2021-10-20Friendly atmosphere. Great sermons. Within reach walking and driving on Roosevelt Island and free Red bus transport. Beautiful architecture. Can dress casual and relax. Covid compliant. Outside church at times. Near the water with spectular views of Manhattan close by across the river. Love it.

2017-08-27An authentic, welcoming, warm faith community. When I first came across this church it was such a pleasant surprise, never thought Id find something like this on Roosevelt Island. But in fact its about as perfect a cross-section of this island as you could find - people of all ages and walks of life. And in that, its a pretty darn good cross section of NYC as a whole! Worships great, preaching is witty, real, with a great balance of encouraging and challenging! Worth checking this out!

2019-06-24I never went to church on a consistent basis until I stumbled into Hope last summer.I’ve felt drawn to learn more about God and the way of Jesus Christ before, but almost all of the churches I’ve had the chance to attend I found them to be either too large to be personable or implicitly segregated along the various lines of race, denominations, and class. But Hope was different. It’s difficult to find a genuinely diverse group of people from all walks of life who come together to actively engage with one another in the name of Jesus, yet here I found a church that did exactly that. And I thought “if any church truly reflected the diversity we’d find in heaven, this must be it.”So here I am, for the first time in my life, calling Hope Covenant my church, my home, and my family.
