My husband and I have been coming here to the Victor location for many years. They are honest and reliable and always give their best. We have no qualms about taking our vehicles there for an oil change or any other service. We also buy our tires there and always get a good deal. Special shout out to Tom and Kevin!
After realizing my tire kept loosing air the team at Monro squeezed me in. There was indeed a nail in the tire and they fixed it free of charge as I am a recurring customer. Personable team, I highly recommend them.
I was driving home and realized my tire was losing air, I called them 15 mins before they closed and they were so nice and happy to help. Alexander found me a new tire and got my car ready for me the next day. Thank you so much Alexander! Your customer service was incredible. I will definitely only be using you guys for all my tire services from here on out. Thank you again!! You all are great
Today I had a scheduled oil change and was greeted by the Assistant Manager, Alexander, who was very pleasant and professional. He handled the intake of my car very promptly and communicated all information clearly. He contacted me when the car was ready for pick up. He also informed me that my inspection had expired, which I had forgotten and offered to take care of that while the car was there. I was extremely grateful...he saved me from additional problems and also time in not needing another appointment. I was very impressed with the service I received today and would recommend to others.
Kevin Schultz and his team at Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers were fantastic! From the time Kevin greeted me at the service counter, to his personal greeting on the phone (yes, a HUMAN answered the phone), he was friendly, helpful, and a great team to work with! Not sure how its possible during these crazy times but I actually received EXCEPTIONAL service! I would definitely refer this group to others!
Its VERY rare I leave a poor review but this place has completely lost my business.Around 6 months ago I had an appointment to put winter tires on. When I arrived, I was told someone called in sick and they wouldnt be able to get me in today. This would be fine, except I received no phone call, no email, nothing. I drove 40 minutes to find out my appointment was canceled. The guy running the front desk was very professional in helping me find another place so I figured Id give them another shot.Fast forward to today, I had scheduled an appointment for 4pm, 2 weeks ago. I originally asked for 5pm but was told that wouldnt be enough time to do everything before close (summer tires, oil change, inspection). Totally fine, I get it. I show up today and Im told they wont be able to get all of the work done before close.I couldnt be more disappointed with my experiences here. A complete lack of planning and communication. Find somewhere else to take your vehicle. Anywhere else.

I needed something simple: I had a dead wheelbarrow tire/wheel that wouldnt inflate at the local service station pump. The Monro service couldnt have been better. The Victor station crew fixed the problem right away, and did so cheerfully. Im not kidding. This is exactly the kind of attitude one would hope for (and is woefully in short supply) at service outlets nowadays. It was like stepping back into the past, where honesty and friendliness were part of the experience. Highly Recommended!
I have been coming to this Monroe Muffler for years and have always been treated well. This last time was no exception! In the fall, I had bought some tires from them, and recently noticed that one of them had a leak. I called them up to schedule an appointment to have them look at it...I was able to drop my vehicle off that same night!! When the crew was looking at it, they noticed that one of the calipers was frozen. Before doing anything, I received a call letting me know what was going on. Kevin had a tech look at it farther and was able to free it up and help me avoid having to redo the brakes!! THANK YOU!!
Two times in my life while I have been driving from Buffalo to Syracuse with a carload of four young kids I have had car trouble, coincidentally around the same point in the trip. On both occasions I was lucky enough to stop at Monroe. Everyone on the staff was kind to us, getting the problem addressed immediately (knowing the unusually circumstances). I cannot speak more about the mechanics and managers - they are kind, caring humans. If you live in Rochester- this should be your go to place!
We are from out of state and had a transmission issue while in the area for a few days. I am always hesitant to get my car fixed while out of town, but after my experience, I would never hesitant to get my car fixed at the Victor Monro again. They got me in as soon as they could, were upfront and very reasonable with the price and did a great job. Kevin was extremely helpful.
Kevin and the mechanics went above and beyond to help my friend and I. We found ourselves in emergent need of tire repair, and they were able to squeeze us in, and get us back on the road in time for our girls to compete at a local competition. Our girls were especially thankful for their kind and quick service!!
I had just picked my car up after getting new tires from another shop, only to realize they had barely tightened the lug nuts. I pulled over to hand tighten them, but I still wasnt comfortable driving around like that and by that time the shop I went to was closed for the weekend. Luckily, I was able to make it to this Monro Tire location and even though they said it was against policy to work on tires another shop installed they helped me tighten the nuts to make it safe to drive. I dont want to mention names since it was against policy, but I cant thank the employees enough for helping me and preventing serious damage to my car. I will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks again!

