Hi yeah dont come here. I came in to get a 30 dollar oil change and was charged 84 dollars because I was charged for the most expensive oil that I was not consulted about using and they also charged me for an oil plug without consulting me first. I waited twice as long as I should have. I had also asked for a light to be fixed above my license plate and it was not fixed. No one communicated with me why it wasnt fixed. Dont come here if you want to pay way more than you need to.
On October 2nd, I dropped my Jeep off at MR Tire 4900 Lake Road, Brockport, for an oil change and brake replacement. They were slammed, so I left it. I ended up picking it up after the repairs were completed on Monday evening October 4th. On Tuesday October 5 I drove it around for work (home health nurse). At the end of the day, the front driver side tire would completely lock up in reverse. I baby it home from Rochester, and call the shop the next morning. They were unable to tow it, so I had it towed there (at my own expense). They repaired the caliper screws that they messed up (one was missing entirely), at no charge. Great. I picked the truck up on Friday 10/7. Fast forward to yesterday (Sunday 10/17), and I am blowing oil. It is pouring out from around my drain plug. Mind you, I still have not been reimbursed for the towing fee. And now my truck will be in the shop for the 3rd time in a 16 day time span. Thanks for your incredible service. NOT!!!

New management, new manager is the best! Brought my car in to fix a tire, took longer than expected due to being short staffed that day and he didnt charge me a dime! Only place im going from now on
They messed up an oil change that left me without oil in the car 40 miles away. In the end they told me that they would give me two free oil changes to make up for it. But when I came in for the next oil change then lost any records that they said that do that. Update: Parent office found the record and are going to reinstate the original deal.
Wife and I have taken both of our vehicles and motorhome here for years. NEVER AGAIN. I bought all 6 tires from them 8 months ago, after a stem broke they told me they couldnt get my tire off my motorhome. I had to go down to their parking lot and remove, and remount the tire. If you dont want to work weekend close the shop. Absolutely horrible customer service too. Had I know I was gonna have to jack up, remove tire, and remount it, IN THEIR PARKING LOT!!! I wouldnt even bother calling them. Oh did I mention the horrible customer service? I really couldnt believe they were waiting me wait 2 days to get in. Who ever was running the front desk Sat May 15 2021 again Sunday May 16 2021 should not be anywhere near the customers. Looking for another tire shop in Brockport NY area. Never again.
This was the WORST service I have ever received at any garage. A bunch of scam artists that took four hours to complete a tire change.It took just shy of four hours for a tire change when they had my car on their lift for the entire four hours. The mechanics that apparently managers for this location continued to joke about how long it was taking them to complete the job. Continually were just standing around talking to one another and girl that was just sitting in the garage doing nothing at all.
I went in for just a replacement of a tire, my hood was opened and no one told me what it was opened for, my new tire was overfilled with air and my other three tires we not touched to balance the amount of air in each tire, I was forced to fill my other three tires myself. I do believe you should have your employees wipe down the tire and rim after installing because I had grease all over my rim and tire and was forced to ask someone to wipe it down
Brockport Store - these gentlemen are very helpful, customer focused! Car repairs can be stressful - their approach is caring, but truthful. Great crew!
I had taken my oversize Jeep tire to the Brockport location to have mounted on a rim. It was a Sunday afternoon and they were busy. Oscar got me right in and had the work finished in under a few hours. Thanks for the good experience

