Muse Paintbar - Tribeca in other cities:
Great place to loosen up and have fun painting. The instructors are very friendly and will walk you step by step on how to paint the final painting that is hanging up on the front on stage. You are free to deviate from the actual painting they are teaching the class and can paint whatever you want. When following along with the instructor you can make your painting your own by adding extra elements, e.g adding birds to your painting thats not necessarily in the artwork you are copying. Muse is not BYOB but they do have a bar with reasonably priced beers and wines, no liquor though. I highly recommend Muse paint bar whether you are solo, on a date, or in a group, you will not be disappointed.
Went in with my best friend for our birthdays. We had never done it before and were so excited. It was the best thing I’ve done with my best friend and now my art is hanging in the living room with pride.Drinks were limited to wines and sangria. Moderate prices but it’s only a 2 hour class. So we only spent 20 bucks each on drinks. I plan to return with my hubby for couples night.
I loved this place!!! I went there last week for my birthday!!! Both my friends and I had a great time. We realized that all of us can paint with some proper guidance (Thank you Sara for being a great teacher!) We also were happy to learn that Muse served bar food along with wine & beer which came very handy after all the painting :-D Great experience!!!! Will definitely come back again!
Definitely worth trying out for a birthday, coworker team outing, or just s fun night out with friends. In total, I spent $30+(plus) on a ticket and drinks (the studio has a bar and kitchen for small bites for purchase during the paint session). The instructors are nice and go at a good pace for the entire group. Along the way they will educate everyone on tricks and tips to becoming better painters. At the end of it you’ll walk away with a beautiful canvas.
My brother recommended this place to me. I finally had a chance and went with my wife for a painting session. We had a great time! The instructor Jon was really good, funny and very helpful. If you’re looking for a fun activity to go to with friends/ family I definitely recommend you try this place
This was such a great experience! Our instructor was great and the pace of the class was comfortable for us beginners. I came in on a free drink night and me and my date had a lot of fun! The painting seemed really hard at first but it ended up being very doable in the steps the instructor divided it in and we both ended up very happy with our final result. It’s a perfect place to go on a date, celebrate a birthday or just have a fun night with family.
Ive been to Muse Westchester locations a couple times before and theyve always been great but the Tribeca location really stole the cake. By far the most fun Ive had at a paint night. Our instructor John was just the best and had us laughing the whole time, what a sweetheart! We will definitely be back for a paint night with John! Now for some deets - great location walking distance to bars and restaurants, the space itself was super cute and intimate with super clean bathrooms and places to hang your things. They are following all covid guidelines and keeping everyone safe. We were also lucky enough to get parking right in front on a Friday night. Heres the trick- parking is allowed after 7pm so book the 7 slot and show up a bit early for guaranteed parking.
We loved having our daughters birthday party here at Muse Paintbar Tribeca. From the start, we worked with the party planner Andrea who was very flexible with plans. When it was party time, the artist teaching the class (Amanda) had to deal with some rowdy girls, but somehow she was able to keep her calm and even calm them down in the process. The bartender/assistant (John) was phenomenal - making sure all the kids needs were met, but also the hosts/parents. The food was even great...and obviously the wine :) Such attentive staff, a fun venue and great concept all together. My husband and I kept saying it was the easiest birthday party ever! And we will be back just adults next time.
A fun, energetic and friendly atmosphere. Drinks were readily available and conversation a plenty. People were discussing their pieces together and catching ideas off each other. The artist Sara was a great guide and kept it informal and low pressure. Great experience. Will do again.
Me and my boyfriend visited this place last night and had an awesome experience. We have been to one paint night before by another company, but this place by far took the cake for us! Our host, Tabitha, was a great instructor that showed us some tips about painting to help us create the ideal piece. She was super welcoming, friendly, and helpful! The artistic freedom of this painting (blazing cosmos) was great for us to add our own twists on things and wasnt so strict and detailed which we have experienced before. Hopefully in the future we can get more tips and tricks to make our paintings even better!
Had a great time here. The ambience is very good, as the work area is an actual studio. The instructor was very friendly and helpful. So were the staff. They also have good menu options if youre hungry. Many photo ops in the studio and you can also choose one of your favorite paintings for your private events.
I love this place. The ambient is friendly and the instructors are always fun! I’ve gone there repeatedly and bring family members and friends with me. I always get a good seat for my daughter since she’s so small. I love this place and I definitely recommend it for beginners, and intermediate painters.
First time coming here, had a wonderful experience. Such a nice and welcoming place, everyone is very kind. I ordered the brownie with ice cream which was mouth watering delicious. The instructor was amazing, made many jokes, easy step by step instructions, helped anyone who needed it.10/10 would definitely go again !! Highly recommended !!
Its a therapeutic experience sitting through a paint session. The instructor made us comfortable with our inhibitions which allowed us to leave our fear of being judged behind and just enjoy the whole experience. Recommend this for a team building or kids birthday party.