I am so grateful for Kevin and the team at Monro!!! I was driving from Connecticut to Rochester and noticed a screw lodged in one of my tires. I brought the car to Monro 30 mins before they closed and we came up with a plan to check the tire or replace the following morning. Kevin arrived 15 mins early (!) Sunday morning so we could get it going as I had a game that day at noon. Alas, all tires needed to be replaced, and I needed an oil change. At noon everything was perfect and DONE and I could be on my way to the game and the 6-hour drive home. Don’t waste your time anywhere else!! So grateful.

Great customer service. Weve been using this Victor Monroe since we moved to this area 8 years ago. Bill, Dustin, Mike and the team have always been honest, helpful and given great customer service. Today I had an unexpected tire issue. Dustin was managing things and gave EXCELLENT service. He not only got me in and had my tired repaired quickly but he also spent a lot of time answering my questions about various tire options. He was very honest about quality, costs, recommendations. He printed out numerous quotes and encouraged my husband and I to read reviews and ask him any questions. I so appreciate the KIND, joyful attitude Dustin has! He not only takes care of our cars, but he just has a great attitude that makes you want to bring your service to him. Thank you.
I have had great service at this location. The management team and the workers, are fair, honest individuals, who provide an accurate estimate of the work scope and provide prompt service. Since a number of the employees at this location have been there a long time, they have significant experience diagnosing hard-to-repair intermittent problems. I have been bringing my vehicles to this location for over 15 years and have had great experiences. I would recommend this Monro location without reservation.
This location really saved me when my tire sensor broke off as I was driving past. The friendly team members were able to replace the sensor the same day, even though they had other cars ahead of mine to work on. They were great with communication and offered reasonable pricing. Would definitely come back if ever I need to!
I caught a flat on the road and was having trouble changing my tire. Alexander was a VERY big help as this was my first time ever experiencing something like this. He helped jack my car and did the full change. He also helped me get set up to come back in the next day to get my new tires put on. He was amazing🙏🏾

I couldn’t be happier with the service here and I’ve shopped around on occasion to compare service and pricing. I always find myself coming back to the Victor shop to see Bill and Mike. They’re respectful, but get right to the point on what service is needed and the options available. I never feel taken advantage of and like I said, I’ve shopped around for my car repair diagnostics and quotes. They may not always be the cheapest, but I don’t always want that with a car. Cheap parts and service equal more visits to the mechanic. I’ve been down that road before. Never again.Bottom line is I’m very happy with Bill, Mike and team. I’m glad I found a good quality, trustworthy mechanic. They’re tough to come by nowadays.
Why allow the ability to make appointments if you cant keep them???? Then when you call for an update they say Oh I dont know maybe today, maybe tomorrow for a freaking flat repair. Give me a break. If I could give negative stars I would.
This place is the best! Our family have all use Munro Victor since we moved here 18 months ago. I would not go anywhere else. The team are courteous, knowledgeable, professional and go above and beyond. Changing my previous 5 star review to a one star. This place used to have excellent customer service. Now it has no customer service. I called for help with a flat tire repair. They acted annoyed, and said they were booking 2 weeks out. No mention of any way I could get help. The person who used to worked there was so helpful every time I had called previously. Things have changed dramatically since then. I called three other private garages, all who were very helpful. Even though they were all busy, ALL tried to help in any way they could. Monroe used to be like this, but no longer. I will take my business elsewhere.
I have been to victor Monro for over 10 years. They are always very accommodating andNever do more than they have to. I am very satisfied with their work and Will keep going there for many years.
I usually take my vehicle to the dealership for service and needed to make a last minute appointment for breaks before the holiday weekend. Worked with Dustin W. who provided great customer service and was able to fit me in for an appointment even though I am not a regular customer. They did not try to add on other services or products that I did not need, as many other places would, and applied any discounts or savings available to my bill before asking. I will be taking my vehicles to Monro In Victor for all future appointments.
I had a great experience at this Monroe Muffler. After leaving work, I found a screw in one of my tires and it was leaking fast. I was able to get to the shop and even at the end of they day they were able to fit me into their schedule. They got my tire patched up in no time. Would recommend.
I stopped in yesterday with no appointment because I had a screw in my tire and needed a plug. I was on a very tight schedule and had to be on the other side of Rochester soon! Despite a full garage, they agreed to help me and did so in a kind and courteous way. It was very much appreciated... Great customer service is a rarity these days. Thank you so much!!!!!

Terrific customer service at this location! Hadnt been in this store in several years. Moved away but happened to be in the areas last week. Had a minor issue when I was driving and decided to pull in and see if I could someone to help me out. Walked in and, to my surprise, saw Billy - now the store manager. Billy was the same polite and accommodating person I remembered him to be from over 16 years ago when I started coming to this store. He never hesitated to come out and take a look at my issue. I just needed a screw/bolt to hold something in place underneath that had fallen off. Billy took care of it right then in there and did not charge me. Billy, you set the bar high and you should know it’s truly appreciated. It’s this type of service and kindness that goes a long way and keeps customers coming back – even years later. Keep up the great work Monro and congrats on the stellar employee! Thanks again Billy! I called your district manager too and put in a good word too. 😉
This is the best repair place i have ever been to. The customer service is incredible and they are incredibly trustworthy. They have taken such good care of my car. Won’t take it anywhere else. I hear horrible stories about other Monro shops but the guys that run this one are the best.

