We always take our vehicles to Mr Tire and they never disappoint. It is wonderful being greeted by Stacey and working with Eric and his team. Everyone there is pleasant, knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend Eric and his team at Mr Tire for all our vehicle needs.

Very unprofessional wouldnt recommend goin there if you like your car crashed into alignment wrack after being there for 8 hrs while they had to change over brakes and rotors and a lower control arm. I was told by the Manager Eric Carlson that he would take care of it. I waited almost 2 months and have got nothing but lies and dragging on the situation.
They have always taken good care of keeping all of our lincolns i good service. Reasonably priced fair.

Fits my schedule and friendly service. They also gave me, without asking, a 20% discount on my alignment. Just had a new tie rod end and ball joint put on, so the alignment was necessary to ensure proper tire ware. Hoping its all good!!!
The customer service is impeccable and they are incredibly knowledgable about cars, contrasted with me who knows nothing. The prices are great and they really want you to be happy with their service. I have been to places that will charge you for the smallest stuff and Mr. Tire seems to value returning customers and customer satisfaction more than charging the pants off of you. As long as I am in this area I will probably always come here for my car servicing.
I had an excellent experience at this Mr. Tire location especially with an employee named Eric! He was able to accommodate me quickly, and once we realized what the problem was he was able to explain it to me for me to easily understand! The best part was I was in and out so fast! Lastly, the waiting area was very clean something you don’t see in a lot of shops so it was refreshing to see! This shop will definitely be my new go-to!
Great service. We just moved here and went in asking about all season tires that would work with the snow. They were honest, and actually said that my tires were as good as any of the new tires they could sell me. They also rotated my tires and fixed a sensor at no charge. Mr. Tire will now be the only tire place I deal with. So glad there are still good, honest companies still out there.

I replaced all front suspension parts myself and then had them do only an alignment 5 months ago. After driving only 5,000 miles, my alignment was out of wack. They said the alignment would be free. So i went back to get it done. They insisted my outer tie rods were shot in which were just replaced. They said it would be $80-100 to replace them. I asked if that was just parts or parts and labor? They said that was total for parts and labor. I had them replace the parts. The total was 175. I asked why the total was that much if they gave me a much lower quote before fixing it. He said that was $80-100 EACH SIDE. But he never disclosed that before i authorized them to fix it. He said total before when quoting, knowing that i was thinking it be the total, and not each side. I find that to be a crook method of business. I insisted they return my old outer tie rod ends back. I took them to my mechanic and they said there was nothing wrong with these tie rod ends.As a side note they stated that my lifetime warranty on my tires bought from Mr Tire does not have any effect because i bought them in the Sayre PA Mr Tire. One more thing to add to the list i guess.I will never return to this or any Mr Tire ever again. They just lie and scheme you to get business. They will change parts on your car that does not need to be fixed to get money. They will quote you a false number just to drum up business. The next time i need tires or an alignment, i am going out of my way to go to another business.
By far the best experience when it came to the specific work that I needed done to my truck! Jeff the store manager went above and beyond to make sure my truck was done in a timely manner. His crew got it in and how with the installation of leveling kit, wheels, and tires! Thanks again guys
The staff and service at Mr. Tire in Horseheads is second to none. My wife and I needed a ton of work done, and sooner than expected. The recommendations and ability to get the work done on short notice was refreshing and comfortable because of the knowledge and demeanor behind the counter. We have been coming to this store for a while now and will continue to give Mr. Tire our business. I highly recommend their service both here and to whomever I run into that needs vehicle work done.
Had good experience with them in the past however today I brought my car in that needed 4 tires balanced and mounted and an alignment. They broke all 4 of my tire pressure sensors off and after calling 2 other shops, I was told by both other shops breaking one might happen but not all 4 they should have had a speciality tool for them. And was told they could replace them 60 a piece both other shops said this was most likely a rookie mistake on their end needless to say I will never be using them again
I always get the best service here and the prices are great. Eric Carlson is a top notch employee. I will continue to come here for all of my car needs. I cant sing their praises enough! Great job as always👍

ALWAYS super helpful, fixed the noise in my car for cheap...same noise Firestone told me was NOTHING. Clearly not. I left here and all was well again. Would highly recommend.

Nice clean store, pleasant counterman. I went there to get 110K maintenance quote on my Subaru imprezza. I was surprised to have a reputable local shop beat their price. Often Mr. Tire has pretty good prices.

Amazingly fast! Our tire got punctured by some construction on I86. They got us in and fixed it. Plus they checked all the tires. Total life savers!!! Highly recommend!!
We had a problem with the emergency brake on our van, so we took it to them and they said it would cost $800. Then we took it back to the man we bought it from because he said he would fix it. And he looked at it and discovered that there was nothing wrong with it. Just a little rust that he cleaned off. The brake is working great now. But, Mr. Tire is a little crooked.