This place has always given excellence care to my vehicle. The team here is great! They really make you feel like a car owner and not like your car, with all of its needed repairs, is owning you. They are really kind and go the extra mile to help their customers. My first experience here was very welcoming. I went in for an oil change, initially. My car had just been sitting in a parking lot because it couldnt pass inspection; I was getting to it little by little, starting with the oil change. The guys here talked me into fixing it to be inspection-worthy and worked with me. Having my car for a year, ive been told by mechanics that its a waste of time and it is a headache. The guys at Mr. Tire assured me that, although its not a new car, that doesnt mean I cant get a couple more years out of it; they gave me hope. My mileage is low and the only thing that was preventing me from keeping up with the maintenence of the car, was the price. At mr tire they acknowledged that I was basically choosing between price and safety. They truly did work with me and i will be going back if I have further problems. Theyre great to talk to; I dont feel like every question I ask is going to increase my total bill. They are very polite and overall I had a great experience and walked out with 4 new tires w/ warranty, new brakes, an oil change and an inspection! I went back a couple days later because I heard a noise from one of the wheels. They gladly looked at my car and found the small problem, it was an easy fix. In the process, they found the origin of a small leak that was acknowledged during my inspection (we didnt know where it was coming from during the first visit). They helped me out remendously by changing my powersteering lines to get rid of the leak. A day later my car started smoking a little and I panicked, but did not hesitate to call mr tire. They were really friendly and asked me to bring the car in right away. They told me it could be some left over liquid from the previous work just heating off the engine, it should go away. We let my car sit outside and the store manager talked to me for a little while to reassure me they were there for me. The smoke stopped while I was at the shop but I saw more smoke while driving home, a larger amount. I called Mr tire again (expecting them to be annoyed with hearing from me, but they werent!!!) They told me to bring it in at my earliest convenience and I am going to in a couple days. I keep going back because I know they care about my safety, its a vibe that I get from them. Being a college kid away from home, the guys that work here have treated me how they would probably want their kids to be treated if they were in my situation. I feel like im very well taken care of here; not only by having a safe car, but also by working with me financially and taking the time out to make sure Im comfortable and not freaking out that Im having car issues (on top of 3 jobs and school). With a car like mine, its nice to find a shop that appreciates my business and doesnt try to take advantage of the not so new condition its in. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and I will not hesistate to go back in the future :)
Waiting for almost an hour to get a leaky tire repaired. Shouldnt take any more than 15 mins at most at all the other places Ive been to
I took my car for an inspection, oil change, and wheel bearing and after a day of holding my car was informed it would be $2,200 worth of work.This bill included several double parts and $400 to replace an oil pan which they said the drain plug was rusted on. I have since taken my car for an oil change without issue. After refusing the oil pan and double parts the bill was brought down to $1,500 to include brakes and rotors, wheel bearing, a wheel alignment, and tie rod end. At the time of agreeing to the work I was also told I may be charged another $200 if a caliper was frozen, good thing they didnt try to milk even more out of me.This place is definitely out to get anything they can out of you. It looks like they have undergone new management with more of an aggressive money getting tactic. I highly recommend avoiding this place.
This repair shop is awesome. I use them for everything. John, Gary, and Tim, worked very hard and got my brakes done on my heavy duty truck. Fast , friendly, and the prices are more than fair. The Brockport Mr.Tire has a great team, that ALWAYS exceeds my expectations . Highly recommended these guys.
My wife and I own a small car dealership, and probably the most valuable metric is our time and how easy it is to get things done. This transaction was smooth, cost-effective, and most importantly easy. We will be bringing more cars here
Customer service was great. They were happy to mount the tires I bought online, and do it properly with a TPS rebuild kit to ensure valve stems dont leak later on (which Ive had happen to me before).
When completing work on tires I asked them to make sure all tires had the correct air pressure...they did not do what I requested. Noticed on the paperwork they had the incorrect mileage for my vehicle . They had it by over 50,000 miles more than the actual!!
Almost got scammed out of $400 for an inspection. I took a car here to get an inspection, they told me they wouldnt pass it because a control arm was totally shot, metal on metal, a brake light was out, and they wanted $400 to fix it all and for an alignment. I had checked all of the car lights before going to the shop and already knew that none of them were out, so at this point I knew they were at least lying about the light. I had to ask for a receipt as they just handed the keys back to me, to which they replied I would get the receipt after I paid for their service. I told them I would not be paying them to do any work on the car and needed a receipt showing what they said was wrong with the car. The next day I took the car to a different mechanic, the control arm is FINE and the brake light is NOT out. Literally passed inspection at a different shop less than 24 hours after leaving this place. Im disgusted that they tried to take advantage of me, and I feel bad for any other unsuspecting people that have been here. Shame on you.
Took my moms 2011 Buick in for inspection. The car had never had breaks and it was time. Nikki Narvaez worked with me, was respectful, and very helpful. He explained everything and took me back to see the damage of the breaks and rotors. Very good experience and I will definitely be back!!!! Thanks Nikko!!!
The employees are polite and friendly. They are honest and straight forward and I feel comfortable going with what they recommend for my vehicle. They get my car in and out very quickly.
So my first experience there was not good. But i have to say they definitely redeemed themselves. The manager Nikko and his crew were great. Way better than the other manager. I would only go if he is working.
The staff down at mr.tire are very professional and willing to work with you! Joe behind the counter was very polite and understanding. Recommend them to everyone! I just wish 6 stars was an option. Good job guys!
Brought my truck here in a pinch for some tires and brake work to be done. The woman behind the desk was super helpful and worked quickly to help me get back on the road within the hour despite not having an appointment. Ill be coming back the next time i need any work done thats beyond my skillset just because of the atmosphere brittanie created and great price
*Note that this review sounds negative at first and thats because it was. I do indeed give a 5 star rating now and reading the entire review will make it clear why.------------------------------------Took my car in for an oil change. During which they rotate your tires and check brakes etc. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. However I am not pleased with the work done and will not be returning.They told me I needed (rear) brakes and also that I had a leaky oil pan. They added that I would benefit from their fuel treatment service. The total was ~$750 for everything. Maybe not a bad price tag but when you only expect a $20 bill... Anyway, I had them change the oil pan but planned to do the rest of the work myself.A week later I checked the brakes, they look fine. Nothing I need to rush into replacing. Im not surprised. A lot of places try to make some extra sales. But the concerning part was the oil leak we found near the front of the car. The drain plug was loose and it was leaking quite a bit for the past week. I understand mistakes happen but this is a business and I would expect more from them.-----------------------------Edit:I spoke with the manager about these concerns and he asked me to bring the car back in so that we could take a look at it together. I decided to give them a second chance because of the great costumer service they had at my previous visit as well as the genuineness of the manager and his will to rectify the situation.I got there and they pulled the car right in. Once they got the brakes dissembled, he personally showed/explained to me their reasoning for recommending new brake pads and rotors. This was something I couldve clearly seen myself if I had took the time to inspect them more thoroughly. (Now that I think of it, I believe they did give me the measurements of the pads on the phone but I dont think it meant anything to me at the time)I spoke with Gary about the drain plug as well. He said that the technician remembered tightening it. Checking the oil level revealed that not much oil was lost. In fact, I was surprised by how much oil was present given how loose the drain plug was. I dont really know what to think of it but Im not entirely convinced anymore that it being loose was their fault. Regardless, they werent trying to argue with me about it or place blame. Instead they wished to make things right regarding a possible mistake on their part. He offered to pay for my brakes as an apology for the inconvenience.This showed me that they are not just after your moneyat Mr. Tire. If anything, they are after your satisfaction. What started as a 1 star review was able to be redeemed due to some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. Not only will I consider them for future work, but I will also be recommending them to family and friends.
Love love love this place. Thry got my car in no problem and replaced both back tires in less than an hour with 3 other cars they were working on. The manager was super friendly and gave me a great deal! After hearing friends tell me about how much they loved this place I figured Id give it a try. Definitely going here from now on.