I stopped into the Monro Auto Service Center in Victor today with a tire leaking air. The team at Monro had my car on a lift within 5 minutes, found a screw imbedded in my tire, and then proceeded to repair it/balance the tire. All completed within 20 minutes. When I went to pay my bill there was no charge.I could not believe it. There was no charge for superb 5 Star customer service.Monro/Victor earned a customer for life today.This team is outstanding and I would highly recommend them to everyone.They are a credit to Monro and the industry. I had just moved to the area, about 10 years ago. I walked in one day just having driven from Seattle looking for an oil change, and I met Bill. Since that day, he feels like family. Mike and the other guys that work here all remember my name, eager to give some of the best service Ive ever received consistently over such a long period of time, the same guys. Consider how many times you see that today, its definitely something I wholeheartedly support and recommend. After discovering a nail in our front tire (of an SUV with less than 7500 miles) we called Monro Auto Service in Victor, looking for a tire plug. They were more than accommodating, and squeezed us in on a full Sunday afternoon. Thank you again for your help! I highly recommend this location!
I have been coming to Monro in Victor for the past several years after trying many other shops out. They are extremely friendly and have always done a great job at a reasonable price. I definitely trust their work and have taken the stress out of keeping our cars on the road.
I take ALL my vehicles here and wouldnt go anywhere else. I usually get a guy named Bill and the guy just gets it. Ive never felt like they pushed services yet I always feel confident getting what is recommended. I told my family and friends and have heard they all feel the same way. In and out with just the services requested. I will continue to go here until they invent flying cars - and even then Im sure they guys will know how to service them! Oh and I drive past like 30 shops to get here as I live in Brighton.
Dustin and the rest of the team at the Victor Monro deserve to be recognized for their outstanding service, knowledge and courteousness! I am especially grateful for their knowledge about my Tesla...its hard to find a place that knows the particulars, and Dustin does! Theyve taken care of tire rotations and putting summer/winter tires on/off. I feel comfortable leaving my car with them.
I’ve been dealing with bill and mike and their teams (Tom) for years now. They do great work at reasonable prices (certainly compared to what dealers charge) and they are consistent, knowledgeable and very professional. My O4 Lexus RX 330 has 208000 miles on it and runs great. With bill and mike’s help I’m hoping to make it to 300000 miles. Thanks guys!

I had a terrible experience with Monro Muffler in Victor. They over torqued the lug nuts on my Dodge Caravan while rotating the tires. When I went take a wheel off in the same week the service was done, I could not get the lug nuts off with a 4-way lug wrench that I have used for over 25 years on all my vehicles. When I brought the vehicle back to Monro to explain the issue, an employee came out with a 5-foot breaker bar and had a difficult time loosening the lug nuts. The employee said this was a common problem for Dodge/Chrysler products. Ive owned this van for 5 years and have never had this problem before. It was definitely a mistake on their part. While loosening the lug nuts with the breaker bar, the chrome caps started stripping off the lug nuts. They made me pay to have ~10 lug nuts replaced. The lug nuts that I paid for were junk! The chrome caps feel off almost everyone of them in a few weeks. I had to replace them myself with parts I purchased at Autozone. I will no longer be getting any service done at Monro Muffler in Victor.

I lived over 200 miles away from where my car broke down. the gentlemen took my car in on the Sunday after Saint Patricks Day. Although you did not have the part, I was steered in the right direction and was able to get back to Albany the next day. the guy I spoke with was fair, understanding and honest. I appreciate everything that was done for me that day!
Kevin was wonderful during every interaction. All of the staff was great, and my repair was done before I finished my shift at work.
On Tuesday 6/11/19 I was driving up from NJ to Rochester and lost my battery in Binghamton NY. No one there could help me and so I got a jump and made it to Victor NY where I found Monro Auto Service. They were fantastic and after an hour of time they had completely changed out my old battery, checked out my alternator and got me taken care of with professional and outstanding service. We need a place like this one in NJ.
Excellent service. Did a transmission flush on my truck ending shifting issues I had with my automatic transmission. Also had spark plugs replaced. This on a Ford 5.7l all came out with a problem. These are notorious for breaking.
Bill and his crew have always been great to me, been going to them for years. When I am in a pinch they always accommodate, I have never felt like I got taken advantage of. I have told countless friends and coleagues about Bills shop. Keep it up!
Friendly, accommodating, great pricing, and most important of all, HONEST! Thats saying something when so many shops pad jobs, or even flat out lie as to what you need, and treat you poorly besides...NEVER with Bill, Mike and the guys. I have referred friends and family that are all now customers for life too. Really cant say enough about this location and crew.

