Went looking for a new living room set. Al was the person who showed us around. He was very helpful and let us look around on our own without being followed throughout the store. He answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable. We were very happy. Will purchase a new bedroom set there also when the time comes.
Ordered a bed and a table from here. They told us they would call us when the furniture arrived estimated early-mid May. May 17th we call the store to get an update & apparently our bed has been there and they never bothered to let us know. Then we asked about the table & they said it wouldn’t be available until AUGUST. They had no explanation for why it was so delayed or why they lied about availability. If we knew this we wouldn’t have ordered that table. I’ll likely be canceling my order & asking for a refund. I don’t understand why they couldn’t let us know the availability had changed. How can you just say you didn’t know. If I’m paying over $300 for a product you could at least call to let me know I won’t be getting it until months later. I heard the customer service was terrible from several people before shopping here looks like I should have listened.
The customer service is horrible. My husband & I are new to the area and was told to come here. We purchased a couch in the beginning of July. We were told by the salesman that we would get our couch and coffee table in 2-4 weeks. I called at the 4 week mark and was told due to Covid it could take longer and they didnt really give me a time frame. I called every week asking about our purchase. I would leave messages for the salesman who sold us our couch and NEVER heard back. We are 7 weeks into this. I finally got a hold of him on a Thursday and he told me our stuff should be in Monday. I called him Monday and again he never called back so I continued calling. I finally got a hold of him and he said our couch isnt in and he would talk to the warehouse Thursday and would call me at 2pm. Its Thursday and its 4pm, no call. So I called 3 times and he is always “with a customer”. I finally asked the receptionist if she could look at my order for. She looked it up and said my order doesnt exist. May I remind you, its been 7 weeks and they took my $1500 day of purchase. She said she would have the manager call me back. I called back twice and the manager was “with a Customer”. I called again and the salesman that sold me the couch told me Ashley’s Furniture stopped making the couch I ordered and will be starting to make it again October 1st. WHATTT?!?! We asked to speak to the manager. He was extremely rude and unapologetic. Kept putting blame on Ashleys Furniture when in reality he should have called us to tell us this, but he had my money. Why would he call? We canceled our order due to the dishonesty, rudeness and horrible customer service.
This place is way more better than Raymour and Flanigan. I waited for months for my bed set to come in and was told I had to wait longer so I got my money back and went to Morrisons Furniture store. They had the bed set I wanted and was in stock so I didnt have to wait. Chris was a huge help and I appreciate what he did for me. I will be coming back to this awesome place and will be my number one pick.
Ordered a couch 8 weeks ago. We were told it would be delivered to us in 3-4 weeks. We still have not received our furniture and were told it won’t even be leaving the factory until mid-December which will put us at 12 weeks, by the time we receive it, it will be 14. I understand delays happen, however my wife and I have talked to multiple people who were given the same time-frame, and are in the same situation. We and others were obviously lied to just so they could make a sale. The only reason this review isn’t one star is in the hopes that the couch itself is good quality. I would not recommend that anyone shops here
I went in the store in August and purchased a living room set. The salesman told me and my husband that it will be here in 2 weeks. I called the week prior and I was told October 9. That’s more than two weeks but it was fine because we already received on sofa. I called the week of October 9th and the lady told me that it wasn’t leaving the warehouse until Nov 19th. At this point I’m upset because the man I spoke to last week and the salesman did not say it would take two months. I asked about a refund and he told me they will with hold 10 percent when if he had told me it would be two months I probably would have not purchased. The lady had the person who sold the sofa to call me back instead of the manager and he was very rude and unprofessional. There is no integrity in that place and I would not recommend.
Awesome experience! Morrisons was our first stop in shopping for a new bedroom set. The building itself was 5 or 6 floors high, each floor had furniture for a specific type of room. Our salesman, David, was very polite, knowledgeable, and professional. He showed us around, asked a few questions, pointed us in the right direction, and hung back while my wife and I looked and discussed what we liked. After we settled on a beautiful set (Ashley Furniture brand), he showed us the mattress sets and helped us pick out the one best for us. The quality of the furniture is very good, and the price was much less than we expected to pay! We also expected delivery to take several weeks after having read reviews for other places in the area. However, we bought on Saturday and it was delivered the following Thursday just as they told us. We live on base so we were unsure how delivery would go, but there were no issues. The delivery guys were very polite as well, and did an awesome job setting it all up for us. Overall experience was very good. Definitely would recommend, and will probably return when we start looking to replace other old furniture.