They are incredibly down to earth and honest with everything they do with your vehicle, I even got a phone call beforehand to let me know what was going on with my vehicle. I love going to the Mr. Tire store in Brockport! I mean, i dont love when my car breaks down, but as far as repair shops this one is the best. I always have excellent service and the prices arent bad either compared to some of the other larger dealerships. Brittanie at the desk is always so friendly and accommodating, she takes the time to explain everything to me and really just makes sure i understand what i need. I would 100% recommend this store for any car issue!
Had our car for over a week and TWO out of the four jobs did not get done, per their admission. We had to bring the car to another shop to get the remainder of the work finished and they said they didnt think all the work they said was done, was actually done. Also, the labor costs were 3/4 of the total cost for a BRAKE job?! Wont be going back Two thumbs down.
Very friendly manager. They will show you what is wrong. You can watch them working on your car. Yes I have trust issues with auto-mechanics. What female doesnt? I was recently in for an oil change. It was a Monday and they were very busy. I waited almost an hour and didnt think anything of it except I had another appointment to get to. All I asked was did he know how much longer? My wipers were worn so the manager gave me a free set of wipers installed.You rarely if ever get that kind of customer service anymore!Thank you!
Went and visited Mr.tire in Brockport on Thursday to get a price on tires and was greeted by the very friendly manager Joe. He promptly assisted me and wrote me up an estimate. I would highly recommend Joe and his staff for all of your vehicle needs.

