I order medical supplies for my cat from Mountainside Medical Equipment. I get 5 items for the price I pay for one locally. I got a cute thank you card from them. I highly recommend Mountainside Medical Equipment. My medical supplies came in the mail quickly. I would give 100 stars if I could.
The items I ordered at Located in another warehouse. I called to find out why my order was taking so long to fill and find out that they dont actually have my items in stock and they have to order them from a distributor first. Apparently that is the norm for a lot of their items. If you can wait 2 weeks go ahead and order from them. I cant and resorted to ordering from another company. Meanwhile I am out supplies and patient appointments had to be postponed.
21 yr retired Female veteran wanting to support another veteran business, Ordered Empty IV bags by accident and tried to ship them back and the cheaper price was $26.00. Called and asked for a once shipping label only to be shoot down by a rute, harsh tone female who replied WE DONT DO THAT when I said I wouldnt be ordering from them again, She said OK and hung up on me!P.S, Ive written two other reviews in my like and this gives me great satisfaction knowing that I can save a customers money. Buyer beware!!!After posted, Greg the supervisor reached out to me and offered a pre-postage mailing label and full refund. he also said he would address the issue. Im very, very happy because i do like their products and prices.Thanks you Greg.Sherry
Their customer service is so bad, I dont understand how theyre in business. They refused to answer simple questions over and over-- I was just trying to find out if my vets prescription would be valid for my order or not. After FOUR TIMES asking this customer service person via email, three of those times the same question over and over, I lost my temper and asked to talk to a supervisor. He was even less helpful.If I had checked their reviews first I would have seen the other reports of their rudeness. I wish Id never found their site because it ruined my afternoon. Luckily I never went as far as finalizing the order with them, because I wouldnt trust them to fulfill it.
I purchased a $109 wrist brace from Mountainside. When it did not arrive as advertised, I contacted customer service. It was apparent from the start, that I knew more about the brace I purchased then their customer service rep. After several emails, and a few misguided attempts to try to cover their advertising error, they just quit responding to emails. I was able to purchase the missing piece for $6 elsewhere. I hope they find that this inexpensive piece, that was clearly supposed to be a part of the original brace that I paid for, was worth the future profit of my business and the negative review. Worst customer service Ive experienced on the web. Should have paid more and bought from Amazon.
This is for customer service only. I have not received my package yet.I have been trying to get some supplies for 2 weeks. Just now managed to get my order placed.I was paying with Paypal. The payment was not going thru. I called paypal. They told me that my payment was going thru fine, it was being rejected by Mountainside. I tried numerous times to put thru the payment. I then tried numerous times to contact Mountainside about the problem. No reply. Absolute silence! Certainly not interested in my concerns. I just decided to try putting it thru one more time. Magically, my payment went thru.To me it is an oddity that a business doesnt care that a customer is having trouble sending money!
Mountainside Medical Equipment has the poorest customer service I have ever encountered. With decades working in marketing management and tele-sales - and more years as a customer - I must state that they are the worst I have ever encountered.The order taker hung up while I was talking. I called back to inform a supervisor, and he refused to close his mouth to allow me to describe the experience. He made me furious. I reacted to his repeated rudeness, but it will not happen again. I will never contact Mountainside Medical Equipment for any reason.
Christina was very helpful, I went to there outlet store connected to the main building and had to find compression stockings for my fiance. She helped me pick the right pair that would fit and gave me some tips to help get them on and off her, as they are fitted very tight. Thanks for all the help!!!!!
GC America dry mouth gel works great. From personal experience I learned that dry mouth can cause a variety of oral issues. Even though I get good reports from the dentist during my cleanings, two of my teeth fell out. My dentist then recommended this specific product. I tried another brand, Bio_____, first but was still waking up at night due dry mouth. After ordering GC America dry mouth gel and using it I find it works better than the other brand and I no longer experience dry mouth day or night.