Honestly this company is one of the worst companies we have worked with. We bought our couch about 1 year ago, we did a credit card and then some in store credit no big deal well then Covid shut down happened literally right after we bought the couch. I called multiple times to try and make our first payment with them and no one answered every single time. I assumed (shame on me I guess) that they were also closed for the shut down, NO ONE CALLED ME BACK to request payment either btw, so when I knew for a fact they were open I called to make a payment they said I owed like 2 or 3 months of payments. Was completely unwilling to work with me about it either even through I was not the only one to blame in all this (lady claimed they were in office and accepting calls and payments durning shut down). Fast forward, all is well paid in full blah blahblah, I noticed something wasn’t right with our couch, we purchased the “warranty” thing for it but no one was answering or it said number was no longer in service so I called Morrison’s to find out what I needed to do to file a claim with the other company and they told me because my couch was less than 1 year old (it was like month 4 maybe 5 at most) it was covered with the store. They sent some one out like 2 weeks later the dude said it was not fixable and the store should be calling my the end of that week(ha they didn’t) I had to CALL THEM. They acting like at first they never gotten the email from the dude but when I had pushed them to “look” again it was magically there (wooow). Told me they would order the one part of the couch. Y’all this was in October, 3 weeks after the first call something was wrong... 3 WEEKS!!! I was then told it was on way. We got sick of sitting on a broken couch that costed us $1,500! So I called them and they said March was when the section of the could would SHIP from the factory. The month of that call was like end of November. Ohkay so fast forward AGAIN.... It is now the middle of March and the new ship date now is the middle of APRIL. The manager is unwilling to do anything about it. Told me pretty much “oh well, there is nothing else we can do for you”. This is unacceptable and not the way to treat a customer, we paid $1,500 for a couch have had it for 1 year and it broke ( dude who looked at it even said it was a faulty part that broke and was no way we did it) not even 4ish months of us owning it. I plan to attempt to go through the insurance thing we paid extra for and if that doesn’t work out WE WILL be talking to our military JAG office about what legal options we have. UNACCEPTABLE will not ever buy from here again nor will I ever recommend this place. They have been nothing but a nightmare.
Purchased a living room set on 10/28/20 was told 8-12 week delay. Called after 10 weeks delayed an additional two more months. Called after waiting an additional two months told would be delayed an additional month. Was advised by a rude receptionist that salesman should have told me furniture was originally delayed 15-22 weeks. We waited 6 months for furniture that never arrived. They took our money and charged us 10% to cancel order. It was a complete waste of our time and money, for them to only make a sale. Awful experience.
Purchased a king size bedframe. First delivery drivers noticed a chip on the side and agreed to replace. On second delivery (8weeks later), employees put a hole in the drawer of the bedframe frame and stripped the wire from our adjustable base. So now we have a drawer with a foot size hole in it and a $700 adjustable base that doesn’t work. Would recommend avoiding Morrison’s and buying from Raymour and Flanigan instead.
I bought a pretty expensive dining room table and chairs from them a few years back. After it was delivered my wife and I noticed there were scratches and dings on the tabletop and chairs. After a back and forth with the sales associate they agreed to replace it. When the new table came, we showed the delivery guys all the damages and one of em chimed, “what did you expect with the floor model”? I said “MF, I paid full price and no one said anything to me about getting delivered a floor model”! So anyways they tried to pass off a floor model as brand new. The new table had micro scratches on it and they were supposed to send someone out to look it at but they never did. I have since gotten rid of the table but I’m still bitter about this whole experience so I’m leaving this terrible review. Just make sure these guys don’t pass off floor models to you as brand new and then act surprised when you aren’t happy with it.
Told us that our sectional would be here in the beginning part of April its the middle of April so I called them. At first she couldnt find our stuff in the system and then told me our couch wont be here till June. Dont tell people theyll get their stuff a certain time if its not guaranteed. Seriously disappointed and will never use them again
Ordered a living room set in August Chris said it would be 5-8 weeks for delivery. Another employee said “I’m guessing sooner than that bud”. It’s now 9 weeks later no furniture. Call today they said another 8 weeks. First excuse COVID, 2nd back order and 3rd COVID again. Basically what all the reviews said these people will say anything for a sale. Very disappointed do not buy here.Can’t write another review, but just got a new up date. Another month of waiting. They are selling what they don’t have to maintain profit during covid. Ordered in August, please help me put a stop to this and bring action against Morrison’s with a petition to the Business Bureau. Just type Morrison’s furniture Watertown and sign if you have experienced the same issues.