Best painting experience Ive had by far. The host was funny, and came by and gave positive feedback to everyone. Its a non judgement zone. They have a menu for food bites and drinks. Its also in a beautiful section of town. Inside its beautifully decorated and wait for it... there is more than one bathroom (hallelujah!). They have dryers to help speed up the drying and cute plastic bags to take your paintings in. There was even a sawtooth hook on the back of my painting so that I could put up! Ive been to other places but this place right here!! They nailed the experience.
This is a great place to hang out with your friends or relatives and enjoy a hilarious painting session. The facility is very clean and air conditioned. At the end of the session, they give you a bag to carry your artwork. Not all Muse Paintbar have this which was a cute little bonus. Additionally, the painters and lead painter were very friendly and helpful.
Staff is friendly and helpful to novice painters. Great drink selection. Their chicken tenders are surprisingly good too! Paint seems to be of good quality, no issues with dried out bottles or anything. The painting lesson is usually simple to follow, and you can ask for help if you mess up or fall behind. They offer painting bundles too. An awesome place to go, especially with a group of friends!
The artist/instructor and bartender amazing/awesome very friendly and both easy to talk . the food menu was out of everything has 3-4 items left on menu.. NO Air Conditioner working only two SMALL fans in the front room and the room was hot. No free WiFi available... the only way I will be coming back is if air conditioning is working .. 😓
Trendy place to meet and try your artistry painting with acrylic. Easy to follow directions by the instructor. Level of difficulty depends on the subject of the painting. Everything is provided for a fun time. Drinks can be purchased from the bar as well as various finger food from the menu. At the end, you get to bring home your masterpiece in a bag which they provide.
Really fun atmosphere thats great for both experienced and inexperienced painters. The staff is super friendly and insistent that Muse is a judgement free zone: paint what you want, how you want, and be proud! Snack and drink options are definitely a plus: we even had two drinks included in our admission for that evening!
They offer finger food, which is a bit weird. Paint and wine, sure. Paint and bar food, not so sure. They have their rooms organized in small clusters and some people will have their back turned at the host, which makes it difficult to follow along. Their painting was kids friendly, which is great if you want to do this as a family.
Do you want a relaxing evening of wine with friends and creating a beautiful piece of art? Muse Paintbar offers ~$10 per cup of wine and 2.5-3 hour paint session for $30-40 a session. Complete with smocks, acrylics and instructions! This wine and paint trend has been slowly seeping into New York culture. Now multiple venues offers an instructor, wine and supplies. Its a fun way to hang out with your besties or special someone and nurture your creative side. And you dont have to clean up the mess!It was very soothing and peaceful to work on the canvas, mix the paints and paint. My friend loved the event! So did K and hes never painted before!Definitely recommend for a fun relaxing evening!
My daughter and I came to Muse paint bar Tri beca on Black Friday for a girls day out to paint the Grinch! This was our second visit to a Muse Event. We were greeted by the artist Jon in full Grinch face paint which was such a wonderful surprise. He was in full character, such a comedian, had a great music playlist for us to enjoy the whole time. HIs coaching, tips and instructions were all excellent and he was so helpful to all of the customers. He deserves SIX stars out of 5! Thank you, Jon and Sara, for making such a great memory for us!
It was an awesome place to relax .the paint instructor tabitha was awesome. Also the bar attendant John was very people friendly had a great time but the place was extremely hot and uncomfortable the place had two small fans which was not sufficient to keep the place cool that was my only complaint. The reason for three stars .
Omg the night started horribly was late to my own bday session at Muse my mother, daughter, and grand daughter was there on time ... there was a horribly accident on the Long Island expressway which made my husband my son and I hour late for our session.. I was in tears when we finally reached the women who was in charge was the nicest ppl ever ... they assured me they would catch us up to the others and told me it’s ok we will have a great time and we sure did .. thanks Muse you guys ROCk
It was fun and ok, but the experience itself was overpriced. 40$ for being rushed with no time to explore creativity. Non alcoholic beverages were overpriced. They should pay their instructors better so they dont have to ask for tips as we were in a third world country.

2022-06-02I had a wonderful experience! I’ve been here before, but it was interesting going alone this time. The session was lovely and so was the instructor. The whole vibe of the evening was definitely memorable, and I’ll come back again! I sort of nailed the painting too. Only sort of though LOL 🎨🧑🏼🎨

2021-09-28I’ve come to Muse Paintbar twice now and both times I’ve had so much fun. The first night we painted Dwight and Michael from the office and the second night I went was paint your pet night. Both of my classes were taught by Tabitha who is an absolute gem. If you can go to a paint night where she is the instructor you will not be disappointed!

2019-08-20Fun place for a night out to be creative. Staff was very friendly and worked to make sure everyone had a great time. Supplies were fair quality as some of the paint brushes fell apart. Glass painting was a good time. Great location. Drinks are small and overpriced. $12 for a sangria which is half the size of what you receive in a restaurant and no ice or fruit.

2019-07-25This was a way better experience than my first visit there. Our Artist Amanda was wonderful. Would definitely love to do another painting with her. Jon was also great with helping us out.
