspection and check muffler/repair/replace. My wife went as scheduled. He told her she needs a ball joint and parts to fix the muffler. Both need to be ordered and cant get on her visit because it was a Sunday. Why didnt they tell me that they cant get parts on Sunday. I would of made appointment for another day. None of this was itemize on the receipt. Cost of these repairs. (what are they hiding). ALSO, They did an oil change. I never said anything about an oil change. And he never explained to her why the car didnt pass inspection. Did they take advantage of her because she a women? Not happy.

Came in for an inspection and oil change. the kid at the counter, Doug I think, was not friendly at all (he was kind of a jerk truth be told). Nor did he seem to know what he was talking about. Why is someone who is clueless about cars working in automotive? Isnt there some type of criteria required before being hired?
In and out.. not a long wait and the manager is earthy and conducive to good business relationships. He explained the inspection process and checked an issue I thought I had, which turned out to not be. And he explained the mechanics of the unfounded issue.

With such a busy schedule, I often find it difficult to make time for my car. Monro in Hamburg always finds time to fit me regardless of the situation. With fast quality service I know i can always rely on them to take care of me.
It was 3 stars because: Car in for leaking brake line. this was fixed properly. However, ABS light was on immediately following the repair unlike before when it was not lit. Moreover, the red brake warning light was now on constantly whereas it had only been on previously when the fluid was low. Called, was told they might go out in a few days. They did not, brought car back in but did not understand response. Worried I now dont have ABS.

I never received an estimate of the work being performed on my car before it was done, despite calling twice asking for one. Also, when I picked up my car, it smelled STRONGLY of cigar smoke meaning someone was either smoking on in my car or right next to my car with the windows open - both of which are unacceptable. I will NEVER go here again.

Well, my brand new tire, purchased from monro, has a nail in it. Apparently where the nail is it is ILLEGAL to patch. And it isnt covered on the warranty. Now this kid is telling me I need ANOTHER brand new tire. I think that stinks..and I would like monro to exchange my brand new tire for another brand new tire. This really blows.

They guys at the camp road location never let me down. Any emergency service I need on my vehicle they get me in as soon as they can. Monroe in Hamburg is always my go to car shop.
I deal with Monro on Camp Rd on a daily basis. They have been great and extremely helpful since day one. Paul and his crew are top notch!
Shop is too uneducated and unprofessional to know how to ask proper questions before scheduling appointments. Next time ask all the specs of a vehicle before wasting someones time. Some of us have no time for your unnecessary excuses.

Had an appointment for 930 on a Sunday and when I showed up they werent open. An employee was sitting there said sometime the manager shows up late. There were supposed to be open at 9. I wont be taking my car there anymore.

2022-02-02Came in to get an inspection an 1/2 hour before close but still made it possible to see me. Staff was very helpful, kind and explained everything to me I needed to know. Even explained how to fix my car at cheaper rates. 10/10 recommend for any auto service!!

2022-05-25Worst service I’ve ever dealt with! First off they put the wrong brakes on and had to go and get the right ones, and then didn’t tighten my lug nuts! I was driving down the road and noticed my car making a funny noise! Checked them all and not one was tight! Thank God I made it to a garage so they could torque them down for me😡😡🤬🤬

2022-01-04I was in a bit of a bind this morning- I was mid-road-trip and the metal shield had started to come off the bottom of my Honda and I needed it re-attached or removed quickly so I could get back on the road. They were so friendly and fast and when I got back on the road I realized they had also cleaned up the half-removed stickers on my windshield I had been struggling. If I were local I would bake them cookies. Thanks, guys!

2021-10-28Friendly and so helpful. I have a Mercedes, usually go to the dealership but they couldn’t get me in for an inspection in time so I stopped here and they were able to get me in within a few days. Also needed a oil change they did that as well along with fluids changed. Few weeks later coolant level was low, took it back… fixed the issue checked for other issues no charge. Great customer service! I will be back for other services!

2022-06-10Omar, Kevin, Justin and Zack were all great. Omar is a great person with the guests. Very knowledgeable..Kevin inspected my car and said everything looks good and even advised me of a recall on my vehicle. I would have never known this if he didnt tell me. It was nice to see Zack and Justin cleaning up the shop area and taking garage out. I will definitely return. Great job by all.

2021-06-17I stopped in this location today as I noticed one of headlights was out and was in and out in maybe 10 minutes? The manager Omar is friendly, trustworthy and never pushy. He has gone out of his way for me many times over the years. This is a great shop and I’m always happy with their work. Don’t hesitate stopping in or giving them a call!