If i could give you 0 stars i would. Trying to rip people off and take there money. Pressuring them into repairs that are not needed to pass inspection. First i am told my car failed inspection was going to be close to 2 grand but he was giving me a deal so it was 1500, told them no way and then it magically was down to 1100. Still told them no way and told them i would just pick up my car and take it elsewhere. Well lets just say it cost me less then $300 to get it fixed and inspected. Bad business dont go here unless you want to try and get pressured into repairs that you dont need
The people here are great. I trust that they will do the work right the first time and get it done in a timely manner. Theyve made recommendations that have saved me money on repairs in the past. I would definitely recommend them.
This is the place you want to shop at for any automotive work. The manager and staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. I went in for inspection amd tires, but knew my vehichle was having brake issues. Without me even mentioning it they knew as soon as they took the tires off that things were bad and before selling me anything they showed me everything and why it needed fixing.
Yeah avoid this place.... Went in for an emergency tire mount because brother in law was stranded on interstate and they would not even consider helping us mount 1 tire. Absolutely terrible customer service and should be ashamed of how they operate. What happen to those service stations that would drop what they are doing and help a stranded motorist. AVOID MR. Mr.Tire saved My Life😊😊🚗🚗I was on a Trip from NH to MI on the interstate having really bad and scary car trouble and Fate lead me to Mr Tire in Brockport NY where I Found a lot of Great Help and Service from Joe the Friendly Professional Manager and Butch the skilled man with the tools. My car died right at there doorstep 6pm lucky they were still there, it was Full w all my stuff that I was moving...they kept my car my stuff... food I had they let me use the fridge and kept it all safe...👍 There was a hotel right behind them up the hill and a yummy restaurant across the parking lot .... The next day by Noon they had the parts in and car done!!!!The car was fixed and ran great all the rest if the way back home....THANKS GUYS ur the Best
Stay away if you can. The employees are very nice. I went in to have 4 tires mounted and balanced. They asked me to come back in a few hours they were kind of busy. I came back, they took my car right in. It took almost 3 hours for them to mount and balance 4 tires. It was also very overpriced paying almost $120 for just mounting and balancing. About a week later my steering wheel began to shake on the highway. I checked to make sure everything was tight I noticed that two of the directional tires I had them install where put on backwards. I went to goodyear on ridge road they fixed it and said the balancing was way off . I talked to mr tire and they said there was nothing they could do about it and i couldnt prove that they liable. I will never go back to them
So our daughter, away at school at brockport was told that she needed to replace her rack and pinion steering and tie rods and it was going to cost us $1,800. Thank God Im from western New York and had someone look at the car who I knew. Turns out it was a wheel balance issue on the back left tire. For being a place called Mr Tire you would think they would have figured this out, nope. So Im wondering what would have happened after they replaced the rack and pinion and still had the shaking. Would we have gotten a refund, I doubt it. You tried to rip off an 18 year old girl away at school, really classy. You might want to reevaluate your techs too.

This shop lacked comfort. Did not feel inviting at all. And was grossly understaffed.
They did a good job and fixed a stuck oil filter from Jiffy Lube without Charging me extra. Never go to that horrible Jiffy Lube place they are the worst!
When they were done replacing my parts, I got my car back with all my back seats disconnected from the floor and practically thrown everywhere, had to bring the car back. Today I got my brakes done for way more money that an auto mechanic in Albion wouldve charged me, and now its making a creaking, cracking noise that has never happened when I get my brakes done.
Service at this location was fantastic. Brittanie was able to get me in quickly. Even with a full waiting room, she was fast and efficient. I will be coming back here for any of my future repairs because of the fantastic service i recieved from brittanie and her staff.
I probably do not need to tell you that Moses is a great asset to Mr Tire. I recently had my truck inspected and an oil change. He was extremely patient explaining what we needed to do to get my old truck inspected. You do not find this kind of attention at other shops.Thank You Steve

I can always count on them to be honest and fair. I check their work and research the parts they charge me for and its always fair. After the way I treated and price gouged with local competitors *cough North Side cough*, Im glad Ive got Mr Tire to lean on.
I had some work done at Mr Tire 8 months ago. All was well until recently, the problem recurred. I brought my car back in and they took it right in. Joe made sure the part was covered under warrantee, so I didnt have to pay for it twice. They got me right back on the road with everything working as it should.
I was happy with the service that I received. Would consider going back again.

