Cute small hole in the wall cafe with a small curated Filipino and Asian grocery including ramen noodles and ube ice cream, also some random kitchen staples like frozen grated pandan and ube, dumplings. Seems there is a small food menu as well. Tried the taro latte with almond milk and picadillo bun which made a great snack. Small sofa and window seating available.
Absolutely amazing coffee - I always get an expertly done latte here, friendly staff, and great filipino treats (delicious cassava cake! have ordered this at least 5 different times, always perfection!), also loved the taro latte. Prior to covid, great indoor space, well lit and inviting, quiet enough to get some work done.
Easily one of my favourite coffee shops. It is no doubt that they have a perfect 5 stars. Everything they do is 10+!Mountain Province is a short step from my office so naturally I buy my coffees, muffins and sometimes take up there space to do some work. The vibe and friendliness of the staff is so awesome. They greet you with huge hellos and get to know you and the coffee you like really fast. (Also very reasonably priced)Ive ordered the egg sandwich on a scone. Holy crap its superb. They use a spicy banana tomato ketchup, it gives the sandwich an awesome kick. The avocado toast is also really great and filling. The space is small and cozy but as soon as you walk in you feel like home.I definitely recommend this awesome spot for great strong coffee and delicious all day eats.
The pastries at this place are BOMB. I dont know what magic they did to that cassava cake, but Im glad they only had one left by the time I came so I didnt have to embarrass myself in front of the other patrons. Come early, stuff runs out. Get that cassava cake, but everything else is also great.
My absolute favorite coffee shop in the city. Great space to get some work done. Unique selection of tasty pastries (and some delicious avocado toast). But best of all, staff are truly kind, friendly, and take the time to get to know the regulars. Sad I no longer live down the street!
This is a small local Cafe in Williamsburg. If youre looking for a different ambiance this is your spot. They make delicious homemade Filipino desserts and theyre coffee is imported from the Philippines. The owner is very warm and friendly he sat with us and gave us food compliments and started a small chat. Nice, cozy place and I would come back every week. Having breakfast here just feels like youre back in the Philippines.
Best coffee in my whole entire fall season is found here.Place: It doesnt have very big sign so you have to find it carefully. Not much of decoration yet it is cozy little place.Coffee: Latte was perfect! I like my latte to be soft and creamy and it was at its best and size was slightly bigger than other place (I think it was 16oz)Food: I tried coconut muffin, and It was like nothing else in the planet. I really liked the real coconut on top of my muffin and overall It just was awesome.Service: people were really welcoming and friendly.
My second home - one of the best neighborhood cafes I know. Itβs comfy, the staff is super friendly, the WiFi is fast, the music is good (including once some cool Filipino jazz pop that I now have on my own playlists), and the food is creative and awesome. AND they serve tea in these wonderful big fat mugs that just make you feel better (and with a spoon and plate to take the tea bag out - idk why this isnβt a thing everyone does, but oh well).Try the Ube Brioche, and also the avocado toast - it might be one of the best in Brooklyn.
Wow. That egg sandwich is BOMB. The juicy umami frittata, runny egg (how it should be), and kick from the banana ketchup work perfectly together for an excellent sandwich. The bread was a little soggy but the overall flavor of the sandwich more than make up for it.The filter coffee also had personality, with some notes of cocoa towards the end of the cup.Although I took my order to go, the place has a cozy and chillβ yet not crammedβ vibe, though the decor could use a little update.
A decent place if you are on the move and need caffeine. Definitely not a spot to go sit down and work at. There is NO bathroom. The staff mostly friendly but can also come across as passive aggressive. Coffee is sub par. They use cheap cups as well. Pastries are just ok. Spots like this wonβt last in my opinion.
Im revising my review of this place. I dont know if they changed ownership or what, but they dont serve iced coffee anymore... like what?!? Why??? Why would you stop serving iced coffee? They only serve cold brew now... and I think they have a $5 credit card minimum that they never had before.
I was looking through my camera pictures for a cassava cake picture cause I thought I took one. Later on I realized that I wasnt able to take a snapshot because I imediately took a bite of the famous dessert after it was served. Haha! First timers should totally try out their adobo sandwich and cassava cake!About the character of the place, the tables height were convenient for a good working posture. Seats are two per table which I dig a lot because I usually like to sit alone and I try to avoid those long cafe tables. The interior was not too busy and the staff was nice as well.

2020-02-02A welcoming and charming cafe with amazing coffee, and an expansive espresso + tea menu. The Taro latte is a must try when you want more than your usual coffee. The family run establishment *also* has delicious Filipino breakfast treats. My favorite is the pork longanissa! A bonus is being able to see them put everything together. Everything is delicious and made with love.My favorite morning spot in the neighborhood. Grab a book, and chill in the am at this spot.

2022-01-16I live right across the street from here and been meaning to try it, so so glad I finally did today!I had the sausage sandwich and taro latte which were so filling and delicious. The veggies were seasoned perfectly, sandwich very flavorful, and the taro was not too sweet which I liked! Also very kind staff :-)Will definitely be coming back here soon. Always awesome to know about fellow AAPI small businesses.

2022-02-03βBaristaβ with the dismal thick black frame glasses and beanie loves to serve coffee with an attitude and a complete disregard for your order. No wonder he left the Midwest for Williamsburg- no one would tolerate such manners in a civilized community. Perhaps he should work at Dunkin instead? Otherwise, this coffee shop is good and the baked goods are nice.