This looks like a huge, old warehouse on the outside but there is so much to look at when you walk in. The staff is nice & informative; we told them what we were interested in & they personally took us to the floor to wait for another associate. We were given great advice & directed towards the couch that we ended up buying. Great price! They had a sale going on & they do military discount! Overall, Morrisons was a great experience, especially since this was our 1st time looking for a new couch.
That guy with the bed set named chris, forgot to mention that he didn’t move anything off the bed when we got there I had to move all his comfeters and pillows, his adjustable base shouldn’t of been paired with that bed set. That adjustable base you said was 700$ yeah it comes free with any queen mattress you get from Raymour. Also have ur stuff ready and you move ur stuff from here on out
We have gone back time and time again to Morrisons. The service is great and the sales people are easy to work with.We have purchased carpet for 3 rooms (they dont sell carpet any more) queen mattress, living room set, two China hutch pieces, smaller hutches, and two more living room sets including multiple recliners full sofas and love seat.Roy and Rick are some of the most personal and low pressure guys doing sales now days. Plus Morrisons will do free delivery and 12 months no interest loans.Great overall business in our community.
Went here for the first time today and had an excellent experience. The store front is very deceiving. Theres actually so much more inventory than expected. All the salesman were very personable and at no point did we feel pressured into buying something. Prices are reasonable and they are also military friendly.
I will always go back to Morrisons furniture for all of my needs. they have a great selection for reasonable prices, but most importantly the staff works with you and signs exactly what you need. you may pay a little bit more than other places, but the customer service makes up for it.
The staff here is amazing and super friendly!! They have answered all my questions!! I highly recommend this place for any furniture need!! I had a coworker recommend this store to me when I was looking for a new livingroom set. Walked in and found exactly what I was looking for!! I Wasnt pressured into buying something that was not within my budget. I also bought an entertainment center at the same time. The furniture is great quality and looks amazing in my home. I will only come here to shop for all my furniture!
Went to Morrisons looking for a laz-e-boy recliner and was supper impressed with there selection of all items of that brand. Rick is the guy to go to. I have known him for a very long time and he knows his stuff when it comes to furniture. The place was very clean, well lit and well setup. They have 6 floors of furniture. It was great to do business with a local business. There prices are very competitive to anyone it town also. Will definitely go back the next time the need arises. Supper happy...
Went in last September looking for a living room set. The salesman was wonderful. Wish i could remember his name. Hes would be the only reason id return.... Was told 2 to 4weeks and it took 2+ months said that the main factory has to send Ashley furniture to the main stores befor them and thats why it was taking so long.... Wanted it as we bought a new house and wanted it befor my sons birthday(in nov) . Sadly we had to barrow folding chairs for his party... They riped the couch and was told someone would be in contact to fix it. Never had anyone call us or come fix it then i got the run around when calling to find out when someone was coming to fix the rip... A week after getting it the back board on the Sectional broke... Now if i had a bunch of kids or even big kid messing around id understand it breaking but i have a 35lb 3yr old and my husband and my self. There was no reason other then a week or defective board. That doesnt bug me as the fact that a month ago the material holding the seats up riped out in the middle. When inspecting we found the metal that helps hold it had a gap and the sharp edging cought and riped through. Like i said i have a 3yr old so hes definitely jumped and been whild on it but we always stopped him when doing so but I really expected it to last longer then a yr. We paid 1300 or so for it and there wasnt a warranty or anything... Next time we will go somewhere elce. Maybe rent a center at least u get a warranty till its paid off.
Im giving yall two stars. Ordered a bedroom and living room set back in may, guess whats still not here...🤔🤔🤔. At first it was itll be delivered by june. Then it became September. All I keep getting is due to covid due to covid. Its OCTOBER now, at this point the wood being used better have been carved from Olympus and my mattress better have been filled with the fibers of Zeuss hair..
After spending over $2,000 on furniture for our new house, here we are after 3 months still waiting for our kitchen table that was placed in August. In September they sold our original table to another costumer so we were told it would be in by Halloween. Nopeeee, that got changed till November 3rd, then to the 17th, but now being told it won’t level the ware house till December 1st. Are you kidding me? My wife and family have been a costumer for years and never have dealt with such mess. Never again.
