Im moving to a new apartment next week and have one copy of the Mul-t-lock key, which requires special equipment to be duplicated. I showed up at the store today (a Friday) just as someone was leaving and was told the store was closed and is only open on Saturdays now. I showed Michael the key and asked if it was one that could be duplicated if I came back tomorrow. He motioned me inside, made me two copies of the key, and could not have been nicer or more professional. The guys got a big heart. If you need keys made or other locksmith services, this is the place! I will never have keys made anyplace else! Thank you, Michael!

VERY POOR EXPERIENCE!!We hired this company to install keycode locks and pry shields on all doors on the first floor of our condo in Chicago. We used an employee named Eran. We did eventually have a break-in where the thief easily broke into the main door and was able to open all the doors with the pry shields and steal stuff from garage. Eran came back out to inspect and was going to prepare some quotes. That was a month ago. I have emailed him several times and called his office 3 times. Never once was I followed up with. The last time I called I explained how long we have been waiting for a quote and that we had minimal security, with all the pry shields broken. The person I spoke with seemed to care and implied he would get Eran to finish the job, but that also did not happen. I would not do business with this company.

Horrible service. I called and they said that someone would arrive in 25 to 35 minutes. After 40 minutes I called back because no one had arrived yet. They said that someone would be arriving in a few minutes. After another 30 minutes I called back. Again, they said that someone would arrive in a few minutes. After another 30 minutes I called back and they said that they hadn’t actually sent anybody and accused me of calling multiple locksmiths when that hadn’t even happened…. Had to cancel and waited so long for nothing from them. They should have told me that at they could not help me from the beginning, instead of misleading me and having me wait for someone who was never going to show up.
Asaf and the whole Mr Locks team are SUPER HELPFUL - I came in with a last minute issue - they were able to help with part of it (great job!) and then proceeded to get on the horn and reach out to their industry contacts until they found a solution for the other issue - they were more than willing to locate and send me to another locksmith/shop to make sure my other issue was handled ASAP (even though they could have told me sorry we will have to order it /come back tomorrow..) - I would highly recommend (especially if you have last minute / must have issue ) ASAF and MR LOCKS!

Strictly speaking, this location is not open 24hrs. Their actual hours are posted on the door. If you need a key made at 6:30am and it is not an emergency, it would be helpful to know this. Other similar businesses have their regular store hours posted online and a phone number for 24-hr emergency service. I should not have to call to determine your store’s hours. That is what the Internet is for.

Years ago they replaced my lock -super easy and fast and very professional job -I was very pleased.Was on my way to the hardware store to get keys made and came in and asked if they made Leo’s -he said sure no problem. This was the best experience ever. At 8pm I locked myself out of my office storage and I needed the contents. I called Mr. Locks, and a locksmith called me back five minutes later confirming hed be there in fifteen minutes. Ten minutes laters and hes downstairs. Five minutes later the lock is unlocked. Super professional and really nice guy. The fee was reasonable too, especially for an after hours call to FiDi.

I just moved into a new apartment and had 2 locks changed. Had a great experience with these guys. I was able to schedule an appointment the next day, they came at the scheduled time and got the job done in 10 minutes. Oriah, the technician, was really professional and kind. They charge $135 for an hour of labor plus cost of the locks. Would definitely recommend them and will definitely call them again when in need.

I was locked out of my apartment and called - two very polite and helpful people were at my apartment within 15 minutes. They went through step-by-step and made sure I understood everything they were doing before they did it. I was back into my apartment, with a new set of locks and new keys at max, 10 minutes after they arrived. They were very reasonable about price and they calmed me down during an extremely bad situation. I highly recommend them.
The Mr. Lock team was professional both on the phone and in person, and the entire experience was seamless and positive! The technician arrived perfectly in the window of time we were told, and immediately was able to find our issue/ rectify in less than 30 minutes. Our business was in no way disrupted by the process and the technician did not try to overcharge us or point out other existing problems we may have, simply do the job that was needed in a polite and courteous manner. 2022-05-18Mr. Locks service was so great!! I lost my apartment key and had called multiple locksmiths and tried a few kiosks to get a key remade same day without any luck. When I went to Mr. Locks I was in and out in less than a few minutes and they even made me another spare (after telling them I lose everything)! I don’t remember the last time I’ve had such great service, especially in NYC. I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know who needs locksmith services.

When I went to Mr. Locks he not only provided me with a new key in 1 minute, but he also provided me with a spare. Quick and good service is hard to come across in NYC, so I will definitely be recommending Mr. Locks to anyone I know who needs their services!

2022-06-28My key was locked in the car on the night the big snowstorm hit. So it sat until 3 days later. I called for service. The tech came within 20min. He not ok only got the door open, he also used his vehicle to give my battery a boost. 2022-08-03Key Copies Done Here!!I had to get a few copies of some keys made and I came here and Amir was able to key them done beautifully and fast. I was honestly shocked at how fast he was able to get them done. The keys work perfectly and I recommend anyone who needs to get their keys copied come here.

2022-06-29This is a clearing house for local locksmiths. You wont get the same locksmith when you call and they seem to basically send out a all cars request when you call them. Received multiple calls from different locksmiths after phoning them saying they were on the way. The locksmith who did come the first time didnt properly fix our Kevo system and the second locksmith also did not properly fix the issue and still charged $400 dollars. Finally called a different, better locksmith who identified a broken bolt and fixed it and our system in under an hour for $150 buck. Do not recommend. Zero Stars.

2022-05-15Just had the WORST possible experience with this locksmith. My apartment gave me their information to call for help when I was locked out on a Saturday night. They called right away and came quickly, but that’s the only nice thing I can say. The locksmith who came was extremely rude and unprofessional, and he charged $245 to replace our lock because according to him, our lock was a commercial one and he couldn’t get into it without destroying it. He replaced our lock with a cheap, basic one and charged $220 for a lock that can’t be worth more than $50. To top it all off, he demanded immediate payment though Zelle instead of a normal business platform, and he left all the metal shavings on our floor afterwards. 0/10, would NOT recommend.