2021-07-13Have purchased various products from this company before, I really prefer purchasing local so it’s easy to call and stop at the store front for pickup. This call was probably the most pleasant employee I’ve dealt with! I was a little particular as this order was being shipped to me vs my normal pickup. The gentleman’s name I can’t recall but he placed my order for the item I requested and kindly suggested a new product that I hadn’t known of. I received both items very quickly and LOVE the mountain ice that he suggested I give a try. He was very knowledgeable and patient with me. Employees via phone can make or break my future purchases, and mountainside has 5star customer service!

2019-05-27I received a multi item order a few days and I am pleased, but for one issue. The I.V. fluids that were received.Of the items ordered were five 500 ml Normal Saline I.V fluids for infusion. Four of the five I.V. fluids are set to expire in February 2020.That is about seven months away. One of the I.V. bags is set to expire in January 2020.My experience with I.V. fluid producers is that any newly made I.V. products have a two year shelf. Such brands as Baxter and or Braun These I.V. fluids so close to the expiration date. Should have clearly been posted on the website. Allowing the consumer to make an informed decision. I would have not ordered these items even for $9.95 per I.V. bag.In good faith, Ive contacted the company and was sent a return authorization number, but not a shipping label. Ive written two emails requesting a return shipping label to send the I.V. fluids back.There has been no response to my request for a return shipping labelas of the writing of this review. 16 May, 2019First of all the items were shipped free of charge. In turn, I expect the same courtesy for the return shipment. Second, I did not ask forShort dated I.V. fluids. and would have never ordered said items.Im not the one at fault here and will not pay for mistakes that were initiated by Mountainside Medical Equipment.To have the five 500 ML bags of Normal Saline shipped back toMountainside Medical Equipment is going to cost $23.40 USD.That is nearly half the purchase price of the I.V. fluids for $50 USDA cost that Im not willing to accept. Given the genesis of the problem.My point here is, if Mountainside Medical Equipment is not even willing to do the right thing on the simple and small issue as this. I will never trust them on any significant issues nor deal with this company in the future.The photos below are the I.V. fluids I, received on 14 May, 2019The expiration dates are clearly visible on the I.V fluid labels.I stand by the written statements above as factual.Mountainside Medical Equipment had their chance to do the write thing.To resolve this issue and that time has passed.

2019-08-01The hand cream I bought says in the description is light scented but contrary to that it is very strong to the point that not even after washing my hands several times the smell still there. This company just blame the hand cream makers and do not take any kind of responsibility not even for $4.99 value item and I would have to spend about $10.00 on shipping both ways to get a refund of the item only. They put themselves first and then costumers. Mountainside people Always remember that you have competition and you will start loosing more in the near future. Update: Thanks for the full refund.

2021-07-13I ordered blood collection supplies and paid from them, but then they emailed and said they could only sell them to dictors offices. Why not be honest when doing business with poeple? I dont like wsting my time with online companies who seem to get your business one time and then move on to the next sucker.

2019-01-26I have been using this company for General Medical supplies for several months now and Im quite pleased with the service I received. Each time I place an order, it is promptly sent out. If there are ever any questions with an order, a simple phone call was met with courteous staff who are eager to answer questions and resolve issues. I plan to continue doing business with them for as long as I can. Keep up the great work.

2020-04-26Ordered a burn cream which WOULD have been helpful to get within a week after having a nasty burn. Package didnt arrive until two and a half weeks later. But they returned it instead of calling me due to an address error. Immediately emailed them asking for them to resend it. Its been a month and no package nor follow up. Greg was the person I was in contact with. This was also long before shipping was taking awhile and before any stores were closed.

2016-12-08I was ordering for my elderly father who needed a product immediately upon the release of a care facility. Gregg guided me through the correct purchase and kindly suggested the best shipping to get it to us as fast as possible. Will continue to order only from mountainside hoping every customer service rep is as helpful and kind during the crazy holiday season as Mr. Gregg was to me.

2019-07-23Shipping is consistently fumbled and held up. Most orders take over two weeks from initial checkout to our door. The Oregon trail has seen faster results in travel time. Takes many days for order to even ship. Something needs to be adjusted within this company when it comes to processing orders and shipping. Every other website we have purchased from arrives within 7 business days of ordering. Products are always good, however the wait time is agonizing.