As soon as we walked in the door we know we made the right choice. Walmart refused to install the tires we wanted because it wasnt what was listed on the door .its still my choice. Mr tire gave us what we wanted and needed and went way beyond the call of duty. They were cheaper than competitors in our area fast and courteous . ThanksGuys we are very satisfied, Linda and Robert
If you want your car fixed right, you should take it to your respective dealership for service. Otherwise, you can bring your vehicle here 4 times for the same simple issue and still not have it resolved.Customer service is good.
I Hit a huge pot hole in their parking lot then got my oil changed, the pot hole caused my heat shield too jar loose, and they wanted me too pay twenty dollars too cut it, I refused as I thought it was crazy I had too pay 20$ too make a two sec cut for a problem caused by their lots pot hole! Unfortunately when I cut it off at home, I got in the car too park it, and the heat shield hanging caused my o2 sensor to come on, it losened the wire, or cut it or something not sure yet what it did, I only know my o2 sensor light is now on smh! and the heat shield was hanging from it. All this for an oil change! Im a loyal customer, with a mister tire card, but none of that mattered when it came too making a two second cut for me! Never again! The same pot hole caused my vans belt too Come lose, and I had too replace that I kid you not wife hit it right behind me. we was getting both cars oil changed! At the very least be careful pulling in their parking lot people! They will say sorry for your luck, its not our pot hole! even though its in their lot! Never again!

Had a great day experience today. The staff was very friendly and was in and out in no time at all. Very organized and great service. They also have a children area and which I thought was very convenient and awesome for my son.
Not a Good place to trust your car. Doesnt take responsibility for poor service work. Simple spark plug change. They damaged plugs and only wanted to give another plug after another machanic found their mistake. Pictures of damage plug . They said piston hit plug dont only drive was damage not possible four piston to hit there. Take for car else where

I am from Wisconsin and drove to horseheads to do a job, and my car broke down while there, went to mr tire and Eric and his crew hooked me up, they stayed a hour and half after closing to get me back on the road. They were great people to have on my side. Thanks again for all your help!🤘

Very rude and not willing to uphold warranties they issue on tires. I will be speaking with their corporate headquarters but if they are anything like their customer service at this location I expect more incivility and deceit. Take your car and your money elsewhere.

Gave me estimates on things I didnt need. Took my vehicle to 2 other places for eval and both said I didnt need the items Mr.Tire listed.
Said that I needed work done to my car that I later found out from two other shops that told me there was nothing wrong with what they said I had to fix.

They made a fuel leak worse upon inspection and tried to get me to buy an unnecessary part when the fitting was just needed to be tightened by another garage and the issue was resolved for $54 instead of the hundreds these guys wanted

2022-06-21Walked in, asked if a NYS inspection could be done, and the answer was yes!In a day and age where labor shortages are the norm, the young man who came out to see what we needed got us in and out within a half an hour.Been here in the past several times, and have always had good experiences.

Your STACY on the initial phone call: polite - pleasant - professional - accommodating - honest - AND CARING!! ...Very unusual in todays USA...STACY (not MR. TIRE) worked magic, got me right in, greeted me pleasantly AND professionally did the necessary paperwork...all while trying to answer the phone and as I observed treated EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER with the above CUSTOMER SERVICE POLITENESS AND UNDERSTANDING! 2022-07-03I highly recommend mr tire as I have been using them for a few years now. I have called and talked to stacy on multiple occasions and she is always professional, friendly, and gets my vehicles in almost right away ( depending on what needs done ). 0 complaints with Mr tire so far, friendly and honest staff with great quality of work.

2021-12-30In Dec 2021, my daughter had a rattling heat shield and was charged $75.00 at Mr Tire in Horseheads to receive a $1000.00 estimate for various repairs. Fortunately she called me before authorizing them to do the work. I took the vehicle to our regular auto repair shop, where they thoroughly checked all the items, and found the only item needing any attention was a loose heat shield. They repaired it quickly for less than Mr Tire charged for just an estimate. I can only presume that Mr Tire is either incompetent or completely dishonest.

2021-08-08Eric provides friendly and prompt service to all his customers. Very patient to explain any questions you have though they are very busy. The amazing thing is that they are even open on Saturdays and Sundays. The parking lot is always full of cars. Always best to call ahead and make an appointment for faster service. I bring my Toyota and Subaru here for servicing.

2021-05-21Stopped in before embarking in a 3.5 hr return to lower NY. I was received by a very pleasant technician at the front counter. I requested a balance for the rear wheel/tires on my 2011 Cayenne. Was quoted a reasonable price and authorized the work. A good amount of time went by, maybe 45 min and other the removal of the rear wheels/tires no work was started.The technician who greeted me came over and indicated I needed brakes (which was definitely correct), I said Id take care if that myself. He also indicated that the front wheels/tires were out of balance. I asked how he determined this as the front wheels/tires were still mounted and had never been removed. He said we put ii on the machineWhich was not true because a keep the vehicle in my sight the entire time and the front wheels/tire were never removed. Since was traveling long distance. I gave permission to proceed (dont know what I was thinking, had lot going on at the time I should have declined). After over an hour my vehicle was returned. After leaving the shop and as soon as i was able to take a look, I noticed the front wheels were still wearing the original factory weights (the wheels were new with factory original silver barrel with matching silver wheels weights). These weight were in their original position, with no evidence of old weight adhesive present as the front wheels showed.My brand new wheels were mounted/dismounted with impact tools and were damaged in the process. I thought I was in good hands when the greeting technician stated I need To find out what your torque specs are ( I assumed the tech would use a torque wrench with the statement).The front wheels were never balance. I paid for a four wheel balance and received a 2 wheel balance and damaged wheels. I called the shop and was told the technician who wrote the service order was on the line and would be on for some time. I left my number and never received a call back.I was beyond angry and decided it would best not to return to the shop. I would never recommend this shop to anyone. They are unprofessional and dishonest.If I could give them no stars I would... HORRIBLE experience