I wish I could give zero stars as I paid to have four tires put on my 2012 Jeep Liberty and they tightened the back driver side wheel so tight that 3 out of the 5 lugnuts were completely broken off and the other 2 were loose. I will never take my car back there.

2022-01-29I would give them a A 0 star if I could. The service there was astonishingly terrible. They dont even have a store manager at the moment because they walked out 2 days prior to my appointment. They didnt even have my appointment in the system when I went in so I had to give them everything again no big deal except that they then failed my car inspection because of tint on my car. I bought the vehicle with the tinted windows and mind you they inspected the exact same vehicle the year prior with no issues. This is ridiculous Mr. Tire shouldnt even be in business anymore with the amount of vehicles they have completely destroyed on my friends. I went there as a last resort and it I shouldnt have even bothered. Good job Mr tire no wonder you dont have any employees

2022-05-26Overall I have to say that I had a very poor experience at this location. It was a long story but in short I had to bring in my car several times get the repairs that were done wrong corrected. The 1st repair the part was bad and they had to order and reinstall a new one. The other repair for a different part was not done correctly and I had to bring it back to get it fixed. Now several months down the line the same initial repair is having issues and I need to bring it to the dealer to get this finally resolved. People need to know truth. Dont bring your car here, please...

2022-02-06Went for an oil change. They are a bit pricey in comparison to our regular mechanic but were very accommodating and fast. Unfortunately they did not replace the sticker to indicate when my next oil change is due 😔Clean waiting area and friendly staff.

2021-12-26DO NOT GO HERE.. Took my new car there for a simple oil change. Kid that changed it brought it out me.. My car stalled out 6 ft from the building. He never put the cap on and never put oil in it. I walked back in and the manager tried to play it off as if they were gonna just.. Top it off for me..I checked it myself and it was empty.. Now my new car has an engine knock when warming up. Taking it my dealer next step to see what damage has been done. This is not over...

2021-11-15Although the overall experience was good, after reviewing the cost of the repair I realized that your company charged 3x the standard rate for this repair. I had to option but to use your service as I had a ruptured brake line and could not drive my vehicle, but I will not come there again.

2021-11-02I received excellent service at Mr. Tire. They fixed my power steering pump extremely well and in a timely matter. Tyler and Gavin were both helpful and friendly. Overall great experience.

2021-10-27Bought tires and have taken it there twice because they keep deflating. First time took around six hours to put on tires. Took 90 minutes the second time to repair the tire as employees walked around doing nothing and left some kid to do my tires. Tires still deflating. Will be taking to another reputable tire place in the area. This is about the third time that I have received bad service from this place. As a long time customer, I will not be going back. Paid $800 for tires that keep deflating.....after numerous attempts to fix. What a joke! Please save your time and do not go here.

2021-08-06I wish I could rate lower. Used to take my car there all the time. NEVER AGAIN. One of their mechanics, whos engaged, decided itd be cool to cheat with my wife in their garage. So, unless youre cool with a business that lets their employees sleep with your wife Id avoid them altogether.Response: Youre response to my review... understatement. Unhappy with your service? Its not a issue with my car, YOUR MECHANIC DID MY WIFE IN YOUR GARAGE. How does something Ike that happen without you knowing? Thats an issue that I dont see a resolution for in a phone call, but thanks for the canned response. Seriously, I hope you go out of business because I cant see how an owner of a garage doesnt notice his employee ramming my wife in his garage.

2021-10-01I called first thing next morning which was a Tuesday the person answering the calls said they were unable to give me information I needed because they were just there helping answer the phones it was very aggravating I don’t even feel comfortable taking my car back there feel as though they are going to try and charge me more (that I do not have) to look at my vehicle when they are the ones that caused the issue of the light coming and staying on…Brought vehicle in for alignment and balance of tires car was there for five hours and fifteen minutes and car came back to me with check engine light on ( which has NEVER been on since I owned car)
