They are really thorough, organized, and super efficient while also being meticulous about all the important details. The manager George is really wonderful to work with, and he has a great staff around him. Couldn’t recommend more, if you’re looking to install central air and are fortunate enough to have the money to do so.
We have just had a ductless HVAC system installed in our apartment. MrAIRNYC are just incredibly professional and efficient. The work was completed in great time, the workers were courteous and very skilled and left the place looking immaculate. They also handled all the paperwork for the ConEd rebates and capital improvements. This was a real textbook installation and could not have gone better. The system is great and all the areas where installation took place have been sealed and there is almost no trace. A great job at a great price. Thoroughly recommend this company.
We spoke to many different companies and received many quotes before deciding to use Mr. Air and Im so glad we did! George made the process extremely easy for us from start to finish, including cleaning up after the installation.Im very happy with the quality of the installation that Mr. Air did on our HVAC system on 2 levels. They expertly planned out the installation to minimize drywall work and disruption and did an excellent job on the installation itself.I would definitely recommend Mr. Air!
I picked this company due to its great reviews and they are very much on point.Starting with the very informative and friendly Joshua who answers your call, the customer service is top notch. It just continues from there with George, who was extremely knowledgeable, professional and very kind. He came out to see the areas in which I was interested in placing a system and gave input on what would work best and where. When I had decided to move forward with their very reasonable proposal, I had a new system in place within a week. The customer service alone is priceless. The workers were respectful and professional and did a long days work beautifully. George runs a company you can definitely trust. I highly recommend.
Unfortunately I did not end up using Mr. Air NYC. These guys seem to always have work coming in which is always a good sign. Our heat pump split unit stopped working last week. George from Mr. Air NYC is very knowledgeable. Although i had to wait a few days from the initial call, I was able to do a Zoom call to do some diagnostics and sent him some marked up floor plans. We were not in need of immediate repair since the weather has been forgiving. He walked me through different options to remedy the issue and pointed out some issues with the existing install. He asked a lot of very good questions trying to verify every aspect of install to give you the proper price. His price was fair compared to our other estimates. I will definitely reach out to them again when we have a more serious issue or a complete system upgrade.
Excellent turnaround. George was able to get our heater fixed in half a day despite needing to fix two separate issues and go out for parts each time. He was very accommodating about scheduling and willing to speed things up to fit my schedule. He seemed to know what he was doing, and so far everything is working great after his repairs. Would definitely use them again.
THIS COMPANY IS GREAT! We went into the process of updating our hvac with a lot of trepidation. We interviewed 5 other companies and were pretty much left with more confusion and more trepidation. Then we found Mr. Air. George was very thorough in describing the process and was very patient with our numerous questions. His price was fair, and lower than most of the quotes I got. Basically, this company is fantastic and the installation process was a breeze, no pun intended. They were quick, efficient, hardly made any noise, were polite, and cleaned up after themselves. What more could you ask for! I highly recommend.
Not only does George do split unit installs and maintenance and he does Central Air maintenance also.Had condensate water leaking from my unit and setup an appointment with George. His staff was polite and respectful on doing maintenance and troubleshooting on my central air. The central air unit was in the attic only access to attic was from my daughters bedroom, they took extra diligence and extra care not to disrupt my daughters room. Also checked out my freon levels to make sure everything was optimal.They fixed the problem and replaced the part and most importantly no up-sell of any kind. Stand up guy. Highly recommend for your AC needs install or maintenance.

As a business owner I’ve had a variety of experiences with AC companies. Its very difficult to find a straightforward, honest on time tech crew. These guys are fantastic, I’ve used them a few times now and probably wouldn’t call anyone else from now on

2022-01-21I had mini splits(with the heating capability) installed throughout my house with the condenser installed on the roof. They had to break into my walls and seal them back up. There is 9 mini splits and this was an expensive job which definitely made me worried. I didn’t want to go cheap on the work because I wanted it done right. Everything was definitely done right and Iam 100% satisfied.They were the most knowledgeable and gave me all my options. Other (got 3 quotes) were just trying to give me the quickest install possible which is not what I wanted. When I asked them about other options the pricing started to go up and they were not confident about what exactly to do (or couldn’t explain it) Mr Cool came up with the best plan and were the best communicators. There is not one bad thing I can say about them. I am really happy i chose their service for this big investment into my home.

