Got some paperwork done quickly and with a minimum of fuss .Staff was friendly and got things done expeditiously with little fuss .
Why does it lake so long to get what you need out if these people. It kills me how upset you can get because you have too do your job.
The seat for Monroe County. Get permits and file paperwork at the county clerks office, register to vote at the Board of Elections, or rent the atrium for wedding/special event pictures.
Knowledgeable staff.

2020-06-05It looks like a beautiful building but the police standing outside without their badge numbers or names visible is very threatening. Why hide your name if you arent going to brutalize citizens? When asked to kneel in protest they all refused. Its almost as if they arent to protect and serve us. Fortunately the citizens nearby were all extremely helpful offering free water and hand sanitizer.

2017-09-16The fact that this place is outdated, is a result of saving taxpayers dollars. Sure an update could have much more positive effects in the community, but Monroe county is run very conservatively, in the sense that every decision is based on short term benefits, never considering long term effects. But I will always love living here

2019-01-06Absolutely beautiful architecture! Designed by J. Foster Warner, the cornerstone of the present day building was laid on Independence Day in 1894. Definitely worth a walk through if youre in downtown Rochester 👍🏽

2020-02-04Hop in the time machine and go back a few decades when walking into this place. The counter guy that helped me with same paperwork was pleasant but get these people some real office tools LOL.

2019-07-31My husband and I got our passports at the County office building, the process was smooth and the staff was so helpful. Also the building is beautiful!!

2016-04-17This place is gross; dirty and outdated. You could say archaic. Its bureaucratic red tape at its finest. The people who work there know how to take their time.