I have been using this garage for oil changes and minor repairs (brakes, fluids, tires, etc..) for the last year and have always had great service. Friendly, reliable, trustworthy. Highly recommend this garage
If I have an appointment at 11, there’s no reason it should take until 6:30, past closing time to complete my oil change, I couldn’t do anything else that day because I was stuck waiting for my car to be done all day.
This was my second time visting this branch, they did great work for me. They got my car done same day and I couldnt be happier with the results!

Bill is always very friendly when I come into the shop. Their operation appears to run smoothly and I am always out of there in a timely manor. Its clean too, which usually isnt the case at most automotive places.

I have called and stopped by there on three separate occasions. They can never help, but they are especially rude on the phone. Done!

2022-04-04I was starting to lose hope on getting my truck fixed but I called and they were able to not only get me in today but also they were very transparent about the whole process, as well as very professional, and informative on what all was going on with my truck and parts involved. I couldn’t have asked for better service, especially as I had called about 5+ other places to only to be told they would not be able to get me in until Thursday and then that’s if they were able to get the parts needed. They really did save the day and go above and beyond the needed help which I was very impressed with and thankful for.

2022-01-04Been taking our vehicles to Monro in Victor, NY for many years. Fair pricing, good service, and honest feedback about your vehicles needs. On our most recent service, Kevin made sure our tires were ordered and followed up to ensure an on-time arrival. On a busy, short-handed day, Alexander went above and beyond to be sure our vehicle got completed and kept in touch with time estimates. The team aims to please.

2022-02-26Kevin was an outstanding manager who answered all of my questions, and upon figuring out that something was wrong with my TPPS light (came on after an inspection was created) brought my car in twice and did what was needed to remedy the situation. Very impressed when he went above and beyond to make sure the customer was satisfied.

2022-06-24I made an appointment for a routine oil change and dropped my car off at 8:00 am. When I returned to pick my car up at 5:45 pm, my car had not been touched. I was told they were very busy, and that I should come back some other day. I only have one car, so it is very inconvenient (and expensive) for me to drop the car off and pick it up later using Uber, and I was offered no credit or discount for the time and inconvenience. I wont come back because I dont trust that they would finish a simple job on time, so Im looking for a new garage.

2022-02-18Kevin and Alexander are absolute gold! Not all Monros are created equal, and this one is by far the BEST in the Rochester area.If youve had poor experiences with other Monro locations in the past, then the Victor site is the one you should be going to. Professionalism, knowledgable service, and fair prices. Every time.I truly cant say enough about how far Kevin and Alexander were willing to go to help my wife and I with the issues we were having with our cars. They really went above and beyond.We had 2 sets of tires (with alignment/balancing), 2 types of brake replacements, a NYS inspection and other routine maintenance all done in the past 6 months with them. Never any issues. In fact, they even were able to fix the alignment/balance issues that I was having, which were caused by another shops poor workmanship.The Victor, NY Monro is the only place my wife and I will be taking our vehicles from now on. Thank you again, Kevin and Alexander.

2022-03-11Had an appointment early AM, dropped it off and handed my keys to the manager. 6 hours later with no call or updates my car hadn’t been touched. No service was done on my car and I wasted a day for terrible service and no attempt to compensate. Only go here if you plan to throw TP at the building.

2021-12-11I almost never leave poor reviews but need to for this place. Beware, this place likes to over promise and under deliver!I made an appointment a week ago to have my tires put on. As we all do, I made arrangements to drop the car off first thing in the morning on the day of the appointment and arranged my schedule to be without transportation for the entire day. They had the car from 8am until 6pm, and when I called later in the afternoon to check on the progress was told they didnt start the work and wouldnt be able to get it done that day. After not having a car for the entire day I had to make arrangements for a ride to go back and pick up the car that night and then drop it off again the next day. They said since I was the next in line they would get the work done right away and would call when it was done. Almost closing time on day 2 and no call, so I called before closing and was told they hadnt even started the job yet!I dont think this company understands what it means to make or keep an appointment, or the amount of inconvenience they are routinely causing their customers. If you are too busy, than dont make so many appointments, or accept less work!I wont be sending them any more business.

2021-12-23I made an appointment for a NY State inspection a week in advance. When I arrived on time m the customer in front of me and I had to wait over 5 minutes while the employee at the front desk cleared and organized papers. A mechanic came out front and told me they wont be able to do my inspection since they had run out of inspection stickers. No call in advance, no apology, no attempts to find a other way to go me. Will not be going to that location again.
