It was a mild experience. I was confused in regards to Iftar arrangements. It is a place for Young Kids to experience a Visit to Mosque. Ideal place for Mosque, with Police Station on the corner and Public Park next door. There are Powder posted for Different activities being held at location, but I never observe them actually taking place.
They are wahabiz, they have no clear concept between Halal & Haram meat, i aske imam once and his answer was so disturbing, exactly the way mentioned in Quran , “people will change islamic living style the way it benefit them , imam says you can eat or buy meat from any one any relegin who have a Book from God,he says yes you can buy and eat from Christens and jews, its been 5 years i stop buying fresh meat from arabic stores because not sure if they are selling zibha halal, and try not to eat from their restaurants ,or so called Halal chicken rice carts, their concept is if its dead that is Haram, even if its not properly islamic way Zibha that is Halal, Haram is pork and already dead animals chicken birds, that is why you will see arabic and many muslims buying eating from KFC Mcdonalds and other non Halal food places,
Wahhabi place be careful! During one of their juma speeches imam claimed that people from Uzbekistan (Samarkand, Tashkent) invaded Bagdad while Arabs were learning books, also he noted that mongols ( he referred Uzbeks which is complete lie Uzbek nation is Turkic nation) were so cruel during that invasion that there were rivers of blood in Bagdad. By this speech this Mosque imams rises hatred towards one nation in this case towards Uzbeks. I must remind to that imam some historic facts, during the invasion of Bagdad, people of central asia(uzbekistan) already had been converted to Islam. They were converted to islam in 10th century and Bahdad Siege took place in13th century. It turns out to be Bagdad were invaded by Muslims themselves. In religion there is saying All muslims are brothers and they dont differ by race or nationality. They are united by belief. And this kind of Wahhabi propaganda only harms the community. I address to all true muslims abandon this mosque till they clean they clean themselves from wahhabi imams!
Peace be upon you, a blessed mosque, but some of the sisters attend the mosque in decorated abayas, make-up and perfumes, and enchant the worshipers, and they sit in the corridors of the mosque, talking and laughing, and they do not respect the House of God, as if they were coming to a party or a picnic.
God bless us and you in this good and the way available for our children to learn our religion and language,Personally, I live in the proximity of the center and my daughter has benefited and benefits daily from teaching you the affairs of her religion and language, science as young as engraving in stone.,Great place for kids to learn about Islam and learn the Arabic language., Thank you to you all., And allah bless us all.
Mosque Ahwani entered the original for the first time there is 4 Goh in the Asr prayer, speak aloud that the Egyptian army and Menoufia are the worst enemies and Kaman Saud I was surprised I entered the mosque and no political place God and yes agent in the Brotherhood betrayal.

2021-12-10Lots of programs for kids, women, and reverts. Downside: no separate entrances for women and men. And the womens section is a small corner. Barely a fraction of the space for men, even when there’s not many men. :( Very squished when you factor in that women sometimes bring their kids, too.

2020-01-27Are used to go there for the Friday this place is a nice and very neat and very clean. The Friday prayer time over there is 1:45 PM. The speech before the prayer is good and after prayer you can enjoy the coffee over there for free and have the filtered water over there so they have the disposable cups and everything so if you stop by you can have these amenities for free. They have shoe racks in the hall so at the prayer time you can put your shoes there.

2020-03-01Very hospitable place for all guests. Sister Fatima is the star of this place. Running many affairs, and of course the administration is the mind behind it all. May Allah bless them. There will be much more cooperation between Al-Ansar Center and MAS Youth Center In Shaa Allah. Our Uzbek community is also very much involved there now.

2020-11-22You guys do not respect the time. You provide schedule for Jummah but you do not follow that schedule. I have seen this many times. For example: The last Jummah on November 20, 2020 was actually performed when Asr time already started. The scheduled time was 01:45 PM to 02:00 PM but actually we prayed Jummah at 02:20 PM where Asr time already stated at 02:14 PM. We work, we take break to pray Jummah for specific time period based on the schedule you provide. We hope MAS Authority take it seriously. May Allah keep all of us safe – Ameen.

2020-01-13Youth Center is the place where you are welcomed no matter what nationality you are and which background you are coming from. Staff is very orginized and well prepared on the events that take place in there. We love to be part of this masjid. Youth Centers management letting us to have Uzbek classes every Saturdays and we as an Uzbek and Tajik communties are very honnered and pleased to have our classes here in this beautiful Masjid. Indeed, it is a class that is needed to our Uzbek and Tajik speaking communities who are living here.May Allah bless this masjid and its Staff. And may Allah help this masjid to continue to serve the community. Amin.