2016 I spend about $1800.00 for section couch....And guy told me that FREE DELIVERY....・ Couch came wrong Color!・Also they charge $39.00 for DELIVERY!・later...ending up pick up on my BIG couch・ i found a rip a new couch & they say they well send a Guy to take look at it.・ guy didnt came to my house! He whent my next door WRONG HOUSE!! & he Never call me & he left!!・i call so many time at Store & they say guy who deal with couch guy well call me back・ I never get phone call from him or if i call HIM they say Hes off today or launch or he just left・Finally he call me & he say he can SAWthis rip by his hand...i say NO! i wanna switch to new one!...i was deal with Those nonsense about 2Months....・i had a enough so i Borrow the Truck Drove DOWN & took back rip couch & switch to new one....i wasnt happy😠😢
I started dealing with Morrisons in 1964. I am so disappointed in the way my granddaughter and grandson-in-law were treated. Having 3 young children they wanted a good quality sofa so they went to Morrisons. They had to wait a month to get it but it was finally delivered this morning. The delivery men took the old sofa out, ripping it, and threw it in a snow bank. Brought the new one in, partly, realized it wasnt going to fit, ripped the new sofa and used the 4 letter word several times. Part of the new sofa landed in the snow, loaded it back in the truck and took it back to the store. Shame, shame on those guys using that language in front of young children!! They should be fired!! My grandchildren went back to the store, treated rudely, got their money back, went to Masseys Furniture and a new sofa is being delivered Monday morning. Al Davis, if you still work at Morrisons, I hope you look into this and rectify this HORRIBLE situation. You have lost my business!!

2022-04-15Excellent customer service from start to finish. Salesman took time to help me over the phone purchase a bed. The original item I had found online was not in stock but he searched and found something similar at a better price! I got the brush off treatment from a different local establishment. I have bought from Massey’s before and they will continue to be my go-to store for furniture!

2022-02-25We got a new sectional that we were very excited about. Fast forward to the delivery day… the movers lied and said it wouldn’t fit to avoid having to bring the couch in because they didn’t feel like it. After I called the store to ask why it couldn’t fit when we were promised it could fit through any standard door they all of a sudden could make it fit. One of the movers commented to my fiancé saying that I was annoying for having them actually do their job. He was not happy about that comment at all. Then they decided it was a good idea to put my brand new white/cream couch down in mud causing a stain I can not get out and I didn’t even have it for more then 5 minutes. I called the store again and no one cared or ever got back. I recently called again to just get a man that was supposedly the manager sighing (loud sighing) as I was telling him what happen. All he did was say “why are you telling me this now” and said he will write my number down.No one cared the first time I called and yet Again no one cared this time around either.

2017-11-17Found our newest entertainment stand for a great price. The gentleman who helped us was amazing all we had to do is pull up our picture of what we wanted from their web site and he knew where to locate one. These are too notch sales and service. The places is over 3 floors of furniture. They offer delivery and or pick up of your items. I must say its almost like talking to a neighbor it was no pressure to buy. We knew what we wanted and got it with in a week from ordering.

2021-12-22Bought a bed from them 3 years ago and for some reason the bed spring separated. They came out looked at it and filed a warranty for the bed. Great customer service!

We found the exact sectional we were looking for; Rick was friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent about our order... and I was BLOWN AWAY by how affordable the furniture is!! Not to mention the high quality. Highly recommend!Edit 7/13: I unfortunately have to edit my 5-star review from March. We ordered a sectional and ottoman on March 18th and PAID IN FULL, and were given a delivery estimate of beginning of July. Four months is a long time to wait, but we loved the customer service and the furniture we picked, so we agreed. I called today to check on delivery status and I am now being told “September.” This is really frustrating. I understand that production and materials are held up everywhere post-pandemic, but I have friends and family who ordered furniture from other distributors after me and received already. Meanwhile, we’ve been utilizing broken furniture for months waiting for our new arrivals, and now must wait months more. I’m so sad about this.

2021-05-21I ordered a sectional couch and a ottoman January 8th 2021, and was told it would be delivered mid April. I was okay with it because I love the couch but when I called mid April, I was told the delivery would be pushed back to mid May, and when I called today I’m being told it won’t be delivered until June. I’ve been waiting for my couch for over 16 weeks, 133 days to be exact. Every time I call the store and inquire about the status of said purchased furniture, the lady on the other line seems to have a bad attitude. I feel that a few weeks is acceptable but to wait 16+ weeks is in no way acceptable. When I asked about canceling my order and being refunded I was told there will still be a 10%/$160 restocking fee, they want to charge me a $160 fee for waiting for my couch for over 133 days? even though they have changed the delivery time on me many times and I have been without a couch all this time. LOL.