2022-08-21MR AIR NYC installed a double split unit in our upper east side apartment in June of this year. They did an excellent job at every stage of the process. Our building required architectural alteration application, and George with the team were helpful in all steps of the process. The whole installation lasted two days (including a new electric panel which had to be installed since we are in an older building). The crew was very efficient and although we are on a higher floor, they managed to instal the outdoor unit. The outside unit is right below our window, and it does not obscure the view. The indoor units are up on the wall, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. Both units are barely noticeable and keep the temperature very comfortable. We recommend a split unit AC system and *highly recommend* MR AIR NYC for an installation job.

2022-07-10We researched several options when we decided to get mini-splits and ultimately decided on Mr. Air. George and the folks at their home office patiently answered any questions we had on the phone and at a couple of site visits. Their workers were professional, clean and efficient and also, listened to any concerns we had while the work was being done. Theres a bit of the unknown until you get behind the walls which was a concern before we started. Everyone worked together as a team and explained and took input on any variation from the original plan. We appreciated their empathy and flexibility. George was in touch or stopped by every day to answer questions. Everyone showed up on time and the job was finished within the timeframe originally given. Were extremely happy with our new system.

2022-03-31Imagine how you would like a split air installation to happen. A professional comes round to your property, listens to your requirements, presents a couple of different potential solutions and explains the pros and cons.Then, having order the components, a large team shows up early in the morning, works until late at night. They put down protection, clean up after themselves each evening, and have the job done in a week.Then the boss arranges a time to walk you through how to operate the system.This is exactly what happened. Im sure these guys are not the cheapest, but they are very professional and the system was commissioned and worked first time.Very impressed.

2022-08-24George and his team were very responsive and did a fine job installing a mini-split in our living room/dining room. There were some tricky problems placing the inside unit, but they figured out an excellent solution. I would use them again in a NY minute...

2020-09-21Before I used Mr Air, my AC system was installed almost completely wrong, was often leaking, and did not cool all rooms evenly. I hired George and his team to come in and rerun all of the drainage, cooling, and communication lines from my units to my condensers. They showed up early in the morning and had the whole system rerun and fixed by the end of the day. I now get consistent cooling throughout my whole system and have had 0 issues since the work was completed.George and his team are professional, knowledgeable, and get stuff done. I have found them so much easier to work with then any other HVAC company I have used.

2020-03-19I did a lot of research and consulted with a handful of different companies around the NYC area before deciding on Mr. Air. I am so glad we did, as George is a true professional and is very upfront and transparent about the whole process.His team worked quickly, efficiently, and did a very nice job with the install - which looks very clean well thought out. They cleaned up afterwards, removed all rubbish, and were very mindful of our space and property. Joshua, who helped with appointments and quoting was also very helpful. I never felt like any corners were cut, and all of our concerns were addressed.Additionally, communication was great, the quoting process was very thorough, and I never felt like I was talking to a salesperson, but rather a professional expert, which really made the process very easy for us.I highly recommend Mr. Air for split system / HVAC installs and service.

2022-01-07I cant recommend Mr. AIR NYC enough. They installed ductless split units throughout my apartment. The team was very responsive and professional. The installers were great and knowledgeable. Furthermore, they went above and beyond to help me with some other apartment issues. I rarely have such positive experiences with contractors.

2018-03-05I needed help with my Fujitsu split AC as it was leaking droplets of water indoors. I called them on a Saturday and George came as soon as possible to look at it. He gave me some recommendations on cleaning it and also helped to clear some pipes on the outside that was causing the issue. I was very grateful for his speedy service and technical know-how!I also asked them for a quote on building a security camera system at my place. He was able to offer great advice and different options that would fit my needs and budget. At no time did I feel rushed to buy or that he was trying to upsell me the most expensive unit possible. I liked the free appraisal and the follow-up care. He even remembered to call me back days later to see if I was still interested!I can see from his other reviews that he does great work. You can rely on him not just one time, but for all your future needs and problems. If you call the company, definitely ask for George. He is really friendly and offers professional service.
